Here I explain how to configure yahoo mail in outlook express

Do one of the following :

Add your Yahoo! Mail e-mail account to outlook

1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.

2. Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.

3. Click POP3, and then click Next.

4. Under User Information, do the following:

1. In the Your Name box, type your full name the way that you want it to appear to other people.

2. In the E-mail Address box, type your Member ID (or username), followed by the @ symbol and domain name.

5. Under Server Information, do the following:

1. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type the server name from the chart below that corresponds to your e-mail address.

2. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type the server name from the chart below that corresponds to your e-mail address.

6. Under Logon Information, do the following:

1. In the User Name box, type your Yahoo Member ID (or username). Do not include the @ symbol or domain name.

2. In the Password box, type your password.

3. Select the Remember password check box.

Note You have the option to have Outlook remember your password by typing it in the Password box and selecting the Remember password check box. Having Outlook remember your password means that you won't have to type your password each time you access the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.

Use strong passwords that combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Weak passwords don't mix these elements. Strong password: Y6dh!et5. Weak password: House27. Passwords should be 8 or more characters in length. A pass phrase that uses 14 or more characters is better. For more information, see Help protect your personal information with strong passwords.

It is critical that you remember your password. If you forget your password, Microsoft cannot retrieve it. Store the passwords that you write down in a secure place away from the information that they help protect.

7. To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings. If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

8. Click More Settings.

9. On the General tab, under Mail Account, type Yahoo! Mail.

10. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.

11. Click Use same settings as my incoming mail server, and then click OK.

12. Click Next, and then click Finish.

Notes

Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.

Unless specified by Yahoo! Mail, all server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.

Remove your Yahoo! Mail e-mail account from outlook

1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.

2. Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.

Click the Yahoo! Mail e-mail account that you want to remove, and then click Remove.

1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, double-click Scheduled Tasks.
3. Double-click Add Scheduled Task. The Scheduled Task Wizard appears, as shown in Figure 1. Click Next.

4. You'll find a list of applications within the Scheduled Task Wizard. Scroll down this list until you find Disk Cleanup. Click on Disk Wizard to highlight it, as shown in Figure 2. Click Next.

5. Select a frequency for the Disk Cleanup to run. Running this task weekly is suggested, as shown in Figure 3. Click Next.

Motorola and palm smart phones are likely to get Flash 10.1 support

The World famous smart phone development companies are competing among themselves to give out the best facilities to their customers, by coming up with newly added features in their devices. One of those, which are the Motorola and palm companies plan to add Flash support to their smartphones shortly. The news garbed from the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. They wants their customers to access a broader range of Web content from their phones.

Motorola promised to put Flash 10.1 on an Android handset in early 2010. Adobe announced Flash 10.1 last year, saying handsets from 19 vendors would ship with the software starting in mid-2010.

Sanjay Jha, the CEO of Motorola's handset business, who has unveiled the company's Back flip Android handset at the CES, announced the company new software update that will include Flash 10.1 support. But no idea yet to be shared about the launch date of this software update.

Palm is also ready to bring Flash support to its smart phone lineup.

Palm's WebOS operating system is also ready to race along with Motorola and they said they will be delivering this flash update in an upcoming plug-in that users will be able to download and install on their phones. Which is unveiled by Paul Cousineau, the director of product marketing at Palm, during a press conference.

The most updated news about this Adobe flash 10.1 is the working of Adobe with Google to bring out the Flash10.1 in the Google’s new Nexus one Android phone earlier this week.

Floating hotel in space – A multi-billion $ project planned for 2012

What to say about the man kind ? “ A real genius” , they found the way how to live and rule the earth. But even more a head of find their way to step into the space and to make them as their tourist place ?.

Woundering why the above line ?. These strikes in my mind after , I came to know about this space hotel launch palnned in 2012. Here is what is it actually and who have the guts to give life to it.

A BARCELONA company - Galactic Suite Ltd's (http://www.galacticsuite.com/), who is actually behind this amazing plan has decide to occupy the space with Galactic Suite Space Resort - the first hotel in space. They are on their target to accept its first paying guests in 2012.

The Galactic Suite Space Resort will cost around 3 million euro ($4.4 million) for a three-night stay at the hotel for a single person.
They will also give a eight-week training course on a tropical island. Not sure what they will teach about.
During their stay, guests would see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world every 80 minutes.
They would wear velcro suits , so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman. ( ha.....ha…. have to experience it.)
British tycoon Richard Branson's space tours firm, Virgin Galactic, will use the facility to propel tourists into suborbital space at a cost of $200,000 a ride.
It will actually take a day and a half to reach the pod .
More than 200 people have expressed an interest in traveling to the space hotel and at least 43 people have already reserved.

For every unbelievable and unimaginable invention and creation, there will be some one who sits and crisis that. Galactic Suite Space Resort is not an exception for this. This is also a real victim of it. There are some criticisms going around, critics questioning the investment and time frame for the multi-billion dollar project.
But ,
Galactic Suite Ltd's CEO Xavier Claramunt, a former aerospace engineer, has the answer for these critics , he said an anonymous billionaire space enthusiast has granted $3 billion to finance the project. A real worth for giving this project.

The tower's dramatic rise above the Gulf horizon will yet again remind the world of Dubai's growing financial muscle.This allow the buyers and holidaymakers to stay and carry on with their exciting lives in amazing fashions.

Google Chrome OS - Google’s biggest rival ?

Many of us have been using the light weight Google Chrome browser .Same technology transformed to a lightweight, browser-based operating system for net books.

Google Inc. reveals new details about its upcoming operating system. Google targeting for their OS release by late 2010. System boot time targeted for 7 seconds.They are calling it as Google Chrome OS .

"We want Google Chrome OS to be blazingly fast ... to boot up really fast , just like a TV," said Sundar Pichai, vice president of product management for Google.

The next question ??? that strikes in my mind is

“ Will this Chrome OS be available as a freeware?”

But Google says no to this question. Pichai said, “It will not be available as a download to run and install but instead Google Chrome OS can only be shipped.” Chrome OS netbooks will not have be available with traditional hard disk drives -- they will rely on non-volatile flash memory and Internet-based storage for saving all of your data.
