Minimalist Home Design with Green Backyard in Brazil

This time we will see a minimalist home design with a grand impression. This minimalist house design was designed by Metro Arquitetos Associados and is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This house consists of two main buildings, concrete and steel. This home has a functional layout and has two bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room.

1. This house brings the concept of minimalist home. Nevertheless this house still seem elegant. It is because the design of the house is unique and different from that normally houses. This house consists of two floors and a cube-shaped beams were nice.

2. From this point of view, we can see that most of the walls are made of glass. We could see into the house so clearly. Design houses of this kind would be to save energy on the lamp. This is because light can enter into the house freely.

3. This house has a little green open room. There is a small garden in this section for the kids to play. The wall is made of glass functioned to allow you to supervise your children playing in the garden

4. This house has a solid construction structure. From this view corner, we can see the walls of the house is made of thick concrete walls. The walls are very strong and sturdy because it is made from the good material. Also in this corner we could see the stairs made of concrete.

5. This house consists of two floors arranged very interesting. In this section, we can see there are steps that we can use to access to the second floor. This stairs is made without a handle to reinforce the impression of a minimalist home in this house. Nonetheless stair design is very strong.

6. In this section we can see the design of the neat family room. There is a long sofa chairs for relaxing seating all family members. Floor of a house in this room made of wood. The floors are made of wood provides warmth in this room.

7. Now we are led to the kitchen in this minimalist home. This house has a kitchen with a floor made of ceramic. Ceramic material deliberately created to facilitate the current home owners want to clean the stains from the kitchen. In the kitchen there is also a rack arranged neatly to put furniture.

8. In this section we can see there was a hallway leading to the exit. Connecting exit this hallway with access to the house directly opposite the kitchen and family room.

9. In this section we can see there are tables and chairs arranged neatly. This section is used for child seats while going breakfast or just relaxing during the day when I got home from school. Tables and chairs in this room has a minimalist design may make it look simple and does not take place.

10. We now go to the bedroom part in this minimalist home. In this section the concept applied remains a simplicity. In the bedrooms there was only one bed and a small cupboard to put the furniture of the room owner. The design of this house is very simple but still comfortable for my wife and our children.

I am sure you know who Maroon 5’s front man is – Adam Levine. If you watch even a little MTV or listen to music, I’m sure you’ve encountered the name somewhere and unlike most of the other sizzling rock stars out there their bachelor pads are often found under two categories including – Louche Vegas fantasies or overly futuristic digs filled with toys for big guys.

I am pleased to introduce to you Casa de Rock Star – Adam Levine’s California pad which combined midcentury elegance and a touch of bachelor attitude. There is no stereotyping about this man’s bachelor pad. His is a place immaculately decorated with the 1940s ranch design. I find the classics hanging on the walls very attractive and unique. For me, this dream home is a sneak peek to the life and character of Maroon 5’s front man. It is definitely a modern home but the design has meticulous air in it and this is undeniably a place of a man who is confident and firm about his preferences.

The modern architecture was formerly an unremarkable 4-bedroom house but now you can just look at the layout and tell me if there is anything unremarkable about it. The house floor plans were almost perfect and the entire place has been pristinely made. The rock star admitted in one of his interviews that he fell in love with the location and I couldn’t agree more.

The interior design gave it a sense of privacy and intimacy but with unmistakably masculine. The interiors are definitely breathtaking in every sense of the word. The location has the “Hollywood” touch without being really one.

I love the great kitchen – it is modern yet the classic touch is also there. The spaces depict what modern living is really all about. Levine asked his longtime friend – Mark Haddawy (the 20th century design collector and partner at Resurrection) to provide guidance and make the home truly compelling. As I turn into the bathroom design, I love its simplicity yet filled with sophistication and elegance.

The architecture’s previous internal walls were torn down thus reducing the number of bedroom from four to one. Concrete was utilized on the floors and rosewood paneling can be seen throughout. The place was then magnificently turned into something that has depth and soul. For me, this is an inspirational home that I would want to have someday.

This house located in Snajhih Taiwan and design by Marco Casagrande and Frank Chen. From the architects "The house is realized on an old Japanese cherry-farm in the Datun -mountains of North-Taiwan. It is designed as a vessel to react on the demanding wind, flooding and heat conditions on the site. The house is a stick raised above the ground in order to let the flood waters run under it. The different spaces are connected to a flexible movement within the axis of outdoor and indoor functions. The smaller bathroom and kitchen unit acts as a kicker stabilizing the wooden structure during the frequent typhoons and earthquakes.
The bio-climatic architecture is designed to catch the cool breeze from the Datun -river during the hot days and to let in the small winds circulating on the site between the fresh water reservoir pond and the farmlands. A fire place is used during the winter for heating and for cooking tea. In connection with the bathroom is a small sauna.
The house is not strong or heavy – it is weak and flexible. It is also not closing the environment out, but designed to give the farmers a needed shelter. This house is located on a quiet road leading to Hampstead Health. Belsize Architects says that "The brief was to form a modern and enjoyable single family home for our client by extending the ground floor and integrating the rear garden with the new interiors. The main architectural interventions to the exterior consisted of a new extension with a terrace above and redesign of the rear elevation to create large openings. Internally, the ground and first floor layouts were remodelled extensively. The ground floor was opened up and connected to the new extension. The rear garden was excavated so as to be at the same level as the ground floor. The kitchen to the front of the house was designed with sliding doors so that it could be separated from the living room when necessary. A large addition to the rear of the ground floor, tilted in plan from the lines of the main house in order to capitalise on the best outlook, was built to create the sitting area in the living room. Structurally the extension was challenging, since it had no column in the corner facing the garden. Two sliding doors meet at the corner with the ceiling above suspended in the air. A large opening, covered in structural glass, was formed over the extension, which lets diffused light into the depth of the living room. The first floor of the house is dedicated to master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe as well as a study. From the architect "The "Nature" of the Nature - Ecology of a Penthouse we appoached this project as one might study ecology as a set of symbiotic systems. Just as nature itself is a collaboration among independent dynamic systems, this penthouse dwelling is formed by the relationship among the existing "found" objects, manmade "natural" elements, and a planted landscape that weaves between. Rethinking the nation of an urban garden, this project introduces a dynamic ground plane, composed of a planted carpet surmounted by wood flooring, which links the penthouse loft with the roof terrace and affords panaromic views of downtown. An interior "sytems" of wood walls and ceillings guides ones movement throught the space and blurs the distinction between private and public spaces. Says the desinger "This penthouse apartment contained no furniture at the beginning of our endeavour. The client required that the apartment be turned into a calming, warm abode. The kitchen/living room area was quite narrow so in order to make it appear wider I decided to use wallpaper with thick horizontal stripes that incorporated warm colours that breathed homeliness into the room. Although the colours used in this project needed to be warm ones it was important that they were also subtle and natural and to compliment this theme I used many natural products including: a hemp rug, a walnut coffee table, oak flooring and silk cushions."

Once again from Revelloyd Interior Design . At this time the desiner goes to Islington, Georgia. And says the designer this beautiful Georgian property required a practical, yet stylish, living room that would serve as fine place to entertain as well as an area that would satisfy the needs of two teenage girls with a large DVD collection! The two large sofas in the room are chunky and comfortable and their inclusion highlights the size of the room. The colour scheme is quite natural with 'red' acting as an accent colour. The red is a bold, un-bashful statement that highlights that this is a personal room - not just a cold textbook design. In a post-modernistic contrast I coupled this modern red theme with a traditional hemp rug (which I love to use due to their durability). I wanted to make sure there was ample places for any guests to place their drinks so I inserted a generous sized coffee table as well as some side tables. I felt that the walnut in the room contrasted well with the accent colour and gave the room a rich autumnal feel.
