Une présentation publique de l'installation "Welcome to the jungle" aura lieu à la galerie des grands bains douches de la Plaine * le jeudi 9 février à partir de 19H00.

You’re in the jungle baby ! You’re gonna die ! »

En 1987, le poète William Bruce Rose Jr. annonçait par « Bienvenue dans la jungle » l’avènement de l’urbanité sauvage ; un désordre global à venir dans lequel chaque humain deviendrait un barbare pour ses semblables.

L'innovation, entropie funeste productrice de technologies, met en péril le principe d'individualité collective déterminant pour la civilisation.

“Welcome to the Jungle” est une invitation à l’accalmie. La technique, devenue imperceptible, se soustrait au retour d’une présence humaine.

À venir en février 2012, à la Galerie des Grands Bains Douches de la Plaine de Marseille, présentation de l'installation éphémère "Welcome to the Jungle". Cette réalisation sera la continuité de la pièce montrée lors du BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) qui a eut lieu au printemps 2011 dans ce même lieu.

A reference to the failed invasion of Denmark in the 18th century in Iceland. Icelandics people simply said "go west, there is an island greener (Greenland)" ... I'm not sure about this history.
