Downloading and installing the PlayStation^®3 system software update will update your PS3™ system's operating system to include the latest security patches, settings, features and other items. We encourage you to check this page from time to time for system software updates and to always maintain your system to use the latest version of the system software.

An update to the PS3™ system software was released on September 20, 2011. You can use this update to upgrade your system software to version 3.72.

If your PS3™ system software version is 3.72 (or later), you do not need to perform this update. To check the version of your system software, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [System Information]. The information is shown in the [System Software] field.

TV/Video Services

(TV/Video Services) has been added as a category to the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) menu. Video streaming services now appear under (TV/Video Services). Some services require that you download and install an application.

The icons displayed may vary depending on the country or region of use and the availability of services.
The icons for some streaming services previously located under the (Video) category now appear under the (TV/Video Services) category.
The (TV/Video Services) category is not displayed in the XMB™ menu when no services are used.
Your PS3™ system must be connected to the Internet for information about services to be updated.

Auto-upload Saved Data

You can now store new and recently updated saved data for PlayStation^®3 format software in online storage automatically on a regular basis.

DTS-HD audio output is now supported while playing Blu-ray 3D™ content*.

Each monster can be made to perform one of two attacks, or if you feel a slight imbalance against your opponent, you can recall your creature and send out another in its place. This PS3 entry in the franchise features over 10 hours of play in Single Player mode and online battles (with a pay-per-play system) for networked multiplayer bouts.

Renegade Ops (Demo Available) — Renegade Ops puts players in a mobile commando unit sent behind enemy lines to defeat Inferno, a madman intent on global domination. Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness — Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness is a fighting game produced by Capcom in 1994 where the pilots of mecha battle each other. The game is a sequel to the scrolling fighter Armored Warriors. The game only had minimal distribution in arcades outside Japan, and none of the console ports were released overseas. Tech Romancer (ported to the Sega Dreamcast) is considered a spiritual sequel for this game; Jin and his BX-02 Blodia are present in it as an unlockable bonus character/mech.

PSone Classic

Pong — Pong on the PlayStation takes that original idea, adds a super clean and smooth 3D and physics engine, and hammers out dozens of new ideas only a 3D game could possibly do.

PSP Titles Being Remastered for PS3

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. announced.

Sony today announced a PSP Remaster series of titles that will ship on Blu-ray discs for PlayStation 3 starting first in Japan.

The games will be "customized and developed" specifically for PS3 and include additional features such as Sixaxis support, new add-on content, and/or stereoscopic 3D support. Save files will be transferable back and forth between the original PSP game and the PS3 version. Ad-hoc mode gameplay will also be supported though the "adhoc party for PlayStation Portable" application on the PS3 system but not with every title. Sony notes the application is not supported on the 20GB model (CECHB00) which does not include Wi-Fi.

In Japan, the first PSP Remaster title will be Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. from Capcom. "The graphics of the PS3 version, including monsters, fields, equipment, as well as Felyne Comrades, are more gorgeous and vibrant than ever, and will deliver dynamic gameplay when played on the large TV screens," Sony said.

No other details, such as North American or Europe release plans, were revealed at this time. The press release notes that PSP "blockbuster games" will be remastered, so the selection will likely be limited to top-selling titles only.

Today Sony announced a new line of PS3 games it's dubbing the PSP Remaster series -- PSP games that have been upgraded with HD graphics and much more. Here are the first details.
Those who are worried that Sony intends to release a bunch of lackluster PSP ports can rest easy: In addition to the HD visuals, Sony is promising new content for the games, plus control schemes designed for the PS3 controller. Stereoscopic 3D support and ad-hoc multiplayer will also be supported for certain games. Sony also revealed that save files can be swapped between the PS3 and PSP versions of the games, allowing you to play on your television at home, then take the game on the road with your PSP, something that Hideo Kojima showed interest in last year.
The first game that will be released in the PSP Remaster series (in Japan, at least) is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, which is wildly popular in Japan. There's no word on what games will be released in America, but could this be what all those God of War Portable HD rumors were hinting at?

Assassin's Creed Revelations

The next chapter in the blockbuster series from Ubisoft on PlayStation 3 follows Ezio Auditore Da Firenze on another epic adventure as he explores a brand new story and environments in the footsteps of his mentor, Altaïr.
Ezio is armed with a fresh set of weapons and abilities to help him overcome another band of ruthless Templars and traitors. His famous Eagle Vision has been heightened, and he now possesses an even more powerful Eagle Sense which highlights past events along with enemies and secret passageways.
The vast weapon wheel now holds two types of ammunition; knives, guns and blades can be found in the primary one, while a secondary wheel holds bombs and explosives. In addition, the acclaimed multiplayer mode introduces many new characters, each with their own back story and history.
NeverDead

Easily one of the most refreshingly innovative titles of gamescom 2011, Konami's NeverDead has a premise rarely explored in video games – an immortal hero. Demon hunter Bryce has been cursed with the ability to survive all manners of fates that would kill a normal human being and uses these deadly injuries to help him stop a demonic invasion.
If Bryce burns in fire, he can blast off flaming bullets from his gun. Electrocute him and he can use his body as a conduit to electrify his foes. Even losing limbs doesn't faze Bryce – he can simply recollect his body parts by rolling over them, or use them as weapons.
With its dark gallows humour, NeverDead is memorable and inventive. It will change the way you look at the typical action adventure when it launches on PS3 late 2011.
Borderlands 2

In development since 2009, Borderlands 2 is not "just a bunch of new levels" in the words of the studio's Steve Gibson; rather, as an update to one of the surprise hits of the last couple of years on PS3, Borderlands 2 has been revamped throughout, with brand new weapons, vehicles and computer-controlled characters.
The result is a humorous, Mad Max style tale set in a richly detailed, distinctive world that is brought to life using a heavily inked, almost comic book, art style that really sets it apart from other titles in the first person shooter mould. Added to this, little environmental touches such as smoke trails, distant waterfalls and fluttering flags help to create a sense of a world that is constantly evolving around you.
You'll be able to delve deep into this world as missions evolve and lead you across the landscape, taking down enemies along the way. Other innovations include smarter enemies, an on-screen mini-map and updates to the co-op multiplayer mode.
Prey 2

Shown behind closed doors at gamescom 2011, Prey 2 on PS3 wowed anyone lucky enough to set eyes on its futuristic thrills. You control an amnesiac bounty hunter Killian Samuels in a mission to discover why he was abducted and the reasons behind his memory loss.
The alien world of Exodus is a sandbox of strange creatures, where you can explore, talk to its inhabitants and apprehend dangerous criminals. Prey 2's Blade Runner style presentation works to make it a visual masterpiece, drawing you into Exodus with lush environments and freakish aliens. Hover boots, threat detecting visors and other technological wonders are yours to play with.
It's an epic journey where your actions and decisions have powerful consequences on your quest for identity. Impressive and engaging, first person shooters rarely come prettier or more involving than Prey 2.
Lollipop Chainsaw

Another title reserved for media only, the latest outing from acclaimed game maker Goichi Suda – aka Suda51 – introduces gamers to Juliet Starling, an 18-year-old high school cheerleader turned zombie hunter.
The undead have overrun San Romero High and it's up to you as Juliet to use a dizzying array of athletic moves to see them off in this high-kicking action adventure that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Oh, and of course there's a certain chainsaw to get to grips with, all of which makes for a fresh take on the action adventure genre that is sure to bring a smile to your face when it hits PS3 in 2012.

10 Statement of Deus EX that need to be know.

Delve into the world of the futuristic thriller on PS3 with game director Jean-Francois Dugas and producer David Anfossi.

1. Hacking
The hacking mini-game in Deus Ex: Human Revolution is deep, original, engaging and quite tense. There are also plenty of rewards for completing certain hacks, so it's up to you to decide whether you want to go that extra mile to get those rewards. You'll end up reading insightful emails and gain access to security systems to disarm cameras, turrets and even robots.
2. Augmentations

Augmentations are the stars of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. They offer you a unique gameplay experience. Augmentations support the four pillars of the game: combat, stealth, social and hacking. They also tie into the overarching theme of the game: transhumanism. A favourite augmentation of mine is Smart Vision, which allows you to see through things. This augmentation ability is great for allowing you to plan your next move.
3. The look
We definitely feel like we managed to craft a beautiful, credible and original world in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. When we were thinking about how to revive the Deus Ex series, we knew we wanted the game to look different, and never thought we would do it as deeply as we did. Take the time to explore every corner, back alley and office; there is always something or someone telling a story about the people that inhabit those spaces.
4. Story
We like to think that with Deus Ex: Human Revolution we managed to craft a deep storyline that hooks you until the end. Our characters are fleshed out, nothing is ever what it seems and the premise of the story touches on subjects that, as people, we care about. Even though the story is quite epic in scope, we believe it's still a very personal and emotional one.
5. Takedowns

We don't know why, but in Deus Ex: Human Revolution they always feel satisfying, even after repeated use. This is probably because each one is so brutal, in addition to the fact that we have so many. What we did find is that takedowns tend to stay fresh in the long run.
6. Choices and consequences
The story in Deus Ex: Human Revolution is somewhat linear, although how it unfolds hinges on your actions. Not all choices are clearly mapped out in front of you. Most are inherent to how you deal with certain situations and encounters. This makes for an incredibly personal experience. It also adds to replay value, which means you'll be able to play through the game a number of times in different ways and experience multiple outcomes.
7. Genre blender
Deus Ex: Human Revolution mixes four different types of gameplay: combat, stealth, hacking and social. Each one is engaging and rewarding in its own right. What we are most proud of is how we managed to mix these mechanics elegantly together into one cohesive experience.
8. Stealth

It's incredibly satisfying to sneak around enemies without being seen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Try to take them down from behind while avoiding detection or eavesdrop on conversations - this is a great way to gain hints. Stealth is really engaging and makes you feel like you've outsmarted every enemy. It's definitely a more demanding approach to playing the game, but the payoff is worth it.
9. Fridges
Yes, you read that right - fridges. Not only can they can be picked up and used to access hard to reach areas or thrown at annoying characters, they're also great portable cover. Although we mention just the fridges here, there are lots of other objects in Deus Ex: Human Revolution that act as portable cover. Look out for them.
10. Side missions

Side missions in Deus Ex: Human Revolution are actually quite lengthy and play a part in the overall story arc. They allow you to learn a great deal about different characters, organizations and the themes in the game. We like to think of them as fleshed out stories that, even on their own, are as compelling as the main storyline. They're not easy; they involve tough decisions that you're going to have to make, and in the world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution nothing is ever black and white.

When .hack//The Movie Comes Out On Blu-Ray, It Will Include A PS3 Game

Tekken Blood Vengeance is on what Namco Bandai calls a hybrid disc. The Blu-ray movie also includes game content, Tekken Tag Tournament HD and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Version.

.hack//The Movie will also be released as a hybrid disc with some kind of game content. Details about the game have not been revealed. CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama shouted to his Twitter followers that the game is more than a freebie.

Before the movie shows up on Blu-ray, .hack//The Movie will debut in Japanese theaters in January 2012.

Update: Impress Watch, which covered the event live, retracted the statement about .hack//The Movie being a hybrid disc, stating there was a mix up with Tekken Blood Vengeance, which is a PS3/movie hybrid disc. Thanks to Chris at dothackers for the heads up.

Hideo Kojima Now Testing Metal Gear Solid 3 In PS3/Xbox 360 HD Collection

Since the hidden pinup posters were imported using the original data, this version of Metal Gear Solid 3 has HD pictures of Yumi Kikuchi.

Kojima took close up screenshots of the mangrove scene and Snake with a crocodile cap with his iPhone.

The version of Metal Gear Solid 3 in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, which means players also get Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 on disc. It’s unclear if the Snake vs. Monkey bonus game will be included too since it features monkeys from Sony’s Ape Escape series.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be available in North America on November 8.

Dark Souls ESRB Rating Reveals Multi-Headed Dragon Boss

The ESRB deemed Dark Souls a game for players 17 years old and up. From Software’s title was rated "M" for blood and gore, partial nudity, and violence. For comparison’s sake, Demon’s Souls also received a "M" rating for blood and violence.

More interesting is the description, which lists some of the monsters and bosses waiting to send your character back to a bonfire.

This is an adventure role-playing game in which players must battle monsters and collect souls to lift an undead curse across the land. Players use swords, axes, and magic arrows to kill zombies, demons, giant spiders, and other fantasy creatures in both ranged attacks and melee-style combat. Players can also use stealth attacks (e.g., stabbing) to dispatch enemies at close range. Battles are accompanied by slashing sounds, cries of pain, and large splashes of blood. Blood pools may also appear on the ground, and some environments depict flaming bodies impaled on spikes. Boss battles include instances of dismemberment and decapitation (e.g., cutting off a gargoyle’s tail, slicing multiple heads off a dragon). During the course of the game, one female enemy’s breasts are barely obscured by strands of hair; some bird-like humanoids are also depicted with exposed buttocks.

Dark Souls will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 4 in North America and October 7 in Japan.

I’ve been lucky enough to experience the game using a Logitech G27 force feedback wheel, on a 3DTV with surround sound set-up, and I can honestly say it’s the most exhilarating gaming experience I’ve ever had. Pumping the accelerator and gripping the wheel as you drift your muscle car through a tight city corner at break neck speeds feels incredible, and when an apocalyptic earthquake aftershock kick in and tears open the ground beneath your wheels – while you’re trying to avoid gangs of crazy looters and rivals throwing their weight around in monster trucks – it ups the ante even more. If you can, you absolutely must experience MotorStorm Apocalypse like this. Words just don’t do it justice.

Dragon's Dogma Technical Review ( 2012)

Dragon's Dogma (ドラゴンズドグマ Doragonzu Doguma) is an upcoming action adventure game that is being developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game has an open world fantasy setting and is planned to be released in North America on March 27, 2012 and sometime in early 2012 for Japan.

Gameplay

The player will be able to select between various types of characters, of which three have been revealed so far: the attack-focused fighter, the magic-focused mage, and the speedy strider. Gender choice and appearance settings will also be available.

While the player's party is exploring the world, the three party members who accompany the main character will be controlled by artificial intelligence, but the player can issue orders like "Go", "Help" and "Come to them". One of the party members is a non-playable character (NPC) and belongs to the main character's world. The other two party members are NPCs borrowed from other players by connecting online, but the game will not require an internet connection. However, the player can only borrow the NPCs from other players, not their main character. The party members will talk, seek out the main character's help, and will even provide information about enemies. The player will need to work on strengthening not only the main character but the party members also.

The game will feature a "grab" action, where the main character can grab on or cling to enemies. The player can use this feature for more advanced attack means. For example, the main character can either grab on to a giant griffon's legs and attack it directly, or climb up to reach the top of its head for a more lethal blow. "In a lot of action games, with big enemies the tendency is just to have you hacking away at the shins. You don't get the full effect of fighting a giant boss," Itsuno, the director of Dragon's Dogma says. "With this game you can climb all over it. If it has a body part, you can attack it." The ability to climb enemies has drawn comparisons to Shadow of the Colossus.

In addition to the large open world, Dragon's Dogma will also feature a large main city environment with over 200 NPCs who will move about according to their own time schedules. The player will be able to communicate with the residents in full voice.

The game is being designed to be playable even by those who aren't too skilled at action games. These types of players can recruit strong NPCs and let them do the fighting during combat as they watch over the battlefield.[4]

Players can look forward to anywhere between 30 and 100 hours of game time from Dragon's Dogma, with the former figure for normal play with the latter figure for those who wish to dig in to the game.

Remember when Monster Hunter Tri was supposed to be a PlayStation 3 game before Capcom jumped ship for the Wii, likely on the grounds that it was cheaper to develop for and had a larger install base? I remember, and it looks like Sony remembers, too, because they're finally getting their PS3 Monster Hunter game.

But it's not Tri, oh no. Rather, it's an HD version of the PSP-native Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, unimaginatively titled Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Version. It'll sport HD graphics, be compatible with 3D (!), and will allow users already playing the PSP version to share and transfer their save data between platforms. Online play will still be available via Ad Hoc Party.

There's some good news in this announcement for folks not into Monster Hunter as well, for this game is the first in the new Sony "PSP Remaster" series, a line of PSP games that will be tarted up and customized for re-release on the PSP. If this works out, a lot of folks who missed out on some great games because they were too stubborn to pick up a PSP may yet get a chance to play them on the beefier home consoles.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Roars Onto PS3 In August

For Japan, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. is likely the biggest title in Sony’s PSP remaster series. This line brings PSP games to PS3 with HD graphics and other special features.

Capcom set August 25 as the release date for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver., but don’t sell your copy of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd just yet. You can import save data from the PSP game into the PlayStation 3 version. Capcom made a significant tweak too. Since the PS3 controller has two analog sticks players can manually move the camera with the right stick. The game supports AdhocParty for multiplayer, but does not have an online mode of its own.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. will retail for 4,800 yen ($60). While that may appear high, it’s actually less than Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. When the PSP game launched in December 2010, stores sold it for 5,800 yen ($71). Watch this video to see the PS3 version in action.

Capcom USA “Pushing Very Hard” For Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd hasn’t been announced for an overseas release, but the PSP Remasters version, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver., has a better chance of making it over.

Capcom’s Christian Svensson commented on the game in the company’s “Ask Capcom” video Q&A this past week:

“We mentioned the Sony issue around the PSP-to-PS3 line [PSP Remasters] that Sony Japan is doing. I’m still pushing very hard on that…I’d like for that to happen. In the absence of that, at some point in time, we will have some additional news.”

Asura’s Wrath Points To A 2012 Release

After seeing this trailer at Captivate, the hotel was rattling with chat of ‘God Finger’, ‘Heavenly Point’ and ‘Space Cuticle’. The game was actually Asura’s Wrath and, with so many of the games on show such as Dragon’s Dogma suggesting a shift towards more Western influences with new Capcom games, it had a distinctly Japanese feel along similar lines to the likes of God Hand.

However, while there’s nothing new about an action game featuring gigantic Gods, there’s one series that PlayStation fans are particularly familiar with, so I asked director Seiji Shimoda how far the similarities run…

First of all I’m honored for Asura’s Wrath to be mentioned in the same breath as God of War – I have played it and it’s an incredible game. Superficially, there are some resemblances but we’re hoping that, as you see more of Asura’s Wrath, you’re going feel that it’s something completely different; that it doesn’t really compare with anything else in action gaming.

This fight shown today occurs at the beginning of the game and he is actually one of the weaker bosses. The boss fights aren’t all going to be on this scale… well, the scale may be grander but that’s not to say the bosses have to be bigger, if that makes sense; some will be quicker or simply better fighters. We’re striving to use bosses to heighten the drama of the story, not just use them as an action set-piece at the end of a level.

It’s not your typical action game where you start out with a small sword and work up to a huge weapon; it doesn’t have that style of progression. However there are various stages where Asura can power up – you have already seen here that he started out with two arms and then he has six, and there will be quite a few transformations along those lines. The character you see here is not all there is.

We’ve tried to make the camera feel part of the game, not just a lens to view it though, so that the action and the drama feel grander, if you will. So to take today’s example, we’ve placed the camera in a position that makes the boss seem huge. In the fighting sequences, you want the camera really close up so that each punch is at its most visceral. We keep going through this internal self-critique over camera placement and you’re going to see that it’s not there for the sake of being there, but it almost feels like another character.

That’s just about all we know about Asura’s Wrath right now, other than that it satisfies a common request from modern games fans – the option to choose between Japanese and English voiceover. It’s coming to PlayStation 3 in 2012.

Hands On with "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3"

Capcom came out to Comic-Con International in San Diego in full force this week, not only bringing some of their upcoming games ("Asura's Wrath" and "Street Fighter X Tekken" among them) but also making some announcements at their panel to keep the comic book and fighting communities salivating.

"Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" brings back the 38 characters that rose a ruckus in the first game (released earlier this year), along with 12 additional characters, some tweaks that make the fighting action a little more justified and a new Spectator mode. The refined package will be available in November for a budget price of $39.99. Comic Book Resources stopped by Capcom's booth, which was constantly packed with fighting tournaments and a fan-dedicated shop, to check it out.

Out of the 12 new characters, only four were revealed thus far. On the Capcom side, Firebrand -- a fire-breathing demon from the "Ghosts 'n Goblins" series -- and Strider Hiryu, a favorite from "Marvel vs. Capcom 2," were showcased. Firebrand is a fast-moving monster who uses fireball attacks and swooping wing moves to literally get the jump on his enemies, while Strider incorporates large sword swipes, along with assistance from robotic drones and panthers, to thrash his opponents. Those of you familiar with his style from the previous game will get used to him here within a match or two.

As for the Marvel side, two interesting additions will keep fans happy. Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, makes his fighting-game debut in "Ultimate," bringing with him all the fury and fire of hell. He arrives in traditional demonic Fonzie fashion, wearing a leather jacket and brandishing his trademark flaming chain. This chain proves useful for ground and air attacks, giving him a devastating range in which to deliver damage to his enemies. He also has some skillful close-up attacks should someone make the mistake of actually getting near him.

But perhaps what's most impressive are GR's super moves. Build up enough energy (level 1 or above) and he'll hop onto his motorcycle and run his opponent over, starting on the ground and then leaping into the air. Time it right and you'll get at least 12 hits -- a good chunk of the opponent's energy -- out of it. Go all the way to level 3, and he unleashes his true hellish Penance Stare power on his foe, yelling at them, "Look into my eyes!" The screen then shifts into a first-person perspective, and in a huge explosive flash of light, your opponent is pretty much toast. It's awesome stuff.

The other new Marvel addition is Hawkeye, who joins the game with bow in hand. He's a very nimble character, one who isn't afraid to get in there and dish out the same kind of punishment as his fellow Avengers, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk. He has some very impressive kick moves, but obviously he's best when shooting arrows -- and he does this in a number of ways. He can shoot straightforward shots, or he can launch arrows into the air to come down a second or two later, dishing out damage from above. As for his super attack, we only saw one, but it's a slick-looking sniper shot, where he charges his bow and lets his opponent have it with a strong golden blast.

The game controls are about the same when it comes to the in-game combat. You've got your three punch and kick buttons, which you can coordinate together to perform combos, both on the ground and in the air. There are some tweaks, as mentioned above, that make the fighting a little more balanced this time around. Some fans complained about how some characters were a little too powerful for their own good, namely Dark Phoenix. While CBR News didn't test her out specifically, Capcom assured that the final game would satisfy fighting fans.

As for the Spectator Mode, it's a cool mode where you can watch fights happen with other players. There are tournaments all over the world where fans can watch in amazement as true fighting masters (such as Justin Wong) devastate anyone that dares to face them. (A lot of Comic-Con tournaments over the weekend were like that.) This not only lets you observe what's happening, but perhaps learn a thing or two from it. Watching other people fight, we actually learned a few techniques with Magneto that we wouldn't mind trying out once post-Comic-Con.

Capcom couldn't officially speak about the other eight characters that will be included in "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3," but a rumored leaked list hit the Internet a few days ago. This list includes Vergil ("Devil May Cry"), Frank West ("Dead Rising"), Nemesis ("Resident Evil") and Phoenix Wright (the Ace Attorney himself!) from Capcom; and Dr. Strange, Nova, Iron Fist and Rocket Raccoon from Marvel's side. Capcom will unveil who's officially on the roster over the next few months, so we'll see what we'll see. Still, if this list is official, it'll be interesting to see how Dr. Strange fares against Phoenix Wright. Can't wait to see how the "Objection!" attacks look. Or "Take that!" for that matter.

Kudos to Capcom for not only letting us check out the game, but staying faithful to both its fighting and comic book fans. While "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" may feel like an unnecessary add-on, there's actually enough substance here to justify its release. Plus the budget price isn't bad at all, especially considering what you're getting. Stock up on Band-Aids and get ready to brawl when the "Ultimate" fight comes your way this November, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
