This is my friend's house on the street kaswari. His house was so small, but very beautiful eyes.
It is located very close to the typical foods of the famous sukabumi Mochi. Exactly the Bhayangkara area of Sukabumi in West Java Indonesia. If you want to build a house, but only have a small reply, this is one option for you. I only take pictures on the outside just because at the time the shooting was in a hurry. This house is estimated the extent of only 40 square meters, 5 meters wide and 8 meters long.

Amazing balconies of Willis Tower (Formerly Sears Tower)

Willis Tower, formerly named Sears Tower, is a 108-story 1,450 feet (442 m) skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois. This tallest skyscraper in the United States has four glass box viewing platforms. These balconies are suspended 1,353 feet (412 m) in the air on the 103rd floor. As per reports, the inspiration for The Ledge came from hundreds of forehead prints visitors left behind on Skydeck windows every week. Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the architecture firm that designed the tower, also designed this balcony.

The balconies are at 103rd floor of the building. Impressive and truly amazing!

It seems that each of us is partial to a particular color. Our color preferences do affect our decision making and this is particularly significant in a niche like interior design. It is not uncommon to find people who even fix their color choices beforehand and then hunt for ideas and inspiration that use only that particular color scheme. I am not sure if this is a right approach because color is something that you can change around easily if you have a good eye for design and you have a solid concept for the space you are designing for. But so many people find this a bit hard to do and I thought I would start off a series of color based posts.

Kitchen is one space that people are very picky about when it comes to color and I thought I would concentrate on this. And this post would be the first of the color specific kitchen series and we start off with ‘Brown Colored Kitchens‘. The following (brown themed) kitchens are from 3 European kitchen makers – Nolte Küchen, Snaidero and Mobalpa. They are from three different countries Germany, Italy and France respectively so it should be a good mix.

Glassblock for insulation or wall decoration

A glass block is a type of building material which is made of either acrylic or glass. Glass blocks are similar to concrete blocks or bricks in terms of their shape and how they are laid. They come in various sizes and are usually used as an alternative for traditional or ordinary windows particularly in basements.

Since windows of basements are considered as an easy access to get in a home, glass block windows are considered as better alternatives. They are considered more secure or "thief proof" given that they are difficult to penetrate as compared to ordinary windows. Besides being an alternative to common windows, other residential uses of glass blocks include shower walls, kitchen counters, uniquely shaped windows and many more.

At present, it has been quite evident that glass blocks have become employed more frequently in architectural designs specifically in office buildings. They function as partition walls in office spaces as well as provide non-load bearing walls. Glass blocks have been considered as an element of architecture and an efficient aspect of design. This is because of the ability of glass blocks to filter in natural light.

Glass blocks are available in various designs. They can also come in tints of different colors, opalescent or simply clear. Glass blocks are usually installed by means of grout and mortar.
