World of Dragons: I AM DRAGON HEAR ME ROAR!

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a dragon? To kill orcs and humans for the hell of it or to get your hands...er...claws on gold?! How about raising a family for dragons and taking them with you to make killing,hunting,and looting the creatures that inhabit your domain more easily? Well this app let's you do all that! Recently purchased this from the play store on my android phone and it's pretty neat! At first I had no idea what to do...then I decided to read the handy dandy help book that I had missed! And the World of Dragons opened up right before my very eyes! *o*

At first I decided to get acquainted with the controls of the game and at first it felt a bit...odd...but after a while I got used to it and they aren't that bad...just takes some getting used to! As you can see in the top image there is a bat as well as the stats and to the right you will see the action bar. The two fiery ones are the skills you get as you level fire breath and fire ball. Top one is flight so you can well...fly and the bottom one is your first attack "bite" which you also use on downed enemies...OR SHEEP...to devour them and fill up your hunger bar(green bar)! That's right you will get hungry but no worries! Finding food isn't that difficult in this game since you can basically eat everything and everyone! Except yourself...and your wife...or kids...moving on!

The main goal of this game is that there is no goal. Sure you have a few bosses to beat,treasure to loot,and a family to raise but mainly you go around and kill things to survive. But there are rewards for hoarding gold and they are in the form of different colored skins,fire,and armors that reduce the damage you take! This gives the game an addictive side to it that makes you want to kill everything and get as much gold as possible to get all the skins,fires,and armor and then RULE THE WORLD! But besides that you also level up from killing mobs! From what I have heard there is an indefinite amount of levels and your two offspring and female companion also level up with you as you can see on the bottom screen. The red bars under the dragons is there exp.

This games combat system is pretty neat although a bit repetitive but then again when have dragons ever really done much other than shoot out fire and bite the hell out of people? Only rarely! You can choose between activating combat mode in flight to rain down hell on your enemies or you can get up close and personal and devastate them with a barrage of flame and tooth! You can destroy towers and castles from both orcs and humans or just go out and hunt down the bosses which range from a giant black widow to the dragon king himself! Each drops treasure as well as gives a nice load of experience to give you the edge and confidence to take on the other bosses! Then you will be worthy of being called...THE DRAGON KING OF THE DRAGON KING!

This game is still fairly new but with more attention it will add more content such as more bosses,a different map,maybe even more attacks for you to switch out with your fire attacks? Ice breath anyone? How about lightning shocks to the face? I wouldn't mind seeing that! But for now this game is worth the $0.99 you're gonna have to chip out to play this awesome game and it is well worth it! You get way more than what you paid for and future updates will make this game worth every penny and more! I recommend this game to anyone that has ever wanted to be a dragon or that thinks of themselves as a dragon in every other dimension except this one...roar!

Nimble Quest: Snake With A Twist...

How many of you have ever played the game snake? Remember the old school game where your goal was to collect blocks to grow longer and to avoid hitting walls and your own body? Well Nimble Quest is that...but with a twist(in case someone didn't read the title)! Instead of collecting blocks you collect heroes to grow longer! But they don't just follow you around...they each attack! What do they attack? Enemies of course! These enemies will be moving around trying to kill you and you will be moving around to attack and avoid colliding with them! Cool huh? You start off with a few heroes and as you progress in the levels unlock more! Rangers,mages,zombie warriors,and other awesome heroes make up the roster for this awesome game! To make things interesting the more heroes you unlock the more choices you have of which to make the leader! The leader is special because if that hero dies...game over! Your hero can die from taking too much damage,colliding with an enemy,colliding with walls,or colliding with other heroes! This means you can't just wander around and have to be attentive to what is going on around you! But the same applies to enemies! If you see an enemy "snake" and kill off the front enemy you kill the other two!

The first few levels are simple...as would be expected! But as you progress you begin to meet more daunting foes! From healers to demons you will never face the same combination of enemies! But just as your enemies grow stronger so does your hero! The more you use your favorite hero the more "experience" they get! once they reach the max amount they gain a star and unlock a bonus to attack speed,movement speed,or health points! This gives you rewards for playing the game and it makes things more interesting by adding a leveling factor! Another thing that further helps you is the bonuses you can get with tokens. These tokens can be obtained through trading 1000 gems or winning them in the guild battle system. All you have to do is participate and at the end you get your tokens! You can also use the gems to upgrade the buffs you will find in the game such as the above shown ice shield! You upgrade the duration so that they are more useful than when they were just level one!

This game never really gets boring and is a fun time sink for when you are having a slow day at work,or when your college professor doesn't show up for thirty minutes! Whatever you want this game is fun and if you can get friends into it you can even slam em with your highscore! Thanks for reading this review and I hope it helped you out! Dungeon Village: Build,Recruit,Kill,and Earn!

I had been playing this game for a few months now and completely and totally forgot to write a review on it! Shame on me! But in all seriousness this game is probably one of the most addicting mobile games I've ever played! From the moment I bought this game on the google play store to now I have not stopped playing it and my village continues to grow! I'm not sure if the developers intend on adding more content to it but with what it has now it is more than entertaining! Now let me get down to the sweet details!

You start off as a lowly mayor of an equally lowly town of whatever you decided to name it. You are then tasked with building it up and recruiting adventurers to wipe out any monsters that will appear. Simple huh? Well to add a bit of a twist to it the monsters will become more difficult as the game progresses,adventurers will level up and purchase items from your stores,the more weapons and armors your adventurers loot the more are unlocked in the armor and weapon shops. All this money goes to you so that you may build more money generating buildings or purchase weapons and armor to give to an adventurer of your choice! This means you can fully deck out a few adventurers to give them the edge to face the upcoming challenges! Also you will be able to use that money to send off adventurers and have them complete quests around your town! Whether it be exploring a dungeon,to destroying a horde of mobs! This also means you will be faced with "boss" monsters every once in a while! These are usually dragons and some of them remind me of pokemon or godzilla characters! Which makes it even more entertaining!

Now that basically sums up the game but there is still a bit more! Your adventurers do level up as they complete quests or just kill monsters out on the field! The max level is 10 and upon reaching that level is 10 and upon reaching the cap they can change to another class. Each class having bonuses to either the amount of money generated to the amount of customers a store will receive as well as battlefield bonuses! You also unlock that class if you already haven't and some of them are a bit bizarre! One such class is the "clown" class and the "maid" class! I have no idea why they are added but I think it's cool and they do have their own reasons for being in the game...I just haven't figured out! This means that you can have an entire army of clown adventurers killing off other monsters. Clowns are safe from being eaten by monsters...because they taste funny...get it? THEY TASTE FUNNY! Ha...ha...ha...okay back to business! Each adventurer has an amount of happiness that when at a certain point allows you to build them a house so that they become permanent residents of your town! And that means more money for you! You get to collect taxes from them and they don't care! HA! They will also give you certain buildings that boost the stats of adventurers that enter them!

Another interesting feature of this game is the event system! To give your adventurers more of an edge over the monsters you can hold these to boost their strength,dexterity,intelligence,hp,or toughness! So holding events early and buffing up your adventurers is something that will be a necessity if you intend to save money on buying healing items for the downed adventurers! You can also boost your popularity which will give you a chance of attracting more adventurers! Neat huh? So hold them melon eating contests and marathons till they are so strong they one shot everything! Just kidding...I don't think that's possible! There is also a development system where you unlock a cauldron and throw random stuff in there to boost certain elements and after a while you will unlock either a building,spell,accessory,armor,weapon,or something else that will help you expand your town!

This game is addicting so for anyone that plans on purchasing it rest assured...you will get your moneys worth and probably get caught playing this on your phone at work more than once...like me. >.>

Archlord 2

THIS GAME IS STILL IN OPEN BETA SO THIS REVIEW WILL CHANGE AS THE GAME RELEASES MORE CONTENT AND POSSIBLE FIXES!

Alright I'm not going to sugar coat this at all...but this game needs serious work. Before anyone starts throwing comments left and right about how I am wrong remember...I'm never wrong. Now back on subject! Archlord 2 is NOT I repeat NOT a direct sequel to the original Archlord. "But omg Igneius it has a TWO in the name"! NO just like Ragnarok Online 2 Archlord 2 is basically not a direct sequel. Apparently the entire story of Archlord 2 is based on a parallel dimension. Yeah I don't get it either but from what I could grasp in the trailer it's the same thing. Orcs/Moonelf vs Humans/Dracopeopleshits...w/e. Both separated into the Azuni(Humans) and the Crunn(Orcs). ERMERGERD WOW CLONE MUCH? Is what I've read all over the place. But that's for whoever is playing this to decide. MOVING ON!

Azuni Crunn

Class wise there are no classes. Yep that's right a classless system! You can also equip a secondary weapon ala Guild Wars 2 and utilize that weapons skills to help you out on the battlefield! Want to be an archer with the ability to tank in case a monster or players gets too close? You can! Want to be a wizard that can cast powerful magic skills while being able to further damage large mobs with a two handed sword? You can! This adds another layer of complexity to PvP and PvE but it is rarely used due to sets benefiting one stat that the other may need. Example would be the shield and sword and bow users. Both are viable for using a set that gives +dodge and so on since both can do greatly with a pure agility build. But a bow+staff user is kind of left out in the open due to the lack of magic attack from the armor and missing stats. So it isn't all fun and games! Also the main weapon you choose from the start gets 1 additional skill point per weapon level. That's right you get to level your weapons individually and you will receive a debuff on said weapons if your weapon level is lower than what is required to wield it!

Now most of you are thinking that this game is open world where each faction clashes on the field and mighty warriors test their mettle...but you would be mistaken. The game goes the carebear route. Quest areas are PvE ONLY and PvP is limited to Battlegrounds,Contested Areas(which are separate),and Skirmishes. Okay...I could understand this for you know the tutorial area or whatever the hell you want to call it kind of like how on Aion the first few maps are safe then BAM rifts are opening and players from the opposing faction pour through to murder the hell out of you causing high level players from your faction to raise weapons in order to defend you the not so geared player! But for the ENTIRE game in terms of PvE you are never met with any opposition other than monsters. That...is...boring! Why would you call this a hardcore pvp mmorpg when the entire time from levels 1-41(current cap) are empty of any PvP?! I went into the skirmish area thinking I might get into some heated battle...but I was WRONG! NOBODY is in the level 10 or 20 contested areas. NOBODY! Now I get it...most players are probably in the level 41 battlegrounds and so on but really...NOBODY?! One of my friends bumped into ONE person in the contested area for level 10...after being there for about an hour. Just....whatever...for you PvP lovers(like myself) you are going to have to sit through a few days of doing quests before you get to see any PvP just like I am doing right now to hit level 30 and get some PvP done...hopefully.

The PvE in this game is just as stale as most games. Grab a quest,go out and kill or collect stuff or both,and then head on back to get your experience points! Yep...FUN! Not even the dungeons are mildly interesting with the exception of Nightmare but even that is a pain to take place in! Why you may ask? Because I have been in the dungeon finder que for about 15 minutes and have yet to get a party to tackle nightmare! Normal dungeons are a joke and can be soloed by any player even though it does take more time! So there is no real reason to do anything in a group other than dungeons. FUN! The only promise of things getting interesting are when the announced contested areas with bosses and other things gets released! I can't wait to take down a huge boss while having to watch my back for any Crunn players! But that is a ways off and right now this is all we have to go with.

Graphics wise...well it's alright. Having played Mu Online,Ragnarok Online,and other games with less than interesting graphics I am fine with these. The one thing that does annoy me is that I have a gaming rig that can run TERA,Aion(forts etc),and other demanding games at 60+ frames per second but you are telling me that THIS game makes the FPS drop to 25?! WHAT KIND OF POOP IS THIS?! Bleh...this might get fixed...or not...I'm hoping it does!

Now I know I kind of went off on this game but it isn't all bad! Skills are flashy,combat is fine...with the exception of you sometimes not auto attacking,and gear looks smexy as it always should! But like I said at the start...this game needs a whole lot of work! The majority of the PvP is basically left for end game. So to those of you that wanted to have fun right from the start...NOT HERE! But for now I suggest people play this so they can hit the level cap,get geared,and be ready to tackle the next wave of content! Preview of new content to be added is right here! Eudemons Online: Upcoming Expansion

Eight years. That is how long Eudemons Online has been up and running. Considering the many things they have done wrong with handling new classes and balancing out the new ones apparently they finally decided to do something right! Maybe? According to a recent post on their official Facebook page they will be releasing new skills and applying class balances to even out the playing field! This is good to hear because in all honesty I would love to make a warrior or a mage or paladin and not feel gimped from the start! And yes I did give into the Necromancer class but I have a warrior and mage ready to test the new expansion! Right now they have only released a screenshot of the new warrior skill(or skills?) and it looks promising!

Look at the shininess! LOOK AT IT! This skill will hopefully put warriors on par with Vampires and Necromancers and I am hoping the new class they announced isn't overpowered beyond belief! Because honestly I miss the days of old when you would log into the game and see warriors,mages,and paladins running around! Now all I really ever see are vampires and necromancers...with a rare paladin or warrior and hardly any mages! But that will soon change! Right? The new class that has been announced is the "Shadow Knight" class! People are assuming that it is a mixture between warriors and necromancers but I am hoping it is a class all its own and differs from the others! Just to add a bit of spice to the game! You know what I mean? Here is some concept art as well as a screenshot of the weapons they will be using which apparently look like spears? :D

What do you guys think? Will this balance the game out and will this new class be overpowered? Or will things FINALLY settle into place and will this game make a comeback of sorts? Celes Arca: Android Gaming Review

So I have noticed that I have been gone for a very long time...and undoubtedly lost a large portion of the people that would actually read any of these articles! But now that I am back(and no I did not go to jail) I plan on doing some much needed cleaning,updating,and more importantly submitting new articles for you all to read! That being said let's get started with this article!

Celes Arca Online is a very gorgeous game that reminds me of a time when all I had was Final Fantasy on my SNES and would bust my head open trying to figure out how to beat a certain boss! Call it nostalgia but I have found myself strangely addicted to this game! As some of you may have already figured out Celes Arca has a turn based combat system similar to the early Final Fantasy games! This means that you must carefully select how to handle monsters or bosses or you might find yourself kissing the ground more often than not! You are given a set amount of skills based on what stones you produce and place into slots on your weapon! I am still fairly new to the game but the most slots I have on me right now is 2 on my weapon. But that's more than enough for the monsters of my level and I am sure that as I craft better weapons I will gain access to a few more!

Now unlike most turn based games you do not get npc characters or mercenaries to help you but rather a player can simply jump into combat and join your party! This makes for interesting encounters and also means that less people fight over mobs in areas! Most of you are probably thinking that you get a penalty to your experience but from what I have seen that doesn't really happen at all! Everyone gets the full amount of experience points so this encourages players to help out if they can! So let's say you're fighting a monster and are having trouble...then out of nowhere a player pops in and helps you by casting a healing spell or using an item on you! Both of you just took down a monster,got the exp,and probably become friends and take down even more baddies! Sounds good huh?

To make things even more interesting this game also has 3 different classes that you can choose from upon reaching level 5! As you can see in the image above they are the more basic ones and not much of a selection...right? But it gets better! Upon reaching level 35 you are allowed to do another advancement quest which allows for you to choose from 1 of 2 branching classes! Not enough? Well you upgrade and specialize even more upon reaching level 65! Which is what I am trying to do right now! The title of Lord Knight...makes me drool! But enough of that! You have a wide variety of class advancements which specialize in different areas and if you are really curious just check out the wiki which shows all the different ones and what they specialize in! From a first time player I am very much interested in playing this game and reaching level 65! Not only for the title of Lord Knight but also for the opportunity to take part in boss fights as well as join or create a guild and defeat monsters and so on! The community of this game is lively and you will undoubtedly see people fighting monsters,doing quests, and asking for items in this game as well as talking on the main chat! This is pretty cool and I am looking forward to being part of this community! If you are interested in checking it out these are the links for both the Android Version and the Apple Version!

Ragnarok Online 2

Alright so besides the other Ragnarok 2 that was scrapped completely this is the one that is currently out and breathing! This game boasts pretty nice graphics as well as some systems that are derived from the original and beloved Ragnarok Online. But it is not at all an actual predecessor! This is a completely different game with little to nothing in common with the original! Not really worth of being called Ragnarok Online 2 but it does stay true to a few things and for those of you that have played the original,seeing the world of Ragnarok with better graphics might just be an awesome experience!

Classes are broken down to the usual in any online game! Archer,Assassin,Warrior,Mage,Healer,and the odd ball of the game as well as new race the Noel which can be Alters. At level 25 each class has a choice of one of two class specializations and will unlock an entire new skill tree! As you progress through the game you will notice that their are now instances and that MvP monsters are now instance bosses or raid bosses!

The game is also more linear than the original in the sense that you aren't encouraged to actually explore the world or maps! You just get quests,kill a few mobs,turn them in,rinse and repeat. Again nothing bad but it is a bit of a let down to those of us who were expecting it to stay true to its roots!

For those of you that loved WoE in the original Ragnarok Online then you will be happy to know that it is also included in this version! I have not personally attended WoE so the mechanics might be a bit different but aside from that it seems pretty promising!

This will be one of my shorter reviews due to me being a level 20 barely so expect for things to change on this review as time passes by!

Tera Online

Yes I know I haven't been posting as many reviews as I should but my laptop broke and I had to upgrade.Now I can run higher graphics mmos though and do reviews on them so I suppose it's a plus?Anyways...Recently TERA went free to play with the update "TERA Rising".With this came restrictions to free-to-play players such as only being able to make two characters per server but having access to every class and race so it's not much of a big deal.I will be updating this section though as I advance and see that any limitations are troublesome!TERA Online is by far the most graphically beautiful game I have played.The environments are lush and the mobs as well as players are very well detailed!So for those of you with a high end pc or laptop that love awesome graphics this game is for you!But before you go on and download it finish reading this post!

TERA's roster of races and classes is simply amazing!There are no gender locked classes and the only gender locked race would be the giant rock guys(forgot the name)!Every race has an assortment of racials that you gamers that love maxing out and being the best you can possibly be should look into before you finalize your character and jump into the world of Arborea.I still haven't chosen a class but I am stuck between a priest and a mystic and I am leaning towards mystic!The class roster is as follows:Lancer,Warrior,Slayer, Berserker,Priest,Mystic,Sorcerer,and Archer!So you will have quite a few to choose from and every class has a different play style!Be sure to check them out!

Gameplay wise it is very similar to Monster Huner in the sense that you can dodge attacks or block attacks depending on your class.This is extremely crucial for classes that intend to tank the BAMs(Big Ass Monsters) that they will undoubtedly bump into and be required to kill as they adventure throughout the game.From every class that I have played so far(Archer,Warrior,Slayer,Sorcerer,Berserker) I can say that being able to avoid being hit is key to not dying...no duh right?Also the attack and skill animations are beautifully executed and are fluid which is a plus to those that are annoyed by sluggish actions.

The community is active and may even be MORE active due to the transition to free to play so finding groups,guilds,friends,and so on isn't such a pain in the ass as it is on some mmos.Adventuring in a group WILL make your experience more enjoyable and it is cool to be able to sit around a campfire and just chat about random stuff to pass the time!As I am still a new player to TERA you can expect this review to be short but it will get updated as I get further in the game.Stay tuned peeps ;)

List of MMOS with a couples system

I have received requests to make a post specifying which mmorpgs are suited for couples or friends that would like to use a couples system to reap the benefits.After researching and downloading many mmos due to my horrible memory I have finally been able to release a list of just that!I will be updating this so be sure to check back every once in a while!This list is in no general order so don't think they are listed from best to worst.Just watch out for those people that pretend to be girls to get stuff as well as those nasty divorces that leave you with almost nothing! :c

The first game I would like to mention is Grand Fantasia.Having played this with my girlfriend I know first hand what the couples system can do.Aside from getting bonus experience while around your couple you also gain a currency conveniently named "Lover Coins" every week based on the total level of the the two lovebirds divided by ten.These coins can be used to purchase many goodies from special buffs to bigger bags and even items that you would normally have to purchase from the cash shop such as chisels to make sockets in your gear as well as exp buffs.If that isn't enough to convince you to join hands with someone couples also gain buffs to apply to each other which is especially helpful during dungeon runs or pvp.If you want more info just stop by the official Grand Fantasia Wiki.

As if being able to switch your character class at any time wasn't reason enough to play this or being able to build your own guild town if you work hard enough Aeria Games has also included a couple system!Much like Grand Fantasia when on the same map as your other half you receive CP and EXP +10% as well as being able to see the position of your lover(the pretty pink heart on the map).You also obtain "Luv Coins" to buy nice potions that will be life savers in the future and any serious player should have them!You also get couple specific skills that can be activated by using a "Heart".I have not been able to find a lover on Eden Eternal(Forever alone) but I am sure Hearts are obtained passively.You can check out the official Eden Eternal Wiki

Yes as if Mabinogi weren't addictive enough as it is they also have the nerve to add a couples system!Players can get married at there respective race towns and can hold a huge wedding to show off to the rest of the people that will never find another lover!After holding the ceremony of chaining yourselves together for all eternity you can choose to create a family.Yeah Nexon just make us not want to leave our chairs....*ahem* this is interesting for those people who want to add friends to a family tree the more people you add the more exp bonus you receive!That's right you also get a max of 40% exp bonus after having EIGHT family members!For more info on the marriage and family systems check it out here:Marriage Family

Forsaken World...well I may as well add the Perfect World Entertainment logo and summarize this post...but that's just no fun.As like most PWE mmos Forsaken World also has a marriage system that,as most of you guessed,you need to pay real cash for.Sure you can argue that you could just earn in game gold to trade for it in the auction house but let's not forget this has the "Soul" currency that is soul bound and only good for buying skills or other items from the several npcs.Making it that much harder to get hitched in this game...also there are no benefits to being married.Except getting a title that says you are the property of [insert name here that has xX at beginning and end].More info here.Awesome Wedding and Divorce

Dragonica Online is a 3d action mmorpg that is compatible with your joypad/game controllers.The addictiveness of running dungeons and getting SSS ranking as well as competing to beat the times of previous players adds on to the entertainment value!To make it even more awesome you get a couples system as well as a marriage system!As a couple you have access to passive and active buffs to make running through dungeons a breeze as well as couple only actions such as making out in front of other strangers like most twelve year old kids do to be cool!But after you get married by doing a few quests you gain access to couple only dungeons that can be tackled together or seperatly....no idea why you would do it alone though!Read more at the official Dragonica Online website! Fiesta has always been an mmo that I never really enjoyed but that is just me.For those of you out there that may like it you will be glad to know that it also has a couples system!Aside from the usual buffs that are given you actually get to hold your own wedding and invite people to join in on the celebration!If that isn't enough you also get a wedding pet as well as bonus exp when the two of you are partied up together!You can also summon your wife or husband to you in case someone is putting the moves on them!Quite handy if you ask me.More info at the wiki.Marriage Guide

RIFT is one of my all time favorite mmorpgs!From invasions to the fun and fast paced pvp this game is sure to have what you are looking for!Having the ability to spread your skill points into any of three same type classes you are capable of creating your very own class unique to your playing style!The new expansion added more goodies to do as well as more classes for you to use to further perfect your unique class.A marriage system is in place and although I never personally got hitched I have heard that it is somewhat expensive using in game coins (I believe 5 platinum?) so be sure to have enough left over for the honey moon!More info at the official wiki Marriage

If you are a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem games where you control mercenaries or troops while fighting monsters and being able to earn items and gear to make you look like a badass then this game is for you!At first glance it looks kind of bland since you don't have any skills or any mercenaries to help you out but after the tutorial where you beat up a few thieves and are introduced to the game mechanics you begin to see that this game has much more promise!

The available classes for you and your mercenaries are Archer,Priest,Mage,and Swordsman.Not much but as they level you can change them to two different classes.I didn't pay attention to Luke when he explained this but I am sure you will!Each class has skills that are devastating and visually stunning when used in combat.In order to obtain these skills you must first find a skill stone.You can also upgrade skills and uncover different skills from skill stone boxes you may find.This means you are not limited to one class and can play all the classes if you so wish!

As you progress through the games main quests and try to join the ranks of the mercenaries you are introduced to each npc such as the weapon and armorsmiths and the potion npc.This will be of great help to any new players as this is a key part of not dying...no seriously.After doing all that you are finally allowed to speak to the head of the Mercenaries Guild Lucas...but call him Luke...he demands it.After a brief umm..."conversation" you are given a task...BATTLE LUKE!Not really...you simply kill two slimes then the game takes over and the fight is carried out by the game...I would have like to put an arrow between his eyes but I suppose this will do.
After the "fight" with Luke you are finally granted permission to be part of the mercenaries guild!Yay!But first you have to recruit mercenaries so that you aren't such a loner!Who needs real friends right?Downside?It is completely random!Choosing which mercenaries you get is decided by a card game.You flip a card and that's what you get.You can have multiple goes at it but this will cost you gold or M-Tickets.It's not so bad though considering you could be forced to pay cash shop currency for better mercenaries.So enjoy this mini game that will decide your fate in battle!Nothing serious right?Hehe...

I recently stumbled across this online game while browsing the Everquest 2 website.At first I thought what harm could it do right?Might as well try it out!After having played through the tutorial area called "Isle of Dawn" and some of the first few quests I was instantly hooked and was amazed at the amount of depth in such a game!Many games lack depth and rely on spoon feeding the players but Vanguard knows better!Leveling is no longer limited to simply your basic level and gear is no longer limited to pvp/pve gear!You can level diplomacy by interacting with npcs,crafting by...well crafting,harvesting,and can equip gear to give a boost to each profession!I haven't delved deeper into the different professions but Diplomacy is by far my favorite!
Vanguard is a freemium game but the restrictions aren't so bad.You have access to all the content the game has to offer as a free player with four character slots and you gain regular exp from mobs as well as access to mobs obtainable in game.As a premium player you get 50% more exp,12 character slots,max vault space,and some other perks.At first this wasn't such a big deal having played Lord of The Rings Online I was used to this system...but then I saw something that just made me question the intelligence of the developers:You can't equip orange gear unless you are a premium player...WTF?!For more info visit this link: https://www.vanguardthegame.com/free.vm
The difficulty in Vanguard is pretty high compared to most mmos...and I like it!I actually feel like every skill I cast is meaningful and as a Necromancer fan I take pride in crushing my opponents souls with my DoTs and debuffs while torturing them with my minions until they draw their last breath!This game requires you to use your brain a bit and to know your class of choices weaknesses and strengths.Running solo might work for a bit but it is NOT recommended!You will reach points where you just can't complete a quest because mobs gank you or they just hit to damn hard!Sometimes you'll even have a quest for a boss that is labeled "Soloable" but healers and some mages will have a tough time with these quests...I should know I have died a few times from such a quest.To make things easier for you and your buddies there are brotherhoods and caravans.Go here to get some more info on those: https://www.vanguardthegame.com/game-guide.vm
I was told by some players that their is a PvP arena later on at level 48 that you can go to to test your skills against fellow players and for those of you that just want to have a friendly duel that is also available starting at level 8.I have not gotten into the PvP aspect so I can't really comment on the class balance and stuff but I will update this whenever I get the chance.
I have encountered many players that did not know that Vanguard was still up and running.This amazed me because if I hadn't decided to be nosy I would never have found it in the first place!As I continue to play I have discovered that I am indeed a fan of exploring and Vanguard has given me the best sense of exploration by far from the many mmorpgs I have played.It is no longer that you are limited to linear gameplay where you go to a town do quests go to a dungeon kill the boss and move on to the next town.Vanguard breaks free of this linear path that games have taken and gives you an open world to explore!Using riftways you can explore different areas filled with different monsters!You can get on a mount and go out into the world KNOWING that you will find something such as a dungeon or sidequests.The map however is very poor in quality and shows only a few dots representing the different npcs or dungeons that are available.I am glad that it is this way though as it helps you feel like you are an actual adventurer with a crappy map and a world full of unknown adventure before you!
Community wise the player base is healthy on the Telon server and there are always people online to help or are in need of help so finding a party or a few questing buddies shouldn't be a problem!I haven't bumped into any role playing groups yet so for those of you out there that like to RP keep an eye on this as I will be updating it soon.
As I continued my adventures I reached a dungeon called Khregors End.Not knowing this was a dungeon I ventured in only to be stopped at the entrance by an arachnid that made mince meat of my creature and myself.I went back a second time but this time I asked for a group and was amazed at how quickly I got a full party with a healer and tank plus a bunch of dps!We ventured in working our way through the spiders and down the winding pathway until we reached the bottom floor.Dwarves and Bugbears were busy mining and we began the full on massacre of each and every one of them!I asked how long this dungeon took to do.I was thinking five maybe twenty minutes tops...but boy was I wrong..an hour and thirty minutes later we resurfaced leveled and with all our quests finished and ready to turn in!This aspect,though long and gruesome,was extremely rewarding!I jumped from level thirteen to level nineteen and managed to get some equipment to bolster me for the next round where we face off against the KING!Dungeons are a nice way to explore the world while meeting new comrades and creating ties with them for future adventures!

After having played this game EXTENSIVELY(yeah I got addicted so what!) I must say it is by far my favorite mmo!For those of you that love endlessly killing hoards of monsters in search of a better piece of equipment or levels then this game is for you!Let me get started by saying that this game has gender locked classes...which is a downer for some of you but it is still in open beta so this may change!The classes are Templar(Male),Witch(Female),Duelist(Male),Barbarian(Male),Shadow(Male),and Ranger(Female).

As you can see each class specializes in certain areas.Example the Shadow specializes in int and dex.Templar is str and int.Marauder is pure strength and so on and so forth.Now this may seem bad for a few of you but it is actually not a problem.Because the skill system is based on stones that drop from mobs.You can level these skills up by using them and you can use any skill from any of the three branches.So you can be a Marauder with a bash attack and still be able to pew pew with your lightning bolts.Experimentation at its finest!

Things get better!How?Well the skill tree is so immense that you can build up your character to have fast attack speed and damage and a lot of other combinations in whichever way you please!I never once looked at a guide to choose what passives I would get from the skill tree and I must say this freedom was awe inspiring!Some mmos could learn a thing or two from this system!If you think I am exaggerating take a look at the picture to the right.That isn't even the full thing!

Grinding Gear Games has yet to implement a cash shop so I cannot determine how this will affect the gamplay.My hopes are high though that it will not be game breaking!
The community is somewhat...quiet to say the least.I hardly ever joined others to adventure on the island and I was never asked to.The chat is somewhat quiet which seemed a bit off to me.You can party up with players so if you want post in some forums and get a group to join you!It might give you an entire new look on this game that I did not get to experience.
Path of Exiles is a good game and I strongly recommend that you check it out!Even if you aren't a fan of these types of mmos it is still worth it!

Elsword

Elsword is a nice action game that is fun to play and visually pleasing for those that like flashy skills.Many new classes have been added as well as characters(Chung) so the choices are very nice.Character customization is limited mainly to cash shop items but you can customize your character even more later in the game.The gameplay is fast paced and fun,the controls are simple,and the exp rate for completing dungeons is awesome!The one thing that may be seen as an eyesore is the infamous stamina system which limits the amount of dungeons you can do per day.But this is not as bad as it seems!If you do dungeons in a party you will use up LESS of your stamina and you also get a nice exp bonus!During weekends you also have unlimited stamina so you can go wild and can kill all those monsters until your eyes bleed!

You can advance to different classes as you level(15,35) and each class has all new skills to master as well as a different look!Some classes are faster than the others while others are slower but hit harder.You are the master of your destiny and the way you play this game!

The PvE is fun like I mentioned earlier but it is in dungeons and can get a bit repetitive after a while.Quests are all over the place but they are usually the same and will have you running the same instances over and over again until you have completed them all.But hey we aren't playing an action game for the story right?Every character does have a back story that is presented after you create your character so it's not all bad.

Elsword does have a PvP part to it and,though I took part in it occasionally,it was quite fun!Arena matches have three choices for you:1vs1,2vs2,and 3vs3.Participating in them gives you exp and if you win also gives you rank/arena points to increase your PvP rank!If you lose though you get a small amount of exp as well as arena points/fame.At times I found myself paired against an opponent that was CLEARLY out of my league and way above my level.But I suppose it is a small price to pay for everything else it does right!

All in all I would recommend this game for those who are looking for a game that is straight to the point and fun to boot!Enjoy!

Tales of Pirates 2 is a game that I first started playing before I had even the basic understanding of what the word "noob" meant.I recently went back to see how the sequel was and I must say...not much has changed.That isn't to say it is bad but graphics wise it still has the same medium graphics it had before.As I started off as a noob the first thing that came to mind was of how I was goign to make money and what build I should follow.The community was amazingly responsive and friendly when I asked and now have enough gold to buy myself that nifty level 50 crusader set!The forums are just the same though as with all mmorpgs it has its share of trolls.
Tales of Pirates 2 has four races that you can select from!The male races are the Carsis and the Lance while the females are Phillis and Ami.Classes are gender locked though some share classes!You are shown a diagram upon creating your first character.ToP2 has a total of ten classes.You start off as a newbie and at level 10 receive your first upgrade to either Swordsman,Herbalist,Explorer,or Hunter.At level 41 you are allowed to upgrade to your advanced class.The carsise only has one class and that is the Swordsman at level 10 andChampion at level 41.The other races have many advancemnts.Swordsman go to Crusaders,Herbalists can choose to be a Sealmaster or a Cleric,Explorer changes to Voyager,and Hunter changes to Sharpshooter!
As for game play wise it is a click to move and attack game with the option to customize your performance via stat points (1 per level and 5 every ten levels),imbedding gems,or fusing your gear with fashion items to improve the performance!This game seems very cash shop dependant but if you go to the forums you will see many ways of earning in game gold and buying cash shop items without having to waste a dime!
Game content is mainly PvE with some instances every few hours that give amazing rewards and some PvP dueling,bar fights,and even boat battles!Some world bosses show up also and those are the ones you will be hunting for when you reach a high level.You are also given the option to rebirth after a certain level and get some nice wings and stats but this is a challenge as one of the bosses spawns every 24 hours!
I would recommend ToP2 to those who are looking for a game that doesn't take up a lot of space on your computer and does not require a super computer to run properly!

Shin Megami Tense Imagine is an innovative and interesting game.It takes place in apocalyptic Japan and has a nice vibe to it.In the beginning I had some difficulty getting used to the combat system but after playing a bit more I finally got to the point that it was simple.This game has a pet system that allows you to obtain demons and fuse them together to create more powerful ones.As you progress through the game you will have a variety of them to capture,train and fuse.
Character customization is great and allows for players to wield any weapon or piece of clothes that they wish.As you progress through the game you get attribute points to distribute as you wish and you also can level your expertise.You can't max every expertise though so choose wisely!
This game offers so much content and the player base is decent enough so that you don't feel like you are the only one left.I suggest this to fans of the series and hope that you have fun!

Dekaron is a fast paced,gore filled,flashy,mmorpg that delivers an unforgettable experience to any gamer. Dekaron has a selection of seven classes and will release new classes as time passes. Unfortunately all the classes are gender locked so you may need to play as a female for some classes. Dekaron is centered around grinding exp off mobs and farming so if you aren't fans of those two then this isn't for you. As I made my way into town I saw plenty of players with nice flashy armor,weapons,and even wings!But of course you have none when you start.Combat was fairly fast when I began playing and as I unlocked more and more skills things got more intense.With each level you also obtain stat points to distribute as you wish.It would be recommended to look up a build or at least get an idea of what stats are important for your class of choice.

Dekaron has open PvP so don't think your time here will be easy.High level players WILL hunt you down if you piss them off or if they are already pissed off for whatever reason.So keep your wits about you!There is a penalty for killing players so if you decide to take part in it be prepared!PvP is also gear dependent and also the level of your gear and the amount of sockets they have as well as gems that you embed in them.So if you are one that likes to customize gear in order to suit your play style then you'll be fine here.

Dekaron does have it's downsides though.The cash shop may seem a bit pay to win to some players but if you have time to farm items you will be fine.A recent addition to the cash shop were +9 gear for certain levels that include a weapon.Though it isn't that much of a big deal it can provide a p2w environment if the later level set and armor are purchased.Dekaron also has instances for players to go through but most of this game will be spent solo playing except in certain in game events.
Currently there is an ongoing event that grants players a free level 65 character with a +5 set and weapons.You get more gear as you level so I suggest anyone interested in this check it out!A special npc gives you quests to level up faster!Have fun!

Forsaken World-UPDATE

Forsaken World was one of those games that seem like every other...but it isn't!From just looking at a few videos I was able to tell that Forsaken World was graphically intense as well as game play intense!To those of you gamers that claim to have a "real life"(pfft yeah right) Forsaken World is limited to how many instances,events,and of course daily quests you can do.After you have done all of those quests you have to wait until the server resets the next day so you can do them again.This might seem like a bother but it is actually very smart.Due to the amount of exp these quests and events give it would be insane to not have them limited!You are forced to do quests later on to level up and this requires you to do some instances,so be careful which ones you choose to do!Also Forsaken World has some quests that give a huge amount of experience as well as some nice items!

Now I am not going to sugar coat this and scream "OMG BEST GAME EVAH!" Forsaken World like any other mmorpg has its flaws.One of them being the boredom from levels 1-40.I had rolled a Protector and wanted to get into crafting epic armor for myself so I could tank more efficiently.It was only later that I found out that crafting became unlocked at level 30.Though the grind to level 30 wasn't slow,it was quite difficult to do due to not having the appropriate gear!Of course to make things easier you can farm shards from elite monsters and get gear that way but at the time I did not know about this!Thankfully some friends were kind enough to help me farm sapphire shards for my gear and I was ready to go from that point on!Population wise Forsaken World is filled with people!Not crowded to the point that questing is impossible but just enough so you don't feel alone.And if you are feeling emo you can switch to a more empty channel at any time!

As for races and classes Forsaken World has a nice selection of both!Even a Vampire race and class for you Team Edward peeps...no werewolves yet though!You have a total of five races to choose from and each have certain classes special to them only.Dwarves and Stoneman are stuck with one class though and Stoneman can only be male.As for Kindred,Human,and Elf, they have a total of four classes each!Racial abilities are obviously included so for you hardcore players out there be sure to choose your race and class wisely!

Forsaken World also has a pet system where certain monsters can turn into souls for you to capture!This pet system should interest certain people since they can provide the player with buffs in PvP or against instance monsters!They also get stat points per level up so you will have something to do when you are bored.Some monsters can only be caught by a character that has chosen the Tamer profession so if you want that awesome looking boss as a pet you will want to choose Tamer.The pets can also learn skills and some pets will have different attributes or have better stat growth so don't think it is as simple as catching one.You can also fuse pets together to make one stronger or have certain skills.

Equipment wise you can infuse your gear with gems provided they have an empty socket!You can obtain said gems from doing instances or completing quests.But this is where I had a problem with Forsaken World.The cash shop takes advantage of this system and sells stones,ingredients used to combine stones and items that are used to remove stones.These items can be bought of course from players or you can trade in in game gold for a certain amount of cash shop currency.The only downside is that you cannot obtain in game currency from doing quests.Quests give you "Soul" currency which is currency that is bound to your character.You can't trade or deposit with it and you cannot exchange it for "real" in game currency.So unless you learn the ropes of playing the auction house you will have trouble with this system.

The new expansion has added more areas as well as a new race the Lycan.Unfortunately the Lycan do not receive a unique class and are only limited to one class that is gender locked.Males can be assassins and females can be priests.This is a disappointment because honestly a sword wielding Lycan would make for a more interesting choice.Now the Lycan can transform into a werewolf and use skills to keep the transformation up.But aside from that there racial skill is horrible.They get an increase of 100% movement speed for 2 seconds.You know what I can do with that? Absolutely nothing.
The new "Soul Leaf" system has made things a bit less cash shop oriented.You can get these by mentoring or by doing "Life in Freedom Harbor" quests.There may be more but I have not fully explored this new system.The items you can buy with the soul leaves is limited to a few pets,mounts,and costumes but nonetheless it is helpful and I expect the developers to add more things into it such as refining items and fusion materials.

The community has not diminished and is very much alive.You can find parties and guilds for whatever you may need be it help,info,or just a casual guild.Currently they have a 2k soul leaves+title+goodies event going on.You can find more info here Event Thread

World of Bleach is a browser based mmorpg that I recently found.At first I was skeptical due to the fact that I am used to playing with games that have some form of graphics.I decided to give this a try and though it looks simple it is in fact a lot more in depth than it appears.As you first start off you are but a human with no powers and some cash to buy a basic weapon.You live a repetetive life that revolves around you going to the karate dojo and fighting against other humans or training certain stats such as strength,speed,stamina,or melee ability.As you gain levels you begin to see spirits wandering around though none interact with you.That is until you reach level 6.At this level you are given a choice.Will you be a Soul Reaper and help the wandering souls?Or will you let hate and anger consume you and turn into a Hollow that feasts upon the souls of those now gone?Whichever choice you make will be permanent and will open up a nice amount of options.I decided to go as a Hollow simply because after much training you are given the rank of Arancar...and it sounds cool also!
After advancing you are then given boosts to your stats as well as given new skills to help you out.The exp requirement increases by a lot and will take you time to get ranked up.If you are not a patient person then you will be discouraged by this.This game also has a ranking system based on the two opposing factions.

Yes.I have finally been sucked in by this legendary game.After watching gameplay trailers and the amount of people who play this I decided to give it a go.What's 15 usd a month anyways as long as I get a good experience?World of Warcraft offers a tremendous amount of diversity when it comes to races,classes,and looks of your character.Not as in depth as Aions but it was good enough to make me feel like I had made a character that would fit into the Lore.Also the graphics for WoW are a bit dated but I had read that the races were going to receive a visual revamp later on so don't get down about that.The classes are also abundant with 9 to choose from.I was aiming to make a Death Knight but alas I must have a level 55 character to do so.At first I was expecting what most free to play mmorpgs have to offer.A bunch of people who can't speak English running around doing quests until they reach cap.Well I was wrong.I started off in the area of Gilneas.I had chosen a Worgen Warrior as my starter class.During my time in the starter area I was greeted by a few friendly players and was also admitted into a guild.I decided to read the first quest since I had heard much about WoW lore and how good it was.I must say this quest may have been a simple "go talk to npc" quest but the description was better than what most free to play games offer.

During my run through the first few levels I was amazed at the splendor that the environment held.I was also amazed that my computer hadn't gone on the fritz!WoW was the only game that I could run on maximum settings without lagging in Stormwind.That was a huge plus for me and it may be for those out there with a moderate rig.As I ran through the town I had forgotten about the talent tree system.Each class has 3 different talent trees in which to allocate points and make their character even stronger.My choice was Fury because I mean come on I'm a Worgen Warrior!

A few hours into the game play and I had hit level 33.I was shaping up and going far!I had also earned my first 100 gold thanks to the crafting system in WoW.I had been invited by some guildies to do a random dungeon with them and I did.At first I expected for it to just be another tank and spank run as usual but,to my surprise,it required teamwork and coordination to do a good job and avoid any party wipes.On vent with my guildies I could hear the party leader issuing commands and on one of the groups we had to take down I was told to switch to sword and board and be ready to draw aggro from the main tank if her health got too low.I did a pretty decent job of not dying while still keeping aggro off of the other party members and also enjoyed myself since we all knew what our roles were and did a good job of fulfilling them.
I have yet to scratch the surface of WoW!I still need to look into the Dual Talent,Glyph,and 25 man raids but from what I have experienced so far World of Warcraft is worthy of it's title.Even with the Pandas.Blizzard World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria PC 72853 (Google Affiliate Ad)

Dungeon Fighter Online is exactly what it's name says.With a Final Fight like graphics and combat system you can easily get into the action and defeat hordes of baddies.The classes are broken down into 9 different basic classes and then at level 20 can advance to different sub classes.You can go here to check the classes out and see which it is that suits you best.This online game is also compatible with a game pad and I would recommend it as it makes it easier to chain together skills. This game is peer to peer unfortunately so you may have difficulty playing if you are grouped with a member that has crappy internet.It would be better if you got some close friends and went ahead to save you from the frustrating lag.Also just like most fighting games you have a few "Lives" or chances to revive in a dungeon once you die.The cash shop also sells some tokens to revive you on the spot.But even though this may seem like a way for Nexon to make a quick buck it is not.You will rarely die in a dungeon and you receive a daily amount of tokens to use.So do not fret!

This will be a short review due to the fact that this is one of the best games I have played and is also available on Xbox Live!So if you have the time and bandwidth to play then I suggest you give it a go.As usual here is the final review and also a game play video.Yes the combat is that fast.

Maestia

Maestia online is one of the better online games I have had the pleasure of playing. Though it is still far from finished it has a nice amount of content to keep users busy.Now character classes are the usual warrior,mage,cleric,and archer.Though there are no class advancements you can define your role by distributing your skill and stat points accordingly.As you start off you are introduced to a quest and then prompted to hit the "Z" button in order to pray.When you pray you receive a quest from an angel and will do so through the rest of your time playing.There are also quests from normal npcs though I did not bother to do them since the prayer quests were enough.

As you progress through the game you may sometimes run out of quests.Well no worries simply head to the nearest mob of your level and start grinding.The exp required to level is fairly low and the exp received from mobs should be enough to get you to the next prayer quests.These quests are the usual variety of fetch and kill quests.Mobs are easy to kill and reward players by dropping unidentified items.These items can be identified at a nearby Altar on the field and once done will reward them with bonus stats that will prove useful as you continue.

There is an implementation of PvP due to there being two factions in this game.The Temple Knights and the Superion Guardians.Each factions classes have different passive and buff skills that can turn the tide of battle in an instant.You face off against them in Realm vs Realm battles consisting of a set amount of players in a level range.The most common rule is to just kill as many of the opposing factions players as possible and win though there may be more updates later on as to what a faction must accomplish in order to win.I myself have not taken part in many RvR events but this will be updated later on as to how balanced it is and if it gives any rewards.*

Cash shop wise I have not seen any game breaking items.None at all.Only items that convenience players such as autoloot,exp boost,identification scrolls,and some durability scrolls.This however may change with time and this section will also change with it.*

Aion Online-UPDATE 3/18/2013

Aion online is a AAA mmorpg that recently went free to play and has a strong emphasis on PvP with some PvE content thrown into the mix. The game is separated into two areas located on separate sides of a shattered planet. One area belongs to the Asmodians which have a furry mane,claws and glowing red eyes as adaptations to their environment.The other area belongs to the Elyos that look more human and have a nicer environment due to having sunlight. After choosing your race you are now told to choose your class.The basic classes are available to you at the beginning with an advancement once you reach level 10.Each of the four classes is separated into two different advancements for each.

After selecting your class you are given a cut scene followed by waking up at the newbie island where you will remain until you reach level 10.Here you will quest and acquire skills and gear to prepare you for the outside world. During your adventure you will bump into a lot of players and even some high level players looking for guild members!But of course no mmo is complete without the usual gold spammers in town! Aside from that the gameplay is fairly straight forward with your typical quests from most mmorpgs.Combat is fluent and is,at the later levels, fast paced!

Now after leaving the beginner area you reach your races capital city. Here you can go on and continue doing quests.One of the quests involves doing some crafting for exp and sometimes a recipe. As far as crafting goes, you can make a nice living off of your crafted goods so long as you are willing to take the time and collect the ingredients from the field and monsters.Be warned though!You may be tempted to buy ingredients from the Auction House.This would help you but you probably won't sell off any of the beginner gear so save your money and just farm the ingredients!Crafting becomes more complex later on but the items you reap are useful and will help you become a better player.

Once you hit level 25 you will be introduced into the Abyss.The Abyss is an area in the center of the world that is focused on PvP.On this map you have multiple fortresses and relics that are always being fought over.Fortresses have a certain time that they are vulnerable to attack but the relics can be attacked at any time.Fortresses give you access to quests and an instance that rewards you with artifacts that you can trade in for Abyss Points.Relics give your faction buffs while trying to take over a fortress so they are very important during a siege!Abyss points can be traded in for Gold Name Abyss Gear which is extremely useful in PvP.You can also farm abyss points from mobs and killing players in the abyss.Be warned though these epic gears are expensive and will take you a long time to get!

The population is nice depending on the server you choose.Some servers have a large population while others have only a few.Also some servers are dominated by one race so be careful when choosing!Other than that Aion is a mmorpg for the PvP fanatic in you!
With the announcement of Aion 4.0 three new classes have been announced and two already have concept arts as well as intro videos!The classes that have been announced are Gunslinger,and Bard with Mechrider still being kept as a secret.Here are some concept art and screenshots for you to drool over. ;D

UPDATE: Aion has released the Songweaver and Gunslinger classes and this is my take on them. The songweaver is basically a chanter+sorc but with tuned down damage. It is quite a pain to kill because of the fact that it can heal itself as it runs as well as kite you so melee based classes will have a tough time taking them down. The gunslinger on the other hand is basically a sorcerer but with faster skills,kiting ability,as well as uber damage! Now most of the population believes that the classes are over powered but when you look at it from a point of view that this game is based off of teamwork and group
PvP not just 1v1! In group scenarios both of them can be taken down!
You can't just faceroll against them they both have strategies and you
should be geared in order to take em out! In 4.5 the mechrider class
will be released and the gunslinger is either going to be stronger or weaker...
based on rumors circling around the forums! Stay tuned for a new update later on!

Vindictus

Vindictus is a action hack and slash mmorpg that focuses on instance based dungeon runs to complete quests,obtain gear,and gain skill experience. The towns are also instanced with different channels that you are randomly dropped into but can switch to another at any time. Vindictus is fast paced and ,accompanied with a pc compatible game pad, can provide you with a nice adrenaline rush now and again. Coupled with skills that can be used in any combo and a dodge ability and you have yourself a nice game that delivers on its action orientation. With four released classes and another class coming soon you have a nice roster to choose from until you find the perfect play style. Unfortunately these classes are gender locked but don't let that stop you! The classes currently released are Lann,Evie,Karok,and Fiona.

Party play is necessary if you plan on getting the best gear or for leveling fast!The problem with this is that you may encounter latency issues due to the peer to peer connection system it has.If you or another member has a crappy connection the whole party suffers.It is rare to encounter this though so you will be safe until you run into someone using a proxy to play the game.You can also choose to solo this game but unless you are extremely good at your class you will have a difficult time and may end up taking longer on a dungeon run than if you were in a team.Best solution is to get some buddies that live nearby or at least on the same continent to join you.

Customization wise you have a fair selection of hair styles,hair color,eye color,size, and skin color.To make you stand out even more you can dye your gear different colors! Unfortunately a large selection of the customization options are cash shop based and will cost you some cash to get.But hey everything can't be perfect!Aside from this you can get through all of the game just by running dungeons and crafting your own gear. Gear also has stats to help you specialize in a certain role,and depending on the armor type, can give you added dex for critical hits but lack defense,defense and hp but lack dex, etc. This system allows players to explore and see which armor set is best for them.Titles are also another way to make you stand out and even give you stat boosts.

PvP is also implemented into Vindictus and is balanced no matter how much you die it is never the class that makes you a good player. PvP has tactics here and involves thinking and playing wisely in order to overcome your opponent.Their is no such thing as a "OP" class so don't go picking a class based on PvP.Pick a class you like stick to it and get better!Other than that PvP is fun and if you don't like to think don't get into this at all!

MapleStory

MapleStory is one of the most popular and well known
online games!This is not an exaggeration I have encountered a huge population in MapleStory whether it is peak time or not!Now to get straight to the review this game has beautiful controls that make it seem like you are playing an arcade game, even more with a pc compatible game pad. Now as you start off the game you will be given a choice of which faction to join.Some of these factions have classes unique to them.The factions are Hero,Explorer,Resistance,Cygnus Knights. Depending on which faction you choose you will be able to travel freely to any place on the map.

Now game play wise you will be surprised at how responsive commands are.At first you will be limited to a few attacks but as you progress you will have access to multiple skills that are not only nice eye candy but also have fast cooldowns so you can chain together multiple skills for a devastating attack!I played as a Slayer and must say it is one of the most interesting and fast paced classes I have played as second to the Stalker!During my play from level 1 to level 148 I never once got tired or bored of playing!You will not have many quests to do and some just don't do any and grind away to high levels so having a nice fast gameplay accompanied with some awesome music will get you pumped and into this game until you are bleeding from your eyes!

As far as population goes you probably won't find one as good as the one on MapleStory.Henesys Town is still a social hub for those interested in doing nothing but showing off the new cash shop costume!And everyone usually responds to your questions or talks to you randomly which really helps it feel as if it were an ONLINE game.No matter what channel you are on or what server it is guaranteed that you will encounter players wherever you go!Even in your own homes kidnapping your children!

The cash shop is one of the most balanced cash shops I have seen!The only item that may be considered "Game Breaking" is the gachapon tickets,which randomly give you a GM Scroll that upgrades weapons nicely.But it is rare and those that do buy tickets usually end up selling them off.Other than that item everything else is merely for convenience or for lazy people who believe the "Z" key is too far for them to loot items.Beware though!You will want those costumes to look cool!

A few new classes have been released and this update is LONG overdue.I apologize but as I am but one person it is a daunting task to update and play all the games to make sure the reviews stay true!The first new class I would like to mention is Hayato.He is a katana wielding samurai class.I have not had the liberty of playing as a samurai but from what I have seen it is accompanied by both flashy and fast paced skills that would make any samurai lover feel proud to play as such a character!You can play a female or male version of Hayato but as far as the story is concerned Hayato is a male.

The next class on the roster is Kanna!She uses a fan and magician equipment.You can play as a male or female Kanna though in the story Kanna is a female!For those that love magic and fans this should be a class you check out if you haven't already!I know I will whenever my internet decides to stop derping!
