This is the second day blogging.

Today was the first birthday of the series of birthday of the couple.

Start of the day
The day started off pretty lazily as usual but unusually it was Malathi the birthday gal getting up early at 6:30 and I woke up at 7:40. And as it happens always we were running in the morning for our daily schedule. She was getting ready for the past 1½ hr and we finally caught the bus at 8:13 AM.

While coming to the office, I had a brief talk with Mom for about 30min , discussing on our trip to India among other things.

Malathi in Nokia
Today I have invited Malathi to Nokia for Lunch. She arrived at 12:50 after a short stint of loosing the way to office. Lunch was pretty bad and she was bit upset with the kind of food available which is usually salat. After which at around 13:30 we left for Fisketorvet where I bought a rabbit (with long ears) as a birthday gift for Malathi. Forgot to mention the rain all the way and Malathi was wet on her way to Nokia.

Sweet Home
On coming to our apartment, I have received few letters and one of which says that I need to collect the parcel from Brondby Strand post office which was sent from Praneeth on account of Malathi's Birthday. This is still not known to her, and I would surprise her when I will bring that back tomorrow. Due to the rain, now Malathi is feeling dizzy along with head ache. She had received a call from Sowmya (her friend from US) for wishing her. Later she made few phone calls for wishes to relatives. We ate some rice as we both were hungry. She slept for about an hour with headache, while I was watching old cricket videos. I made Maggi noodles after that.

Birthday Event-Evening
We have not invited many for the event. We have started with whipping the cream and
dressing the cake with the whipped cream and writing the names. Later had a photo session.

For the cake cutting session, we have invited our neighbors. They obliged and brought a present along, a beautiful crystal serving bowl. Now the well decorated birthday cake is ready and Malathi is very excited. We had decorated the table with all the soft toys around the cake and it was looking very colorful and I was very happy and getting excited too.

The neighbors arrived, and we had the Birthday song in Danish first and then in English. Malathi is very animated and during the whole event, photos and videos are being taken. We were taking in Danish and ti was very funny to listen to my own Danish speaking ability. They left around 9:30 in the evening very satisfied and we we bit tired now.

End of the day
After a very satisfying event and the cake coming good, I feel nice that I have done something productive. Had a pizza for dinner. I hope, today has lived the expectations of Malathi. We are very tired now. We are expecting guests (Raju, Pavani) tomorrow evening and not to forget the final ODI IND vs NZ early morning (which I may skip).

Cake making

This is my second post... pretty fast than what I expected.
I am eager to write more and more ... in this world ... blogging.

Tomorrow is Malathi's birthday which is a very special day for both of us. This is the FIRST function(event) to be happening other than festivals. So this will be a very special moment for me. Anyway there will be more birthdays coming next week for both of us. Sounds little weird, but that is true. She will be celebrating her first birthday according to the English calendar. And similarly, I will to celebrate my birthday next week but according to Telugu calendar.

Anyways, for tomorrow's special event, I have experimented by making sponge CAKE. I hope that has come good. I am not going to give the recipe for making the cake. But, for all the hard work I have put in preparing this delicious item, I hope she likes it.
She would be cutting the cake tomorrow evening. Now at least one thing is ready.
Sound very exciting for me. I also want to keep this excitement and enthusiasm up for tomorrow.

This is my first post... after a long long long time after I have registered to this site.

I would be introducing about myself today. Hope I will update this site daily :-)

To start ... My name is Sasikanth and people around me call me as "Sasi" in their own respective slangs and I don't mind it until people call me and I understand that they are asking for me.

I am 25 years older than a newly born ... Hahaha. In about a month I will be 26 years (not a youth anymore :-( ).

My family: I have been happily married now for about 8 ½ months. My better half's name is Malathi. She is the cutest and energetic girl I have ever met. More about her in the coming posts.

We are staying at Brondby Strand around 15 kms south of Copenhagen, Denmark.

My parents are now moved to Bangalore from Hyderabad last year as my father (M.V: Deekshitulu) is a bank (Central Bank of India)employee and has moved because of mandatory transfer. He is one of the busiest person working for the bank. He is working as a Computer Systems Analyst (Designation equivalent to a Bank Manager) at Regional Head Office, Bangalore. My mother (Syamala) is as innocent as me in some aspects. She is a home-maker now. She worked as a school teacher for about 9 years teaching Telugu. The funniest part here is that we brothers did not have Telugu schooling. At least, I can read a bit of Telugu, but Praneeth (my younger bro) neither can read nor write Telugu. Jokes apart, my mother is the most caring and loving and friendly ever. She is the best.
Coming to my bro, Praneeth now residing in the land of opportunities (U S of A). He has completed his graduation (MS in Computer science) from Northern Illinois University last year and is now working as a Software engineer some where near Baltimore. I can never get the name of the place right. He is the most cute, chubby and friendly bro. He can never say NO to me. He is also the most busiest person on earth always doing something or the other, helping friends and enjoying the moments to the best. I am proud of him. I will write more of them in the future. I will also detail about my in-laws too.

From professional front, I am working as a Software engineer/developer in a MNC and one of the biggest brand in the world of IT and telecommunication sector called NOKIA. I am working on GSM L1 protocol SW with embedded systems. I do a lot of interesting and boring work. I will ellaborate more later.

I will detail and discuss about my personality, interests, hobbies, my surroundings, my family, friends etc. in my next post.

My main intention for this post is to get started in the world of blogging.

Tommorow is my darling Malathi's Birthday according to Telugu Calendar. There could be birthday party or surprises around. waiting to see tommorow.
