Our training in Cebu was held in VHM Review Center. We have been in partnership with the review center for the last 5 years delivering quality programs with international accreditation.

Our next training schedule in Cebu will be this coming December 1-3, 2014.

BLS course ACLS course November 10-12, 2014, Cagayan de Oro City

We have conducted another round of training for BLS ( CPR-Pro) as well as ACLS in Cagayan de Oro City. The training was held in Demiren Hotel Convention Center and the participants were mostly from Cagayan de Oro City. There were also those who were from Pagadian City who travelled all the way just to join the training.

We will be coming up with another schedule of training in Cagayan by early next year considering that there are those who wish to join the program but were unable to secure a leave of absence from their duties.

ACT Caregiving Lecture Invitation October 23-24, 2014

I had the pleasure of being invited by the ACT College of Nursing Dean to conduct First aid and Basic Life Support Seminar workshop for their caregiving students in preparation for their assessment for the TESDA national certification.

The training was good for two days which was held at ACT Colllege.

Each of the participants take turns in performing the CPR, as well as other skills involve in

First aid and Basic Life Support.

BLS course ACLS Seminar Koronadal City October 17-19, 2014

After conducting training in Cebu for the special schedule exclusive for medicine students, our team proceeded to Koronadal City, for the scheduled BLS course and ACLS seminar participated by nursing professionals.

A total of 54 participants joined the training, including some of tho who have joined our training before but came to renew their course completion cards.

It was another successful program and will be conducting another set of training in the area before the year ends.

I had the pleasure of being requested by some medical students to conduct BLS course and ACLS seminar in Cebu City. It was in time for their semester all break so and so that despite their busy student life, they were able to come up with a free time for the training.

It was a fun experience for them knowing that one day, they will be applying the skills that they learned in the hospital setting.

Shortly after our training schedule in Davao, I had another BLS course and ACLS training in Cebu City. The training was conducted in VHM Review Center which handles our monthly training schedule for Cebu.

The program was attended to by more than 20 participants including those who are from outside Cebu. Once again each participants had the opportunity to master their skills in advance airway management as well as learning the simplest way to read and interpret the ECG.

BLS course ACLS seminar Davao City September 27-29, 2014

The month ended with another training in Davao City participated by more than 20 participants including 2 medical doctors. The training was held at Bahay Alumni, Brokenshire College. There were also participants who came in for renewal and I am very happy to have them once again.

BLS COURSE ACLS Seminar - Butuan City September 12-14, 2014

We have just concluded our training in Butuan City, Philippines, which was conducted through the invitation of Elisa Ochoa Maternity and Hospital. The program was a 3 day activity which started last September 12.

The hospital administrator opened the training with his welcome address and was happy indeed to welcome our group again for another round of training.

After the opening remarks we started right away with the discussion and the whole 3 day activity was indeed a great success.

We wish to thank the hospital administrator, staffs and participants for the support, for making the program a great success. Wishing everyone the best in the future and hoping that what they learned will help them in their job and in their future plans...

BLS course ACLS course Cebu City Philippines September 8-10, 2014

We have just concluded our monthly BLS course and ACLS course in Cebu City, Philippines. The program was held at VHM Review Center in downtown Cebu City.

A total of 25 participants joined our program with some people setting in for renewal. I am happy indeed to see some of them coming back to refresh and update themselves for the latest guidelines. Some of the participants are also applying abroad and are required to submit requirements such as BLS certificates- CPR cards as well as Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificates.

Hands on skills from CPR were done as well as Advance Airway Management skills were performed during the training along with ECG interpretation and pharmacology.

Lecture Invitation Iloilo Doctors College Sept 4, 2014

It has been years since I have not updated this blog. I have no excused but I think it would be time to to post here again. Just recently I was invited to speak about Basic Life Support - CPR and ECG Interpretation topic at Iloilo Doctors College.

The program was good for one day and the participants are nursing graduates who will be taking the nursing board exam before the end this year.

I am happy indeed that to have shared additional knowledge that may be useful during their board exam.

This program would have not materialized without the support of my friends from Iloilo Doctors College who was with me all the way.

My next training will be in Cebu and this is under the American Safety and Health Institute BLS course and ACLS course. Will surely update this blog and hope to be able to do so from time to time.

ACT LECTURE invitation

I promised to update this blog. Unfortunately, I was quite busy with the training that my last post was still on the month of April. Well, there is never too late for everything.

Venue: ACT College, College of Nursing

We were invited once again by the Dean of the College of Nursing, ACT College to handle the First and and Basic Life Support Course for their nursing students. It was indeed a great pleasure going to the school. We have been handling such program for quite a time already.

The participants were taught the basic of first aid, including practical skills on Bandaging, Emergency Transportation. They also had a hands on demonstration on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator.

I have a lot of postings to do. Our team have been so busy conducting training so and so that I was not able to update this blog of mine. I have decided to update this blog starting with our next training tomorrow instead of tracking back where I left it last October 2011.....

So here I am right now in Koronadal City (Marbel). We have scheduled training here, the venue of which is in St. Alexius School AVR. Everything is set and I have nothing to do but just relax and wait for tomorrow.

I have just arrived from Cagayan since I have conducted training there and have left behind my team to continue the last day of training.

I need to go ahead otherwise I won't make it in time for tomorrows schedule. The trip from Cagayan heading Koronadal takes around 8-9 hours.

Well, just letting everyone know that I am back.... See you around!

First aid, Health Care Provider CPR and ACLS Seminar for October 2011

For the month of October, we have conducted training in different places once again. Areas covered were the following:

Cagayan De Oro City, Iligan City, Tagbilaran City, Surigao City and Cebu City.

The Cagayan De Oro City training was held at Skills Mastery Institute. The date of training was October 7-9, 2011.

Shortly after the training in Cagayan, we proceeded to Iligan City for another schedule of Basic Life Support and ACLS Seminar. The venue of training is Mindanao Sanitarium Hospital. Participants were volunteers of the hospital as well as other nurses within the area.

After the Iligan City schedule, our Tagbilaran City schedule followed. Conducted in Nurseways Review Center. Nurseways Review Center is a sister company of Nurselink Review Center in Cebu. We have been conducting training with them for quite a time already.

Shorty after finishing the Tagbilaran City schedule, we proceeded in Surigao City for another BLS course and ACLS Seminar. From Surigao, we went to Davao for the last stretch of our Mindanao Training.

The last schedule of training was in Cebu City, sponsored by Nurselink Review Center, Cebu City.

Basic Life Support Course and ACLS Seminar

We have just finished our First aid, CPR and AED training (Basic Life Support Course) and Advance Cardiac Life Support Seminar in Cebu City. The training was held at the Nurselink Review Center which was also sponsored by the center.

The participants were all nurses coming from as far as Ozamis, Cagayan, and Negros. Obviously majority of those that joined are from Cebu City.

We had fun once again as the participants enjoyed a three day session on the basic aspect of Emergency Care including hands on intubation as well as basic ECG interpretation.

Basic Life Support Course (First aid, Health Care CPR) and ACLS Seminar - Cagayan De Oro City

On August 22-24, 2011 we were in Cagayan De Oro City conducting First aid, Health Care Provider CPR with ACLS Seminar. Once again the venue is the Skills Mastery Institute (SMI) facilitated by our coordinator Mrs. Delia Realista. It was once again another successful event. Some participants were from Iligan, Surigao and neighboring cities of Cagayan.

As usual, the participants had a refresher on the different aspects of Emergency Care such as Bandaging, Emergency Transportation, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. Moreover, Basic ECG interpretation was also tackled. They also took turns in performing hands on intubation as part of our ACSL seminar topics.

Kidapawan City First aid, Health Care CPR, and ACLS Seminar

We have just finished our Basic Life Support training in Kidapawan City. The training was held at Penongs Convention Center and started on August 15 which culminated today.

Each of the participants were trained on the different aspects of first aid including practical applications on bandaging. The participants also took turns in performing CPR and in performing "hands on intubation".

On the third day, the topic was about ECG interpretation and an exercise on basic interpreting was given to check if the participants were able to learn from the seminar.

Well, the seminar ended well and I am looking forward to conducting the same training in the area in the near future.

We will be proceeding back to Davao for our flight to Cebu by tomorrow morning. Our next schedule will be in Cagayan De Oro City on August 22-24.

Butuan City First aid, Health Care CPR Course and ACLS Seminar

After our training in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, we proceeded to Butuan City to conduct the same training. The venue of the training is the Elisa Ochoa Memorial Hospital. This is actually our third run on the hospital.

We are very happy indeed to be back in the hospital to conduct the program. It only shows that the administration and staff is indeed happy and satisfied with our performance during the first two sessions.

Well the 3 day program was another great success. Participated to by different nurses who are working in the hospitals and other participants who have just joined upon hearing about our program.

I am also very pleased to see some familiar faces, participants during our previous trainings who have told us that they were able to intubate already in an actual performance. Well, guys, I am proud of you and wish that you will accomplish more.

Shortly after the end of the course, I was told by our coordinator that by November this year, they will be coming up with our fourth run of training.

I am surely looking forward to that event...

We have just finished our First aid, Health Care CPR and ACLS seminar training in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The training was sponsored by Nurseways Review Center based in the city.

The review center caters to NCLEX Review, IELTS as well as our Basic Life Support Course and ACLS Seminar. A total of 17 participants joined our 3 day training and it once again, all the participants were indeed very happy to have joined our program.

Definitely, we will be having another schedule in Bohol. But as of the moment we have not finalized yet the specific date of training. We usually conduct training in Bohol on a monthly basis or once every 2 months depending on the number of participants.

Our First aid, CPR and AED Training in Sanitarium Hospital, Iligan City was a great success. More than 50 participants joined our program. Mr. Tod Generato, our Iligan Coordinator also informed us that the hospital administration has approved for the inclusion of our training for their volunteer nurses. This is obviously a great development for our center as well as an advantage to the hospital.

Although we have conducted training on several occasions using the hospital as a venue, the previous trainings were not affiliated with the hospital. It just so happens that our coordinator works at the Sanitarium.

I know that most of us familiar with the standard A-B-C. But the new guidelines are now C-A-B under the 2010 CPR Guidelines as endorsed and created by the American Heart Association. So the new guidelines now starts with checking the pulse and checking for life.....
