NCsoft has made a statement regarding one of the most anticipated games this year - Blade and Soul. Open beta testing of this game should start as early as 2011, although they still want to make sure that the game is ready for such testing. Originally planned to make a CBT in 2010, but according to developers the game was too raw, and it was therefore decided to postpone the test in 2011. Details about this will be disclosed in the near future.

ThisIsGame.com able to try out the game Blade and Soul at the media preview of NCsoft, and they were quick to share with the audience the various screenshots and a description of what they had seen during this test. In their view, the game looks great, and the battles just fine animated and can use a variety of combo attacks, which adds some depth the battles and makes them vivid and memorable. At the financial report for the third quarter, NCsoft vice president JaeHo Lee released information aboutl auto targeting system in Blade and Soul.

This feature is purposed for players to play more things with less keys. Since the target will be selected automatically and control buttons kept to minimum, developers are still not sure how the players perceive and become accustomed to such user interface.

"We need to see the feedback of players about the new user interface of Blade and Soul. The players may experience unique world and action by playing the trial. We are looking forward to getting positive feedback since all the technology we have put into this game”. ( JaeHo Lee ).

November 4, CFO Jaeho Lee NCsoft announced the results of the 4 th fiscal quarter and said that the first server will be started only in 2012.

However, CBT and OBT will be launch when the developers have 100% confidence in the game, maybe later this year. Because of this, the company will lose 28mln dollars in the U.S. and other countries. But Jaeho Lee said that the company will stand and hold on to the already released games.

This decision was made because of dissatisfaction in the way the game flow, NCsoft doesn't want to again produce a game where people will just kill the mobs and the cloud rise in levels, they want people delved into the history and beauty of the game.
