ZTE to come up with Six Tablet PCs Next Year
In a press conference with the members of Chinese press, Wang Yong, deputy general manager for mobile broadband unit of ZTE, unveiled the company’s latest strategy as part of the overall plan to compete with the leading tablet computer manufacturers in the market today.

To date, Apple Inc’s iPad remained to be the leading choice among tablet users, selling millions of units worldwide.

Sought for comment, company spokespersons confirmed the plan, saying that the new device would be called ZTE Light.

Unveiled during a technology exhibition in Beijing, the Chinese technology firm said that the new device will feature a 7-inch touchscreen interface – slightly smaller than the iPad. But the real deal would come from its ability to make phone calls – not available in the iPad – much like the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is another key player in the younger tablet computer market.

However, the official refused to give the exact specifications for the device, which remained a “top secret” project for the Chinese firm.

According to the company, the new ZTE Light will be sold in Europe through its leading wireless carriers. There are also plans to launch the new device in the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions early 2011.

Meanwhile, Wang said that the company plans to sell the ZTE Light to China’s domestic market by the end of this year to catch up with the holiday shopping, or by the first week of January next year.

Another tablet computer is being developed that would allow Chinese users to operate the device on TD-SCDMA 3G standard used by China Mobile – the country’s biggest wireless network provider.

The company plans to sell the ZTE Light for $449, but said that the final price for the device would depend on the mobile network provider.

Meanwhile, ZTE’s closest rival Huawei has earlier launched its own tablet computer called the S7, which is a 7-inch touchscreen device that can also make phone calls. The device is already available United Kingdom, Australia and in the United States.

Dell Inspiron Duo Tablet Computer

Dell Inspiron Duo Tablet Computer
Compared to all netbooks in the market, Inspiron Duo features a flip hinge that covers and exposes a physical keyboard, allowing it to be transformed into a tablet computer. Another notable thing is that it runs on an Intel Atom processor for better performance in multimedia and gaming applications.

Meanwhile, the tablet-and-netbook computer uses Windows 7 Home Premium, although its components are not strong and fast enough to handle this OS.

In terms of design, the Inspiron Duo has a 10-inch screen which can be flipped vertically, thus turning itself from a tablet into a netbook, or vice versa. The lid, on the hand, somewhat resembles a picture frame with its rubbery plastic borders that may come in blue and red, while the interior is lined with gray aluminum.

And because this device has a physical keyboard, it is twice heavier than the Apple iPad 2 (1.35 pounds).

The keyboard is slightly undersized (about 95 percent of a full-size) although it still provides an “acceptable” typing experience. In addition, this feature is complemented with touchpad and mouse buttock which are relatively responsive; in fact, most people will probably use them more than the touch screen which is slightly sluggish.

Most of the problems will arise in the tablet mode, aggravated by the fact that Windows 7 does not offer a usable virtual keyboard. However, one major benefit of this OS is it allows users to run all their favorite applications without going to an app store.

Microsoft Kin One Phone

Microsoft Kin One Social Network Phone
The phone is named “Kin One” (its more powerful version is named “Kin Two) which will be available in the US next month through Verizon Wireless before being introduced to other European countries.

While there are countless of phones designed for social networking, Microsoft’s latest product does not stand out from the rest, or if it does, it is because it lacks features that would be considered by most consumers as deal-breakers.

One of the most disturbing downsides of this phone is the lack of application support despite the proliferation of smartphones in the market which offer thousands of apps. Take for example Android phones, iPhone models, and BlackBerry phones which can support thousands of applications ranging from games, music, office use, to entertainment and GPS technology.

Another deal-breaker is the phone’s OS. Using the current mobile technology of Microsoft, the company did not incorporate the Windows 7 operating system which could have made the mobile phone more powerful. However, the company has promised that this OS will be available in the new version which will be introduced tentatively in the fourth quarter of this year.

While the technology giant boasts that Kin One is highly-designed for young consumers addicted to social networking, surprisingly, the phone does not allow users to share photos and videos through microblogging Twitter. Such downside is such a waste since the phone has a relatively impressive built-in camera which has 5-megapixel resolutions, auto flash (which makes it possible to capture images in low-light condition), and other image technologies.

On the brighter side, the phone has touch sensitive screen, media player which is powered by Zune, 4 gigabytes (which can store up to 1,000 songs), and lastly, cheaper price compared to most popular smartphones.

However, a cheap price does not make the phone worthy of purchase for most users especially for those who are web-centric denizens or those who rely on their phones for certain business applications like word document and PDF file support.
SANYO PDG-DHT100L
This HD projector also features a dual lamp system that works by increasing the light output. With this feature, people can use this device in different lighting conditions, from the brightest to the dimmest room. This technology has also been integrated with 6500 lumens (this is a unit of light based on its power), allowing this projector to display light that is highly sensitive to the human eyes.

According to Sanyo vice president Mark Holt, the PDG-DHT100L has been specifically designed to support impressive graphics even in brightly lit rooms, adding that this is also ideal in large areas including halls, auditoriums, and theaters.

Another notable feature is the optical engine designed with dust-resistant seal. This special design is further complemented with Active Maintenance Filter (AMF) which prevents dust from entering the lamp while monitoring airflow. With these combined technologies, the projector’s durability will be longer compared to other models in the market.

Most projectors have shorter lamp light because the design does not allow the system to have intervals. With this common problem, Sanyo has used a special design for the PDG-DHT100L which uses two-lamp system. This is how the design works: the main lamp will automatically shut down after a certain period of time (or when it has detected that it has been used for a long period of time) and the back-up lamp will light up. With this interval function, the lamp system can have longer lifespan compared to projectors which only use one source of light.

To support HD images, this projector has been designed to be compatible with Sanyo’s Uncompressed HD Data Wireless Transfer System, allowing the device to project pictures with 1080i or 720p. When tested, the HD wireless transfer remained its impressive quality up to a distance of 30 meters.

BeoVision 4 Plasma TV

BeoVision 4 Plasma TV.The prototype television, dubbed as BeoVision 4, is a 103-inch widescreen television that will feature complete media technologies including impressive audio system, high definition video support and home integration capability.

According to the company, the television uses plasma technology that supports bright and vivid images. Another advantage of this flat panel display is that it can provide large surface with thin diameter. It also has a wider viewing angle compared to LCD panels which has reduced view angle in at least one of its direction.

Bang & Olufsen also said that this television will come with an “intelligent” remote control which provides interactive experience for its users who can easily manage all the features of the media center/entertainment device.

With the introduction of this prototype plasma television, the Danish company has created the widest consumer flat screen television which has also been designed to serve as a full media center for people, allowing them to control other home devices including security system, lights, ventilation, and other commonly used appliances. With this capability, home management will be a lot easier for users.

Another impressive feature is the durable design made possible because of the strong aluminum frame which can protect the internal parts from harsh elements. And since plasma technology can last up to 100,000 hours of actual display, this television can last up to 27 years with its image quality still vivid and bright.

Because BeoVision has been designed to provide home cinema viewing experience, it offers impressive image technologies including anti-reflection coated contrast screen which allows viewers to watch programs even in bright lights and automatic picture control which provides vivid and high definition pictures.

iPod Nano 3G TV

iPod Nano 3G TV
Unlike the traditional shape of iPod Nano series, the new Nano 3G TV has been designed to accommodate a “mini-wide screen” 2-inch LCD display which is perfect for watching videos.

Meanwhile, the design of this device allows its manufacturer to fit it with a bigger QVGA display or with a 320 x 240 image resolution.

And unlike the previous models, the picture quality on the new iPod is outstanding considering its small LCD. Though one question users may ask when confronted with a small screen is: “How exactly are you going to watch videos with this?”

According to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the inclusion of video support to the device is only for occasional TV or video watching.

The iPod Nano 3G TV hosts the newest split screen interface, also a first to all iPod models. The split screen works like a “start” button on the computer, the list of tracks and options are listed on the left side of the screen, while pictures, images, and icons are displayed on the right side.

But according to sources, the company still has to perfect the new split screen design to this device as it also hosts a list of major problems. One of the glitches cited is the slow animation of the art/album cover. (Users might need extra seconds just to see what the album cover looks like.)

Also, the CoverFlow interface option which is unique to the iPhone, is also slow. But the new iPod has more than 24-hours of battery life for audio, and five hours for video playback.

The iPod Nano 3G TV also has gaming feature, but only three out of 20 iPod games will be available, which include Ms. Pac-Man, Sudoku, and Tetris.

The 16GB model is available in many colors but the 4GB version is only offered in silver.

According to the company website of Scosche, the developer of this backup battery case, this accessory can provide additional charge to the iPhone 4:

Video: Up to nine hours

Audio: Up to 36 hours

Standby mode: Up to 275 hours

The SwitchBACK Surge G4 is almost the same size of iPhone 4’s, which is a great relief for mobile users who dislike cumbersome devices and accessories. Meanwhile, it has interchangeable polycarbonate back that allows consumers to customize its appearance.

Another notable design is the integrated kickstand which makes it convenient to watch and stream movies, perform video calling, and do landscape media viewing. In addition, its design can protect the iPhone 4’s screen from scratches.

Overall, this battery case is great particularly for business travelers and heavy users of iPhone 4 who do not mind to pay for this accessory.

The SwitchBACK Surge G4 is priced at $79.99

Toyota Hi-CT Car

Toyota Hi-CT Car
The hybrid car runs with 1.5 L petrol and electric engine. With its floor-mounted battery, it can be recharged directly from the mains (its design provides drivers a much better position where they can see better visibility and allows the chassis with a lower center of gravity).

The Hi-CT car has been designed by engineers and inventors to cater to the demands of youth living in an urban setting. It has a total size of 3,330-meter long, 1,695-meter wide, and 1,780 tall.

Since the vehicle adopts an AC100V accessory socket, it would be possible to store electricity. This design is highly-efficient and beneficial to car owners since it will save them from the high-price cost of gasoline and diesel.

The Toyota Company designs this vehicle to effectively recapture loss energy during the process of braking. This ingenuous design converts the kinetic energy into some other form of usable electrical power. The company also utilizes the technology of a special battery system specifically designed to be effective in restoring power.

Another consideration in designing this car is providing a mechanism wherein this would automatically shuts down or minimize energy-consumption during idle periods (such as traffic jams). With this feature, there would be lower fuel-consumption.

The car’s mechanism relies from gasoline and electric motors, a feature which also greatly contributes to the energy-efficient design.

Many experts believe that this hybrid-electric vehicle (internal combustion engine and electric motor) would provide a reliable solution to environmental problems such as pollution, adding that this would lower gas emissions dramatically.

Mio’s new Moov Line

Mio’s new Moov Line
The first two of Mio’s Moov line are the Mio Moov 300 and 310. These both boast 4.3 inch widescreen windows. With more screen, comes more on-screen information and display, making it easier for you to get around. Also these two have text-to-speech functionality. With this, it can announce actual street names for you when making turns, allowing you to stay safe and keep your eyes forward and on the road. The Moov 300 and 310 even come with more than 3.5 million points of interest like restaurants, hotels, and gas stations.

If widescreen isn’t your style, then the other two members of the Moov line family might be your solution to a great GPS device. The Mio Moov 200 and 210 sport a square-shaped display of 3.5 inches. The display is not only bright and clear, but it also has an anti-glare screen which helps you see where you’re going no matter how hard the sun is beating down on you. These two products also come with the handy text-to-speech functionality, helping you stay focused by announcing your important turns in a clear manner. With the 3.5 million points of interest which these two devices have, you will never be out of reach from a much needed gas station or a great place to have dinner.

All four of these products from Mio come with pre-loaded maps of the 50 U.S. States and Puerto Rico as well. The advantages of choosing the Moov 310 and 210 over the Moov 300 and 200 is that the first two mentioned have TMC real-time traffic updates, which can help you avoid those trouble spots. The Moov products come in varying prices, ensuring that there will be a perfect one that will appeal to everyone.

Nikon D3X Digital SLR Camera

Samsung, the manufacturer whose model we are testing, is providing two free pairs with its £2,000 television. But others have said consumers will need to pay for the spectacles separately, which seems a bit of a swizz if you are already forking out for the equivalent of a few months' mortgage on a new set.

We soon find out that the glasses are slightly too sophisticated for their own good. They work using so-called shutter technology, transforming the blurry picture on the television into amazing crisp images that appear to leap out of the screen.

Or at least that's the theory. And when I have tested out the glasses at electronics trade shows over the last two years, they have worked very well.

The glasses operate by tricking your brain, allowing you to take in two separate images – one for the left eye and one for the right eye. The glasses do this by rapidly alternating between lenses, shutting off one eye at a time. You don't notice it doing this, except for when you first put them on and there is a strange flickering sensation as they warm up.

The problem comes when you get up to make a cup of tea, or stop an argument between a two-year-old and her older brother – a frequent occurrence in our house when Angelina Ballerina is up against Total Wipeout. The glasses are clever enough to know when you are no longer watching the screen and switch to normal dark glasses mode. Turn back to the screen, and it takes another few seconds for the glasses to kick into 3D mode. This soon becomes annoying.

Some medics in America have warned you could get headaches while wearing the glasses. None of us suffered from this, though the children did endlessly fidget to stop them slipping off and the instruction manual includes an impressive warning list to cover the manufacturer from any pregnant Avatar fan in a litigious mood. My favourite caveat is: "Some 3D videos many surprise and overexcite viewers."

This was certainly our first reaction, once we had sussed out the glasses. The images are astonishing. What's impressive is not so much the bullets that come flying out of the screen, as the depth of field that 3D gives. You really feel you are having to peer over the heads of the first row of the Twickenham crowd to watch the rugby; when the ballerinas do their jetés, one leg is clearly in front of the other. That sounds unremarkable, but if you have spent a lifetime watching 2D television programmes, it is hard to stop yourself wanting to reach into the screen.

But the wow factor wears off after a while, and the quality is just not as good as the 3D you get in the cinema. Sometimes, the blurry double image appears even when you are wearing the glasses.

Undoubtedly these snags will be ironed out over time, and maybe even before they hit the shelves in May. But the most enthusiastic reaction I could muster from Felix was, “it’s good”. Alexander, his older brother, was a bit more positive with: “yeah, it’s fun”. Celia, the two year old, had a tantrum when she couldn’t get the glasses to fit.

The industry – not just the manufacturers in Asia but also the studios in Hollywood – of course think 3D will be more than just “fun”. Millions ride on it being more than that. "It's quite simply the entertainment revolution of our time," said DreamWorks' chief executive, Jeffrey Katzenberg. "It's as important as the introduction of sound or colour."

Hmm. Katzenberg may be a genius film producer, but I’m not sure he’s got three young children who would break the glasses within weeks, if not days, and who have the ability to flick through twenty channels in the time it takes to boil a kettle.

And that is the other stumbling block for 3D. While Samsung, Panasonic, Sony and LG will all have 3D sets and 3D Blu-ray players on the shelf by May, there is precious little to watch in 3D.

The only content we could view on our set was a disc of Monsters vs Aliens, an animated film that comes free with the Samsung set and 3D Blu-ray player, and a collection of ballet, rugby and tennis clips provided by Sky. And this content, totalling about two hours' worth of footage, is pretty much the sum of 3D currently available in Britain.

Sky announced yesterday that its long-awaited 3D channel will launch in April, allowing the 1.6 million customers with an expensive HD box to enjoy 3D on their 3D telly. But for the first few months it will be a preview channel, showing clips and no more. Not until the start of the next football season will there be any live 3D broadcasts to people’s homes. And it will take a while for the studios to start releasing films, such as Up and Alice in Wonderland, in 3D format.

John Kempner, John Lewis’s head TV buyer – and as a result one of the key people who will decide what will end up in our living rooms – is excited, but believes only a handful of “early adopters” will buy the first sets.

“Will they become as standard as colour sets did in the 1970s? I’m not sure. But one thing’s certain: these 3D sets are still amazing quality 2D televisions. And £2,000 is not a ridiculous amount of money to pay for the very top-of-the-range flat-screen set.”

He’s right. One of the best things about the television is not the 3D itself, but the sharpness of the 2D images it also produces when in normal mode. And that might prove the ultimate selling point – buy a great new TV. It also has 3D. Just don't let your kids fight over the glasses.

Apple ipad 2

Apple didn't need to launch a second-generation iPad. The original commands around 80% of the US tablet market. It is less than a year out of the box.

But when Jobs can improve on one of Apple's products, you can rest assured that he will. Thinner, lighter and faster than its predecessor, the iPad 2 has a smaller footprint than the original – plus two cameras and extra software such as GarageBand.

At 241mm tall, 186mm wide and 8.6mm thick, Apple's iPad 2 is the sleekest tablet computer on the market. Its minimalist outer shell is complemented by a new "smart cover" that removes all the smears that come with thumbing and prodding the screen.

Unlike its older brother, the iPad 2 has rounded edges, meaning it can be held more comfortably for longer. And at 100g lighter, it is noticeably more comfortable to hold than its predecessor, which could become uncomfortable if held in the same position for more than 10 minutes.

The greatest departure from the original iPad is its speed. Apple claims that loading apps, playing games and browsing the internet are up to up to twice as fast as on the original. Certainly, internet browsing is the most striking difference. Fixtures on the average internet page tend to load all at once – Flash excepted, of course – and sometimes five or six seconds ahead of the original iPad.

As an owner of the original iPad, I've never felt that performance was lagging (then again, I also own a 20-month-old iPhone 3G), but the iPad 2's A5 dual core processor makes it much more responsive to touch. The graphics upgrade is really only noticeable when playing £5.99 shoot-em-up games or streaming long-form programming such as the iPlayer.

For most people, I suspect the greatest immediate draw to the iPad 2 will be the cameras. Apple was slammed when it didn't include them in its first edition and later claimed it to be users' most-wanted function. Sadly, the cameras on this device are left wanting. Leaving aside the question of whether people really want to wave a 10inch x 7inch computer around in public, the VGA-quality front and rear-facing cameras – for video and stills – are pixel-poor and not flattered by the iPad's high-quality screen. The rear-facing camera is put to best use with FaceTime, Apple's video-calling function.

Which leads us to software. The iPad 2 includes a string of media apps which first-generation owners won't ever get a look at. Apple's popular music-making software GarageBand (which iPad 1 users can get if they upgrade to iOS 4.3) is great fun and a boon for those with rambunctious young kids knocking about the house. Warning: it doesn't come with headphones so don't turn the volume up too loud.

Apple's movie-making app, iMovie, also finds a new home on the iPad 2. Precision editing was never one of the iPad's strong points – writers bemoan spending hours hovering over misspelt words before the cursor would respond to the change – so the iPad seems an unnatural home for iMovie. Frankly, uploading to the web or to a synced Mac is so painless that iMovie could happily gather dust for most users. (A new hall-of-mirrors-style app called Photo Booth is so pointless it wastes good real estate – it can't be deleted.)

Despite the faster processor and enhanced graphics, the iPad 2's battery life is on a par with the original; long-life performance is one of the device's strongest selling points. My one qualm has to be the amount of time it takes for the iPad to charge – inordinately long compared with drain time.

Apple's attention to detail shines through with the new "Smart Cover". At the iPad 2 launch, Jobs spent so much time demonstrating this magically magnetic clip-on sheath that I thought it would inevitably be a flop. In fact, the Smart Cover promises to shut out all the third-party manufacturers that churned out dog-eared cases for the iPad 1.

Overall, the iPad 2 offers a string of incremental but important improvements on its predecessor. It remains a stretch ahead of the pack – though not quite "lapping the competition", as Apple would like to make out – and it is hard to find any serious shortcomings with the second-generation tablet. However owners of the original iPad should not feel too sore about the upgrade: you don't need to buy a new tablet. Those waiting to buy their first tablet could do much worse than the iPad 2.

FMG9 Folding Machine Gun

The FMG9, short for Folding Machine Gun, looks like some sort of toolbox with a flashlight mounted on top.

China fighter jet The J-20 prototype

The J-20 prototype took off from an airfield in the southwestern city of Chengdu and flew for about 15 minutes, says Andrei Chang, the Hong Kong–based editor in chief of Kanwa Asian Defense. "This thing is political," Chang says. "They really want to show some muscle to the U.S.A."
In recent weeks, the plane had undergone high-speed taxiing tests, with photographs of the airborne jet posted on several Chinese blogs, the popular Sina Weibo microblog service and the online bulletin boards of state media outlets. There were no signs that censors had demanded the images be removed, indicating that the authorities had approved unofficial coverage of the test.

While en route to Beijing, Gates told reporters that the U.S. had been tracking the development of China's stealth fighter but that the earlier tests had come as something of a surprise. "They may be somewhat further ahead in the development of that aircraft than our intelligence had earlier predicted," he said.
The aim of Gates' trip was to seek China's help in containing North Korea and to improve the often fraught relationship between the U.S. and Chinese militaries. Beijing cut off exchanges with the U.S. military for much of 2010 after President Barack Obama approved a $6.4 billion arms package to Taiwan in January. Beijing contends that the democratic island is part of China's territory and should ultimately be reunited with the mainland, by force if necessary. (The U.S. pledged to continue offering defensive armaments to Taiwan under the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act.)

The Chinese will also want to patch things up with the U.S. before Hu's state visit to Washington next week. Hu is expected to step down in 2012, and a successful trip to the U.S. is key to cementing his legacy at home.

Gates has long expressed hope that the two nations' militaries could maintain a steady relationship despite their political differences. And while his Chinese counterpart, General Liang Guanglie, said on Monday that both sides support a "healthy and stable" military relationship, the Taiwan issue remains a clear point of disagreement. "United States arms sales to Taiwan seriously damaged China's core interests, and we do not want to see that happen again," Liang told reporters, signaling that further sales could lead to another break in military ties.

Beyond Taiwan lies the question of China's growing investment in modernizing its military. In addition to the stealth fighter, China is developing an anti-ship ballistic missile that could limit the access of U.S. aircraft carriers and other vessels to waters in the western Pacific. Liang sought to play down the capability of the People's Liberation Army. "I firmly believe that in terms of the level of modernization of the PLA, we can by no means call ourselves an advanced military force," he said. "The gap between us and that of advanced countries is at least two to three decades."

The U.S. F-22 is the only stealth fighter now in operation. But the test flight of the J-20, which some analysts had believed was years away, suggests that China's military is catching up more quickly than Liang will admit. That mixed message is deliberate, says defense analyst Chang. "They say that they are far behind the U.S., and then they launch a new stealth fighter," he says. "They want to confuse people. This is their purpose."

BMW GINA

Hello friends BMW lounch a new car. The GINA Light Visionary Model (LVM) roadster wears a fabric skin comprised of a wire-mesh inner stabilizing layer and a water- and temperature-resistant outer layer stretching over the frame. The frame shifts on driver command to optimize airflow in certain driving conditions, wrinkling and stretching the skin as it moves. The eight-cylinder engine hides under a 1.6-foot slit that opens and closes. Turn signals and taillights glow through the fabric. The skin opens to reveal BMW’s traditional round headlamps.

Flexibility, resistance to temperature extremes and water resistance weren’t the only fabric challenges to BMW designers. The dimensional stability—retaining surface tension despite humidity, temperature and constant expansion—posed the greater obstacle. BMW tapped the expertise of its fabric experts, designers of car interiors, to develop patterns, cut the webbing with maximum precision, determine the strategic attachment points and stretch the fabric over the frame.

Don’t expect GINA on the road tomorrow, because moving a car from vision to prototype to production is a process fraught with road blocks. One wag commenting online about the new design writes “Instead of a paint scrape, some bounder can slash your body, leaving a gaping hole.” Still, with the continuing evolution of composites that combine fabric flex and carbon strength, GINA may be the “It” girl of the car cognoscenti within a few short years.

GPS of bicycle

Since everything is going wireless these days, we are clearly looking at a future where all headphones will be wireless. There are many models of wireless headphones on the market today, and one that I have recently encountered is the Sennheiser MX W1 Totally Wireless Headphones.
The Sennheiser MX W1 is able to wirelessly connect to an MP3 Player, but it does not use any Bluetooth at all. Instead, it relies on Kleer corporation’s digital transmission technology, which uses the same 2.4 GHz range, but has better streaming of CD-quality sound for your ears.
The user needs to attach a transmitter to his or her MP3 Player via headphone jack. In fact, I believe these wireless headphones will work for any device that has a headphone jack.
It doesn’t look like the transmitter is powered by the MP3 Player or other electronic device, as you will also have to charge the transmitter and earbuds. The transmitter will last for about 10 hours, while the earbuds can last 3 to 5 hours. The headphones come with a special carrying case with a built-in battery that allows a full recharge of the earbuds three times.
Unfortunately, this wireless technology does not come cheap. In this case, this Sennheiser MX W1 will cost about $499.99.
It wasn’t going to be long then before new gadgetry was designed around the deity of the techy world, to make the already usable iPod even easier to live with. Introducing the iRing, a Bluetooth ring concept that you wear on your finger to control the playback functionality of your iPod… and to show everyone around you just how
Its wireless connectivity means that skipping that one song that you hate on your favourite CD no longer warrants you rummaging through your handbag, or risking cracking a vertebrae as you twist around for your iPod in your back pocket. You no longer even need to jostle the people around you on the ever-crowded bus, just subtly press on your ring and be in total control of what you listen to.

The iRing’s functionality is every bit as cool as the iPod’s. To adjust the volume, you simply need to slide your finger across the touch sensitive surface of the ring. To play or pause songs, just tap the apple icon on the ring and to skip tracks you need only touch on either side of the icon depending on which direction you want to go. The iRing is USB powered and comes with an equally stylish cradle for you to keep the ring safe or (as I would!) display it proudly on your coffee table. The cradle is also used to recharge the iRing through a USB connection.

Phone Based Ghetto Blaster
