Nudes are not new in Rwanda, but no high profile woman has been rudely exposed to this extent. This has been a territory for musicians, socialites and corporate prostitutes.

North Korea Ballistic Missile Launch Fails for the Second Time

North Korea launched a ballistic missile yesterday Saturday but the missile exploded soon after launch without completing it, according to reports from U.S. officials said.

The failed test involved a short-range, non-nuclear missile, which would only be able to hit Seoul, but not Japan. A US official said they had warning of the test and watched it closely.

A South Korean military official said that the test occurred around 5:30 a.m. local time.

The official said:

“Currently, we are closely monitoring North Korea’s further military provocation and are totally ready to meet any and all kinds of provocation,” the official told NBC.

U.S. Pacific Command said the missile did not even leave North Korean territory, adding that the North American Aerospace Defense Command determined the launch did not pose a threat to North America.

The White House said that the administration is aware of the test and that President Donald Trump has been briefed. Earlier in April, North Korea conducted a missile test a day after the country held a military parade celebrating leader Kim Jong-un’s grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is ready to send up to 500,000 women soldiers to the front line if war with the US breaks out, according to defectors’ estimates.

Battalions of female soldiers took part in the nation’s biggest-ever live firing exercise this week to mark the 85th anniversary of its military’s creation this week.

Unconfirmed reports suggest there could be up to half a million women in the Korean People’s Army and Kim has told them to be war-ready.

In highly staged scenes, the despot was mobbed by emotional female fighters when he watched firing displays from multiple rocket launcher systems late last year.

It comes as it’s claimed his nuclear tests could trigger a deadly volcanic eruption, and he labelled the US a “blackmailing gangster” that was holding the hermit state at “knifepoint”.

State news reported Kim had recently organised a female gunner competition.

“He organised this contest all of a sudden and guided it on the spot in order to estimate and confirm the combat capability of women gunners,” reported the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

In the contest, Kim said the significance of training women soldiers was for the great war of national unification and of preparing all gunners to be able to fight anywhere and anytime, said the KCNA.

Job Description

We are looking for examiners to conduct one to one interviews with IELTS candidates to assess their spoken English according to set requirements, and assess written scripts produced by candidates under exam conditions.

Role Overview

Examiners are recruited on a casual basis and are expected to examine at least ten sessions a year at regular intervals.
IELTS examinations regularly take place in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Therefore, we are looking for examiners who live in, or within relatively easy reach of these cities. We may occasionally run examinations in other cities in Nigeria.

Requirements

They Mercilessly Beat Him Up Before Shooting Him Dead

A delivery man with an online marketing store, Jumia, Mr. Chukwuma Eleje, has been killed in a house on Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The victim was said to be delivering two iPhones to some customers, who had ordered for them through the Internet on Saturday, when he was attacked and killed.

The assailants were reported to have dumped his remains in a septic tank in a desperate attempt to cover up the crime.

However, operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad were said to have been alerted by residents.

The officials were reported to have swooped on the suspects in their apartment on Monday.

The state police spokesperson, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, who confirmed the incident, said the suspects – Sodienye Mbatumukeke, Excel Naabe, and Joy Eluwa – upon their arrest, confessed to the crime.

Eluwa was said to be Mbatumukeke’s girlfriend. He said,

“Operatives of SARS, acting on credible intelligence on Monday, at about 3am arrested three suspects– two males and a female– identified as Sodienye Mbatumukeke, Excel Divine Naabe, and Joy Eluwa.
“These armed robbers ordered smartphones from a certain courier company in Rivers State. Then the company sent the phones through a dispatch rider. On getting there, the hoodlums beat up the dispatch rider and later shot him; he died inside their flat.
“After killing him, they threw his corpse into a septic tank. Our men, who were acting on credible intelligence, arrested the suspects and they showed us where they hid the corpse.”

Omoni added that the state Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed, who led other senior police officers to the scene, appealed to members of the public to always share information with the police.The two prime suspects, however, passed the bulk to each other.

Naabe, who claimed to be on a visit, said he saw Mbatumukeke pushing the deceased into the septic tank.

He said,
“On my way to this place, I saw him (Mbatumukeke); he was packaging something like a black waste bin. He was saying I should just go inside and chill out. He said he would soon join me in the room.
“I overheard some neighbours asking him what he was doing close to the septic tank and he gave them an excuse. I went inside and saw bloodstains in the bathroom.
“When I queried him, he brought out a gun and pointed it at me, saying if I uttered a word about what I saw, he would kill all my family members.”

The second suspect, Mbatumukeke, claimed that Naabe killed the victim, adding that he hit the courier man with an iron on the head.

“He hit him with iron on the head and blood was gushing out. I was afraid; I was vibrating. I didn’t know what to do. God is my witness,” he added.

When one of Punch’s correspondents visited the scene on Tuesday, he observed that the house was deserted.

It was gathered that most of the tenants in the building began to leave the house after policemen recovered the corpse.

An official of Jumia, Mr. Naze Paul, told PUNCH Metro in a telephone chat that the throat of the victim was slit.

Paul, who works at the Customer Care Section of Jumia in Port Harcourt, described the late Eleje as a good worker.

He said, “Instead of them to say they don’t have money for the items, they cornered and killed him.
“I believe they are cult members. Now, before we deliver goods we will get money first.
“If we don’t get paid first, we will not deliver. What caused this nonsense is that we deliver before getting paid. The agent they killed was a good worker.”

The police have arrested one Pastor Franklin Chinedu, a minister with the Mountain of Fire Ministry, Oshodi District, Lagos, for allegedly defrauding a widow, Charity Onje Isaac, who was paid her late husband’s gratuity, Pmexpress is reporting.

It was gathered that the victim, Charity, was deceived through a false prophecy and lost the N850,000, she was paid by her late husband’s employer, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN. .

Chinedu had prophesied to and asked Charity to give him the money as he was divinely directed by God. The Benue State-born widow obediently gave him the money but later realised that she had been duped.

However, she went back to the pastor’s house only to discover that he had moved out from the apartment to another rented flat. Narrating how the whole scam happened, the widow said met Chinedu who told her about the death of her husband and the gratuity. .

He also told the woman that serious prayer is needed to be done so that FAAN can release her husband’s money. She said when the money was eventually released, Chinedu invited her and told her that God said she should give him the money.

Charity said she did not know what came over her as she handed the money to him. She said she realised what happened when she had no money to feed the family, and she started looking for the pastor and then reported to the church what happened. .

Chinedu, however, said he prayed for the woman and the money was paid and he borrowed the money from her but was unable to raise money to pay her back. When Chinedu was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty. .

The presiding Magistrate, Akeem Fashola granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.

Samsung Launches Galaxy S8, Plans Recovery From Note 7

Seoul, March 29Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone as it battles to regain the market leadership it lost to Apple Inc after the embarrassing withdrawal of the fire-prone Note 7s.

Boasting some of the largest wrap-around screens ever made, the long-awaited S8 is the South Korean tech giant's first new premium phone since the Note 7 debacle in October, which wiped out $5.48 billion of profit and helped Apple overtake Samsung as the world's top smartphone maker in the fourth quarter.

Two versions of the Galaxy S8, code-named Dream internally, were launched at a media event in New York on Wednesday, with 6.2-inch (15.75 cm) and 5.8-inch curved screens — the largest to date for Samsung's premium smartphones.

The phones, which will go on sale on April 21, are slightly longer but comparable in width to their predecessors as Samsung has eliminated nearly all of the bezel borders around the face to maximise the screen surface area.

The S8 features Samsung's new artificial intelligence service, Bixby, with functions including a voice-commanded assistant system similar to Apple's Siri. There is also a new facial recognition application that lets users unlock their phones by looking at them.

Samsung is hoping the design update and the new features — nothing revolutionary but focused on making life easier for consumers — will be enough to revive sales in a year Apple is expected to introduce major changes to its iPhones for their 10th anniversary, including the very curved screens that have become staples of the Galaxy brand.

The S8 is also crucial for Samsung's image as a maker of reliable mobile devices. The self-combusting Galaxy Note 7s had to be scrapped in October just two months after their launch and a failed attempt to recall the Note 7s in September was particularly damaging, investors and analysts say, leading to questions about the firm's credibility.

Samsung responded by implementing new battery safety measures after an internal investigation identified battery problems from two different suppliers as the cause of the Note 7's problems.

Still, some analysts say consumers may be wary of potential safety problems with the S8.

"Initial sales of the S8 may appear slow compared to what was typical for previous model releases," said Lux Research analyst Christopher Robinson. "In other words, smaller initial sales spike."

Samsung's early marketing of the S8 has eschewed the safety issue, which brand experts say is an attempt to avoid reminding consumers of the images of burnt Note 7s that spread throughout the world's media late last year. — Reuters

The spotlights were turned inwards today as African students protested the “racial” attacks on them in Greater Noida. The government was quick to get into damage-control mode with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj reaching out to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who assured an “impartial” investigation.

Five persons have reportedly been arrested.

An African student, Sadiq Bello, tweeted to Swaraj that living in Noida has become “a life-threatening issue” after a mob, protesting the death of a local student, attacked Nigerian students last night. Swaraj quickly promised “immediate action”. The Ministry of External Affairs described the incident in which several Africans were injured as “deplorable”. Minister of State MJ Akbar assured the Acting High Commissioner of Nigeria of steps “for the safety and security of Nigerian nationals”.

The police said hundreds of locals were marching protesting the death of a Class XII student when some of them suddenly turned violent. They attacked Nigerian students shopping in the area and two persons in a car. The mob suspected them of having supplied the student with drugs, who died of an overdose.

Clinton's active presence on Twitter suggest that she has no intention to completely bow out of public life. Earlier this month, she met with a number of political associates to gauge the interest level in a possible run for mayor of New York.

So far, Clinton has not shot down rumors that she is considering a bid to replace Democratic incumbent Bill de Blasio.

Copy of Melaye’s ABU Statement of Result Surfaces With Different Name [PHOTO]

The statement of result, dated February 3, 2000; was signed by B.B. Mshelthlila and issued by the academic unit within the Office of the Registrar of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

The alleged statement of result reads: “This is to certify that Daniel Jonah Melaye having completed an approved course of study and passed the prescribed examinations as, under the authority of the Senate been awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Geography) with Third Class honours.”

However, the result is riddled with several inconsistencies which appear to deepen Melaye’s certificate forgery brouhaha.

For instance, his name was given as “Daniel Jonah MELAYE.” However, inquiries by DAILYPOST on http://geography.abu.edu.ng/ revealed that Geography is in the Faculty of Physical Sciences and not the Faculty of Arts as reflected in the statement of results.

Also, in the senator’s NYSC discharge certificate, which was issued on July 8, 2001, his name read “Melaye Daniel” and not Daniel Jonah as shown in the statement of results.

Again, in the diploma certificate issued to him by the University of Jos on August 3, 2006, his name reads “Daniel Dino Melaye.”

He was issued an Advanced Diploma certificate in Law, Security and Conflict Resolution. He finished with ‘Lower Credit’ on August 3, 2006.

However, in his Senior School Certificate purportedly bagged in 1992, which was distributed by Sahara reporters, his name read ‘Melaiye Daniel Jonah O.’ with Melaye being wrongly spelt.

As at Friday evening, Wikipedia.org has edited Dino Melaye’s biography to capture and reflect the certificate mess.
