With school in full swing it's been hard to post a video of my own in a while. The M.A.D. project is in full swing, though I have been having video conversion issues as of late, so I haven't been able to shoot at all.

It's been a little over a year since I started this site and certainly after a mark like this it's hard not to look back.
To mark the occasion I would like to create a little project involving the concept of making a difference, and other video bloggers out there.

Since I set out to do this whole vlog thing I've thought a lot about why I do it. My goals for the site have flip flopped a lot over this past year. One thing that has remained constant is that I have always wanted to remind viewers of some of the few things that are important in life. Things that I have noticed in my life to slip under the cracks from time to time. Things like the ability to simply love what you do. To work hard, and try new things, to not get trapped in ones own head and simply live life from the outside, to go for a hike. To take the time to listen, to breathe. Now I want to take that to a bigger realm.
I'm opening up the stage to you all. I want to know how you make a difference.
The way it will work is simple. You send me an idea for how to make a difference. I make a video on that idea, while at the same time you create your version. When I revcieve the link to the video I will post them as a pair.

The summer draws to a close, one of the hardest summers I've had. While I was in one of the city that never sleeps I was able to get away from the hussle and bussle and step back from it all, not only the city but the past 6 weeks as well. I then bid the city farewell, but not without saying farewell to some of my own baggage.

Don't forget to sometimes step back and breathe.

While visiting Boston my car was broken into. I didn't mind the stereo being stolen, it's just a stereo. But when Ashley tried to put the key in the ignition there was something broken off in it. Turns out they tried to steal my car with a flat-headed screw driver.

So my poor busted car had to get towed, here is the story.

During a visit to my friends house he took me took me to a skate park where he taught me the basics to skateboarding. I figured "hey, it can't be that hard can it?"

After many falls I can at least say that I tried something new.
I hope that this video can inspire you to do something new.
