This made up war against women is disgusting and intentionatly divisive, done by a group of true losers because something in their lives didn't work exactly as thier dreams were interpreted by them.

None of our lives will be perfect and in truth nor should it be. We are here to learn to live in whatever way we need to in order to progress to a higher road. That involves pain.
- Your so wrapped up in your own defense of the vindictiveness of women's lib that your actually contributing to the divide.
You need to get over the Man vs. Woman attitude cause you play right into the politcal machines hand. It's not about me vs. you - it's about you and me together and whom we can teach the Truth too. Life to be true must be done with gentleness, softness and love and everyone once in awhile give a lesson to others as a mother grizzly bear would give to her cubs to keep them out of trouble.

Roar like hell and then back off and let the lesson of the roar sink in. We cannot survive divided no matter what you liber friends will tell you. Just look at those same people who attempt to divide and you will see the pain of your own eyes reflected back at you.
Listen to the wind of Spirit and understand. If you get caught in the politics of twisting the mind to their way of greed and making people suffer - you have lost.....

I have only to add that if my Native Brothers and Sisters are waiting for Obama to do anything about this you are wasting valuable time. Obama doesn't give a damn about white people or Native and the sooner you get this, the more productive you can become.

To this I add further for my Native brothers and sisters, STOP waiting for the government to step in on your behalf. Hasn't 250 years of white hazing of Native people taught you anything?

The character of any man is defined by how he treats his mother as the years pass... Need I say more about this person below other than there is no character, no integrity but there is a ton of attitude and arrogance that defines his shallow past and hollow future...I rest my case.

I bought and read Obama's book, Audacity of Hope. It was difficult to read considering his attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he used to describe his attitude toward whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.

THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT -- HE'S RUNNING AGAIN, YOU KNOW!
HELLLO!!? Is anyone out there awake?

Off hand I have not heard of Mr Thom so know nothing of him.

However what gives him away is his egotistical view that the Human being is anything more than a tick on the back of an elephant in relation to his view of affecting the earth.

Traditional Native people are always cognizant of their duty to Mother Earth but not in the view of taking away of but gratefulness to the mother in giving to the children. In no way are Traditionals concerned with taking to much as they are very aware that it is within the power of the Mother to give and if the mother stops giving then that is the power of the Earth over it's children. It will be respected.

Ceremonies are held to express gratitude that the mother has chosen to give to her children and nothing else. Us Human Beings do not have power to control the Earth in any way even global warming in the mind of man is an Egoistic thinking process trying to elevate man beyond his capabilities. We have been a presence on the Earth a farthing of time in consideration of how long Mother has been alive. She has gone through warming and cooling trends from the beginning and we have little to do with it.

All Native people are aware of the sin of waste and of course the traditional does not waste anything. Which in and of itself can sometimes be carried overboard. If you drive through a Pine Ridge Reservation you will see what looks to like garbage from one end to the other but to the Native American a junk car is simply a Pony waiting to heal. We throw away nothing and while this looks one way to a white man it totally represents frugality to a Native person.

We ask for permission to kill a deer for dinner and hold this so dear to us that a deer would be willing to give it's life to further ours that we hold a ceremony before and after the kill in honor of the deer.

It is simplicity at simplicities best and I for one am proud to call myself a Native Human being.

One Cannot Improve Upon

One of the basic differences in relational law has to do with the very concept of law and relationships with what English identifies as "others." In Nature's Laws, there are no hard and fast division between the sacred and the profane, nor the divine and the human, as operates in the Western understanding of law. A flavor of this can be gleaned from the following famous speech by Chief Joseph of the Nee Me Poo of Nez Perce (b. 1840 - d. 1904). Joseph is appealing to a basic respect for the law residing in all people, including the white man; it has universal expression:

There has been too much talking by men who had no right to talk. Too many misrepresentations have been made, too many misunderstandings have come up between the white men about the Indians. If the white man wants to live in peace with the Indian he can live in peace. There need be no trouble.

Treat all men alike. Give them all the same law. Give them all an even chance to live and grow. All men were made by the Chief. They are all brothers. ...

WHEN- he refused to disclose who donated money to his election campaign, as other candidates had done, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he received endorsements from people like Louis Farrakhan, Muramar Kaddafi and Hugo Chavez, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- it was pointed out that he was a total newcomer and had absolutely no experience at anything except community organizing, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he chose friends and acquaintances such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who were revolutionary radicals, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- his voting record in the Illinois Senate and in the U.S. Senate came into question, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he refused to wear a flag lapel pin and did so only after a public outcry, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- people started treating him as a Messiah and children in schools were taught to sing his praises, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he stood with his hands over his groin area for the playing of the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he surrounded himself in the White House with advisors who were pro-gun control, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage and wanting to curtail freedom of speech to silence the opposition, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he said he favors sex education in kindergarten, including homosexual indoctrination, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- his personal background was either scrubbed or hidden and nothing could be found about him, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- the place of his birth was called into question, and he refused to produce a birth certificate, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he had an association in Chicago with Tony Rezco - a man of questionable character and who is now in prison and had helped Obama to a sweet deal on the purchase of his home - people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- it became known that George Soros, a multi-billionaire Marxist, spent a ton of money to get him elected, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he started appointing White House Czars that were radicals, revolutionaries, and even avowed Marxist /Communists, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he stood before the Nation and told us that his intentions were to "fundamentally transform this Nation" into something else, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- it became known that he had trained ACORN workers in Chicago and served as an attorney for ACORN, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed cabinet members and several advisors who were tax cheats and socialists, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed a Science Czar, John Holdren, who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed Cass Sunstein as Regulatory Czar who believes in "Explicit Consent," harvesting human organs without family consent and allowing animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed Kevin Jennings, a homosexual and organizer of a group called Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Education Network as Safe School Czar and it became known that he had a history of bad advice to teenagers, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed Mark Lloyd as Diversity Czar who believes in curtailing free speech, taking from one and giving to another to spread the wealth, who supports Hugo Chavez, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- Valerie Jarrett, an avowed Socialist, was selected as Obama's Senior White House Advisor, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- Anita Dunn, White House Communications Director, said Mao Tse Tung was her favorite philosopher and the person she turned to most for inspiration, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed Carol Browner, a well known socialist as Global Warming Czar working on Cap and Trade as the nation's largest tax, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he appointed Van Jones, an ex-con and avowed Communist as Green Energy Czar, who since had to resign when this was made known, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- Tom Daschle, Obama's pick for Health and Human Services Secretary could not be confirmed because he was a tax cheat, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- as President of the United States , he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia , people said it didn't matter..

WHEN- he traveled around the world criticizing America and never once talking of her greatness, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- his actions concerning the Middle East seemed to support the Palestinians over Israel , our long time ally, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he took American tax dollars to resettle thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to the United States , people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he upset the Europeans by removing plans for a missile defense system against the Russians, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he played politics in Afghanistan by not sending troops early-on when the Field Commanders said they were necessary to win, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he started spending us into a debt that was so big we could not pay it off, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he took a huge spending bill under the guise of stimulus and used it to pay off organizations, unions, and individuals that got him elected, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he took over insurance companies, car companies, banks, etc., people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he took away student loans from the banks and put it through the government, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it under government control, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he claimed he was a Christian during the election and tapes were later made public that showed Obama speaking to a Muslim group and 'stating' that he was raised a Muslim, was educated as a Muslim, and is still a Muslim, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States through Cap and Trade, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN- he finally completed his transformation of America into a Socialist State , people woke up--- but it was too late. Add these up one by one and you get a phenomenal score that points to the fact that Barrack Hussein Obama is determined to turn America into a Marxist-Socialist society.

All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place. All can be documented very easily. Before you disavow this do an Internet search. The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph.

Will it read as above or will it be a more happy ending for most of America ?

Don't just belittle the opposition. Search for the truth. We all need to pull together or watch the demise of a free democratic
society. Pray for Americans to seek the truth and take action for it will keep us FREE. Our biggest enemy is not China , Russia , North Korea or Iran . Our biggest enemy is a contingent of politicians in Washington , DC . The government will not help, so we need to do it ourselves.

It's your decision. I believe it does matter. How about you?

R U Paying attention? R U self-educating? NO-I do not mean reading the papers or listening to any News Outlet! I mean going deeper and looking for what is not being reported by most. R you checking the veracity of what your finding? Do U Care if U lose your freedom or your life?

I just lost my Granddaughter to suicide largely due to apathy! No one was aware or even cared enough to be aware.

This same thing can happen to our Country unless we self-educate........

A Life Passed - Rahne Redhawk

Oki Everyone -

I want to thank all those that responded to my Granddaughters – Rahne’s exit from this life into the next.

That support was what I was seeking all along and you gave it freely which showed me something.

Writing lessons about this is proving very difficult at best as I cannot seem to clear my eyes long enough to type. However I will explain I have very unique communications with the Spirit people

who have gone on to teach from other places and I have very strong memories of lives gone by

where a very different societal definition was practiced! These memories are so strong within me that I very often will regress to them in time of stress and need of emotional support.

I always teach from these memories as the constructs of tribal life seem to make so much more sense to me than what life has evolved into in these “modern days” For instance in a tribal setting a parent is a parent for life and does not relinquish their parental responsibilities when the child reaches 18 or 25 or 55. Parents are responsible for the life and wellbeing of their children if they are allowed to undertake that responsibility. This is also the responsibility of the whole tribe – to watch for, care for and protect the lives that they have created. There is also a price to pay if you come up short in your responsibility. Such is the case with the parents of Rahne and I included. No matter what – this should have been recognized as a possibility and rectification should have followed. If I was allowed access to her this would not have happened I assure all of you! But this world is not the old world of responsibility and recognition of the fact that it simply does take a tribe to raise a child.

Today parents are told – “you made them – you take care of them”. That is the beginning of the Dark side!

This has been a pattern in my family for at least three generations – with each generation becoming more separated from the one just past until there is no relativity within the family. Everyone is simply flailing and falling into an existence that even to the most insipient of reserved personalities could not understand or appreciate. This is the path of Evil and it must be eradicated before there is complete destruction of what was once a very well-known and well to do family that was respected in all walks of life.

In tribal life these responsibilities were to a large part the definition of the matriarchal aspect of the tribe and the women were ultimately the carriers of all of the societal responsibilities. Why? Because the men were busy supplying the meat for the tribe so they could live and defending the tribe against its enemies so they could live. A full time job at best and one that did not get relinquished at bedtime. So in that world there was no bullshit about “she never worked a day in her life”! That just did not happen.

An integral function of the tribe was also to provide support for each member and to be able in numbers divide the pain that did happen with a death or sickness so that no-one had to bear any pain alone! When you all supported me in this, you are whether you know it or not harkening back to tribal time of your own and it is good sign in this world of selfishness and greed where neither man nor woman know their true role in society.

So where I go from here I do not know, Spirit is helping me with this which I could not do without them. But my little Grandchild Rahne who lived a life of pain and uncertainty directly from the hands of a completely irresponsible mother – I have determined will not be easily forgotten. She will be remembered as long as all those that read this understand the deeper implications of the teachings.

Remember this – You have only one chance to get it Right and if you do then the least you can say is that “I harmed no one in this life!” If you get it wrong that is another thing altogether as you have harmed yourself, your family, your children, your friends and society. You will pay a price for this. If you’re forced to make a judgment call, make sure it is the right one!

I’m thinking along the following lines (and the school in mention is St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota). Take a look at my rantings and remember “If everything else fails, use common sense.”

Some weeks ago I received a rather bulky envelope. It was mailed from a catholic school for Native American Children in South Dakota – a school that has been in operation for about a century now ...

If you know anything about what transpired at the Native Indian schools that were once set up all over the country to back up the policy of “Kill the Indian; Save the Man”; if you have ever seen the eyes of the Children who were forcibly removed from their families, or lured away with licorice or lemon drops to places where they were violated down to the very core of their spiritual being, you might understand that this gave me food for thought.

How this school got my name and address in the first place, I do not know. Of course I looked it up on the Internet where it seemed very politically correct. But when I took a second look at the mailing I had received, I saw a different story.

Apart from ‘the gift” of stickers and note pads, there was a dream catcher made in China – yes, China! The material included a whole lot of mention of how respect is an integral part of Lakota tradition – which it most certainly is, as it is in any tradition worth its salt. I even received a personalized letter, supposedly from a young girl at the school.

And yet, the whole thing was as devoid of respect as it could possibly have been. Most of all, in relation to the Child who was Used as ambassador for the school’s fundraising project. And wouldn’t you know, the material sent to me even included a form where I could have secured the services of a genuine priest praying for me, provided of course that I paid first.

And now, once more, Native American Children are being abducted and abused by those who think they know better. Do you?

A bit of an awareness exercise! Please watch this video with your Heart – your Spirit – all that makes you who you are.

Then sit back and think about how all this energy changes as you turn to CNN or Fox news or whatever your favorite poison might be. What you will find if you’re paying attention is a broadcast of fear, anger, hopelessness and blame. Then think about how all this anxiety came into being.

I happen to believe that we are our own true creators. God is not a fearsome face or voice in the clouds ready to pounce down upon you for every infraction of Creators laws written down in some supposed Sacred Text written by someone not even as well-developed intellectually or spiritually as you may be!

I believe that the True God is part of each one of us and that we create our own reality – be it a painful reality or one full of peace and beauty and awe for the incredible gifts that are available to each one of us in our own creation of our reality.

Then consider the societal environment that we are in and how that got created. I believe we are in the situation we are in because somewhere along the line we gave our own personal POWER away to someone else who has used that power to further their own ends and somehow forgot where they got the power from in the first place.

Now consider where you want yourself to be, under those beautiful supportive trees of life or under the thumb a system gone completely awry simply because we gave away our personal power. To me the answer is obvious and only each one of us can pull our power back in to ourselves and take charge of our own creations.

In Native Traditions which have been taught for all of time since we have become homo-sapiens is that we are responsible for the past 7 generations and for the seven generations yet to come. Do you want your seventh generation cursing you because you took the wrong path?

Our societal and political success or failure comes from your hands – from the decisions you make – to the environment you help to create to the decision makers you choose.

In short let me ask you – how is Hope and Change working out for you? What you see out there is your refection. Let’s change it to a reflection of the Peace of the Trees…..

As long as we follow a spiritual approach promising salvation, miracles,
liberation, then we are bound by the "golden chain of spirituality." Such a
chain might be beautiful to wear, with its inlaid jewels and intricate
carvings, but nevertheless, it imprisons us. People think they can wear the
golden chain for decoration without being imprisoned by it, but they are
deceiving themselves. As long as one's approach to spirituality is based
upon enriching ego, then it is spiritual materialism, a suicidal process
rather than a creative one.

All the promises we have heard are pure seduction. We expect the teachings
to solve all our problems; we expect to be provided with magical means to
deal with our depressions, our aggressions, our sexual hangups. But to our
surprise we begin to realize that this is not going to happen. It is very
disappointing to realize that we must work on ourselves and our suffering
rather than depend upon a savior or the magical power of yogic techniques.
It is disappointing to realize that we have to give up our expectations
rather than build on the basis of our preconceptions.

We must allow ourselves to be disappointed, which means the surrendering of
me-ness, my achievement. We would like to watch ourselves attain
enlightenment, watch our disciples celebrating, worshipping, throwing
flowers at us, with miracles and earthquakes occurring and gods and angels
singing and so forth. This never happens. The attainment of enlightenment
from ego's point of view is extreme death, the death of self, the death of
me and mine, the death of the watcher. It is the ultimate and final
disappointment. Treading the spiritual path is painful. It is a constant
unmasking, peeling off of layer after layer of masks. It involves insult
after insult.

Such a series of disappointments inspires us to give up ambition. We fall
down and down and down, until we touch the ground, until we relate with the
basic sanity of earth. We become the lowest of the low, the smallest of the
small, a grain of sand, perfectly simple, no expectations. When we are
grounded, there is no room for dreaming or frivolous impulse, so our
practice at last becomes workable. We begin to learn how to make a proper
cup of tea, how to walk straight without tripping. Our whole approach to
life becomes more simple and direct, and any teachings we might hear or
books we might read become workable. They become confirmations,
encouragements to work as a grain of sand, as we are, without expectations,
without dreams.

We have heard so many promises, have listened to so many alluring
descriptions of exotic places of all kinds, have seen so many dreams, but
from the point of view of a grain of sand, we could not care less. We are
just a speck of dust in the midst of the universe. At the same time our
situation is very spacious, very beautiful and workable. In fact, it is
very inviting, inspiring. If you are a grain of sand, the rest of the
universe, all the space, all the room is yours, because you obstruct
nothing, overcrowd nothing, possess nothing. There is tremendous openness.
You are the emperor of the universe because you are a grain of sand. The
world is very simple and at the same time very dignified and open, because
your inspiration is based upon disappointment, which is without the
ambition of the ego.

I will offer here a very condensed explanation of the facts that clearly demonstrate that the 'Bering Strait Theory' has never graduated beyond being a theory. Before I begin, however, I would offer that no one has ever exposed the foolishness of this myth with more research, intelligence, and eloquence than my fellow Oglala Lakota, Vine Deloria Jr., Phd. in his best-selling book, 'Red Earth, White Lies'. Read his chapter on the Bering Strait in this book and I assure you, you will never look at this 'theory' the same way ever again.

The Bering Strait Myth is not so much science as it is politics. Much objective modern science in the past several decades has even suggested that it is highly questionable if there ever was a so-called 'ice-bridge'. Yes, that's right, from an in-depth, intensive and non-politically affected scientific study of earth history, countless scientists (mostly non-American) have concluded that there most likely never was an 'ice-bridge'! When I was young, it was '12,000 years ago' when Indians supposedly migrated over the 'ice-bridge' into this continent. Over the years, I have watched this number go up from 12,000 years, to 20,000 years, and now in recent print, I have begun to see the number placed at 30,000 years! It seems that scientists just move the number back whenever something Indian is discovered that pre-dates their Bering Strait migration figure! I can tell you this, science does not have the market cornered on fact, nor on truth.

Most U.S. History books, and many other books written about North American Indigenous people, begin by propagating the Bering Strait Myth, telling the silly story of thousands, even millions, of early First Nations people migrating from Asia, crossing the so-called 'ice-bridge' of the Bering Strait. You may be surprised to discover that the scientists who support the Bering Strait Myth also want us to believe that many kinds of animals, plants, and even trees crossed over the Bering Strait into this Turtle continent. No kidding! Let me give you some more hard facts to help you discard, at long last, the foolish Bering Strait Myth once and for all.

First - Many Indigenous Nations have calendars that have been counting the years for a very long time. I am aware that the calendar of the Mohawk Indian Nation has been counting the winters for over 33,120 years. This pre-dates the so-called 'ice-bridge' of the Bering Strait theory, unless, of course, the Bering Strait scientists decide to move the interestingly illusive time period of our early migration back to 40,000 years! Many American Indian early histories tell of events that took place on this Turtle continent (North America) long before any so-called ice age. But, for political reasons, our histories have been mostly ignored. You see, the Bering Strait, in truth, is a theory that was born of the politics and propaganda of early America. In the midst of the American 'Manifest Destiny' social climate, the Bering Strait theory provided a 'scientific' means to justify the taking of ancestral Indian lands. In short, the mythical theory eased the conscience, as it was a way for land hungry immigrants to believe that, because Indian people were only 'recent inhabitants' of this land that it was not our 'homeland'. Therefore we were, in their minds, not any more the 'original people' in this land than they were. This was, and still is, the political power of the infamous 'Bering Strait theory'.

The Bering Strait theory would have us believe that all of North America was uninhabited by human beings of any kind until the supposed 'ice age'. The theory contends that the ancestors of American Indians originated in Siberia. Factual history of the ancient people of Siberia in those times indicates that these people had plenty to eat, were very settled into their communities, and the land they lived on. The Bering Strait theory wants us to believe that countless thousands of people from these well established communities in Siberia, despite the fact that they had everything they needed, just left everything behind to head north into a frozen tundra to 'chase and hunt game' (which, by the way, also decided for some crazy reason to leave their rich marshlands and head for the ice). Not only does it not make any logical sense, it doesn't make any historical, cultural or scientific sense! The culture of those ancient Siberian people is as different from North American Indigenous cultures as a shark is from an eagle! There are no cultural links between ancient Siberian peoples and the Native peoples of this continent to indicate any human descendancy connection. It simply makes no sense.

Then there is the 'ice bridge' itself… In order to create the Bering Strait 'bridge', we first need the timeless normal function of the earth's wind, evaporation and precipitation patterns to all of a sudden, just change completely. The wind streams need to begin to travel south to north, instead of west to east. In order to create the Bering Strait 'bridge', we need to drop the water level at least 200 ft. So an enormous amount of water needs to be evaporated - about 20.82 million cubic kilometers, enough water to cover an area of 5 million square miles with a sheet of ice 1.2 miles thick. To complete the process, we need this massive evaporation to take place in the warmer climates of the south, then the moisture laden clouds need to break the natural laws of the planet and head to the far north so they can then 'dump' their precipitation as ice over the area of the Bering Strait. To quote from Professor Vine Deloria Jr., "We cannot today conceive of a natural process that would evaporate this amount of water and transport it safely from the temperate zones to ensure that it precipitated as ice in Canada." As you can see, when you begin to explore the facts, it becomes more and more clear how ridiculous the Bering Strait theory really is. The Native people of this Turtle continent did not 'migrate' to this land… we have always been here…

You may notice that I keep italicizing the word theory. My reason for doing this is that I think it is very important to note that this myth is still identified today as a theory, not a fact. A theory is defined as: "an offered opinion which may not positively be true." Yet this theory is taught in schools still today as if it were the gospel truth. It is far from truth, and the time for it to be removed from lessons about American Indian people is long overdue.

I do encourage teachers to use this document in all classrooms where it has been decided to teach the truth of Indian culture. And again, I strongly suggest you get the book by Vine Deloria Jr., Red Earth, White Lies. May you be blessed on your journey to truth.

Because many of us find ourselves in this position I share this email with you!

My mother is 1/4 piikani, and so I don't look the part so to speak, but I feel a connection to this world. To the old ways. Days when your people were thankful to our mother, and brothers upon her. It is ironic that I share more blood with the invaders of this continent than its people, for I would have stood beside my darker brothers to defend your home that has been taken.

It means nothing in these great many days after the event, but I am sorry for what my people have done in the past, and as the days progress, I am still the same person but I feel a greater conection to my lost heritage than I did before. I feel a brotherhood to the people of 1/8 of my blood more than all the white man's.

It matters not one iota whether you look the part or not, or what Native American blood quantum you have! There are plenty of “red apples” out there – people, who are red on the outside, but white on the inside … What matters is being a true Human Being. True Human Beings have red hearts.

You obviously feel that there is a rift between what you perceive to be the two opposing sides in you. And indeed, the genocide on millions of First People committed by a people who was so spiritually lost as to consider themselves superior to everyone and everything else was an abomination and a foul stain on the birth of this country. The atrocities cannot be undone, but they might be healed, and you can be a part of that healing of the past. Not with weapon in hand, but by remembering that which was dismembered.

So, if you feel an affinity with your heritage on your Mother’s side of the family, there is a very good reason why Spirit is guiding you in this direction. There are several books that will help you get started on your journey of rediscovery. Please note that I am not saying that you should turn your back on the other side of your heritage. Before they lost their way, those ancestors too lived in tribal communities that knew and honored the sacred connection between all things. So if you decide to undertake this journey, you will actually be honoring both sides of your heritage.
