In particular FEEM is seeking 2-3 Marie Curie Fellow candidates to pursue research in the&lt;br /&gt;

Applicants should have:&lt;br /&gt;
- a PhD degree in environmental or natural resource economics, environmental&lt;br /&gt;
management or research experience of more than 4 years in relevant areas of&lt;br /&gt;
environmental or ecological economics,&lt;br /&gt;
- strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and ability to conduct research independently,&lt;br /&gt;
- publication record proportional to their research experience,&lt;br /&gt;
- previous experience from international research projects would be a strong asset.&lt;br /&gt;
Marie Curie opportunities vary according to the country of residence:&lt;br /&gt;
- researchers from a Member State or Associated Country may opt for an Intra-European&lt;br /&gt;
Fellowship for Career Development (IEF)&lt;br /&gt;
- researchers from third countries may opt for an International Incoming Fellowship (IIF).&lt;br /&gt;

The Climate Policy Initiative is opening positions for Junior and Senior Analysts. CPI is looking for highly skilled and&lt;br /&gt;
motivated researchers to provide research and analytical support for the regional offices.&lt;br /&gt;

Under the supervision of the Office Director, researchers will design and manage complex research assignments, both&lt;br /&gt;
within the office and in conjunction with other CPI offices worldwide. Researchers will demonstrate exceptional&lt;br /&gt;
quantitative skills, a proven interest in climate change/ clean technology research, written and oral communication skills,&lt;br /&gt;
and an ability to generate actionable rather than academic insights.&lt;br /&gt;
This position will work on projects of both national and international scope. Researchers will work in a challenging&lt;br /&gt;
environment that requires detail‐oriented, independent work, quick thinking, and professional interactions.&lt;br /&gt;
Successful candidates will be expected to pursue robust and careful quantitative analysis. Methodological approaches may&lt;br /&gt;
include game‐theoretical analysis of incentive effects, finance, public economics and taxation, dynamic modelling of&lt;br /&gt;
consumer and firm decisions, including empirical calibration and testing, and applied micro‐economics and applied&lt;br /&gt;
econometrics. Their track record of publications should reflect their level of experience.&lt;br /&gt;
To facilitate international learning and identification of best practice, the work will be pursued in close cooperation with CPI&lt;br /&gt;
teams in other parts of the world, and in close discussion with stakeholders from policy, finance and corporate world.&lt;br /&gt;
Previous experience with climate policy, carbon markets and regulation would be valuable.&lt;br /&gt;

Ensures effective micro management of the project under the supervision and guidance of the Project Coordinator focusing on the following results:&lt;br /&gt;Ensure the appropriateness of project implementation in the areas of contract/assets/procurement, finance, and human resources. &lt;br /&gt;Provision of technical assistances to the partners as required &lt;br /&gt;Effective coordination and supervision of  Project Assistants &lt;br /&gt;Coordination and liaison with other PO &lt;br /&gt;Oversee and ensure timely implementation of all the project activities. &lt;br /&gt;Establishment of monitoring framework with partners in the field, including performance indicators. &lt;br /&gt;Conducts monitoring of project activities, including field visits, to assess overall project implementation with respect to project objectives, outputs, and indicators, and when necessary suggest corrective measures to be undertaken. &lt;br /&gt;Provides reports on field monitoring trips that incorporate operational and programmatic concerns and remedial actions to address these concerns. &lt;br /&gt;Undertakes trouble-shooting of project problems and suggest corrective actions where necessary; &lt;br /&gt;Assist in developing terms of references, including for consultants and monitoring missions. &lt;br /&gt;Serves as Acting Project Coordinator in his/her  absence; and &lt;br /&gt;Performs other relevant duties as required. &lt;br /&gt;3. Ensures effective communication and provision of reporting materials related to the project focusing on achievement of the following results:&lt;br /&gt;Develop solid relations with relevant Government departments, civil society groups, and other project partners particularly at local levels. &lt;br /&gt;Maintain communications with partner organizations in the field to coordinate and troubleshoot programmatic and operational issues. &lt;br /&gt;Collection , management, and processing of  data related to the project as required &lt;br /&gt;Assist Program Coordinator in the preparation of project status reports for UNDP, and for submission to donors, Government and other partners. &lt;br /&gt;Incorporation of lesson learned and best practices to the project implementation processes. &lt;br /&gt;Sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice. &lt;br /&gt;III. The site provides nearly two million visitors a month with timely information and serves as a symbol of the institution’s transparency and willingness to work with clients around the world. It is the Bank’s most important tool for sharing knowledge, communicating our activities, and demonstrating our effectiveness to the world. Improving the quality and presentation of information on our site is critical to fulfill the Bank’s development and communications goals. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Environment Department is looking for a consultant to serve as Web Editor for the external websites www.worldbank.org/environment and www.worldbank.org/climatechange and provide support in managing internal web-based outreach. This position requires knowledge of development and poverty reduction issues as they relate to issues including Climate Change, Biodiversity, Coastal and Marine Management and Environmental Health.  The candidate should have the ability to conceptualize and execute complex editorial activities, have a proven eye for design and detail, be results-oriented, and capable of managing conflicting priorities while working with a diverse set of colleagues. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Responsibilities: &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Environment Department Web Topic Editor will: &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. UNAIDS is the Joint United Nations Programme on AIDS and is one of the main Co Sponsors of the 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Indonesia has been successfully selected as the host of the 9th ICAAP by ASAP, which will take place from 9 – 13 August 2009 in Nusa Dua, Bali. The theme of the 9th ICAAP is “Empowering People; Strengthening Networks.” It underscores a movement for change and highlights the importance of inclusiveness and participative engagement in the Asia Pacific region’s response to HIV and AIDS. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has been established by a consortium of Indonesian AIDS activists to ensure a smooth operation of the organization, management, implementation and reporting of the 9th ICAAP. ASAP has also formed an International Advisory Committee (IAC) to provide guidance and assistance to the LOC and ensure that the goals of ICAAP are fully realized during the implementation of the Congress.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The LOC realizes that the responsibility for the organization, administration, implementation and hosting of the 9th ICAAP is a major undertaking and will require support by stakeholders at all levels—international, national and local. This is reflected in the organization of the committees and the sub-committees within the LOC which is working to ensure broad representation, interacting not only with academics or government departments but also reaching out to include the civil society and groups working with young people, women groups, faith based organizations, marginalized population such as injecting drug users, sex workers, LGBT and organizations of people living with HIV (PLHIV).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A full time secretariat is needed to support and assist the LOC in administering and coordinating the preparation for and implementation of the 9th ICAAP. SERASI seeks individuals for the position of: &lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="fullpost"&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Title  : Personnel and Administration Manager&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;Department : HR &amp; Administration&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Supervisor : Operations Manager&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Location : Jakarta&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;General Description of Role : &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Personnel and Administration Manager is responsible for human resources (personnel), logistics, and office operations functions for the project including the establishment, operation and upkeep of office facilities and administrative project support functions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Main Responsibilities :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.
