Perspective

I am as Romantic as your understanding of life. We are young, and the idea of being attractive may be tied to youth visually in your perspective. It may also be attributed to your journey and how you have overcome obstacles while remaining mostly intact. You look in the mirror and are proud of certain things, and might also be saddened at how some of your features have changed or not changed in accordance to your ideal. The perception of yourself physically and mentally are under constant fire, and I wanted to clarify some things;

When I love you, I love who you are, where you have come from and where you seem to be going. This isn't about your features fading or looking better, nor about how we had our issues then or now, this is about what I fell in love with and wont stop loving. This is about me acknowledging reality and accepting it regardless of the circumstance.

The person that I see today will be the same that I love next year and so on. While you watch your hair grey I will watch you become more gorgeous. While you try to break your back to be more impressive to yourself and others, I am lost in how much I want to get to know you, and how many days I might have left until I've loved and lost either in my life expiring or you leaving my side. If you ever wonder to yourself in doubt, and question your being, watch me smile at you again. Look closer. There is a tender love in my eyes, and it is merely for your existence and your presence in mine.

I believe that we are all here to set examples. I know in my heart we aren't all doctors or models or cooks or liars, we are diversity and experiences. We are men and women, we are human. If you accept that you may or may not accomplish your dreams as you set forth to do so, then also accept I'm way ahead of you regardless of how much I want to support you accomplishing them. Realize that I just want to love and take care of you for as long as I'm promised my precious visit here. Realize you will get 'old and ugly' and I will still call you my sexy thang and be your good friend. Realize that some of us including myself may or may not be a part of your life soon, but there is unconditional love that is the undertone and constant.

Everyday that I see you it's like the first time I saw you.. It takes me a minute to realize how much time we have spent together. Every day is like 50 first dates. Your face a visage of God on earth in disguise as a mischievous pixie with wings and a tutu, your facial expressions are the pixie dust that could make elephants float or ships soar. Your bottom is the top of Pandora’s box, gesturing for me to find out what mystery is hidden.. Your bosom are fuk-mi and fuk-yuu, identical, perky and fun.. your hair is the color of the wind in a Disney tale, and a calling card of long flowing beautiful memories... the color of your hair and eyes, deep and vast... if I look into the iris I can see the god Osiris holding a staff and smiling back at me... magical and overwhelming... your freckles and nose and ears all work together to keep my eyes captivated and intrigued by the harmless, childlike visage... but then you speak, and the intrigue peaks even higher, my ears record the melodies over and over like a trance song dancing in my brain until slowly but surely.. You were a victim once, a child of God treated like a plaything for the Devil. You were deceived and confounded possibly by someone close or encroached upon by an unfamiliar. A fragment of you is still there and the rest of you is who we know sincerely, and we love you so much. Most of us will never know you in your entirety and I apologize for not getting to know all of you better. We all apologize for not seeing the contrast in character in times where you are weak, from the lively soul that we all first met, and grew to adore. We forget sometimes that we are all human, and we have the audacity to take judgement before we take time to consider what it feels like to hurt and what it takes to heal...

Those of us that are blessed with the privilege of earning your trust are still naive as to what that Means, in life. We fail to recognize how cruel this world can seem with ourselves as our own enemy, battling nightmares and our own psyche, psyching us out at random. We use blanket statements that are inconsiderate and numb you sometimes. You cry sometimes to yourself and wish that one of us would not ask any questions, but love you in our arms and hold on until the storm has passed... You are Far from a burden my dear, you are Far from inadequate or weak or worthless! You are in fact the opposite in reality, in our eyes, in our biased perspective, in our relationship with you as a Supporter and/or a Partner. you are a beacon light, a star shining brightly in the dark omnipresence of space, an Angel among us. You are Beautiful, so Beautiful.

We don't know what to do or how to 'fix' things at times and we admit that, but terms get jumbled and 'fix this' blurs into 'fix you'. I love Coldplay, and the reference to the song is correlated deeper than the unintended effect it leaves you with and that makes us feel contrite for even hinting that you 'are' some type of problem. We are blessed and cursed as humanity to manifest perspectives, because the orientation can be interpreted so well and right or just so wrong and hurtful. Some days we try to offer our perspective to uplift you, but we expect too much too soon which is OUR fault, not yours. In love, in an honest relationship between family, friends or otherwise tend to bleed the joys and the pains of our separate worlds together, but no-one has a manual or guidebook on how to handle that properly when it happens... The best we can do in consideration of each other is summed up by Teddy; “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

I have personally loved so hard and so strong, and attempted to break my back to be an ally in healing, and I personally wasn't prepared. None of us are really prepared for this; every 2 minutes someone in the United States is sexually assaulted, there are about 213,000 victims every year, 44% of those victims under the age of 18, 80% under 30, 60% of these catastrophes are not reported to police, 2/3rds are commited by someone known to the victim, 15 out of 16 of these vile fucktards never spend a day in jail, 38% of them are a friend or an acquaintance... 1 out of 6 women have been compromised.... Those of us that you trust with the knowledge of an inkling of what you go through, see these statistics, and freak out.... Victims of sexual assault are 3X more likely to suffer from depression, 4X more likely to commit suicide, 6X more to suffer from PTSD, 13X more likely to abuse alcohol and 26X more likely to abuse drugs... Sometimes we watch you take a drink... or seem sadder than usual, and totally exacerbate the situation inadvertently...

We will always love you, and love you with everything we are. We can make you feel weird sometimes because of how we change when we try to overcompensate, but if you know in your heart that we want to see you happy every day you grace this earth with your presence, then hug yourself tightly right now for all of us supporters, because I can't hold you from here. You are Appreciated, I am, we are, lucky to have you here and alive with us today, and we hope to brighten this day for you and many more to come. I wrote this to remind you that the strength you yield to attack another day is the inspiration that we embrace. Like sunlight to a rose we bask in your exuberance and bloom, and we wilt with you when gloom looms overhead. We want to do anything in our power to remind you that you are more than just that girl I like, or my friend that I hang with. We want you to know that you aren't just a survivor, but you are so Beautiful. I mean every syllable of every word in every run-on sentence, I mean to remind you of your self-worth, and your shoulders of support that are always here if you ever need someone to lean on.
