This tiara is one of my favourites. It's a side detail tiara and can be worn with the detail to the left or the right.

The tiara is encrusted with delica beads, pearls and swarovski crystals. it can be created with coloured accents should you require it.

Wedding Flowers ~ Preserving them

When I got married, my wedding flowers were dried and I then made them into pot pourri. They were refreshed and refreshed until sadly they were little more than dust. They then became compost!
Now I have found a much better idea for preserving them.
Mick has done some amazing work and has been featured on here before, but this is the latest of his project, and what a special project it is too. Your wedding flowers can be permanently preseved in resin to make pendants. You can see more about Mick and how you to could have your flowers preserved HERE

Saw this fantastic idea on Pinterest.
To make your own, simply take a length of sticky tape and cover it with glitter, confetti or sequins etc .
It looks great to decorate your gifts. you can even colour coordinate to your own scheme.

This Dress is 127 years old when it was worn for it's latest wedding, that of the great great grandaughter of the first wearer.
The first wearer of the dress was Allison's paternal great-great-grandmother, Nellie Campbell,when she married A.G. Shellito in 1884 in Iowa.
The next outing was when Jean Lawman married Nellie's grandson, John Shellito in Iowa on December 26th 1941.
Allisons aunt Barbara Shellito of Boston also wore it, when she wed Jean's son Paul on July 12th 1975 in Wichita, Kansas.
Then Allison’s mum Mimi Balazs Shellito wore it when she got married in 1982 to Jack, now 58.
Allison would love it if when she has a daughter that her daughter would wear it when she marries. For that reason and with the dress being of such sentimental value, for the reception, Allison changed into another dress.

This Greek Key Tiara was originally owned by Princess Alice of Batternburg, the mother in law of the queen. It features diamonds in a Greek key and honeysuckle design. It was gifted from the queen to her daughter Princess Anne.

The Tiara was Zara Phillip's "Something Borrowed" for her wedding attire.

I have alwats loved the creations made by The Crafty Bride and this shawl is no exception. The delicate lace style would look perfect for the bride or bridesmaid or for that matter as part of a guests outfit. This is a completely one off creation and the yarn used is now discontinued. (although it can be made in other colours and yarns)

The crochet lace shawl in a gorgeous two-tone chamois colour made from a yarn which has both matt sections and shiny sections.
