Necromancy
To acquire Necromancy, complete the Batraal Chronicles quest level. In order to use this spell, you must have Elrik. He is the only person able to use this spell, unless you have a Lich readily available. This powerful spell brings back any unit and turns it into a ghost.

Angel Knight With Bane And Lich With Virtue
When you get a Lich it is always of the alignment Bane and an Angel Knight is always Virtue. However, if you use the Urn Of Chaos on an Angel Knight its alignment will change to Bane. If you use the Tome Of Discipline on a Lich, its alignment will be changed to Virtue.

Ultimate Archer
Equip a character with the four Enchanted Hunting Wares. The movement range increases significantly if all four are equipped.

Human Dragon
Have A Character Equip All Four Dragon Items. The Person's Element Determines Which Dragon Breath They Receive As A 'special'. Equip These Four Items: Dragon Helm, Dragon Armor, Dragon Shield, Dragon Eyes. Then, Your Character's Element Will Be Expressed In Dragon Breath

Wind: Thunder Breath (stuns)
Fire: Fire Breath (confuses)
Earth: Poison Breath (poisons)
Water: Water Breath (puts asleep)
The 'Special' Breath will cost 25 MP, and you will no longer have a weapon, but only a shield.

Character and item duplication
Note: This trick requires a link cable and another Tactics Ogre game. Make a backup save of the character and items to be duplicated. Go into your backup save. Trade off your item or character with the other game then reset your game. Reload it then load your original game and trade off again to get your character or item. Repeat this as many times as needed.

Lock all characters except the one to be duplicated. Equip the character to be duplicated with any weapons/armors/spells that you want to duplicate. Hire two soldiers (or use any two that you do not care if lost) and put them at the end in "XYZ" order, with the one to be duplicated last "Z". Get into a fight, using character "Y" in the battle and allow him to be killed. This does not have to be real battle, however if its training the character has to use a Snapdragon. After winning the battle, go to the menu, select "Sort" then "Execute". Confirm it, then cancel all the way out by pressing B. Go to any shop and sell all equipment that the duplicated character had equipped, including spells. To sell the items, sell 99 of it, then sell 58 plus however many you originally had and you will end up with 99 of that item. When done, you will have two characters with the same stats, name, items, and 99 of all equipment and spells that character had originally had, plus more money.

To get unlimited number of Snapdragon Swords, Pearl Necklaces, Circlet Of Wisdoms, etc., follow the character and item duplication hint, but as you cannot sell, just try to equip another character with it after it says 2/1. It can even go beyond 50/1. To "sell", or dispose, unequip until the number is 1/1. Then, do the trick again to get the items again. This also works
with "sellable" items.

Another way to duplicate pearl (before Sotavento) necklace is to first select a weapon/armor. Then, select Eleanor. Put the Hand Over Pearl Necklace and press L. This only works if you followed the step above. Equip someone else with it. Go the Eleanor's equipment, select "Ideal Type", "Power Type", or "Release All". She will be re equipped with it. It will then read 2/1, giving you unlimited necklaces.

Let me take it up a little." And she will then become the famous Deneb from all previous Ogre Battle games. In Scabellum in place of the regular shop, you will now enter Deneb's secret shop. Which sells powerful equipment such as the Candy armor, shield, and helm. All of which costs 2,200 goth a piece and is very strong for a good way into the game. If you find all five of Deneb's lucky glass pumpkins and sell them to her shop you will open up the Fire Crest which is one of the strongest pieces of defense equipment in the game. It costs 32,000 goth but is well worth the investment as for its ludicrous elemental defense bonuses.

In the room before battling Count Lee, there are four bats flying around. If you kill each one, you may get an object. After a few seconds, the bats reappear. Keep killing them and after awhile you will get easy experience.

Polter Boxes
Every time you defeat a Polter Box, you will get a very good item such as materials, seeds, icons and even coins. However, in some locations, you cannot find a Polter Box. Try to get it by hitting the Polter Box icon using the treasure chest left behind by an enemy that you just killed. Note: Only some treasure chest contain the Polter Box icon. Others will have spikes, stones etc.

Escape The Mana Shrine
Get past the mana Sanctuary easily - after you go past the gold statue and the hot house head (by screen) north, east, south, west, west, north.

Fake Bait
This is difficult to do, but it works if activated correctly. If a Magic detecting monster is coming, switch to your knucks and use a magic move, make it miss the magic detector and hit it from behind. You will have about 5 seconds to run. Warp to World 4
In level 1-3 go to the area just before the brick background. Pick up the plants until you get a bottle. Then go past the brick background until you find a pot and throw the bottle on it. Go through the door and down the pot into World 4.

Top Secret Area
On the world map, go to the donut plains ghost house. You must have a feather for this to work. Enter the ghost house. Walk right until you get to a hole. Turn around and run to the left (hold b) Jump into air and you will fly because you have the feather. On the ceiling there is a gap to the left. Fly into it and land to the right of the gap. Walk until you fall down the first hole you come accross. Go through the door down the bottom of the hole and finish the level. You have unlocked a new level above the ghost house. You can get mushrooms, fire flowers and feathers and yoshis. Don't forget to save!

Soda Lake
Are you tired of looking for ways in the 'cheese bridge area' to unlock the level below it 'Soda Lake'? Here's how to do it. You need the feather so you can fly. At the start of the level take off and fly till you go past the chainsaws near the end of the level. You will see the end goal.

Finding White Mushroom Houses
If you get enough coins in certain levels, you will find a White Mushroom House back on the map. Here are the minimum amount of coins you need to pick up at the following levels:

World 1, Level 4 -- 44 coins
World 2, Level 2 -- 30 coins
World 3, Level 8 -- 42 coins
World 4, Level 2 -- 22 coins
World 5, Level 5 -- 28 coins
World 6, Level 7 -- 78 coins
World 7, Level 2 -- 42 coins

The White Mushroom Houses in Worlds 1, 3, 5, and 7 give you P Wings, while the White Mushroom Houses in Worlds 2, 4, and 6 give you Anchors.

Secret Warp Whistle In Fortress 1
To do this you need to have a Racoon Suit. Once you have the Racoon Suit, go near the end of the first room you appear in. At the end of the room, you should see a door and a Dry Bones. Quickly take out the Dry Bones and go near the door and run so you can fly until you can no longer go up. While you're in the air, keep going right until you end up in a room with a small chest holding a Warp Whistle. Once you have the Warp Whistle you will not have to fight Boom, Boom. (the boss of the fortress)

Selecting Worlds and Redoing Levels
Once you've deafeted Bowser, you can select your own world and redo the levels you've beaten in the past, but you can't redo fortesses and castles.

No More Dry Bones
To make Dry Bones disappear, make him into a pile of bones and the walk across the screen until you can no longer see him. Then go back and he will be gone.

Life Swapping

Incase you don't no what a Roto-Disc is, it's the diso balllike enemy that rotates around a metal ball.

Secret Room In World 8-2
To find the secret room in world 8-2, go to the first sinking sand, go in it and let your self sink. When you at the bottom you will see your self in a secret room with two pipes. Both pipes lead to different rooms. After you get out of one of the pipes you just went in, you will end up near the end of the level.

Lots Of Lives
First go to level 1-2. Go about half-way through the level until there is a pirana plat by some coins in the air. Below the plat there are two bricks, smah the one with the P block and smash it. While the coins are bricks, run up and go to the right of the pirana plant. Jump and a 1-Up mushroom will pop up. Quickly grab the mushroom and go into the tunnel. When you come out of the tunnel, do this process over and over until time runs out and you will have a bunch of lives.

Warp to World 8
Once you've got two warp whistles you can use them both to instantly end up in World 8.

Underwater Shortcut
There is an easy way to beat the ship level (after the tank level) in the final world. Just swim under below the ships. Keep pressing A so you won't sink too deep and die.

Special Suit Trick
Go to a mushroom house and pick a chest. If it contains a suit, get a game over. Now select continue. The levels you have beaten will not be reset, only the mushroom houses and the slot machine games. After continuing, go back to the same mushroom house where you've received the suit. No matter what chest you pick, you will always find a copy of the same suit. Repeat this trick to get as many suits as you want.

Warp Flutes
Warp Flute 1: In world one, level three, go near the end of the level until you see a white block. Step onto this white block and duck, and after a while you will fall behind it. Stay behind the backround while going all the way to the end of the level.

Warp Flute 2: In world one's fortress, go to the area where the ceiling is open (it is just before a door with a skeleton koopa). Make sure you have a raccoon leaf. Fly up above the screen and then move to the end at the right. There should be a hidden doorway.

Warp Flute 3: In world two, go to the top right corner of the map. Use a hammer to break a boulder up there, and then continue to the right to find a hammer brother. Beat him to get the flute.

In world 5-3 come up to the surface and throw the shell on the ground there, it will keep bouncing off of the walls back and forth. Jump and land on the shell and wait for the birds to drop the bombs. Instant Reset
To trigger the game's built-in soft reset and restart the game without using the power switch, simply hit the following buttons at the same time: Select + Start + A + B.

Level Warps
Warp to World 4: In level 1-3 go to the area just before the brick background. Pick up the plants until you get a bottle. Then go past the brick background until you find a pot and throw the bottle on it. Go through the door and down the pot into World 4.

Warp to World 5
To warp to level 5, first get to level 3-1. When you enter the first door, fall all the way down. You have to be in the middle as you fall. When you stop, you will find a platform with a door. Enter the door, then look for the potion in the grass. Pick it up, then throw it on the ground, enter the door in cyberspace, and go into the vase and you will be at level 5.

Warp to World 6
In level 4-2 In the area with the whales find a bottle and throw it on the next pot. Enter the doorway and go down the pot into World 6.

Warp to World 7
Work your way to level 5-3. (It would be a good idea to choose Luigi for this level because of his superb jumping skills.) Go up the ladder at the beginning of the level, and then jump up onto the ledge above the ladder. As soon as you get on top of the ledge, grab the first grass on the right. It is a potion. Use the potion and go through the door. Now, while in sub-space, go down through the jar and voila! Now you're in Level 7.

Suspend Game
While playing a game, press Select + R to suspend the game without turning it off. Press Select + L to resume.

As many lives as you wish for
When in level 1-1, when you go in the door on the ground towardsthe end, you will see a little creature and two roots. Dispose of all of them by throwing them at the 1-up bubble. Get the extra man (not necesary to get as many lives as you want). Next climb up the vine, pick up the last root (closest to the the creatures), wait for the one closest to you to land on the ground, then throw the radish at it. When it hits the last creature, you will get 1-up! Go back down the vine then climb back up and do it over and over again!

99 Lives on Level 5-3 (alternate)
(This may seem like a lot of work for 99 guys, but if you are playing the game and have to complete the level anyway, why not refill your men)

While going though level 5-3...(this is when you've already accended the ladder from the start of the level, walked past all the birds dropping bombs, decended the second ladder to go back underground, walked to the left to the Tree with the door and gone through). When you decend inside the tree, then make your way up back to the top...you'll be approached by a walking fire plant. Right near (actually before he comes) there will be a pot vase that you can go inside. Once inside, you will land on a 4 shy guy ferris wheel...just on top of one of the shy guys. Pick him up, then as you ride around, just as you get to about the 9 o'clock position, throw the shy guy to the right, he should take out 2 guys at a time...even if you just get one, you get a 1 up per hit. Then as you hit the top of the "ride", jump up to exit the pot, then go right back down to be in the same position, to do it all over again.

Now what's good about this is, there's no way to loose a heart or get killed this way, plus, after you master how to throw the shy guys, you'll only have to do it a real fast bunch of times to get 99 lives. Like I said, it's not the fastest method to go and get 99 lives, but if you have to clear that level anyway, it's definently a spot to visit on that level, for a non-threatening 99 guys.

Select Yoshi as a Playable Character
To select Yoshi as a playable character you must succesfully collect all 40 Yoshi eggs in the Yoshi challenge mode.To see that it has been unlocked Yoshi will hatch from his egg on the title screen.

Yoshi Challenge Mode
To get the Yoshi Challenge mode you must succesfully beat Super Mario Bros. 2. After you have defeated the last boss you will unlock the Yoshi Challenge. To know that you have unlocked it there will be a Yoshi egg at the title screen.

World 7-1: Find Green Yoshi Egg
From start, climb up the ladder. Walk right to a pillar with a single plant on it, and lift it up for a potion. Throw the potion to the left before the Bob-ombs destroy the walkway, then enter Subspace to find the Green Yoshi Egg.

World 7-1: Find Red Yoshi Egg
Make your way to the area with tall ladders that lead to the boss door. Climb up and you'll see two pillars on either side of the screen. Pull the plant on the right pillar to get a potion, then jump across to the cloud that supports the left pillar. Drop the potion and enter Subspace to find the Red Yoshi Egg.

World 7-2: Find Blue Yoshi Egg
From start, go right and enter the castle. Run all the way to the right and climb the chain, then walk left and climb the next chain. Go up and look for a door on the left side of the screen. Next, go down through another door. Pull the plant on the right to get a potion, then drop it to enter Subspace and find the Blue Yoshi Egg.

World 7-2: Find Light-Blue Yoshi Egg
From start, go right and enter the castle. Walk right and shimmy down the first chain, which allows you to go downward. Continue down through the Mushroom Blocks and enter the door at the bottom. Walk right, go through the door, then walk left and grab the potion. Walk back to the right, and throw the potion near the upper-right pillar. Enter Subspace to grab the Light-Blue Yoshi Egg.

Bald Birdo Trick
Start on any level and pick your character as Toad, complete the level, then when you face Birdo ( the dinosaur that spits eggs at you! .) As soon as she has fired an egg at you jump on her head and you can pull her bow off!. Now Birdo will be bald!

Note: This code is not a cheat it is just for fun.

Play as Bowser
First, go to the Map Screen. Press R, R, L, L, B, B, A, A, Select, Select, B. Note: Do this fast. If you did it correctly, you should hear Mario say "Mamma-mia! It's Bowser!" Then, turn off the Game Boy Advance. Turn it on, then when you go to the map screen, you will see Bowser dancing on the level you are on. Press Select to become a Bowser with a blue shell and B to go to the normal red shelled Bowser.

Link's Awakening Cameo
The final boss Wart, is the EXACT same character from "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening". This guy is the frog who gives you the "Frog's Song of the Soul". (You can find his lair after you complete the "Signpost Maze")
