How to Watch Free TV and Movies

2012-02-29T07:01:00.000-06:00

I use Netflix all the time, and I love how I can view an entire series or my favorite movies whenever I want, which is something Hulu just can't do. The only problem is, Netflix is expensive, and it has limited availability of what shows and movies, and occasionally even what seasons. With these two sites, you should be able to bypass Netflix completely.

The first one is Project Free TV. This is a great site that has TV shows and movies up nearly the second that they are released. It is an easy site to browse because of how well each link is catalogued, and I have yet to find a show that isn't listed on it. Best of all, very few firewalls from schools or offices manage to block this, because it has a .me url.

The Project Free TV logo

The only real downfall to this website is the low video quality. This can be resolved by testing several of the links for each episode for the fastest buffering times, and the highest quality video and audio, but having to test each link is another major downfall, because with Netflix, the link is guaranteed to be a good one almost every time. Project Free TV is my favorite entertainment website besides Hulu by far.

Here is a site for those who want free, high quality action movies, even if they might not be that great. The site is called Crackle. It is alot like Hulu, because it is set up in a similar manner, it has good quality and fast streaming, but it too has commercials. If you can get past this, Crackle can be a very fun site.

Crackle's Logo

Hopefully, with the power of both of these sites, as well as the websites from my Free Video Entertainment post, you will never run out of videos to watch on the internet.

Hacking and Cheating Flash Games with Arcade Trainer

2012-02-26T09:55:00.001-06:00

I already made a post about Arcade PreHacks, but this is a completely new way to cheat the system with games. The best thing about this system is that it doesn't just work for single player games, it works for all flash games, even the ones that can only be accessed on the game's own personal website. This site is called Arcade Trainer.

The Arcade Trainer Home Page

This works by first downloading the trainer that cheats the game of your choice. The next step is to fun the file while playing the game. It should give you several options for what and how you cheat on the game based on the trainer itself. I have found this to be very fun and effective, and I loved the look on my friends face when my account on Adventure Quest was better than his in an hour, and he had been playing for months!

Have fun with this, and please use it responsibly.

Anti-Joke Chicken Meme Plus Some Extra Anti Jokes

2012-02-24T20:54:00.001-06:00

Anti-Jokes are jokes that seem to have a bad cheesy ending, but end up with something shockingly different. You have to just see what I mean. When I first found out about these, I couldn't stop looking them up. Here is a sample:

These can be hard to find, because they aren't made in as great a quantity as other memes, but if you want more, visit the Anti-Joke Chicken Category on Memebase. If you want a truly limitless supply of Anti Jokes (that are just text based), you can visit AntiJoke. One of their top jokes is:

What's worse than finding a worm in your apple?

The Holocaust.

I hope this type of humor is to your taste!

Scumbag Steve Meme

2012-02-23T22:34:00.000-06:00

You know that guy that everyone just hates? Well on the internet, that man is Scumbag Steve, a guy who is just plain inconsiderate. Everyone knows someone like him, and they express him through Scumbag Steve. He may not always be seen in this meme, but his hat is almost always there. Enjoy!

I hope you liked all of these, they are one of my lesser favorites, but I still get a kick out of them. If you guys have any more suggestions for future articles, please leave them in the bottom comments section, trust me, I will listen. If you crave more visit Memebase.

ALL The Things! Meme

2012-02-23T08:30:00.000-06:00

All The Things Meme is hard to explain, but it is usually used wen someone wants to show a level of extremism, or just make a bad pun. You really don't know what you are looking at until you actually go in and start poking around. Enjoy!

As you can see, these can be very hit or miss, but it really allows for a ton of types of jokes without getting stale. Have fun finding these and making these yourselves. More can be found on the All the Things Category on Memebase. I hope you like these!

Bear Grylls Meme

2012-02-22T21:51:00.002-06:00

Who like to drink their own piss! Hopefully nobody said "me!", but if Bear Grylls is anywhere nearby, I'm sure he would proudly raise his hand. His thing for drinking his own urine is what inspired this next meme, the Bear Grylls meme.

This might be a kind of gross, but anyone who enjoys Bear Grylls is sure to enjoy his meme. For more of these, visit the Bear Grylls Category on Memebase. I hope you guys like this collection!

High Expectations Asian Dad Meme

2012-02-22T12:36:00.002-06:00

Sorry again readers for the long time without any posts. Lets cut to the chase, one of my favorite memes of all times is the High Expectations Asian Dad Meme. If you can get past the fact that it is a little bit racist, just about anyone can enjoy this (but be warned, it can get pretty old, pretty fast). Im not going to explain it, because you should be able to figure it out pretty fast.

I hope you enjoyed these, even if they are a little bit offensive. If you love it and crave some more, visit the High Expectations Asian Dad Category on Memebase. Feel free to leave comments. By the way, I am going to be doing most of my posts about memes for a while until I feel satisfied. Just tell me if you guys get tired.

Free Video Entertainment

2011-10-22T12:28:00.000-05:00

Sorry for the long time without a post, school has been really busy recently, and I just haven't had any time. I'll kick things off with possibly the most popular way to entertain yourself on the internet, Videos. When you think of internet videos, the first thing you'll think is Youtube. It is a great site, but it isn't the best in all situations. Here is a site for every situation.

Youtube

Youtube is great when it comes to browsing independent videos, viral video, and just plain funny stuff. Youtube is mostly short (under 15 minute) videos, and it is mostly just people with webcams or video cameras, but if you are willing to look, the funniest things you will find are out there on Youtube. Don't expect anything inappropriate, because Youtube is heavily moderated.

Vimeo

Vimeo is Youtube's competitor. While Vimeo has a smaller selection, they make up for it with what they allow to be published. They moderate it less heavily, so some great videos stay in that Youtube would normally take out. Another plus, some schools and businesses block Youtube, but often, they don't block Vimeo.

Hulu

Hulu is by far the best way to legally watch TV on the internet. It carries most shows that run on TV, and it is completely free, except for the few adds you have to watch during the video. Hulu typically carries the 5 most recent episodes from a TV show, and they are all in high quality. When you make an account, you can connect to Facebook and easily share your thoughts about episodes. Hulu even carries some movies that are usually not great, but some of them are my favorites. If you want to be able to see any episode of any show at any time in HD, you can subscribe to Hulu Plus. It costs $7.99 USD per month, and it even gives you access to great movies.

70 GB Free Online Storage

2011-07-31T10:41:00.000-05:00

Lets face it readers, we aren't made of money, and when our hard disks are full of music and funny pictures we get online, we can't just give up right there. I have done some investigation, and have found sites that give you free storage. Don't worry about their legitimacy, because I took the time to check them all out and make sure they all work like they advertise. Because this storage is online, you can access it from anywhere, and often, you can share your stored information with whoever you want. Here is a list:

Mimedia: 7 free GB of storage that you can share with anyone you wish.

The Mimedia icon

ADrive: Get this, 50 GB free storage, just make sure to select the free plan and not the 14 day free trial. It comes with an easy user interface, and you can share your files as well.

ADrive's logo and signature storage

Dropbox: 2 GB of free storage, but probably the easiest one out there to use, and my personal favorite.

The Dropbox logo

Box: 5 GB of free storage. There is a 25 MB limit on each file, so this is recommended for images, various documents, and smallish video and audio files.

The Box logo

Amazon Cloud Drive: Made by the famous Amazon.com, you get 5 GB free to do whatever you wish with. Also, all mp3s you download from Amazon are automatically stored in your drive.

The Amazon Cloud Drive logo

FileDen: 1 GB free storage that can be shared with whoever you want.

The FileDen logo

Well, that's all I have for you guys. There are more file storage sites out there for you, but they are for specific files, or require you to own a PC, but I would still check them out. Just Google: Free Online Storage.

Here is the final tally: 70 GB Free!

Flash Game: ShellShock Live

2011-06-24T13:16:00.001-05:00

This is a game this is very much like the multiplayer game, Tanks, and some would say it is just a ripoff of it. Well, it pretty much is, but they have added one really cool feature that makes this game really stand out. Instead of having multiplayer for just the 2-4 people sitting in front of the computer, you can play this online with other people. The game features a variety of terrain, weapons, amount of players, and game settings. It has many factors that are involved with the gameplay, so it takes a while to get boring. This game holds my attention for about two hours every day (though I don't play it every day), so it is a great time kill. Now, without further delay, ShellShock Live:

Hey readers! A great new development has happened to the Good Thinking Network, we hava a YouTube channel! Here is the link: Good Thinking Channel. That's not all, I uploaded a video that I made with the help of my two brothers called Gun Fight. It seems like an intense action sequence in the beginning, but it all ends with one comedic gun shot at the end. The funny thing is, it wasn't supposed to be a comedy, but it is just hilarious.

PreHacked Flash Games

2011-06-19T15:36:00.000-05:00

Is there that one Flash Game online that you just can't beat? There is a solution, Arcade PreHacks. Arcade PreHacks is just like a normal online flash game site, except all the games have been hacked to give you things like infinite time, lives, ammo, or money, or just make it so you can't lose.

It is pretty simple. People that are pretty fluent with Java or Flash take the game's script, and edit it to give you an upper hand in some sort of a way. Just about any game that you can find online has been hacked by someone and put on Arcade PreHacks. One thing that I would personally have to recommend is actually playing the game first on a site like Armor Games or Newgrounds first. If you just play the hacked version first, you can't really appreciate how much easier it is, and it will just fell like a ridiculously easy game. One last thing is if there isn't a hack for a game that you like, you can request it on their site using the Request Your Hacks button.

Now, just to give you a taste of it, here is the hacked version of GemCraft, the flash game from the most recent post. Remember, play the non-hacked GemCraft first!

Flash Game- GemCraft

2011-06-19T12:22:00.000-05:00

This flash game is pure strategy, and it takes alot of thought, I have never got even close to beating. It is called, GemCraft. It is a tower defense game. That means you place the towers or turrets along the path the enemy has to travel to get to their objective, and the towers/turrets operate on their own to try to destroy the enemy before they get to the objective. The towers can usually be upgraded, but in gem craft, it is more complicated. You have to combine gems and place them in towers to get the correct mix that is best at defeating enemies. Here is the game:

Enjoy! Feel free to post how far you have gotten in the comments.
