I am a woman who, at one point, saw the merits of abortion. I, in my secular world view, actually justified abortion as being the merciful thing, saving a baby from being unloved. Here’s the catch though…the only reason a baby could ever be unloved is because his or her mother has chosen not to love them. No baby is un-loveable. It is the person given the gift of carrying that baby who is void of love for whatever reason. That is the choice they make. The abortion is merely a symptom of lacking enough love to tackle the harder choice.

I call the women marching for abortion rights Damnedsels in Distress not because I am damning nor can I personally damn anyone. I do honestly believe these women (and men) who support abortion are damning themselves. Killing your child in the womb is killing yourself on a host of levels. We must understand this and show mercy. Many of the marchers in the Women’s March have had abortions and deal with that choice forever in the back of their minds, especially if they chose to have children after their abortion and must look into the living child’s face every day. Some would say that constant reminder is damnation enough.

The job of the pro-life world is to educate society and help all of these people climb out of the mire of abortion through compassion and understanding. We must show them that peace will never be theirs as long as they justify abortion, no matter how many others seem to align with them. Throughout history masses of people have been fooled or forced to champion evil acts. The act of abortion is no different. It is murder.

We all rally around saving the rain forests, abandoned dogs, refugees but innocent human life in the womb somehow is disposable. When did womankind become so disgusted by the mere notion of being a mother? When did pursuing an education or a career or just not being up to it override the role of mother to a new formed life? Our society touts material pursuits as more valuable than maternal pursuits. Society casts women who do choose motherhood as women not living up to their potential. The truth is, the only potential of a person that matters is their potential to love another person.

When a woman is blessed with a new life in her womb (no matter the circumstance that created the life), that experience of growing the life force and then bringing it forth into the world is the zenith of all human acts. Nothing in all of existence is as sacred and as important to humankind except Christ’s dying on the cross.

But somewhere along the way our society ceased thinking of a baby in the womb as God’s gift. We started referring to the human being as a blob of cells. If that same blob of cells were found on Mars we would be hearing the world of science explode with elation at this new life. Every blob of cells in the womb is new life, a person with a soul that has a mission to fulfill on this earth.

Seeing women wear t shirts proclaiming “I love abortion”, I know I am witnessing a damaged soul whose problems existed well before they chose to kill their baby. The abortion industry is preying on these women and society is complicit. I would love for Roe v. Wade to be overturned, especially since the case was based on was a ruse. The plaintiff, Norma McCorvey, never had an abortion and to this day is a staunch pro-life advocate.

However, the law is not the problem. The hearts of American women are. We must change hearts to save hearts. We must save the Damnedsels in distress. This is the task at hand. Seems impossible but thankfully, with God, all things are possible.

Faux Feminists March For Freebies

The Women’s March was a confused spectacle. As a woman who thought this same way 15 years ago, I can personally say these women are foolish, self-absorbed, white elitist, pseudo-intellectual parasites searching for victimhood while claiming independence from and power over cruel American male domination. In the same breath they demand to be completely subsidized and cared for by the government from cradle (if they make it that far without being aborted) to grave. Dignity and logic were both non-existent in the sea of pink pimple hats.

Real feminism is dead. American women have lived too long in a country with a government that has coddled them and told them they were not sluts if they sleep with 100 men. Lower your standards still lower, ladies, please! That’s the American way. Take a Gardasil shot that may or may not protect you from a few of the many cancers you can contract while having multiple sex partners. You go girl! That’s using your college educated head. Don’t worry, you are safe to catch STD’s and pass them on as long as you are on oral contraceptives.

None of these geniuses bother to ask the question why abortion numbers are so high if every woman who wants to sleep around is on government funded contraceptives? We’ve just had 8 years of their guy, Don’t be a Mama, Obama. We now have more herpes and less babies. Success! If these women are so evolved, why does women’s health now revolve around their sex lives more than anything else? It seems, by the level of desperation for free contraceptives and access to abortion, the left promotes a society of sex slaves where the number one health risk is getting knocked up unintentionally. What sort of feminists who want control over their bodies are that out of control themselves and unaccountable for their own actions? Feminism is dead.

Not to be in contradiction, just contraception, liberal women are equally obsessed with clean food as is the jargon of white, liberal elites. They shudder if they consume anything other than gluten-free, organic veggie mounds picked by undocumented $15 an hour immigrants who wash them with gloved hands in filtered spring water from Colorado. Yet these same yoga posing temples of politically correct virtue ingest chemicals that warp their reproductive systems, making their bodies respond in anything but a natural cycle of order. Oommmmm?

Fertility is now treated like a manageable disease. If the crappy Planned Parenthood contraceptives don’t work, there’s always the snatch and grab they can have done at the local Planned Parenthood outlet. That’s what these women deem their sacred health care that Donald Trump is so laser focused on taking away. (Straw man alert) They want the government (American tax dollars) to fully fund their sex slave status while banning anyone from having a choice as to where to send children to school. I forgot, for many on the left, children are the result of a failure to abort. The “choice” ended with aborting and does not extend to education. That’s progressive logic. Keep the offspring in government schools so they can be molded into the next generation of fruitless sex slaves.

I saw one sign that read, “I want my son’s future partners to have access to safe abortions.” Liberal motherly love, nothing but the best for their kid’s sex lives. This is America. If these are your ideals, fine. But please do not label what you pursue as “Women’s health”. Be truthful. It is “Sexual health”. Own it. It’s not Planned Parenthood, it is Planned Selfhood. Parenthood is God’s doing. Abortion is something God wants nothing to do with. And I bet if you polled the babies, they would want to stay clear of it too. They just can’t march or vote. So do your nasty thang, girls, but don’t make me pay for it. A real feminist picks up her own check.

Feign Pain, Slain Cain?

The circus around Herman Cain and his bevy of "beautes" continues. The media sees fit to cover every sordid detail as if this is news. How low have we sunk as a society? None of the allegations have been proven in a court of law, or even brought to a court for that matter. None of these cases have a shred of physical evidence, no photos, video tape, stained blue dresses, not even viable witnesses to these ancient events yet our media is willing to give the accusers free air time to hold news conferences that announce news conferences!  Talking heads employ utter nonsense while they cavalierly denounce Cain for his mishandling of his own defense.  It is official. The asylum is being run by the inmates.

Just a couple questions. What woman who endured the sort of assault Gloria Nocred's client claims, would not have filed charges?  Her excuse was that she was embarrassed. Give me a break. That woman never met a set of eyes or camera lens she didn't want to mug for. Embarrassed is not in her arsenal.  There are women who may well be scared and intimidated by such an incident but that broad is not of that tribe. My favorite part of her story was when she proclaimed, "you know I have a boyfriend." as if this is why pulling her head toward his crotch is "wrong". Oh, you have a boyfriend. Then I won't force you into fallacio. This is classic crap.

Let's join the fantasy and believe she was really shy back then but since has matured and "grown a pair". Why would she wait until Cain posed a threat in the presidential race to join forces with Gloria Nocred? Why wouldn't she make these statements the minute Cain announced his intentions to run if the truth were what she sincerely sought? She is donning the cloak of courageous victim. Methinks she's nothing more than a foolish tool willing to sell her soul to the highest bidder. That's the impression I got from her act.

As for the latest dame to go public from the NRA, that one defies logic. And is hilarious if it weren't so sad. She claims Herman sexually harassed her multiple times. There are wild imaginations and then there's just insanity. What man with two eyes would look at that pinch faced shrew and even subconsciously have a sexual thought? That poor creature is dreaming if she believes she has that sort of arousal power over the opposite sex. I know, that's mean but could we for once deal in facts that we can all see rather than the fantasy of agenda driven, axe grinding, bitter little people?

In a fair world I'd like to examine in minute detail, the lives of every newscaster, every political pundit, every lawyer and especially each of these accusers and see what interesting tidbits those investigations reveal. Actually, I could care less what these twits have done in their lives but I just wish the adults would step up in the media and pull the plug on this madness. If Cain did do this, let facts be brought. If not, stop wasting the public's time with this concocted soap opera.

Will Cain be slain by these poisonous feckless, fact-less harpies? All I have to say for our country is this...More Feign, More Pain, No Cain, No Gain.

Joe Biden is Anti-Rape and Murder but Pro-Dependency

How brave and courageous is Joe Biden? I think most breathing people will agree, Joe Biden flirts with the line between fool and buffoon on a daily basis but this latest riff connecting the lack of Republican support for Obama's new spending spree to a rise in rape and murder is simply assinine.

This is the tired lie of the left, to say government agencies will solve the ills of society. The left floats the fairytale that the bigger the government, the better, safer, happier your life will be. The truth is, just the opposite is the result of big government but the Joe Bidens of the world would never let on to this. Big government does one main thing, it removes the responsibility for self and shifts it to a faceless, mindless entity. This entity has no personal connection or concern for the individual other than needing the votes of these multitude of dependents to retain big government's power and to continue to grow in it's inefficency and moral void. Spoiler alert, this strategy does not end well for "the individual" or "the people".

The welfare rolls and entitlement programs have grown exponentially under Obama/Biden which is a more valid connection to rising crime rates than lack of police presence yet Biden blames Republicans for the rise in crime. When a person is stripped of personal responsibility, handed the necessities of life and told the government can do for them what they are not equipped and never will be equipped to do for themselves, that in itself is a death sentence to a soul. When "stuff" is handed to anyone with no expectation of repayment, there is something vital that dies within.  As handouts become the norm, the end result is a person robbed of dignity poised to rob others in return.

In contrast, when a person, not government, helps out another person, somewhere down the line, the person initially helped feels obligated to return the favor. When the favor is repaid, the person retains their dignity and feels empowered. This basic human exchange is lost whenever government steps in as the broker.

Let's pretend for a moment that more money for more police would solve the crime problem. I would have no problem with government funding this however, the reality is our government takes our money and uses it for unwarranted, unrealistic, unworthy things. Time and time again we hear of millions if not billions of American tax dollars squandered, wasted and yes, stolen by our government. This is why I do not trust government to use my tax money to improve society. The track record cannot be denied. One word, Solyndra.

However, back to Joe's argument for Obama's "Job Bill", it's this spending mentaily which enables the broken system of dependency to continue. This is the cause of rising crime rates, not the lack of police funding. Through the deceitfulness of a Socialist-style regime, more people are being enslaved into the "Hope and Change" of the Hopelessnes of one's abilities and Chains of permanent dependency.

If Joe Biden was genuinely serious about bringing the crime rate down he would be honest with the people he claims to want to protect. He would tell them the truth, that government does not make them better, safer or happier. He would clue them into the secret that their own God-given talents and sheer determination will serve them and lift them up more readily than government ever could. He would tell them that their neighbor is more dependable than the government and if your neighbor helps you, you are to return in kind. He would tell them that no system is perfect and unfortunate things do happen in every human-run society. Government is not all powerful, never will be and never should be depended on to make all things fair. Every Socialist experiment proves this out.

The left is interested in one thing, controlling the masses and keeping the most amount of people under a blanket of dependency of sub-par neccessities. No where in the world has the left been successful in lifting vast numbers of people out of poverty but the left does a marvelous job of keeping everyone equally poor and miserable. Though the message of the left feigns fairness, since when is lack of self-determination and self-responsibility fair?

Fact, the largest percentage of people live above poverty levels in a Capitalist society than in any other societal structure the world has ever experienced. Fact, cronism exists in Capitalism which is unfair but it is light lunch compared to the cronism existing in the Communist and even Socialist systems of the world.

At the end of the day, Joe's outrage at the Republicans is farcical.  The rapists and the murders are not swayed by a couple of dollars thrown at a police department. They are swayed by bringing them up in a society that holds them responsible for their own livelihood, that retains their dignity of self, that expects greater things of them than a Socialist/Communist government expects of them. Socialism/Communism has no faith in the human being's ability to do for self and reminds said human being of this on a daily basis. Joe may rail against rape and murder but pushing the dependency on the drug of big government upon the masses, for him, is no crime.

Careful Joe, whom you condemn. At this point your ticket needs every vote it can get. With rants like your latest, the future rapists and murderers may stay home instead of voting this next go 'round.

Weiner's Weiner Is Not The Problem

Anthony Weiner has issues with his weiner but his real problem is not sex, his problem is with power. The level of arrogance and hubris with which he first denied then, via pressure, admitted the acts he performed, is not simply a personal sexual matter between consensual adults as some MSM outlets are spinning. These acts absolutely reach into his political decision making.

First, Weiner had no regard for the actual age of the "women" he was engaging. Weiner is a cosmopolitan person, not some guy in his mother's basement blogging in Lower Slobovia. He knows full well people can be ANY age on the Internet yet the risk of sexting to a minor was not Weiner's concern. In fact, at least two of the known women were young enough to be his daughter. Not a crime, true, but underscores his lack of concern for decency.

As a Congressman of the United States, Weiner's fleeting satisfaction was all that mattered as he sexted away. He did not even care that he put his political office in jeopardy of blackmail. How can Congress not find this recklessness a danger to our country? Weiner is a man drunk with power. This is a man who can not control himself on the most basic of levels.

Weiner is a United States Congressman willing to falsely accuse a citizen of the crime of hacking instead of owning up to his own filth. If this is how Anthony Weiner handles his "personal junk" how in the world can he be trusted to handle the business of the country?

What is most disappointing is Weiner's utter lack of dignity. He hides behind his delusion of being irreplaceable to the people of his district rather than taking responsibility for his vast character flaw. To truly address his addiction, lack of self-control, lack of self-respect, obsession with body parts and power, he needs to remove himself from public life and get professional help. That would be the action of a person sincere about changing. Weiner is not sincere about changing.

Anthony Weiner remaining in office is the worst thing for the country, his district, his wife and himself. Anthony Weiner is a power junkie. Until he is separated from his demon, power, he will never be true to himself or his constituents. Short of that, Weiner remains whacked.

Morals According To Lefty Liberals

Just a few weeks ago I watched a video on YouTube of a large gathering of White Feminists cheering, applauding, screeching with pride the fact that they had ended unwanted pregnancies by ripping a fetus from their womb. The American Left not only condones these rallies and celebrations, they want taxpayers to fund such practices. Make no mention of the fact that the unwanted pregnancies of these "educated, progressive, intellectual" females resulted from UNPROTECTED SEX which they so "smartly" engaged in and intend to do so again and again. Ah, the dignity in that. How far the liberated woman has come! As a white educated woman myself, I watched this video and wanted to puke. These idiots have twisted the act of sex into some false expression of power, not love, power and take the perverted logic further by saying the destruction of their own progeny is a wonderful thing. This is beyond pathetic, it is the reality of women's identity hitting rock bottom.

Fast forward to today, May, 2011. Our liberal president made a good call and ordered the elimination of a thoroughly evil human, Osama bin Laden. True, at one time, Osama was an innocent in his mother's womb but he, unlike the babies aborted, got the chance to enact his free will. Sadly, his free will resulted in the deaths of thousands across the globe. This little fact rendered his innocence invalid long ago. Yet when Americans gather together and cheer this monster's demise, the American Left is outraged.

Allow me to get this straight...an organized gathering of educated white women, bellowing with a bullhorn, their pride over the accomplishment of the dissection of their fetus is the type of public display championed by the Left. However, a mixed-race, mix-gendered, spontaneous crowd in Times Square, emoting joy over the death of a mass murdering coward is deemed disgusting, barbaric, VERBOTEN to the evolved sensibilities of the Left.

Oh, I get it now. It's all about tenure! Osama had it, babies, not. Gotta love those unions.

Chris Christie Is Not Ready To Be President

Chris Christie is absolutely right. He is not ready to be President of the United States nor will he be ready come 2012. The fact of the matter is, there is not a human being walking the face of the earth who is READY to be the President of the United States, including Barack Obama. The world we find ourselves in is perhaps the most dangerous, threatening, fragile circumstance human beings have ever faced. This is uncharted territory. The skill set needed to navigate it successfully is not clear.

Currently our country is teetering on the edge of a deadly abyss. Judging from the direction our current administration is headed, we will have stepped off the edge and be in full free fall by the year 2012. Christie knows this. Of course he is not ready to lead a country in mid plummet. No human being is or will be.

I liken the role of President of the United States in this era of history to be the same of that as a person with a deadly illness. Who among us is ready to hear the sentence, "you have cancer"? Humans are never ready for trials of this magnitude but some humans have the grit to take on the trials. Some do not. Some actually feed the diseases they are tasked to defeat.

I see Chris Christie as a man with a multitude of grit. I believe if there is anyone who is able to grow wings from that grit and fly US back up to safety, able to restore America's emotional, fiscal and social stability, it is Chris Christie.

True, he, like any human, is not ready for such unknowns. He is, however, able. The only real question that must be answered and the one that so often is the key to the survival of a cancer patient...is he willing? Is Chris Christie willing to battle the cancer? Is Chris Christie willing to be President of the United States of America?

A Letter to an Archbishop in Wisconsin

This Sunday, February 27th, my Catholic parish in Virginia added an insert into our Mass Bulletin. It was a copy of a statement put out by a Catholic Archbishop in Wisconsin addressing the Wisconsin Catholic Conference. I do not know if the Archbishop asked to have this statement put into the Mass Bulletins in a parish in Virginia but regardless, we got the memo. It can be read in full here...

After reading the statement twice, probably three times I was motivated to write the following email to the Archbishop.

Dear Archbishop Listecki,

I am contacting you in regards to a letter you wrote which our parish included in this Sunday's bulletin. The letter was referenced as a Statement Regarding the Rights of Workers and the Value of Unions. I read the letter and found myself upset. My first reaction was to disagree that this politically charged topic should be foisted upon parishioners in relation to attending Mass. I was taught that one is to attend Mass for the sole purpose of giving full attention to God, to leave the scenarios of this world which are fleeting, to fully focus on what is eternal. To be greeted with a letter from an Archbishop calling Catholics to defend workers and unions, a topic we are all bombarded with at all hours of the day on television and in print, was an intrusion on God's time, in my opinion. I do not know if you asked for the letter to be put in the bulletin or not, but that is what happened. I found it inappropriate.

I took another breath and read the letter again. Though I completely agree with your final sentiment, "to move beyond divisive words and actions and work together", the insinuation that Wisconsin teachers are in danger of being marginalized or dismissed is misleading. From all that I have read, the terms being promoted by Governor Walker and eventually voted on in the Wisconsin legislature are terms more than 20 states now have in place for their unions. There is nothing being asked of Wisconsin teachers that others haven't been already doing for some time. I will admit, I am not a Wisconsin teacher, I have no connection to that union or any teachers union but I do come from a Catholic family of union roots. My grandfather was an electrician in the Washington, DC area. He came up as a union man and rose through the ranks. He eventually owned the largest Electrical Contracting business in the D.C. area. His union shop did all of the wiring for the White House, the Pentagon, the Capitol, and most Federal Buildings in DC. However, living in Virginia, a right to work state, he, in addition to his union shop, opened a non-union shop as well.

Though he'd always been a union man coming up, the vast difference in how a union vs non-union business operated facilitated a change in his perspective. He realized non-union employees fared better in the long run for the individual employee. The union shops had a monopoly on government work which was lucrative however, the rules and wages (after dues) made the union jobs much less attractive. He related stories of the immense pressure unions would bring upon the members, employing strong arm tactics and asking actions from workers that were less than moral. For a Catholic or any Christian to be asked to do some of these things for the good of the union can really take a toll on a person. He made it clear to all of us in the family that the unions were out for the union bosses not necessarily for the actual individual workers, though that is the unions stated reason to exist. The message I heard growing up was to avoid being a union worker, be an employee in a private business. Employees have their individual dignity and play a much bigger role in their own fate, union workers follow union rules and are at the mercy of the union bosses.

Please understand, I do not see the role of unions as inherently bad. I agree with Pope Benedict's statement which you included in your letter, regarding the importance of solidarity and protection of workers rights that unions provide. In a country like China, North Korea or even India where workers are abused, the role of unions is something we should all work to promote and bring about. What I do not agree with are tactics being employed by American union members such as disseminating the names of Governor Walker's children and their schools with a plan to protest at those schools, using children as the props. I have a hard time supporting the practice of teachers caught on video lying about being sick in order to collect a days wages while they "defend their rights". What about the parents who had to stay home from work to watch their child who could not go to school due to the teachers mass sickness? Did that parent have to lie as well in order not to lose a days wages or did they stay home, choosing not to lie about being sick and instead losing pay for that day? What lessons are we teaching the young through these tactics?

I've seen union members physically assaulting news reporters on live television, threatening a reporter with severe bodily harm simply because the reporter is there from a network the unions are not controlling the message of. I've seen Communist Workers Party banners at the Wisconsin protests standing in solidarity with Wisconsin teachers. Archbishop, I've been to Russia, I've seen what the Communist Party did to that culture, not to mention what Communism did to Catholicism. If the Wisconsin Teachers are finding themselves aligned with Communist Workers, there's a problem there.

All these tactics and alliances are straight from the playbook my grandfather talked about regarding the D.C. Electricians Union. The similarities of what Electrician Union workers were asked to do in bargaining situations were very similar to what I see happening in Wisconsin. This is beyond troubling. We as Christians support the right of these unions to associate, organize and bargain their wages (all of which would continue under Governor Walker's plan) but to use the moral concept of unions to then employ tactics that are amoral does not fly. Hiding behind a moral right while committing moral wrongs is not a cause I will ever support. As for the stance against, collective bargaining, that falls into the same logic for Anti-Trust laws. Collective bargaining, especially for civil servant jobs, is wrong on a multitude of levels. Collective bargaining enables unions to hold an entire segment of society hostage unless demands are met. This is not fair nor just tactics for the common good, in my opinion.

I appreciate the fact that you are there in the midst. You know the Wisconsin union members probably by name and hear their side clearest of all. I am glad workers have an advocate such as you. However, since your letter asks us all to evaluate the lawmakers proposal in terms of its impact on the common good, I too would first want to have the facts and figures regarding the amount of money the Wisconsin Teachers Union has given to lawmakers, specifically which lawmakers. I would like to know the terms of Wisconsin teachers current pension plans and be able to compare them to union pension plans in states that have gotten their fiscal house in better order. I would like to see the test scores of Wisconsin students and be able to compare them to states that may not provide as lucrative pension packages to their teachers. I would hope better pension packages equates to higher test scores. If this is not the case, then pension packages need to be reduced to sane levels. I would like to know if the Wisconsin Teachers Union has a rule stating tenure trumps performance where layoffs are concerned. I would hope that a teacher who is new but has performed well for the students is kept over an older teacher whose performance is lacking. If the children are the priority, seniority/tenure should not be the deciding factor when layoffs occur. I need to know this point and more. Do public sector union members make more than private sector? Civil union members have more job security, more benefits but if they get higher wages than private sector, this is an enormous problem. This is where the political money really comes into play. The tax paying public should not be in a position of making lower wages than the public sector. This is a relationship doomed to fail.

Franklin Roosevelt warned that civil servant jobs should never be unionized but apparently we have not heeded this wise warning. Do people understand why Franklin Roosevelt said this? Do the teachers in our schools bother to educate our youth about this in our History and Civics courses? It certainly wasn't because Roosevelt was anti-union. The big picture has been lost. Reality is catching up. What was fundable before, like all ponzi schemes, is not fundable now. All of the facts must be laid out if I, or anyone else is to truly, honestly, effectively evaluate the situation as you ask.

Thank you for taking the time to read my perspective and concerns. I hold on to the final words of your letter, that we will be able "to move beyond divisive words and actions and work together..."

Will Chris Christie step up and do the right thing? Dear Lord, I hope so!

I know Christie keeps saying he is not going to run in 2012, that it's not the time for him, that he's working to fix New Jersey first, blah, blah, blah. These rationales in times of stability for an up and coming political leader would be valid but time is not on Christie's side. More importantly, time is not on America's side much less New Jersey's.

Christie said himself that "leadership is not about waiting." So why would he wait to lead his country back from the brink of disaster when he knows he has a needed plan to implement now? He continues to fall back on, "you have to feel it in your heart and mind that you're ready."

Governor Christie, may I have a word in private with you?... Chris, dude, you're sounding like a groom getting cold feet. You are ready! If you want a New Jersey to exist that you would even recognize in the next 10 years, you better snap out of it and be the man. Remember, leadership is not about waiting.

Comb your hair, straighten your bow tie and get the hell out there to the alter where you belong. America is standing at the end of the aisle waiting to walk toward you (and she ain't getting any younger).

Chris, we all heard you. There is no other way to interpret it. Your latest speech was an out and out sincere proposal to America.  A long engagement is no longer an option for the old gal and you know it.

I'm a crier, I admit it. But it could well be up to Chris Christie whether my tears are those of joy for a wedding or tears of sorrow at our country's funeral. Do the right thing, Christie.  America has picked out the dress she wants to wear for you and I assure you, it's not a black one.

Public Education Schools Me On The Art Of The Shakedown

All of my children are in Catholic schools which is my choice. I am not happy that the government uses my local and state tax dollars to fund public government-engineered education but that is the current law and so, my husband and I elect to pay extra to send our children to a school with discipline, structure, and the open discussion of God.

Recently I went to see my daughter play basketball against a local public high school team. This was on a week night, not a particularly special game, but one thing was different than any of the games I'd attended this season. For the first time I was charged ADMISSION to see a JV Girls high school game with the proceeds going to support this PUBLIC SCHOOL.

Not only did I have to pay admission but so did my other daughter who came to cheer on her sister. There was no student rate for her since she didn't attend public school (though I certainly pay taxes for her to). So now I'm in deep for two admission fees to a JV Girls basketball game. My daughter is a good player, but are you kidding me? Though $10 is not going to keep me from feeding my children this week, it's the principle behind all of this.

To add another objection to this issue, for a public school parent who may well be financially strapped, this admission fee is conceivably hindering their ability to support their child. And the public schools wonder why they have parental participation issues? This is liberal hypocrisy at work, my friends.

To give you an idea of how obscene and shiftless this scam is, one of the mothers from my daughter's team showed up to the public school game with less than TWO MINUTES left to play. She was coming from work and knew she wasn't going to see much, if any of the game but wanted to be there to pick her daughter up so her daughter wouldn't have to return to our school on the team bus. Would you believe the public school wanted to still charge this mother full admission price with less than two minutes to go in the game?

The Catholic high school that my children attend have games going on in their gym all nights of the week and weekends but never, not once, not even during Catholic schools week has admission been charged. Our school is certainly far from being flush with cash yet gouging a parent who wants to see their child play just does not seem right.

What exactly are we getting for our tax dollars? In a time when public schools are getting more funding than they ever have, they resort to parasitic tactics rather than doing what the rest of us do, live within our means. What exactly are these public schools doing with the gobs of money they receive? The gym that I paid $10 to sit in was filthy, and the restrooms could only be described as the Black Hole of Calcutta.

When are we all going to wake up and realize our government is committing grand larceny on We The People? The test score standings in our public schools are horrendous but we pay more. The ideology that is spoon fed to our youth in these institutions borders on intellectual perversion and we pay more. Not all but in far too many of the public schools, students are in physical danger on a daily basis with metal detectors and guards walking the halls, yet we pay more to enable these sorts of environments to continue?

Government has NO BUSINESS in the education of our youth. They've had their chance for several decades. The product they provide simply sucks. We pay more and get less. What is the government's solution? For selfish citizens to give more money to the very people who have mucked this up in the first place? Come on!

Americans, we must take back our schools. When a public school with steady streams of public funds sees fit to charge parents admission to an ordinary sporting event while a privately funded financially lean school doesn't, something stinks in Denmark and it's not the gym socks.

What's In A Name?

Following my recent posting entertaining the idea of Donald Trump as America's next president, I had an interesting conversation with my mother. I had not gotten her take on "The Donald" before my post but was pleased that her sense of him was the same as mine.

For anyone who knows my mother, she has been, is, and will always be a person who shoots from the hip. 99.999% of the time I've found her instincts about people to be dead on (at times, to my dismay).

She had thought through the Donald Trump notion to the point of already picking his perfect running mate, that being Col. Allen West, Florida's new Republican Congressman from the 22nd district. My mom made the case why West would be the ultimate compliment to Trump with West's stellar military service and calm, easy confidence that only a first rate military man is graced with. The gravitas of this combination would be overwhelming.

The more I thought of this ticket, the more I too believed in it's brilliance. A Donald Trump/Allen West ticket would reduce an Obama/Biden ticket to little more than Tweedles Dee&Dumber.  The final selling point for me came when I looked up the meaning of both men's names. Having a brother named "Donald" I was aware of it meaning "great chief". The word "trump" in the dictionary had several variances of meanings all denoting a win with a trump along with one definition stating trump being a dependable and exemplary person. So far, so good.

Upon looking up the name "Allen", it too was promising with the simple but poetic meaning of "ROCK".  "West" seemed obvious with it's directional relation to America being the epitome of all things "west" however a certain definition amongst the directional citings jumped out at me. The definition stated "west" as meaning the noncommunist countries of Europe and America. I suppose I always assumed that when the term "west" is used but the fact "noncommunist" is specifically used has greater weight in this "progressive" climate of "change" more than ever. Further down, "west" also relates to the liturgies of or relating to the Roman Catholic or Protestant segment of Christianity. Coincidence? That's for Republicans to pick and America to decide.

If there's truth in a name, and Republicans choose two men to run in 2012, one who is a GREAT dependable CHIEF capable of winning over any card played matched with a ROCK that exemplifies all things noncommunist, the Republicans will take the White House and America will take a huge sigh of relief as she is released from the shackles of progressive bondage and restored to being the country where men live the bold ideals of self-responsibility and self-determination once again.

Why America Should Consider Playing the TRUMP Card

Donald Trump spoke at CPAC this week and made a splash. That's not a surprise. Trump wouldn't do anything unless it was going to make headlines.  Three years ago, I would have scoffed at the thought of Donald Trump being considered elected to any office, much less President. But in the last two years so many unthinkables have happened in America, the notion of a President Trump seems almost mundane.

Never did I think America would be laughed at. Hated, sure but never laughed at. The world is playing us for fools and all we seem to be doing is begging for more abuse. Our current leadership is taking us down a path that could permanently eradicate the American ideals of individual's rights and liberties.

We "free people" enjoy a mandate for health insurance whether we need it, want it, can afford it. TSA employees now legally grope honest citizens at will. Black panthers harass people at polling stations with no consequences and border guards are jailed for roughing up a drug smuggling illegal thug.  A prohibition on one type of light bulb goes into effect while a toxic, dangerous, mercury laden green variety gets forced into American homes. Of course, technically you still have a choice...candles. It's good to be free.

To undo all of the damage Obama and the socialist agenda of the last 50 years has done to our country, we need a person of vast experience and zero reason to be a politician. Enter stage right, Donald Trump.

Though I don't think Trump is a staunch conservative across the board, he is fiscally.  This is key since there is one aspect that needs to be addressed now or better, yesterday. As Clinton said, "It's the economy, stupid!" As opposed to Obama's more modern liberal, social justice cry of, "It's the stupid economy!"

Trump knows what to do to resuscitate this gasping free market. He would put us back in control of the China trade relationship by taxing Chinese goods until they fairly regulated their currency. He'd open up our country's natural oil and gas reserves causing an instant job boom as well as putting OPEC on notice. He would keep taxes low and ease corporate regulations allowing profits to rise and jobs created.

But not all is perfect regarding the Donald.

There are a few things that bug me about Trump:

His cotton candy comb-over
His brash egotistical manner
His insistence that he is always right

Here's what I like about Trump:

His insistence that he is always right...and because of it he will not bend to China, Iran, Korea or any other dictator scum

Several things about Donald Trump are an absolute given. Donald Trump will not let anything he's associated with financially fail. He is shrewd, worldly, and determined. If he is elected President he would never bow to another leader or apologize for America's ways. He would bring glory back to these United States. Trump will tell us the hard truths of what has to be done without concern about being re-elected.

Donald Trump does not have my vote yet but he's made me consider it, cotton candy comb-over and all. Besides, he's really the only possible candidate who could legitimately turn to Barack Obama and say, "You're fired."

By the way, Trump is right. Ron Paul could never get elected.

Chick-Fil-A...Anti-Gay? Or "Cheep" Leftist Play?

There is an effort in the leftist circles to make trouble for the successful fast food outfit, Chick-Fil-A. Apparently this company, a private enterprise in the United States of America, is brash enough to promote, of all things, CHRISTIAN VALUES! And it gets worse. One franchise went so far to DONATE some chicken sandwiches to a PRO-FAMILY organization! This must be STOPPED...according to the socialist, atheist, sniveling cowards on the left.

On a daily, perhaps hourly basis, Americans are bombarded with media messages that glorify the gay lifestyle, presenting it as pervasive and as common place as a straight existence.  The gay lifestyle is by far the minority practice of sexual orientation but that fact is buried by what is seen and read in the American media.

Ironically, if a person or business has a Christian, Pro-Traditional values bent, THEY are marginalized. They are played as the oddball, out-of-step, backward thinking tool.  The American media spin presents Christian values as a small fringe group who are the minority that SHOULD be condemned.

If a private organization like Disney can have "Gay Days" in their parks (which is their right) then a private company like Chick-Fil-A should be just as welcome to promote Christian values and give free sandwiches, corporate sponsorship or scholarships to whomever they chose. When Disney promotes a day for gay people, that does not equate them to being anti-heterosexual, does it?

Chick-Fil-A can promote Christian values and has the freedom to support traditional groups who champion a mother/father family unit WITHOUT being Anti-Gay. Why does the left want to conflate support of tradition as proof of discrimination against gays? Methinks the left can not win if they have to face honest examples of lifestyle choices. The left feigns open-mindedness while in fact being the most suppressive, one-mind, movement there is.

Chick-Fil-A is not a Government agency and has the legal right to be selective where their profits go. Their corporate tax dollars are SURELY going to fund things the company would probably never support like Planned Parenthood but that's the law regarding tax dollars. From what I know, Chick-Fil-A pays their taxes.

The left is against all Government funding of organizations that hold Christian beliefs but if the worship is the religion of secularism, in the world of the hypocritical left, that's okay to take peoples tax money to fund.  For pimps and under aged prostitutes, the left offers helpful advice to continue operation. Protection of minors at the hands of pedophiles?  Not so much.

The left can squawk all they want against Chick-Fil-A and companies like them but it would be nice if reality were used in their complaints. My first request would be for the left to make up their minds! Are they pro-gay or pro-Islamist extremists? The same left wing activist can be read or heard within the same day backing both causes.

Hello! The two can not be supported by the same person with any amount of intellectual honesty or mental stability. What's next, a ban on all B-B-Q joints since they discriminate against Muslims by daring to serve PORK?  This is why I question what is REALLY at the heart of the Left's duplicitous "support" for gays, Islamist extremists, stealth abortion outfits (where minority girls and babies are the number one clients). But remember, the left is always working for the benefit of minorities and women. NOT!

The only thing that is clear is the fact the left is deathly afraid of the Christian message. The left knows as long as a Christian mindset exists to the level it does now, they will never control the masses like the cattle they imagine the masses to be. The left knows that no matter how cool and slick they package their agenda, the juxtaposition of a leftist role model such as Hugo Chavez, Barney Frank, Cindy Sheehan or any of the Hollywood train wrecks du jour, against the lives led by people such as the golfer, David Feherty, actor, Gary Sinise, Florida Congressman, Allen West or South Dakota Congresswoman, Kristi Noem, is a no-win for the left.

Many more people, not all, but a considerable majority of Americans would chose to be like the later than the former. Of course, there are plenty of "Christians" in the public eye who are not so admirable but they are either phonies using the cache of Christian to make money or honest Christians who are struggling with their personal demons (who isn't?) as a celebrity for all to see.

At the end of the day, the left is free to be WRONG when they paint Chick-Fil-A as Anti-Gay. Being wrong is not a crime.  Most Americans know that being for Christian values does not equal discrimination against Gays just as pro-Gay action should not be viewed as Anti-Traditional Family. Let the cases for all stances be honestly presented. Free-thinking people will make their own determinations from the facts.

As for me, all this has made me hungry.  Chicken sandwich here I come! Of course, if I discover any of the chickens used to make the sandwiches were actually lesbian chickens, I may have to re-evaluate this whole argument. Cluck off!

The Bait (and Switch) of the Union

Allow me to begin on a positive note: the intermingling of D's and R's in the audience was a very good idea. It cut way down on the annoying clapping, both in the number of interruptions as well as length of clamor. No matter what party is in office, that clapping stuff sucks. So, on that point, last night's SOTU address got a thumbs up from me.

Now to the speech itself. I found Obama's address to be one of two things, delusional or deceptive. Logic and intellectual honesty were given the night off while he spoke. Obama framed his vision with the rhetoric of American ingenuity, productivity, invention, the concept of achievement of any individuals dream being possible here in America, unlike any other country on earth. What American doesn't support these ideals?

Obama, however, employed these inspiring words (in Reaganesque fashion) to conversely make the argument for BIGGER Government, MORE tax dollar spending, LESS personal choice (ala Jimmy Carter). With not much stealth, he uses code words to describe these actions, ie, protection of the public equals BIGGER Government, investment equals tax dollar spending or worse borrowed Chinese money, alternative energy sources equals less personal choice and forced higher prices to heat homes, drive cars, buy groceries, turn the lights on. What American DOES support these ideals?

With all of Obama's clever wording, he still came off like an alcoholic justifying that next round of mixed drinks for himself and EVERYONE in the house. He pretends that substituting a yummier cocktail of peach schnapps and vodka for the much harder to swallow scotch, neat, as addressing the addiction problem.  Mr. President, a pay freeze at the obscene levels you've already raised them to is NOT a solution to the addiction problem of Government spending. Obama's ploy is clear. If the addict can get us all hooked then he no longer has to deal with roadblocks to his and now our shared poison.

Obama is not to blame for our addictions to entitlements, pensions and the fairytale of a Government who takes care of us in the most excellent manner. Bush, Clinton, even Reagan had a hand, to differing degrees, in creating this crippling addictive scenario as well as presidents going back as far as Woodrow Wilson. Obama has only taken the role of Pusher to an exponentially outrageous level at possibly the most dangerous time in history to do such.

Our president tells us all to go for the American dream, be entrepreneurs, innovate yet turns around and suggests millionaires should cough up the funds to "save our schools". With logic like that, who wants to EVER achieve millionaire status if it means you are to be painted as the evil success story, responsible for the poor staying poor?

No, it's GOVERNMENT that has robbed us all blind, kept the poor, poor, that enabled Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to pull off fraud so insipid, even the U.N. would blush. Did you know we TAX PAYERS are paying the legal fees to DEFEND the Fannie and Freddie Executives who defrauded...we, the tax payers? How dumb do they think we are? Maybe they're banking on the fact we were educated by the U.S. Government public school system that now needs evil millionaires to save it.

The Government has mis-managed our schools, not millionaires. It is the GOVERNMENT who has taken power away from parents and communities, turning our educational institutions into high priced day care centers where socialist theory is the only point of view presented. We don't need any regulations to protect the people from big business, it's our GOVERNMENT and their mind-numbing "free education" we need protection from. Even Obama wouldn't dare subject his daughters to the Government controlled education he pushes on the rest of us. The Government needs the reigning in, not free enterprise, not capitalism or successful individuals.

Obama spoke of creating jobs, cutting pork, transparency in Government as if he just came up with these ideas last night. Excuse me Mr. President but you promised all these things over two years ago but did just the opposite. The stimulus was a fiasco. Billions still sit, not funding anything, creating zero jobs yet our debt rises.

Cutting pork was not accomplished when Obama signed the Health care legislation, laden with very expensive, unnecessary, untraceable streams of waste, setting up state budgets to fail in the funding of these programs and our debt rises.

Transparency occurs in this administration only after the fact.  Perhaps on this item Obama is being honest because he said on the new website we will be able to see where all the tax dollars are going, not where they are proposed to go.  Providing transparency ahead of time is never good in socialist societies. That might give the people the ability to disagree and stop wasteful spending before it happens. And our debt rises.

I had to hold back laughter when he went into the whole SPUTNIK riff. He wants us to "do big things" like mind blowing advancements such as solar roof tiles, toxic mercury light bulbs, high speed trains (that can't ever be go over 70 mph due to the other train traffic on the rails but why bother with that little factoid) all the while he guts NASA, the very agency capable of "big things"... instead turning them into an agency assigned to promote Muslim self-esteem. Big things? Did Obama's literature teacher EVER explain the term irony to him? Just asking.

Obama used all the right words to mean all the wrong things. If he had started out saying, "Hello, I am Barack Obama, and I am a spendaholic, Fabian socialist, narcissistic front man", then, then I might have believed the rest of his long-winded pontification. Delusion or deceit. Which is it?

But again, that seating idea was really good.

Diamonds Are Forever

I had a very interesting conversation with my teenagers recently. We were talking about how so many people who call themselves conservative or liberal or Christian, Muslim, etc. will profess the high ideals of their group yet turn around and live their own lives with disregard, even contempt for the ideals they publicly profess. This being so often the case, why should we believe, support, live by any doctrine whatsoever? Why not live each moment of life in a way that benefits a person the most personally rather than ever making a choice of morals over what results in immediate satisfaction or individual success? Why shouldn't we all be hedonists? At least we'd cease being hypocrites, right?

As a person who approaches life similar to a Libertarian philosophy, live and let live, I don't have a problem with any person choosing to be a hedonist. However, of the hedonists I've known, all resulted in self-destructive behaviors that did not end well for the hedonist nor those who surrounded them. So the question goes back to why do so many high-profile people profess the moral attributes of their group yet don't live their own lives as such? Does this mean the morals, beliefs and philosophies are false, pretend, worthless?

These are the questions we must all answer for ourselves. Most people attempt to find out the answers but make their first mistake when they begin their investigation by looking at those claiming to be the personification of the mindset. Many people investigating a particular mindset will judge the mindset, philosophy, belief, strictly by the actions of an individual rather than the substance of the thought.

Here's the metaphor I used with my children...If there exists a truly brilliant, flawless diamond and it is worn by a good person, does the good person make that diamond more precious? If the good person dies and the diamond is then worm by an evil person, does that evil person make the diamond less precious? The wearer of the diamond is not the point. The diamond was precious and brilliant before anyone wore it, good or bad and it remains the same diamond after the wearing is long over.

Further, does the diamond hold powers for the person who wears it? Ironically, the wearer or possessor of the diamond is the one least likely to benefit from its true worth. People often have the misconception that possessing something, like the flawless diamond, translates into their own superiority, their right or justification to control the lives of others. If that is the motive behind wearing the diamond, it will never truly serve the person who wears it. The power of the diamond is in the pure inspiration and appreciation of its beauty which the diamond alone possesses, not the wearer. Those who can witness the diamond, regardless of who is wearing it, and be awed by its brilliance, be inspired by its clarity but have the SELF control to NOT need to possess it or fawn over the person who currently wears it, these are the people who actually receive the precious gift the diamond offers.

Every now and then, there is a person who can wear the diamond with the true knowledge of why they are wearing it... not to enhance their own power but to provide more access to more people to witness the beauty and inspiration of the diamond. These wearers are called LEADERS.

Sadly, we have many, many more people today wearing the diamond as a means to dupe the ignorant innocent. Conflation of possession with authority over all those not in possession is the lie peddled now as it has been in times infinitum. These sort of wearers are called TYRANTS, DICTATORS, and an array of other titles that sound nicer but result in the same thing. These are the people who have never received the gift of SELF CONTROL. They are so lacking in SELF CONTROL that they become ravenous for the much easier false substitute, that being the perceived control over another human. Ironically, the more people they "control" the less satisfied the controllers become. Why? Because the control they have is imaginary and deep down, they know this. Talk about a vicious circle!

Crazy as it sounds, throngs of people believe in the lie that whomever wears the diamond IS superior. These people willingly submit themselves to the servitude of these egotistical scam artists with the hopes of falling into favor with the wearer, FALLING being the operative word. Unfortunately, there are also souls who unwillingly fall under the false control of diamond wearing scum. These victims become servants to the control freaks due to a host of reasons, i.e., lack of maturity, lack of access to the truth, lack of intelligence, to name a few. They do not know that there is only ONE type of actual control, that being self-control. All other forms of control are artificial. As long as a person retains their mind, they retain the prize their false masters truly want. A person's mind can only be controlled with the consent of the individual. Never forget that.

At the end of the day, each of us must use our own mind to look past the wearer of the diamond and examine the DIAMOND for its cut, clarity, carat, brilliance and authenticity.

NOTE: There's loads of cubic zirconium out there so take your time examining!

We must each decide for ourselves if we are inspired by a diamond's natural beauty, a beauty that existed before it was ever worn and will exist well after the last wearer takes their final breath. We are all free to look for the diamond, not to possess it necessarily but to behold it and accept its true gift...or reject it. Regardless of your individual choice, diamonds are forever, leaders and tyrants are not.

Is Obama A Fairy Godmother Or Fairy Hitman?

And with a swoosh of his magic wand-pen, all people can FINALLY execute their military missions without the huge burden of maintaining personal privacy. Thank you Fairy GodObama. This is such a milestone for humanity. To think how improved military missions will be now that people can openly proclaim their preferences of penile insertion and vaginal stimulation. AWESOME and oh so important to the job of defending our country.

I shake my head at this high school drama playing out before me. Are adults in our society so desperate for affirmation that they will settle for some piece of paper decreeing their personal lives are valid and worthy of announcing such to the immediate world?  Next thing you know, Michelle Obama will tell us that as First Lady, she feels she can only fulfill her duties by letting us all know she prefers bedding Obama on top with arugula on the side. Since when exactly did a person's private sex acts define their ability to be a soldier, a teacher, a Senator, a First Lady?

The juvenile rationale for this whole crap about serving openly gay is almost laughable if it weren't so serious for a myriad of reasons.  First and foremost, where does being openly gay fit within a combat setting, on foreign soil where civil rights are non-existent? When the first openly gay soldier is taken prisoner and asked if he is a homosexual, will he be copping to the classification of "gay and proud" then?

The reality is, no openly gay personnel will be assigned to combat.  That deal was worked out long ago. However, the fact remains, for our enemy, whether gays in the military are in battle or behind a desk is irrelevant and serves yet as another tool for them in recruiting young Islamist followers in their cause against the GREAT SATAN. Already the Islamist websites are using acceptance of gays in our military to point out America's debauchery, lack of God's law and poisoned culture that must be defeated at all costs.

What sort of cultural victory has the repeal of DADT truly resulted in? If the defining aspect of a person and their ability to pursue their career hinges on everyone's knowledge regarding the way they achieve the momentary effect of an orgasm, I suggest that individual has not emotionally matured past adolescence and shouldn't be driving a bus let alone wielding a firearm in combat.

Much like the teens on Facebook who document every moment of their lives by tweets, profile updates and instant uploads of digital pictures featuring important subjects like picking their noses and feces shaped like Italy, the willingness to relinquish all personal privacy to the world is stunning.

One has to wonder why the government is so keen on folks openly admitting their sexual practices?  Are the Socialists in our government, the people bent on a Utopian society, truly interested in promoting the validity of a gay lifestyle or is this some other means to a yet undefined end? In all of the socialist, nationalist societies prior to Obama, the weeding out of deviants and the less productive members of the regimes own ranks were the first order of business upon coming to power.

Could all this celebration of "sexual transparency" be just a tool to identify the "problems" within their ranks at a later date? This is exactly what happened in Russia. Homosexuality was decriminalized after the fall of the Czar only to be RE-criminalized under Joseph Stalin who also saw to it that abortion was criminalized as well. Stalin said homosexuality was a far-right conspiracy even though the Communist Revolution "supported" homosexual rights in the beginning. The sentence for having same-sex relations under Stalin was hard labor of at least 5 years. These laws stayed on the books in Russia until the fall of the USSR. And the dude hanging on Obama's Christmas tree, sweet, kind, old Mao Tse Tung wasn't a big fan of same-sex stuff either.

So as the gays in the military celebrate their new found public persona, I caution all about your Fairy Godmother. This may be trite, but it is a saying that too often is right...Be Careful What You Wish For. And even more careful whom it is granting it.

Being Openly Gay In The Military Does Not Equal Being Happy

Keeping up with liberal societal demands and politically correct mores is so difficult. Women in the military are not to be distinguished as "female" soldiers. They put their lives on the line just like their male counterparts and want to be addressed simply as "soldier", no gender recognition, please! But if you are sexually attracted to your own gender then by all means, scream it from the rooftops...Gay soldier, gay soldier, gay soldier... at ease, Ms. Thing.

This whole false issue regarding gays in the military is not about fairness. It is about diluting the effectiveness of our National Defense. The left lives in the strangest world where constant self-contradictions really don't matter. For instance, the left has professors in college classrooms declaring the power of human sexuality, how its effects on our actions and focus are overwhelming and most importantly, involuntary.

I once had a professor show the class a still shot of an attractive girl just sitting there expressionless. He asked students in the room to raise their hands if they found her physically pleasing. Everyone, male and female, raised their hands.  Then he asked if anyone was sexually aroused. One guy's hand shot up to a roar of laughter.

Next he showed a video of the same girl simply brushing her hair. She was not doing it in any sort of seductive manner. Her expression remained neutral as she simply sat there brushing her long dark hair. The professor asked if anyone now was sexually aroused. Several male students hesitantly raised their hands. The video went from the girl with a neutral expression to the girl smiling as she brushed her hair. More hands went up, including the professor's!

He apologized for only stimulating the male segment of the class but his point was that the physical reactions to human sexual attraction are totally involuntary, proving the reason why sex sells.  Sexual attraction captivates your attention and takes you to another part of your brain without any effort or control on your part.

Before that experience I didn't KNOW males could be aroused by something as mundane as brushing my hair. I will admit after that I never brushed my hair in public again. The mere thought of some strange man having an involuntary sexual response to a non-sexual action truly grossed me out as a young woman. Now I just laugh at how easily distracted males are by sex.

So, if I'm to take that liberal educator seriously, how can I honestly expect individuals to serve side by side in dangerous situations and deal effectively with physical reactions they have no control over? In fact, if you've been a human being for any stretch of time (that means you liberals too), you will know that when a person "catches your eye" your focus, no matter what you are doing, changes.  Any traffic cop will attest to the fact that a large number of male drivers in single car accidents are caused by the male watching some girl walk down the street instead of focusing on driving.

On the other side of the gender spectrum, I've witnessed girls basketball teams completely come unraveled when their male classmates show up to watch them play in a game. The boys' presence made the girls so nervous that a usually rock solid team became a bunch of fumbling, bumbling, giggling twits. The amazing part was that none of the boys who came were love interests of any of the girls on the team. They didn't have to be, the mere fact the girls knew these potential dates were there to observe them was enough to put the girls heads everywhere but the game.

Fact: Human sexuality plays a part on one's ability to focus no matter what your orientation. If someone who is known to be sexually attracted to "your kind" is present, the dynamics change ever so slightly. In a combat situation, slightly matters.

Beyond this basic truth about human sexuality, what sort of person signs up voluntarily for the military in order to express their individuality? Did you not get the memo? Military service is not a career in the arts. It's a mission that specifically requires all prospective soldiers to check their individuality at the door.  If a straight person enters the military demanding to leave their hair long and wear t shirts with slogans they personally believe in instead of the uniform fatigues because "that is who they are", they'd be booted out the door day one.

Recently a long serving soldier was indicted for not following orders and sentenced to three years in jail. He refused to report for duty based on his personal belief that President Obama has not proven that he is an American citizen. Under that belief, this career soldier did not see Obama's presidential order for him to return to Afghanistan as valid.

Sorry dude, you are in the military, an order is an order and that is what you signed up for. Your personal doubts about Obama's birthplace is not up for discussion in a military setting. This soldier was expressing his political orientation yet his expression was rightly squelched. As a private citizen he can think what he wants but as a soldier in the United States Military, such personal expressions are detrimental to military morale and chain of command.

Gay soldiers have been in the military since such service began. Those that serve without needing the acknowledgement of their sexual orientation are the people who truly understand and respect the military mission. That is why Don't Ask, Don't Tell is legitimate and fair. The gay soldiers, however, who feel their mode of sexual act defines them to such an extent that it must be made known to all around them strike me as people with an agenda other than military mission success.

And what about the left constantly concerned about how we are viewed by the Muslim world? Last time I checked, being gay is a grave sin within the tenets of Islam.  Muslims do not believe a person is born gay, they chose it. In Iran, homosexuals are routinely executed. I guess that is why Ahmadinejad so confidently proclaimed that they have no homosexual problem in Iran because they don't have homosexuals there. You got that right Ahmie!

And so the left trumps up this issue of supporting gay soldiers to serve openly as homosexuals with zero concern how the Muslim world will percieve this? The left made sure female soldiers did not oversee the prisoners at Gitmo because having a woman oversee them was a personal affront to them. Will the left see to it no gay soldiers oversee Muslim war prisoners as well? Which side of that one will you chose oh all-knowing Marxist goons?

The left is very sensitive to how our military behaves within the Muslim culture, except, I guess when it comes to acts considered by Muslims as sexually deviant and evil.  With this issue, the left brazenly ignores Muslim sensibilities because at the end of the day, the left could care less about Muslim sensibilities unless those sensibilities play into the Marxist goal of weakening America.  Intellectual consistency is not the left's forte and neither is their loyalty to the Islamic world or gays for that matter.

All things considered, openly gay American military soldiers will result in either morale problems in combat units or an unwritten rule that the openly gay soldiers do not get assigned to combat situations. As long as the United States Military is a volunteer force, the issue of openly gay soldiers serving is an intellectually dishonest, political leftist ploy meant to harm the United States Military, not enhance it. That's not pro-gay, that's just sad.

How Liberal Cable Food Shows Can Save The Lives Of Endangered Capitalist Pigs

I took a break the other day from the rush of holiday preparations, Christmas choir performances and high school basketball games to simply chill and watch an innocuous food show. I usually tune into some form of cable news but I'd had it with the Lame Duck Congress chatter and decided to hear about duck con fit and pancake batter instead.

I can't remember if it was a Travel Channel show or Food Network but the topic was the popular trend of Roach Coach food (as I call it). The show profiled all the different food truck vendors who race around urban centers, developing a loyal following as they offer up some amazingly inventive and apparently profitable edibles. Though the vendor's politics were not declared outright, the code words and homage given to our current Commander In Chief, made it clear these were young liberal adults long educated under the Marxist philosophy of Utopia Starts With "U". Little do they realize the correct spelling is Youtopia and it actually begins with "Y"...would you willingly become a slave to the state?

Each young entrepreneurial idealist related their story of how they took their high level college degrees in finance, computer engineering and other obscenely expensive liberal arts endeavors and chucked them out the window for a chance to be in charge of their own destiny. Hmmm, funny their tenure-soaked college professors didn't mention this option before the tuition checks were all cashed.

One young man, almost giddy with glee, admitted he now spends close to 80 hours a week working in his food wagon, going on to clarify that it's a much more rewarding, fulfilling endeavor than that 40 hour-a-week office-Hell he left behind. He boldly declared he would never go back. Good for him! And actually, VERY good for us.

As I was pleased to hear the spirit of individualism still managing to exist in the hearts of those whose heads have been so thoroughly conditioned with the false realities of social justice, I had to chuckle with pity at these young unwitting individualists still attempting to please the masters of their empty ideology. To a fault, each made a case for their obliging the rules of the new society by proclaiming the healthy, fresh ingredients they proudly serve up to the masses at reasonable prices.

I'm sorry, but from what I saw going on in those trucks of good taste, Empress Michelle would never approve of the deep frying techniques, use of real butter and the much too generous portion sizes under her unquestionable rules of food rationing, no matter how much arugula you put on the side.

The day will come and I believe soon, when these young idealists will recognize who they really are, the offspring of pioneers and free citizens, not the spawn of lowly worker bee serfs. The veil of social engineering for the greater good will be lifted and these young Americans will then understand the warped realities they've been fed by tainted textbooks, patronizing professors and the lying bastards better known as progressive politicians (both on the right and left).

These callow "Yes We Can"ers will soon encounter the regulations of a socialist utopia that is sure to limit their menus, restrict their fuel allowances, increase their taxes, impose higher license fees, and wreck their dreams, rendering the operation of their business, regulation by regulation, an impossibility. Of course, our benevolent government may well put them out of their business mercifully quick by squashing their innovations in one legislative swoop.

Seriously, what's to stop our "know-what's-best-for-you" government from banning all street food, period? Just like the once dependable fundraiser of the school bake sale and the standard first taste of entrepreneurial bliss, the neighborhood lemonade stand, in places famous for their allegiance to Michellism, government entities have deemed both practices too dangerous, too self-enterprising and too FUN to expose society-at-large to.

Heaven forbid if any of our young liberal food pushing entrepreneurs give a toy away with their Mexican/Fusion Asian-vibed pulled pork rib burgers on the whole wheat bun!  Why, that's certainly grounds for child abuse in our new, improved, ivy-leagued approved socialist state. Remember, introducing the concept of homosexuality to kindergartners in the classroom is fine. In fact, it's the humane thing to do but don't you DARE give those impressionable tots a toy with their non-state sanctioned rationed sustenance.

It's this sort of idiocy that is catching up to the messaging of the left. The reality of leftist doctrines use to have a big enough lag time that we all could take a step back from our capitalist vantage point on the hill with little recognition of where we actually stood. Now however, with each step back, there's a noticeable shadow being cast, the shadow of the wall of Marxist "social good". It use to be a wall far in the distance but now we are close enough that it's height is blocking out the sun. More and more of us realize with each step back, our land of individual freedom has been eroding beneath our feet.

We're at a very pivotal point now. We''ve backed far enough that there's barely a ledge left to stand on. Our back is up against the wall of Marxist thought. The tree of liberty is next to us on this eroding cliff but it's roots are now exposed and things are not looking good.  We either go through the socialist gate in the wall and join the One World Land on the other side where personal property, personal responsibility, personal innovation and dreams are non-existent, or somehow utilize our tree of Liberty and construct a bridge, build a signal fire or swing from its branches back to the original land of Freedom we've been backing away from for several generations.

Many are saying it is inevitable that America will morph into socialism...that due to the predictions of chaos and economic troubles coming, the populace will cry out for government to save them. Some say Capitalism will cease to exist in America within my lifetime. I absolutely do not agree, and the liberal food truck, granola crunching, dream following, Obama-loving American youth are why.

I believe there will always be those souls who do need an outside entity to lead them through the stages of their lives, who for one reason or another, perhaps a lack of intelligence, personal will, or possibly genetics, that deem these creatures incapable of survival by their own wits. I witness the actions of the youths of Europe and I believe they have no innate desire to determine their own destiny. I believe they have no confidence in their own abilities or those of their peers to make it on their own. I believe they depend on the Government for their education, their livelihood, their determination of self-worth.   I believe this mindset is so deep seeded within their makeup that, though it pains me to say, based on the profile of their youth, I don't have much hope for the population of Europe to escape the trap of socialism within my lifetime.

America however, is a different story. No other country in the history of man has had such a concentration of individualists come together and build a society like the one forged in the first 100 years of the United States of America. That spirit, though currently masked by materialism and trendy feel-good vapid liberal ideals, is still there in the blood of our people. There is no other land where oppressed people with the necessary personal drive gene literally risk their lives to this day to come here. Unlike China, whose people as a whole have never known personal freedom, there are simply too many young idealistic food truck owners, new immigrants and old conservatives that will never take that last step backward, through the gate of socialism and live on the other side of the Marxist wall.

It is true, our youth may ignorantly wear Che shirts and vote for a man who not only has a weak personal history but next to no knowledge of the history forged by the great country he now attempts to govern. This is all an unfortunate reality but there remains the fortunate reality that the leftist brain trust is forgetting. True, American youth are easily led via false compliments and by playing off the guilt of their privileged existences but at the end of the day, I truly believe the bulk of misguided American youth will part ways with their European counterparts due to what all Americans have in their bellies, the desire to chart their own destiny.

Like the young liberal food truck owner who tasted the shackles of a paper-pushing, "yes sir, Boss", 40-hour-a-week paycheck and spit it out to take a bite out of a self-determined, 80-hour-work-week slathered in personal satisfaction, this same mindset, that of the American pioneer, will ultimately resist the enslavement of socialism and build that bridge back to our birthright, the land of freedom, the land of the individual, the land of the Fat, Happy, 80-hour-a-week-working, perpetually innovative, Capitalist Pig.

Not only will America's Capitalist Pigs survive, I believe they will in fact, sprout wings and fly, reaching greater heights than we ever dreamed. And with that, I say OINK to the People!!!

Student Protesters Earn An F In Comprehension

A ten foot sign proclaims, WE ARE NOT YOUR SLAVES. My dear callow, nanny-state-loving youths, that's exactly what you are. In fact, the more you push for the warped ideals of socialism, the thicker the shackles, the shorter the chain.

One peruses the leftist websites and the common opinion is clear, China's system is the goal of today's young socialists. These very student protesters throwing tantrums, demanding services, actually think they are being cheated out of an education by the government. They've been cheated out of an education, alright, an education based in reality and the way a society succeeds through individual innovation.

STUDENTS! What exactly have you been studying?  Try pulling this stunt in your beloved China where a student protester would be lucky if they were jailed for the next 30 years. Assuming they weren't shot on the spot, they'd be denied anything resembling a book to read during their detainment. Study would be replaced with hard labor and no nice, comfortable dorm room but plenty of room mates to be sure.

And what about the Chinese students who do as they are told and submit to the system? Do you really think a Chinese student has the luxury of picking their field of study? Do you really think a Chinese student has access to ideas about liberty and free thought? Do you really think the Chinese government gives a crap if you peons don't want to be slaves?

STUDENTS! Quit falling for the false compliments your reality-incompetent professors hand you. I heard the same tripe 25 years ago from the social misfit, Mao-loving, mental-midget educators who depend on self-centered, over-indulged, intellectually stunted, Western youths to do their bidding.

They shower you with concocted praise, pretending to elevate you above all non-academic adults, placing you at their feet in the tower of KNOW-IT-ALL U. They promise to pass the baton of power on to you as long as you join them in the quest of the great society where the dumb will be taken care of and the intellectually elite will rule. Little do you know that the "dumb" is actually you, the student. Boy, will you be taken care of!

Here's a couple basic facts the youth of our world need to realize about an all providing Government: Such a Government is not capable of providing life.  Such a Government is capable of providing death. Government sees people as masses not as individuals. Government provides at the lowest quality of services for the most amount of humans. Government will take more power from an individual, never less. Government will reduce the human population to the most controllable levels for the Government.  Government's greatest threat is a thinking human. Government must control all information passed amongst the masses. Government can not allow for subversive thought to exist.

Masters provide, slaves accept. As long as one's hand is out, one remains submissive no matter how loud one stomps and screams. To be free of bondage, the slaves must reverse the flow of provision and acceptance.

The material giver will always rule the material taker. This concept is foreign to today's youth. They literally can not comprehend this truth. And so the youths of Britain kick, scream, demand for the evil-Nanny Government to educate them further into dependence and mediocrity as the Chinese Government smiles.

Julian May Have A Leakey Wiki But It's Not All His Fault

The charges being brought against Julian Assange are ridickulous but at the very least, poetic. To think, the world's whistle blower, infamous for leaking potentially potent secrets is now in custody for leaking apparently impotent secretions from his own whistle. The irony is stunning.  Shakespeare, eat your heart out!

The truly important symbolism does not stop there. If America's security secrets are that vital and that precious, why would we set them up to be so easily tapped into? Why? Because America has morphed into nothing better than some left wing, psuedo-intellectual, phony feminist, tramp. With the reign of Obama we began behaving internationally just like the two idiots now claiming rape against the drippy geek they both willingly dropped their drawers for.

Julian Assange may well be responsible for the actual "act" but it's the slutty behavior and lack of personal responsibility that got us all here, including the two "ladies".  The fact is, the American chain of command sent our most valuable secrets to the party wearing a mini skirt and thong rather than a knee-length dress and chastity belt. Why aren't there a slew of American military and other political leaders with their wrists in cuffs for this? There should be! The mere fact some dufus Private could down load what he did in the manner he did it is the truly criminal act.

America has lost it's sense of personal responsibility, replacing it with a false sense of approval awarded via meaningless Nobel Prizes and empty treaties with countries sensing our lack of self-respect.  Our country is no better than the two women who trot the globe calling themselves feminists, champion leftist causes as they claim superior ideals over the dumb masses. Yet both "smart, savvy, worldly, feminists end up banged by some loser just like the uneducated trailer park waitress they despise and mock.

These two Marxist mavens put out for a fellow lefty who uses them like meat and now they regret it? Wow, that's progress! How far the feminist movement has brought women, just like all leftist theories, they forget that human beings are the ones who are suppose to implement these Utopian lifestyles...GOOD LUCK FOOLS!

So here we are, trying to trump up charges against a low-life Internet worm who was even less well known than Obama three years ago yet this leftist weasel (I'm referring to Assange not Obama) can hold the world hostage with the threat of screwing us all because America chose to give away her common sense dignity for the cheap title of socialist party girl.

I am not blaming the victim here. A victim is someone who is attacked without warning and without any means to have averted the attack. Just like the two spreaders in Sweden, we saw Assange and any other of his ilk coming down the path years ago but did nothing but invite him in and rub up against his leg. Our National Security secrets should have been ironclad instead we practically begged Fate to take advantage. And Fate obliged.

Bottom line, Assange is an attention-seeking soul with bad intentions. He is not a heroic do-gooder with the admirable goal of exposing the corruption of the world. If that had been his real motive, he would have revealed all the evils as soon as possible regardless of his own fate for the world's benefit. Instead, he's dribbled bit by bit, which up to this date really hasn't lived up to the promises. He claims to have bombshells capable of taking down the world's infrastructure. If so, is that the way to fix the world? I thought the left was all about reform not execution?

I think Assange is a sad little man with an enormous need to be powerful and important. He may well have a bombshell. Then again, like the wads he shot with the disgruntled groupies, it could be nothing but blanks. I'd prefer not to find out. Instead, I'd like President Obama to quit living out his personal Marxist fantasy and start protecting America's interests the way he protects his own college transcripts!

On second thought, maybe that's what is in Assange's leaks? Hmmmm.

If It Weren't For God We'd Be Perfect Already!

With the discovery of an arsenic eating life form, the blogosphere is all abuzz declaring this finding once and for all proves there is NO GOD. The NO GOD chorus was tuning up anyway since it's the Christmas season. That's what they do this time of year to promote world harmony. But this little alien microbe has them singing louder than ever before.

Somehow, the NO GOD folks conflate this finding with the "in my image" statement, finding the one as disproof of the other. First, the "in my image" part doesn't refer to physical make up, it's man's ability to think and reason that is in God's image but whatever, if this arsenic-munching bug makes the NO GOD folks happy, all I can THINK is, that's Humanist REASON for the Season.

Regardless of their glee, Humanists are still in denial about the truth. Not about whether God exists, which is unprovable, but with their misdirected blame on religion and God for not only hampering man's advancements but truly being the cause of all wars and destruction. While some ask what planet the arsenic binging bugs are from, I want to know what spaceship dropped these "Humanists" here?  Do they know what "human" means?

God, religion, guns, drugs, Capitalism, even Satan and Communism, all the main scapegoats for man's failings, ARE NOT TO BLAME for where we are, or aren't. If I could take a magic wand and erase all these concepts, forces and items from human existence but left man with the same brain and coded drives we all share, I dare say, we'd be at best, in the same place, more likely worse than we are today.

The truth is, Humanists don't have a problem with God, they have a problem with their fellow human.  And one can't get more human than that! In the guise of wanting harmony through intellectual thought, the Humanists only add to the din of conflict around the world. In their attempt to prove the backwardness of all people who "believe the myth" the Humanists claim religion impedes science. None of us wants that! We all know that science is the key to improving man's existence.

Apparently Humanists don't know or want to know that many Christians, even those especially backward ones called Catholics are the "Fathers" of such areas of science as Modern Chemistry, Modern Algebra, Modern Atomic Theory, and many others. They obviously are not aware that 35 craters on the moon are named after Jesuit priests who furthered modern science with their findings and that thousands of Catholic scientists have and are advancing man's knowledge in all areas of science to this day. Humanists go on to blame all wars on religion.  In my opinion, this is a false argument. A belief system does not cause destruction from conflict, MAN who hides behind religion causes destruction from conflict. If it isn't religion, it's Ford vs Chevy, Betty Crocker opposed to Duncan Hines, over-the-top toilet paper hangers against from-the-back-of-the-roll toilet paper hangers. Man will seek an issue to align against another man, no matter what.

Are humans doomed to always be in conflict? Yes, it's the way we are designed (or spontaneously hard-wired by pure chance out of thin air). But conflict does not have to be destructive or disrespectful. Along with our argumentative nature, we have the power to control our behavior and conduct ourselves in a civil, respectful manner. Agree to disagree, heard of it?

However, our friends, the Humanists, do not want anyone, anywhere, celebrating the Birth of Christ publicly, never, ever...for the rest of time...that means forever. To them, I pose the argument that the worship of secularism goes on daily throughout the year. I am assaulted routinely by slogans, signs, public practices that fly in the face of my personal values. That is life. I get it.

The daily brainwashing of secularism is one I've learned to exist with. In spite of the overwhelming volume of these beliefs and practices forced upon me, I see a way I can live amongst this while staying true to my chosen values and faith.

One would think eleven months domination of the public square would be sufficient for the NO GOD crowd. Apparently if one's message is sketchy, it means NO HOLIDAYS, especially during the HOLY DAYS.

My dear Humanists, scream all you want against God if it makes you feel better. He can certainly take it. Like the old Hollywood adage, doesn't matter what they say about you, as long as they're saying something.

And I'm confident, regardless of naysayers, Jews will celebrate Hanukkah and Christians, like me, will merrily celebrate Christmas with family, some old friends, and in my case, some new friends, who strangely requested I add an arsenic dish to the menu (must be lactose intolerant).

Independent? Co-Dependent?

The idea of dividing the human condition into two categories is never a smart thing to do. There are infinite variables that influence what life philosophy each person subscribes to and in 99.99% of the cases, a person follows some combination of any number of philosophies concurrently. Having said that, I will tap into my "Marxist side" and boldly assign all people into one of two camps; Independents and Co-Dependents.

Each of these types have two subsets within them. The Independents are made up of Leaders and Supporters. The Leaders are those in the Independent society who have been successful in their particular goal. They serve as examples and inspiration to those individuals (Supporters) who are in the process of goal pursuit. The benefits between the relationship of Leaders and Supporters go both directions. The Supporters provide the Leaders the much needed aspect to all individuals who want to continue to grow, that being competition. The Old Pro always relishes the challenge from the Young Up and Comer.

Though Leaders are people who have proven their talents and succeeded in their field, the Independent society believes all people need to be pushed to their limits the span of one's lifetime. No person in an Independent society rests on their laurels. In fact, any one individual can serve as Leader and Supporter any number of times within their life, making each person's experience perpetually in flux while putting the entire society continually headed in a forward momentum.   Such a society promotes the freedom of all to pursue the goals of their choice with no guarantee of success or failure rather focusing on the actual pursuit as the source of an individual's true fulfillment.

For an Independent society, Capitalism as it's economic model, is a reasonably good fit when matched with a small central government, a larger local government, both answering to the people they serve.  This society promotes the concept of risk, allowing for a continuum of innovation and advancements like no other economic strategy can.

The possibility of devastating failures exist but time and time again, some of the biggest failures in history resulted in the most magnificent successes. Thomas Edison is a perfect example. As a boy, he was deemed too stupid to learn anything by his teacher. Because Edison was a true individual who refused to let anyone determine his success but himself, he conducted over 9,000 experiments before finally creating the first working lightbulb. By the end of his life he had 1,093 U.S. patents held in his name. This sort of success through successive failure can only take place in a society where the individual is free to pursue their God-given visions.

America use to be an Independent society.  For several decades we have been drifting from this. And only recently the drift became full speed away from the Independent concept. We have betrayed our founding ideals. We have handed over the reins to a Co-Dependent model rendering us closer to serfs than citizens. In fact, due to an ever-encroaching Federal Government, a college drop-out by the name of Bill Gates, could never start up a little software company called Microsoft in today's Big Government environment. Think about that!

In today's America, we are now subjects of the Co-Dependent model. Depending on what sort of person you are, this is either a dream come true or a sheet-soaking nightmare. Where we use to have two classes in our Independent society, we still have two in our Co-Dependent but the functions are profoundly different.  In a Co-Dependent environment one is either a Keeper or a Pet. The Keepers are a relative handful of self-appointed intellectual elites whose role is to control and maintain the existence of all the world's Pets. Pets are people who expect their Keepers to provide food, clothing, shelter, education, healthcare, and at the very least, a pretense of a job.

Keepers are self-evaluated and are suppose to provide all Pets with equal provisions. Of course, though they hate to admit it, Keepers are human. They inevitably have their "favorite" Pets. These Pets will receive higher quality provisions which, on the surface seems to be quite a nice existence. There is a down side. Once a Pet is favored by a Keeper, that Pet is monitored closer and held to higher standards of Keeper loyalty than the rest of the Pets kept in the normal kennel runs.

At the end of the day though, the people who are Pets, much like the protesters in Greece and now the students in England, expect their Keepers to KEEP. Unfortunately, though the Keepers say otherwise, they are not GOD and can not drop manna from heaven no matter how many academic degrees or Nobel Peace Prizes they have.  Sadly, the current generation of Pets have no desire to break free and take responsibility for their own existence. The very fact they were not aborted in their minds means they are entitled to Government care from cradle to grave. The key word being "grave".

The Keepers have a love hate relationship with their Pets. They need the Pets in order to justify the role of Keeper in the first place but though a Keeper may feel pity for a Pet, a Pet is and always will be inferior to the Keeper. A Keeper craves total control, often initially under the guise of "knowing what is best" for the ignorant Pets. Economically, the Keepers have all rights to any pay the Pet's generate. In return, the Keepers provide the Pets all the things the Keepers think the Pets need to live. The incentive to make a good living diminishes since all Pets are given the same regardless of performance.  Besides, the less you work, the less of yours gets taken by the Keepers but the more free stuff you get. Not good stuff but still, it's free. Free stuff just no freedom.

Though the Keepers claim open-mindedness, a Keeper's total control over his/her Pets require the scrubbing out of any "GOD" concept in the Keeper/Pet Society. In such a society, the threat of any religion other than the worship of the Keeper, is toxic, even lethal to the Keeper. Though most Pets happily subscribe to a "God is Myth" philosophy when times are good, in economically troubled times, the concept of God becomes the biggest threat to Keeper domination. That's why it is important in a Co-Dependent society to get them young, educate them in purely secular, progressive thought and remind them time and time and time again, Keepers are the Key to Getting Stuff FREE.

In contrast, the Independent society actually invites the worship of a Creator though belief in such is not at all required.  Since there is no "supreme" Leader who has the responsibility over the welfare or control of others in the society, the concept of God holds no threat to Independent Leaders. Worship of God within an Independent society serves the individual as a means of inspiration to dig deep into one's source of talents and grow, especially after times of personal failure. Personal belief is a personal affair. In fact, the atheist in an Independent society has the excellent motivation of this life being the one and only shot at living out his/her personal aspirations and doing so with the fruits of labor spent however one wishes. It is true, the atheist mindset finds its greatest chance at success within the structure of Independent societies not the NO GOD ZONE of Co-Dependency.

Though atheism in a Co-Dependent society is touted as intellectually superior, ironically, the atheist Pet is perhaps the most limited human being within the Co-Dependent society. An atheist Pet has no mental concept to engage when all hope and dignity are stripped from them. It's one thing to fail in an Independent society where your failure is yours to deal with, your business to pick yourself up from but to be Godless living in a society capable of taking your identity, diminishing your self worth and assigning you your fate, that's about as low as a human can exist.   Conversely, the Pet who harbors notions of a power beyond this reality can retain some level of dignity that no Keeper can touch. If a Pet with no God falls out of favor with their Keeper, all I can say is, God help them.

To be fair, there certainly can be good Keepers with happy Pets. This is the model all Co-Dependent societies work from though none have lived up to. The Co-Dependent model does have its place. As a matter of fact, within the Independent society, mini Co-Dependent units exist with the actual blessing of the Independent society as a whole. These mini C-D units are called "families". On this scale the Co-Dependent set-up has its best chance at succeeding due to a brilliant safety valve built in called adult emancipation. Obviously, parents are the Keepers in the power structure, children the Pets but in this case, there comes a day when the Keepers end their rule, setting the Pets free to fully engage in the realm of Independence, to sink or swim on their own.

Parents, like Keepers, can be good or they can suck, regardless emancipation insures no one remains a Pet forever, especially under a bad Keeper. Unfortunately, less and less individuals are taking advantage of an Independent society's emancipation. When a 26 year-old is guaranteed coverage under his/her PARENT'S health insurance, there's a demeaning force at work planting the seeds for arrested development far into one's lifetime. TWENTY-SIX? I had my first gray hairs by 26! For Pete's sake, have some pride!

While the family unit can be a successful example of Co-Dependent success in an Independent society, much like God, the family unit in a full-blown Co-Dependent society is a real threat. Again, it provides a Pet with the possibility of aligning with a pack based on blood ties. In a Co-Dependent society, blood ties are frowned upon, with packs formed under the guidance of the Keeper alone. Careful temperament screenings are made to make sure any pack formed will not have the dynamics to turn on the Keeper. Got it? All breeding and social interaction are directed and monitored by the Keeper, period.

The brilliance of the Co-Dependent society comes in the causes initially promoted. It champions the perceived "victims" of an Independent society, highlighting how unfair Independence is to the weak. If a person is a racial minority, a female, uneducated, personally defined by their sexual orientation, lazy, pre-disposed to a life of crime, a low-paid worker, or actor, the Co-Dependent Keepers will promise the moon. Like the case of the atheist, these "victims" are the first round recruits to Pethood in a Co-Dependent society. However, the fact is, their odds of achieving their highest capabilities greatly diminish when kept as Pets. Even criminals fair better in an Independent society where the number of wealthy people with stuff worth stealing always far exceeds the measly handful of wealthy Keepers in a Co-Dependent society. And Lord knows the stuff your fellow Pets have isn't worth the trouble.

So why not let the Independent minded people try their society unimpeded in one sliver of the planet and give the rest of the globe over to the Keepers and Pets? Well, this sorta happened, once for a short period of time. It was called the United States of America and it lasted about 100 years. Then word got out to way too many Pets. Pets began leaving their Keepers in droves. Something had to be done! And so characters like Marx and his intellectual elite set began the new campaign. The Independent experiment had to end before it became too powerful and screwed up the gig for all the Keepers.

If the Keepers were so smart, why not start their own Independent society and flourish there? Why not come to America and see how and why it is good to give man the right to form his own destiny? Some Keepers did and because many are actually smart, they succeeded and flourished.   But ultimately, the only way these sorts of individuals are fulfilled is when they control not just their own destiny, but the destiny of other men. If Independence caught on globally, GOOD BYE KEEPERS.

As technology advanced and communication became possible from one end of the earth to the other at the push of a button, the message HAD to be accelerated to take down the Independent movement. Co-Dependent Keepers rely on class warfare to demonize Independents instead of being intellectually honest and comparing the poor of an Independent society to the conditions of people living as the poorest Pets in Co-Dependent societies. There is no question which society does a better job. The Independent, pro-human, self-destiny-driven experiment that promotes authentic free-thought trumps the false sympathies and empty promises of the Co-Dependent society every time.

Cut to the Keeper in the corner with his hand over his ears singing "lah-lah-lah-lah-lah, I can't hear you, lah-lah-lah-LAH!

Regardless of the times, there will always be the man who believes the abilities of the individual are to be unfettered for his and society's benefit. There will always be the man who believes fettered masses benefit more when saved from themselves. If history holds any answers, we're due some serious fettering soon. America's government officials pit man against man as they shamelessly proclaim that not raising taxes on the rich is taking money from the Government. Who earned the money, Ms. Pelosi? Who employs workers, Ms. Pelosi? Not you, Madame! But clearly, in one way or another, you are certainly a KEEPER. When this is the mindset spoken on public airwaves as fact, you know Big Government and dark days are ahead for the spirit of Independence.

Some say trying to fight forces like the ones currently on the hunt for the last remnants of the Independent ideal is folly. It's like trying to stop winter from following autumn. Then again, some individuals do head for Florida this time of year! Where there's a will...you'll find an Independent.

God bless the Independents and all those Pets thinking about losing their muzzle and collar for good.

The World's Powerful Children Play Dangerous Games

To read the headlines today one has to ask where did the adults go? I feel like I'm in that episode of Star Trek entitled Miri where Captain Kirk lands on a planet that is plagued by a virus which kills off all adults, leaving only children to run the society.

Kirk learns the virus was a failed attempt at prolonging life, allowing humans to age one month with every 365 days. However, once puberty is finally reached, the virus strikes, causing horrible blue sores to form prior to death.

Though many of the "children" Kirk finds are over 300 years old, their emotional and mental maturity is that of their physical maturity. The younger children are docile and compliant, believing everything the older children tell them, including that all adults "grups" are bad.

Each child, as they reach puberty, become violent, enraged and totally irrational meeting with a swift but agonizing demise. From what I see, many of the world's leaders have reached that pre-pubescent stage and boy, we're talking more than mood swings going on!

Currently the world's upper graders are telling the world's lower school what to think. They tell us they are smart but it becomes clearer and clearer that our leading tweens are in over their heads.

The Wikileaks debacle underscores this though really didn't reveal any surprises. Like all jealous adolescents with bad skin, Julian Assange thinks taking pot shots at the popular crowd will finally make him cool.

In reality, Assange's big news didn't match the hype, painting other student council presidents in less competent light than our own trainer-bra-wearing leaders but no doubt, this will make it much more difficult for America to be voted Homecoming Queen anytime soon.

Though the Wikileaks news has more entertainment value hence more headlines, the real outbreak of the Miri virus is most evident in the recent release of "Risky Business II" ie; IRELAND GONE WILD. Like a bunch of spoiled brats who were being told their Kardashian credit cards would be cut up in 2009 if they voted NO on the Lisbon Treaty, the entitlement teens of Erin sold their identity.

This act sealed their economic, political, and personal enslavement to the European Union. The Treaty was meant to insure. The truth is, FOR SURE, the Treaty is no CURE it's just more of the disease.

If only Captain Kirk had paid a visit to Ireland before they voted and explained to them the truth. Ah, but apparently he did, in the form of Nigel Farage... (WARNING, a bit lengthy but this discourse a year ago reveals who is peddling the lie and who sees through it.)

But Mr. Farage's mistake was being British and in Irish that's the equivalent to being a "grup". No matter what, "grups" can not be trusted. And so Ireland went the way of a texting teen in a speeding car, oblivious to what is really at stake, their life, other's lives, just focused on pushing SEND.

The blue spots are starting to form on pubescent political leaders the world over. Ironically, the very upper graders who are pushing the lethal policies will be the first to fall victim to the virus. Like all adolescents, they honestly believe they are invincible. And where does that leave the younger ones? Are we at the older kids' mercy or will Captain Kirk give us the cure? It seems he's trying to but will we listen? (Not to worry, this clip is SHORTER but important)

A little side note, in the Star Trek episode, the cure for the "youth virus" was successful but not without experiencing a bit of pain in the process.

I am not a One World advocate but I do suggest the people of the world take a collective TIME OUT. We need to unplug our iPods, put down the cell phones, log off Facebook for a minute and THINK for ourselves. Not all "grups" are bad. Just the "grups" who don't ACT like "grups". Learn the difference and then grow up.

On this day before Thanksgiving I find myself taking moments among the frenzied preparations for tomorrow's celebration to stop and reflect on the things that I am so very thankful for. All the predictable aspects of my life head the list; my family, my faith, good health, etc.

Beyond my personal reflections, I take a look at the big picture I find myself within. Though these times are shaky and in many cases, difficult and scary, I am thankful for the amazing men who conceived, believed and dared to write our Constitution. I marvel at their foresight or perhaps their clarity regarding the obvious weaknesses and limitless strengths of human nature.

The brilliance of our Constitution, with all the safeguards to liberty it insures, is one of, if not the greatest documents of confidence in the talents and goodness of man, the individual not the serf. This document, since its drafting, has been the bane of all tyrants and men of questionable character. There have always been forces at work attempting to shred this ideal. But like no other time before, these enemies of liberty are more visible and bolder than ever ...and not a moment too soon!

Had these forces not kicked into high gear, had they only stood on the sidelines, patiently waiting for the weaknesses of human nature to set in so deep and so thoroughly that the ideal of man's freedom would simply sigh, die, and disappear without a whimper, our fate would have been sealed. Had that these forces remained stealth, we might all be a little more comfortable this year... and a lot more dead.

Thankfully, these forces came to our rescue. Yes, our rescue. They began to assault us to such a degree, they finally, thankfully, shook us from the deep coma of complacency we had all succumbed to. Without these extreme threats to our founding ideals there would be no Tea Party, no realization, no chance for freedom to survive.

That is why I am truly thankful this Thanksgiving for God's great gift of Barack Obama. In this one man, all of the aspects of human weakness is personified. He is our chosen leader and he is US.  When we as Americans look in the mirror, what we see now is Barack Obama. We see people dependent on bureaucracy to feed us, clothe us, house us, and tell us when to reproduce and die. We see people who whore themselves to the world just to garner a nod of acceptance.  Respect is too good for us now, we are a people prepared to submit to our masters.

We look in the mirror and see a society no longer wanting to be a destination for souls seeking freedom.  Freedom requires personal responsibility, a mantle too mighty for any human, or so says our reflection speaking to us. He reminds us only government can save the economy (or ruin it), only government can regulate big business (or hijack it), only government can bail out our auto industry (or unionize it into failure), only the government can provide health care (or ration it), only government can negotiate with our allies and enemies (or take it up the ass by so many that no one even wants a piece anymore).

We look in the mirror and see Barack Obama. Do we Americans recognize ourselves? Do we like what we see? Can we get out of bed, wash our face, roll up our sleeves and still get the job done or do we look in the mirror and decide "the hell with it" and go back to bed? Do we now say, "let the government do it"?

Americans have two choices we all are waking up to today, tomorrow and for all mortal time to come...do we prescribe to the saying, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" or are we still the stock who vowed to "live free or die"?

This is why I truly am thankful to God for Barack Obama. Without Obama and his reflection of ourselves, we as a nation never would have come out of the daze of overindulgence to recognize who we've become and ask ourselves if we are a people who even "hope" to "change" anymore.

I know circumstances must become much worse here and around the world before improvements can occur. But "make no mistake", only because of Barack Obama, there exists a slim chance that the best of man's spirits will rally in time for triumph.  Man always rises to his highest when faced with adversity.  With that said, the coming years hold opportunity for heights never imagined in dreams... or nightmares.

I firmly believe America always gets the leader she deserves. Barack Obama is the leader chosen by our collective subconscious to tell us the truth about what we have become. It is painful to accept we are now a country physically, mentally, socially, morally, spiritually weak. It is painful to accept the fact WE led ourselves here, not Barack Obama. That is why all Americans must thank God tomorrow and always for Barack Obama. He will not lead us out of trouble but he is the reason America has the choice again to live free or die.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. Thank God for Barack Obama!
