Rants, Raves, and off the wall opinions and more

Social media etc...

2026-03-16T15:52:00.001-05:00

As of this date and the writing of this post it has become abundantly clear that trying to live a business life without some form of SOCIAL MEDIA is nearly impossible.

Of course, there are the main antagonists:
Facebook, snapchat, X, Instagram, etc...

Learn them and use them to the maximum. That is IF you want to make more money...

That's it for now....

Ok, some would argue that it's not such a wonderful time to be alive, but at the other end of the spectrum there are people who say the opposite.
One thing for certain is that it is a very crowded world and getting busier all the time.
But through it all just know that God is still in control of it all, no matter what. Trust it and believe it.

why the Church at Philippi is still important today

2025-05-21T19:39:00.003-05:00

Just a little something that God laid on my heart that maybe someone needs to hear....

Philippians 3 is a very important chapter in the bible. For a lot of reasons:

1. It allows us to not only focus on our faith in Christ, but as to why believe in the first place.

2. We don't just have faith because because the law required it, we have faith because we believe.

3. There are people that need to see the light that you shine, that there is value in faith. Because we walk

daily and strive for the prize that is the higher calling. In other words, We will be with Christ one day.

4. Of course there are those who do not believe but will make it their business to tear you down any way they can. It's also their purpose to distort the truth and twist it to their advantage.

It's funny in some ways it's like running a business. There is always competition, and they are NOT there to help YOU make money.

Be careful, stay alert, and good profits. Most of all stay prayed up.

Where are you?

2025-04-17T18:33:00.000-05:00

Another fine rant and rave or something brought to you by me! And now on with the show....

Do you get what some people refer to as an epiphany? or a moment of reflection? It brings you a moment of clarity and sharpness that seems impossible and as it disappears so fast you ask yourself "Was it really there?"

We all get these moments and most deny them, but what IF they are moments that are given to us to be something more that a passing phase?
I think they are a message directly from what some call a higher power, but it's all the same. It's GOD trying to nudge you into a clearer line of thinking.
Ever moment and thought is tailored to each person uniquely and for that specific moment in time.
If you allow yourself to carry that moment into a complete thought, then guess what? An explanation will follow.
Has this ever happened to you? You don't necessarily have to be religious or what ever for this to happen and you are by absolutely NOT crazy in any way shape or form. But you must hold onto it and follow up, because you WILL benefit in the long run...

Until next time...or....???

Update(s)

2025-03-08T20:07:00.001-06:00

Ok here we are all the way into 2025 and I'm still here. I realize that a blog is no longer the preferred medium anymore, but it's a good way to keep a sort of journal of my thoughts and things I come across that me get someone's interest. If it helps then feel free to drop me a line or not and let me know.

Anyway, I'll check in when I have something new.

Thank you for now.

AI

2024-10-10T18:41:00.005-05:00

Ok, to put it plain and simple...AI is a lot like what the Internet was back in the 90's (for those of us who were around back then).
It's a fundamental change to the ALL aspects of our entire lives.

It is also in its infancy and much like the ever evolving internet, it will change us as well.

For those who harness it now, there is lots of money to be made, but the niches are filling up fast. When the second wave rolls in, there will be MORE money to be made, and so forth.

Those who RECOGNIZE the process in advance are the ones who PROFIT the most.
There is also a lot of research in AI that needs to harnessed. AS I always say:

DO THE HOMEWORK--->Know what you want, pick a niche, stick with it.

IT CAN BE DONE!

Good luck and as always I'll leave the light on for you!

SEO-what it is?

2024-03-11T19:02:00.001-05:00

For the unfamiliar I'll give a brief but simple explanation.

SEO, search engine Optimization: It is a simple matter of making your links, websites, meta data, ranking, and etc...relevant to the people who read them. But it is Sooooooo much more.

Keeping up with SEO is an ongoing process, that can make or break the afore mention items.

It can also draw in new people and weed out the old.

Search engines are constantly changing and you have to change with them or get left behind.

At the end of the day it comes down to whether you want to make money or lose money.

Stay tuned....more to come! :)

Christmas 2023

2023-12-25T18:25:00.003-06:00

So, Here it is Christmas 2023 and it has been a busy year. A.I. was in the main stream and will probably continue into 2024 and beyond. The main point being the new A.I. scenario presents us with a whole world of possibilities to make an income. I don't just mean letting A.I. do the work for you, but using it like a tool, much like the PC has evolved over time, so will A.I. It's a matter of those who recognize and innovate like we have in the past, so goes the same into the future.

So, that being said, Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Or whatever you call it.

Interesting post I found

New year and new problems...etc...

2023-01-25T13:02:00.000-06:00

Just a quick note to anyone still here....I'm still here and getting ready for the dreaded TAX season....blehhh!

Not a lot to talk about today, but I do have some rants and raves for another day. Until then...?

For those who are still here...

2022-12-20T11:45:00.000-06:00

It's been a long and beleaguered year for me....I'm still here. I'm monitoring things and watching as affiliate marketing twists and turns as every season goes by. The internet itself literally looks nothing like it did just a few years ago and it is still changing. Into what I don't know, but just maybe we can predict some of the trends that are coming and ride the wave of prosperity. Until then have a Merry Christmas, Happy holiday, or whatever you celebrate. Hopefully the new year will be better!

As always the light is on:

Humble Servant

2022 and beyond

2021-12-08T08:22:00.000-06:00

So here we are end of 2021...let me recap by saying that 2020 for a lot of people and most of the world around us was a rough point in history. Although, quite honestly 2021 wasn't much better to write about. We have a mad virus that twists, turns, and mutates every 5 minutes. And who know where it's going to end. IMHO, there is a lot of fodder for the doomsayers, so use your own judgement. If you FEEL safer vaccinated then do it OR if you DON'T feel like the vaccine will help you and your family, loved ones, or whomever then by all means don't get it. This is an argument for a whole different arena that I'm not getting into here.

Much like business opportunities, youy need to be aware of what your getting into because truth is subjective on both sides. By this I mean, Someone can tell you a half baked truth and you might buy into it, fail and blame others for YOUR own failure(or ignorance). There are limitless programs that say "I make $1000 an hour" or my favorite "I became a millionaire overnight!". Here's a thought, if they are millionaires, why would they tell you how they done it? Wouldn't they want that to be their secret?

Anyway, the point is that there are legit ways to make money on the internet. You need to distill them down to the few programs that work, the ones that are time tested, no fake reviews, and don't cost to join a a club. Here's a hint::::LEGIT money programs do not charge, they show you step by step how to profit, rinse and repeat. It also takes time...that is the key element. Start small, have a budget, and stop throwing money away if it isn't coming back. Do the so called leg work and take a few minutes for a deep dive in your research. You'll thank yourself later. Keeping notes on your Internet travels is VERY important.

FACT checking is also important, but remember to do cross referencing when fact checking a program. Also, HUGE RED FLAG----> a legit opportunity is NEVER called a scheme/money making scheme or money making opportunity, easy cash. As a matter of fact most will use words like profit and loss.

Anyway, 2022 is just around the corner and I'm STILL not a MILLIONAIRE, but maybe one day! LOL!

Until next time....This blog will leave the light on for you....Merry Christmas, or whatever you want to call it....and a Happy New year!

yeah its been a long time...

2021-10-12T07:39:00.004-05:00

Ok, I've slacked up a little, ok maybe a lot in writing this blog. Not a lot to say except here it is october and we are finally getting some cooler weather. However, even with the economy in turmoil there are still a LOT of hot opportunities to make money. The problem is this: In a soupy economy like this things get murky and we don't see clearly what we need to do to better ourselves and our businesses. Keep GOD first in your life and all else falls into place. He is a light unto our feet and light unto our path, so that if you truly trust him then he will guide you in the right direction. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU! YOU WILL FAIL HIM FIRST!

Set your goals and stay focused on your objectives. NEVER give up. 99 percent of all startups fail in the first year because they just quit. BE the one percent! BE a Success!!!

Until next time....Keep the faith!

new year and new chance

2021-01-06T20:42:00.003-06:00

Of course it's 2021, and hopefully we all have a new outlook on the horizon. New, ideas, new business opportunities. Follow your life calling and listen to the inner voice that GOD is calling you to do. Best of luck and keep praying.

Purpose(s) in business and life

2020-11-14T08:06:00.000-06:00

This is something that has been near and dear to my heart for a long time and it needs to be said. What is your purpose in business? In other words, Why are you starting a business in the first place? Contrary to some of my previous posts, owning a business is not ALWAYS just about making money. Somewhere along the way the business must be self sustaining, which is rudimentary of any business venture all the way from a lemonade stand to wall street and beyond.
Somehow, it also has to be fulfilling. a reason to be in business beyond the obvious. It has to not only make you happy, but it has to fit in to the flow of the community and have a purpose, otherwise there will be no customers for your business. Even as a business fails it becomes a lot like real life. People see their life flash before them and wonder what went wrong, or what went right in some cases. I've recently seen family members and others that seem to be hanging on for no reason at all other than just waiting for something on the other side of the curtain of life, but I think there is a bigger(much BIGGER) picture here. God(yes, i said it!) has a purpose for ALL things LIVING and non living, including a business if you allow him. Until that purpose is fulfilled, nothing happens. In business, if you are struggling, you can review financial records, personnel, associates, etc to figure out what went wrong. Sometime this is easy and sometimes not so much.
Without diving into the deep end of philosophy and religion, just realize that life imitates art and likewise. A business with a REAL purpose is as fulfilling as a life with real purpose. Be good to others and be good to your business, and if you have an ounce of curiosity in you then pray about it, it REALLY can't hurt.

Until next time...just stop take a deep breath and let it out and know YOU ARE here(wherever you are) for a reason. Take stock of your life/business and find your purpose today, don't wait till it's too late. Just like a failing business, look for the cause of the failure, you might be surprised by the results.

Dealing with full blown stupiditis

2020-08-04T17:31:00.000-05:00

Okay, so Ill be the first to admit I WISH there was a cure for this but unfortunately the treatment is rather elusive and doesn't care to be found. I could go on and on and on....and on for days on end (maybe I should write a book! LOL!) about the ins and outs of how this seemingly incurable disease (I call it that lightly) has affected the halls of congress for decades and the world population in general, but I'm not going to instead I'm just going to give you some food for thought and some minor direction and IF you come to ANY conclusion that might be helpful then please share it in the comments.

There a some links below and a brief idea of what stupid really is and point you in the direction of what to do about it.

That's my rant on the soapbox for the day. I'm on this island all alone in an ocean of anarchy, but the peace and solitude GOD has given me has only left me with one question...why hasn't he called me home yet?

Anyway, peace be with you

Until next time...

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=stupiditis

The link below is to a time magazine article...so I'm giving them credit for the quote....

"Stupidity is a kind of intellectual stubbornness. A stupid person has access to all the information necessary to make an appropriate judgment, to come up with a set of reasonable and justified beliefs and yet fails to do so. The evidence is staring them right in the face but it makes no difference whatsoever. They believe what they want to believe. Not only do they have no good reasons for thinking that what they believe is true — there are often good reasons for thinking that what they believe is false. They are not acting in a rational manner."

June update

2020-06-23T13:04:00.001-05:00

Just a quick update that I AM still here and for anyone following this blog hopefully I will be adding new content shortly.

Be alert and stay safe in this brave new world of covid-19.

Christmas

2019-12-24T20:49:00.001-06:00

Merry Christmas to all and to all good profits!

Holiday seasons greetings

2019-12-02T10:20:00.001-06:00

Ok so there is a lot that I could rant and rave about these days, but maybe I'm just feeling a bit nostalgic these days. After all it is the holiday season and in short it is a time for us all to be thankful for what we have. It doesn't matter if you are the richest person on earth or the poorest, because you have life in you and are blessed by the ALMIGHTY creator for a purpose. Wanna know that purpose, simply get down on one knee and ask. The other thing is to be humble and kind to one another no matter who you are or where you are at. Love one another at least for now.
Ok, enough for now.

Merry Christmas and Amen!

Humble, thankful, and monetizing your life. There is truth and forgiveness.

2019-04-05T07:01:00.001-05:00

The world we live in today may be the same planet many us grew up on, but the world around us is constantly changing and evolving in some ways that are very unpredictable and in others that are very predictable. The treatment of the elderly will ALMOST always end badly. We are better at hiding it today than yesterday, but it happens. If you have to live by what you see in the news, then we are all doomed.

There is a bright spot in all if this. You must live with a solid foundation. That foundation is undoubtedly based on something bigger that yourself. I personally put my trust in God because he is more than just my higher power, he is above all else and I owe my very existence to him. Some of you may not believe like I do that there is a larger purpose for everything in life, whether it is good or bad, that is what makes the world a place for all of us, but that is your choice and I respect that. We live, we learn we grow. No matter what you believe in, you will always come back to the reality there REALLY is a purpose or plan for your life that YOU ALONE will have to live up to and answer for one day. Whether you are a homeless vagrant in a dark alley, or Corporate shark at the top of the worlds tallest tower, a lonely farmer plowing the mid-western fields, or whoever. The key to life is not to live in the past, but to live in the present without forgetting the mistakes and successes of the past and that those choices may define who you have become, HOWEVER, the next breath that comes out of you, and the next step you take is a matter of free will and whether it is your last one or not, you should always be thankful for it.

Apply these simple principles to life, your business, and everything you do and your will see change that you never saw before.Steady the ship and stay the course, because you CAN! that's why!

That's my rant for now, leave a comment and I'll catch you on the flip side! (wonder how many out there know where that cliche' came from? WITHOUT googling it? LOL!)

win7 and win10 God mode

2019-02-10T12:42:00.001-06:00

This is a really cool thing if you use win7/win10. What it reveals is almost identical with some exceptions for win10. In a nutshell, it's a way to see almost all the commands available and then some. It allows access to some commands you would normally not have access to otherwise. Also, you do need to be an Administrator to do this...Enjoy!

1: Right-click on the desktop and click New > Folder

2: Then, copy and paste the following into the folder name:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The folder icon will change to a control panel icon. Double-click on the new icon to see your universal settings panel. The settings are organized under various headings, from Administrative Tools to Windows Firewall.

If you want to find out more just Google search for win7 and win10 God mode.

Happy Holidays

2018-12-26T08:49:00.000-06:00

Hope everyone had a safe and fulfilling Christmas and will have an equally happy new year!
I've noticed something interesting, a trend if you will. I call it the "age of the gurus".
When the internet was still in it's infancy, and in someways still is, there were a lot of programmers, marketers, etc... all willing to take advantage of every little loophole they could find and exploit it to there financial advantage, some landed in the legal grey areas. Consequently the laws eventually adapted and changed as they tightened the screws on the hackers, schemers, and others who preyed on the users. All of that aside, I'm seeing less talk about the so called "gurus" and more about bonafide legal ways to make money. I'm not saying that these programs aren't still out there, because some are legit, a large part of them are repeats of the last 10 years, with a new face and same old crap. Sorting out the differences is what makes you a better marketer in the long run.
My advice for 2019 and beyond is this:

IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE...THEN IT PROBABLY IS!

There are lots of ways to make money online legally, such as selling on ebay, taking surveys, etc..some of my previous rants and posts highlight some of these programs. I always encourage people to do the research and read the reviews before signing up or buying anything.
Hopefully 2019 will better for the world in general.
Any questions, feel free to ask, I'll get to them sooner hopefully before later.
Until till next time...
Keep reaching for that keyboard!

That time of year again

2018-12-10T06:16:00.002-06:00

Ok let me start off by saying thanks for reading this and hopefully in the coming year I can get back into the swing of things and providing some useful insight and less ramblings every 6 months.
In this part of the world it is almost Christmas time and that means a lot to some people and so in that spirit I want to say Merry Christmas to all and Happy New year. I'm keeping this one short and to the point!
Peace on Earth to all!

Long hot summer

2018-08-30T07:22:00.003-05:00

It's been a long hot summer here and my lawn mower broke down. The grass is just about knee high to an Elephants eyes. Things have been calm on the outside, but that usually means something is brewing...perhaps something new about blockchain, or cryptocurrency, who knows? Thoughts opinions?

GDPR

2018-05-28T09:24:00.002-05:00

Anyone have an opinion on this whole GDPR thing? It is good, bad, or just another way for the governments of the world to control the Internet?
