AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin drivers making their morning commute were in for a surprise when two road signs on a busy stretch of road were taken over by hackers. The signs near the intersection of Lamar and Martin Luther King boulevards usually warn drivers about upcoming construction, but Monday morning they warned of "zombies ahead."

I absolutly love this continued discussion on the reality behind the idea of zombies! Maybe it's a sign of the times. Lord knows we're living through some pretty extraordinary ones.

Justin, a reader of Blog of the Living Dead, has written a fascinating response to the following question (posted on his site:):

My name is Phil, and I am studying physicalism in college right now.

Physicalism dictates that everything is physical and in a very real sense the fact that the brain is the "Sum of its parts." What Vonnegut aptly referred to as "a dog’s lunch."

Recently I have been reading a lot of material about the impossibility of zombies from the physicalist’s standpoint.

Physicalism contradicts zombiism. A zombie, which is physically the replica of a normal human, is very different from its original self mentally.

How the heck will Justin resolve these contradictions???
