My real roots

2014-03-13T04:54:00.000-07:00

This post is to let everyone know that my real name is actually TYRONE. I have been concealing my inner afro-american basketball player with a long standing pretence of persian tradition. My ethnic perversions have always verged on the odd side of things. Every morning I white-up to come into school, I have to go to special training camps to make sure I don't grow too tall and I take special dietary complements to conceal my characteristic features, such as my huge bulging muscles. Even my accent if faked - in reality I speak with a heavy Jamaican ting. I hope that you all accept me for who I am, now that've come out of my iranian shell. I am TYRONE, always before, forever now. TYRONE! TYRONE! TYRONE!

MATIN

In the past years, we have had a taste of what books are becoming but the big question is, what will become of this and what will the future ideas be for taking more money out of our pockets! eBooks will be both a technological advancement and also a huge sector in marketing and business.

A huge advancement will be the introduction in portable library’s, i.e. the ability to borrow books for a period of time, something that Amazon’s kindle is already exploring. The Kindle Lending Library will allow over 11,000 public libraries in the US to lend copies of digital books to Kindle users for short periods of time (probably 7-14 days). Innovations of this will probably ultimately bring the extinction of the book. However this will not happen for the next half-century for only 7% of people actually read eBooks. However the same company which is working on the lending-library, OverDrive is now working with apple on the iPad and it’s app, iBooks.

ACHILLES

In my article, ‘Why the Book Business May Soon be the Most Digital of All Media Industries’, I learnt that the aim for eBooks in the US was: by the end of 2010, $966 million in eBooks would have been sold to consumers; and by the end of their five-year forecast of the progression of eBooks, they expected the industry to reach $3 billion (over three times more than what they had just five years ago) which would “forever alter the industry”.

Even though some people are said to prefer proper books, they still have an ‘e-reader’ and they are slowly increasing their amount of digital books in their library. e-book buying falls very low down on this list of how people acquire books. Just 7% of online adults who read books read e-books. But that 7% happens to be a very attractive bunch: they read the most books and spend the most money on books. And here’s the kicker – the average e-book reader already consumes 41% of books in digital form. Oh, and that includes the people who don’t have an e-reader yet, which is nearly half of them. For those that have a Kindle or other e-reader, they read 66% of their books digitally.

iPad vs. Kindle, which is better as an ebook reader

This is a real tough question, iPad or Kindle? The iPad has some really good advantages such as the applications and the built in microphone. And the Amazon Kindle also has some advantages such as the dictionary, the keyboard and the eBook reader. So, which one’s better, iPad or Kindle?

Readability: Winner Amazon Kindle

Even though the iPad’s IPS LCD screen has technically contrasts a lot more than the Kindle, it manages an excellent way of reading, even through direct sunlight. And the lack of a 60Hz refresh rate makes it easier on the eyes over many hours.

Graphics: Winner Apple iPad

After a win by the Amazon Kindle, I have to say the Kindle has pretty rubbish graphics. It just makes any old newspaper like a technological triumph. For magazines and other stuff like that, the Kindle truly can’t compare.

Portability: Winner Amazon Kindle

I have to admit they’re both really good and they can both fit even in a packed schoolbag, but when it comes to compare, the Kindle wins by miles! Measuring only 0.34 inches and 8.7 ounces, the Kindle makes the 0.5 inch-thick and 24 ounce iPad feel really heavy.

Battery Life: Winner Amazon Kindle

The iPad itself holds an impressive amount of 10hrs of charge, but to read a book it’s not enough and to charge it up again it will take another 10hrs. However, the Amazon Kindle holds up to a mammoth amount of 10 DAYS! And the 3G? Three weeks.

Library: Winner Apple iPad

You could count forever comparing Apple’s iTunes book library to Amazon’s Kindle library, but the simple fact is this: The Kindle can only access Amazon’s library, the iPad can access Apple’s iTunes store, the Amazon Kindle store, Barnes & Noble’s Nook library, and more, all through apps.

Price: Winner Amazon Kindle

The Kindle is sold at a price of $139 for a Wi-Fi only version, and $189 for a version with lifetime 3G access for downloading books on the go. The cheapest Wi-Fi iPad runs for $499, and the 3G $629 plus data charges of at least $15 monthly by AT&T.

Overall Winner: Amazon Kindle

Ok, yes it’s true. The Amazon Kindle is better than the iPad in reading books. But that’s only in reading books, don’t forget.

Samsung Galaxy Tab vs. Apple iPad

Obviously most people are thinking “Well it’s an iPad, of course it’s better.” Well Samsung has unleashed a new power……. The NEW Samsung Galaxy Tab!

But how does it do against the iPad, well….

Display: Winner Apple iPad

The iPad incorporates a touch-sensitive IPS display that measures 9.7 inches across. It is undoubtedly an amazing screen, boasting a resolution of 768 x 1,024 pixels.

Samsung has gone for a slightly smaller display in the Galaxy Tab but it still is an impressive amount of 7 inches. All in all, the Galaxy Tab is 600 x 1,024 pixels o it makes the iPad win this round. And of course, it’s HD!

Size & Weight: Winner Samsung Galaxy Tab

Despite its size, the Apple iPad measures 242.8 x 189.7 x 13.4 mm and weighs 680g altogether (it feels a lot lighter when you put it on your hands). With its 7-inch display, the Galaxy Tab is obviously a lot smaller.

Samsung's quoted dimensions are 190.09 x 120.45 x 11.98mm, which makes it thinner than Apple's device. The Galaxy Tab weighs 380g so it is nearly half the iPad’s weight.

We say that it is a draw because The Galaxy Tab is more portable, has Android, is a better book and has a video caller. The iPad is HD ready, got a better system and is the bigger version of the Galaxy Tab. It is supposed to be a computer without a keyboard that has things like apps as well as the iPhone.

Wireless: Winner Samsung Galaxy Tab

This is considering you buy the simple WiFi+3G iPad. Galaxy has arguably better connectivity and you can make phone calls and send and receive SMS/MMS and there is very good wireless and Bluetooth.

Storage: Winner Galaxy Tab (Let’s call it a draw)

Both Products have many options depending on how much you want to spend.

Camera: Galaxy Tab (obviously iPad doesn’t have one)

Though the new iPad coming out after Christmas will have one plus much, much more.

Overall Decision: Draw

They’ve both got good stuff in it and the decisions are often controversial, However, if you ask me, I would by the iPad after Christmas because of the iPad’s beautiful design and its sheer simplicity both in the design and in the OS. Plus there will be many additions (We’ll post this later). But that’s just me!

The Mac Book Air

2011-01-08T07:50:00.000-08:00

The MacBook Air is the next generation for Macs, A lot thinner in size yet still it is much
better and updated. The beauty and advanced technology from the iPad was carried
and it now, finally, has reached the Mac.
Now let's talk about storage. On the MacBook Air Apple has created a new type of
storage, Flash Storage. This is a miniature microchip with 32GB in each chip which
gives 90% more space for other vital bits like a bigger battery.
Talking about batteries, the MacBook Air has an incredible life-span. If you looked
inside a MacBook Air, you would see something remarkable. Thanks to flash storage
which gives it a bigger battery, an 11-inch MacBook has a 5 hour life-span and up to 7
hours on the 13-inch model!
Also from the iPad, the MacBook has met multiple-touch which allows you to tap, pinch,
swipe, drag, rotate, and scroll for multiple reasons.
Two new features have been bought to the MacBook. NVIDIA GeForce Graphics
and Intel Core 2 duo processors. MacBook features NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics
processor-the same used in the 13-inch MacBook Pro. With a performance boost
of over 2x that of the previous MacBook, the NVIDIA graphics processor provides
outstanding speed and power for browsing photos, watching movies or playing games.
MacBook weighs less than 3 pounds, but it is heavyweight where it counts. Intel Core
2 Duo processors get the job done fast. So you can be every bit productive-but in more
places.
A proper laptop needs wireless connection anywhere. That's when the MacBook Air
comes in. It has 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. With all this equipment, it
allows you to browse the web, send e-mail and print documents. It also let's you to
download music, videos and-coming soon with the Mac App Store, applications.
Now let's talk about what's on the MacBook. Well there is a FaceTime camera so you
can communicate with your friends, just like a mobile (Except you can see their faces).
And finally, the price. Everything that I've just told you for $999 only!
So what are you waiting for? Get your own MacBook today!

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Review (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)

2011-01-06T01:31:00.000-08:00

Genre: 3rd Person Action Adventure, Open World, Free-Roaming
Rating: PEGI - 18+
The Assassin’s Creed franchise is back and this time your back with Ezio in the animus, but this time, nearly all of the game is set in Rome. Also, there is a brand new multi-player game mode which is very unique. The main worry about the game are that it is not too different from Assassin’s Creed 2 and that what it does change is only small tweaks.

Firstly, the single-player, this is a direct follow on to Assassin’s Creed 2 and this time Ezio, is a bit older and a bit wiser now, is trying to remove the Templar influence from Rome. Along side this runs Desmond in the present and there are a few bits of gameplay with Desmond (although I did want more) and a big twist at the end. I did find the plot less engaging than AC 2’s but the improved aspects of gameplay make up for this. The secret locations, additional memories and the views of Renaissance Italy are up to scratch with Assassin’s Creed 2, giving you hours of extra gameplay. Although the game is almost entirely set in Rome, the amount of space is just right because Rome is about three times the size of Florence is AC 2. The new additions in the game such as the Assassin’s guild (which can be used to train your own assassin’s to fight with you) and the fact you can ride horses inside Rome fit in well, but they are only tweaks because the guild does what the thieves, mercenaries and courtesans did back in AC 2. Finally, the single-player gameplay in AC Brotherhood is a development on AC 2 with a slightly new, more aggressive fighting style and more of the same, loved free-running from AC 2.

Secondly we come on to the brand new multi-player experience in which you play as an Abstergo Agent in an animus, playing as a Templar back in the early 1500s. This is fun for a bit but the novelty does wear off, showing the repetitive nature of the game and how it is in need of some development.

To finish off, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is a great development on the previous titles in the series and although it lacks anything new, it makes and excellent “AC 2.5”. I would recommend this to anyone who has played and enjoyed the previous two in the series and anyone who wants a game they can take at their own pace whether they want to roam the streets (or rooftops) of Rome or get immersed in the unique multi-player. I give Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood a solid rating of 8.5/10

In the colourful sequel, de Blob will paint his way through the enormous and pollution-filled Prisma City accompanied by a fantastic new interactive soundtrack and an arsenal of new tricks to confound his enemies. Joining de Blob will be a new robot sidekick, named Pinky, who will help him blast enemies, disable traps, and negotiate the challenging levels of Prisma City. The game will also present players with new side quests, which allow players to upgrade de Blob’s abilities. de Blob 2: The Underground will feature an in-depth single-player campaign with all-new power-ups and challenges, as well as multiplayer modes that support co-operative and competitive play.

Kirby’s Epic Yarn Release Date: TBC Price for Pre-order: £39.99

Again, they are releasing a platform game just like the old days (well, not so old) where they both fight against the evil Tiki’s which have stolen bananas from the DK island. Nintendo are releasing the old NES classic with familiar characters but new levels. One thing I can say, this is going to be good!

Epic Mickey Release Date: Released 3 days ago!!! Price:£29.99:

This is a “epic” game where one plays as Mickey Mouse who tries to save the world from the trouble he himself created! Harness the power of the paintbrush and mould this new world and save everone from this cartoon wasteland!

Pre-Order Wii games and release dates

2010-11-26T13:17:00.000-08:00

It’s been ages since we’ve talked about the wii, it’s all been iPad this, Kinect that, and we really haven’t thought about it. But Nintendo literally have masses of games on their Preorder chart at the moment and it would be a shame if we did not touch up upon them because there is a diverse variety of really good games from the stars of Nintendo being released coming up until Christmas. So here’s a huge list…

Tron Evolution Release Date: 26/11/2010 (just been released) Price: £19.99

Tron Evolution explores the story behind the very popular Disney movie (which hasn’t been released yet) Tron Legacy. It provides insight into the films past and is recommended for people who would like to see the movie. It’s very futuristic, and it’s based on a special disc-combat, which is used in the Tron mythology.

So what’s the game like? Ok from what I gather, there are good graphics and it’s in the action and adventure genre. It involves battles and racing, but that’s all I know.

You can look at some images though.

Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time Release Date: 26/11/10 (just been released) Price: £24.99

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Release Date: ??? Price: £34.99

This will probably be the best game ever released so far in the Zelda series, using Wii Motion Plus and the nunchuck, you can control Link’s actions like never before

Keep reading folks, we're continuing this tomorrow....

Top 25 iPad Apps!

2010-11-18T12:39:00.000-08:00

You’ve got the iPad, that’s the easy part. Now let’s put it in use. Here, in my opinion, are 25 of the most epic apps and utilities. (Sorry but the apps are not in order of the way I like them).

1) 1Password £2.39

Step forward and buy this surprisingly useful app where you can type a much longer password which can take many letters and numbers unlike the normal apple passcode where you can only type 4 numbers. Also if you forget you’re apple passcode, you may not access your iPad whereas 1Password will let you put a hint.

Here is a link to where you can learn more if you are interested in this app: http://agilewebsolutions.com/onepassword

2) New Amazon Kindle FREE

Have you heard of the New Amazon Kindle? Well it’s a device which lets you read books for free! But to do that you have to pay an awful amount of money to actually buy it. Now you can experience the exact same thing on the iPad for free. It is an amazing app so I suggest you look at this website for more information: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=kcp_ipad_mkt_lnd?docId=1000423883

3) Angry Birds HD £2.99 (Lite Is FREE!)

Have you ever played one of those games where you just sit on the couch all day, level after level? Well if you have, this app is certainly just like that. It’s all about some birds who want to defeat this green guy for no random reason. If I were you I would install the Lite version as it is not that addictive and only contains 12 levels. If you want to get this app then you can check this website out: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/angry-birds/id343200656?mt=8

4) BBC News FREE

Late for work maybe or have to go somewhere really quickly? Well this is the app for you (If you’re an adult!). With BBC News you can listen to the news in a car or whilst you’re running if you put your iPad in a bag. It’s simple. It’s quick. It’s FREE!

If your mum or dad is normally late for work, then download this app for them. Just click here for more info: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-10738882

With this app you can read a VERY WIDE variety of comics. Unfortunately you have to pay for most of the comics but the cost is a lot lower than usual. If you love comics then get cracking and buy this app! Just read this website if you want to be tempted: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2010/04/02/comixologys-ipad-comics-reader-app-in-pictures/

6) Zinio FREE

Zinio is a bit like COMIXOLOGY but instead you get to read magazines. Although you have to pay all the apps apart from four, they are updated every so often and are in HD. Give it a try, after all it is free: http://gb.zinio.com/ipad/

7) Civilization Revolution for iPad £7.99

Sid Meir’s all time classic strategy series lends itself to the iPad. It is the complete version with even more cool features and graphics. It is definitely going on my app list if I ought to buy apps. Will it be your first time you will play a computer game on the iPad? : http://www.civilizationrevolution.com/ipad/

8) SCRABBLE £5.99

This is the full way of playing scrabble, the board game where it tests your English to the MAX. But if you buy scrabble today on the iPad then you will be able to play multiplayer as well. If you enjoy the board game you will probably enjoy it on the iPad as well so check: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scrabble-for-ipad/id363306776?mt=8

9) Labyrinth 2 HD £4.99 (Lite is FREE!)

Labyrinth 2 is a game based on a ball which goes through obstacles which may make the ball fall into a hole. A hole is exactly where not to fall. If you fall in a hole you must restart the level again unless you have a checkpoint. As soon as you go through a checkpoint your game will be saved and whenever you go into a hole you will not have to restart the level. If you are interested, please go onto this website and then you may buy this app: http://www.labyrinth2.com/

10) Worms 2 Armageddon £2.99

This is the game Worms. Well, what are you thinking? 95% of you are probably thinking this is a rubbish game so let’s move on. You’re wrong. Worms is a game where animated worms from 2 different teams use rocket launchers and loads of other Hi-Tech weaponry to destroy each other. Random. If you think you’re interested now go to this website and see someone else’s opinion. 11) BBC iPlayer FREE

Have you just missed one of your favourite movies or a programme on any of the BBC’s including CBBC. What you can do is just install BBC iPlayer and watch any of the programmes you’ve missed from a week before for FREE! It has a very long description for each element and has a picture for each one. If you think that it might be useful in future life, then here is another website: http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/iphone-apps/reference-and-utilities/touch-press-the-elements-uk-and-ireland-694907/review

15) iFooty + £1.79 (iFooty is FREE)

16) iBooks FREE

iBooks is the new way to read books without paper. Unfortunately, some of the books you have to pay for. But quite a lot of them are free. So if you want to read books a lot cheaper or even free then go to this website at: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/ibooks/id364709193?mt=8

17) Dictionary/Thesaurus.com FREE

A dictionary is just a boring old book which just tells you the meanings of words. Now on the iPad it’s a whole lot cooler. For each word in the English language it writes past, present, and future tense. It also writes its noun, verb, adjective and adverb. And even more! It also writes similar meanings to the word. Now that is cool. If you want this awesome dictionary/thesaurus then go to this website: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dictionary-com-dictionary/id364740856?mt=8

18) Fieldrunners £4.99

Fieldrunners is a wicked game where you put towers and turrets everywhere to protect your land. If over 20 people, motorbikes, cars or helicopters get to the other side you lose the game. You can place stuff like turrets, goo cannons, rocket launchers, flamethrowers and zappers which zap you with lightning. Each and every single one of them can get upgraded 3 times. I’ve played this game myself before and it is the best game ever! So if you think that this app is amazing then go to this following website: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fieldrunners-for-ipad/id364204209?mt=8

The endless battle between Flash and Silverlight

2010-11-15T12:53:00.000-08:00

For a while now, there’s been and endless fight between Adobe and Microsoft over the ultimate animation tool. Which one’s best? Which should you use well let’s see…

Firstly, flash is doing better in the market as it is the well known and more original program but Silverlight presents to us a program which brings all the stuff we wanted from flash.

Animation

Flash is based on frame animation, meaning that it works a bit like movie maker, where you place things in frames or slides and add more and more slides until an animation is created. On the contrary Silverlight is time based, you indicate a time for an image to be shown etc. Also Microsoft has made this program easier to use than flash in this sense since one is not required to calculate the positions of objects in the frames and it is more user friendly

File Size

Flash projects are compressed, using minimal space.

Silverlight uses a complex XAML description language and is not compressed so files are usually larger.

Scripting

In Flash, a scripting language called Action Script is used. It comes with a huge library of different applications for use.

In Silverlight there are many different scripts you can choose from.

Sound Processing

ActionScript offers a set of sound classes that can be used to generate and control sound in a movie. You can add sounds from the library while the movie clip is playing and control those sounds. If you do not specify a target when you create a new sound object, there are methods to control sound for the whole movie.

Silverlight doesn’t have the low-level audio APIs you would need to write an audio application in the browser. It doesn’t even support playback of WAV files because .NET programming language has very little audio playback support.

Ease of Use

Both programs have many options and tools that can be used for people who are deaf etc. However Flash has much, much more and definitely beats Silverlight this round.

For more info check this out: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/05/09/flash-vs-silverlight-what-suits-your-needs-best/

However overall, there is clearly a reason why flash is still selling more, because even according to this websites statistics, Flash is still the program you could trust more to get things right. But Microsoft is getting there and eventually enough improvements will be made.

The new Xbox Kinect brings gaming into reality in unbelievable ways without a controller as you are the only controller. Imagine watching movies, listening to music and playing all at the same time with the movement of your body and your voice.

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4

2010-11-07T07:54:00.000-08:00

If you've played one of the past LEGO games -- Star Wars, Batman or Indiana Jones -- the setup to LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 should be pretty easy to get the hang of it. Here, you're going to play through the defining moments of the first four movies and you're going to do it as little LEGO pieces in a little LEGO world. So if the play style is the same, what's so great about LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4?

For beginners, the spell system is a fresh idea. LEGO Batman had different suits for the main characters and LEGO Indiana Jones had the whip and a few other items, but LEGO Harry Potter equips the kids with a number of magical spells that each have their own specific purpose. Wingardium Leviosa is the most basic and the most useful. You use it to lift things up such as boxes and crates. Lumos scares away attacking plants, Riddikulus knocks back your worst fear, and so on.

I had a great time using these incantations. Levitating books back onto the shelf and rearranging LEGO blocks to make stairs was fun, but it was the wond
erment of what I'd learn next that really kept me going. See, because these spells are so particular in what they do in the LEGO Harry Potter world, the game's teasing you with what's coming later. You'll walk down the hill to Hagrid's and pass Cornish Pixies holding items just out of your reach and treasure chests with locks that appear to be unbreakable. You know that you're going to learn how to best these challenges, but you don't know when.

This is all part of another thing I love about LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4: the hub world is back and it's better than ever. Four years of levels could get confusing, but the game does an excellent job of keeping you on track while letting you explore at will. You always start in the Leaky Cauldron and can replay a level with the characters you've unlocked to Diagon Alley to enter cheat codes and spend your studs on new characters. If you want to jump back into the story you can head into Hogwarts and start following Nearly Headless Nick to the next mission.

Well at the moment it has a £25.00 discount and the price is only £19.99. You can find it on PS3, Xbox 360, DS/DSi, PSP, PC and Wii!

IGN rate it as 8.5 but will you buy it and rate as well?

Look below for the gameplay video:

It's certainly left us wanting more." - MSN Tech & Gadgets

"And no great action racer is complete without stunning motors - and the ones we saw at the EA stand in LA were in top gear... Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is out in November - and you Need to get it!" - News of the World

"A definite contender for the coveted top spot at Christmas" - Daily Star Sunday

"It's almost automatically the best Need for Speed in a decade, a simple, pristine heaven for high-speed arcade racing."-EuroGamer

Playstation Move Games!

2010-11-01T12:50:00.000-07:00

There's been quite a few "Move" games released, all are pretty different so here is a list of top games (please note these will all later be published on a Move/Kinect page I will probably make in the future and I will):

The Games which use the Camera:

EyePet:

It's soooo cool. Some people may have seen the PS2's EyeToy technology, but this is like never before. For those who do not know, this is basically a game which shows your room using its camera and you, the player. Using your body as the controller, you can be at the centre of the game in this case stroking your pet and playing with it, as if it was real!!! You can interact with this cute little creature and play all sorts of games. See more:http://us.playstation.com/games-and-media/games/eyepet-ps3.html

See more on the Move page being released on the 2nd of November 2010!

Wii Party is out...

2010-10-29T00:27:00.000-07:00

This is the newest release by Nintendo, following Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Sports Resort. Again, as with the other releases it's at it best in multiplayer. Look at this gameplay footage, sorry about the Japanese...

It looks Ok, but perhaps too similar to Mario Party 8, Hmm?? And i'm not too sure about if there's a WIDE variety of games. I haven't played it but people who have say this game is only good in multiplayer and I can see why. Then I had a look on the nintendo website, and that changed my view. It does have 80+ games apparently. To find out more check this link:
http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/games/wii/wii_party_18227.html?acqtype=ad&adcat=link&adsite=google.co.uk&adname=UK_Xmas You should check out the games!

Also I am proud to announce the release of the new Gadget Page which is updated very often, click this link to be directed to it: http://matin115-videogamesandreviews.blogspot.com/p/gadgets.html

So, Xbox Kinect, Playstation Move or Wii-you decide!

2010-10-13T13:02:00.000-07:00

Ok now we've seen a few new "active games" which is better?

A- Wii, released first, it was their idea- simple and effective. But will the Graphics let them down?

B-Xbox Kinect, not even out yet but looks pretty cool-maybe a bit too late out on the market?

C-Playstation Move, Hmm... just released, impressive graphics, copying Wii remote perhaps.

I dunno, you decide. Please Comment.

Personally I think the fact that you have to have the console ie PS3 and Xbox as well in B and C is a great disadvantage but that's only because I think that one should be able to try them all within an affordable price...

New Playstation Move! A review by IGN

2010-10-10T08:59:00.001-07:00

The New XBOX Kinect- coming soon!

2010-10-09T01:52:00.000-07:00

You may have seen or heard about "Kinect" coming out. But what exactly is it? Well it's kind of Microsoft's try to beat the Playstation Move, EyeToy and Wii. However I'd say it's more similar to the EyeToy. It uses sensors for range of various fun Party,Adventure,Action,Lifestyle, and Dance and Fitness games. Microsoft has achieved what the eye toy achieved, but much more! The picture on the left is from their Adventure game-Kinect Adventures. You can see more on the official Xbox website:http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/kinect/games.htm

Well I think the graphics look pretty good, well, they are ok...

It's coming out November 2010, I guess we''ll have to wait and see.
