It was suppose to be a group dates with our BFF's and i don't know what hit there heads and decide not to go. Any way. After deciding on what shelves to buy, we end up buying clothes at St. Francis and some earrings from F21 which i posted here.

And for you information this is the first time i ate at TGI Fridays. So let me tell you my yummy experience. We order Jack Daniels Baby Back Ribs with Fries and Shrimp. I was expecting a different taste but i got disappointed after tasting it, the first thing that hits my mind is BIGBY's and Burgoo's. I love the other two's rib flavor than this one, but their shrimp taste better than the two.

This platter cost Php. 935.00 which really cost a fortune and Bigby's ribs is much better that this. That's why instead of us ordering other dishes, we just decided to stay long and have a chit chat. But at least we've tasted and wil not gonna go back here again and waiters their are not friendly.

This is just my opinion based on my experience. But this store has allot of customer and i bet allot of people really love their food and maybe the taste of their food is not really my type. That's all ...

The Original AA BBQ is located in San Roque Cebu City, but they have allot of branches for you to choose from depending on your location.

This BBQ store was introduce to me by Gen, one of m beauty blogger friend who first went to Cebu to celebrate the Sinulog festival.

Though BBQ is not new to me, but i wanna try this since they said it has a different type of serving. It is like a self service food house. You can grab as many as raw BBQ and place it on your plate, then you will give it to the attendant for them to grilled it.

They have allot of BBQ that you can choose from, from dried , marinated food or fresh fish. It's kinda like sutukil as well.

And here are the cooked food that we ordered. Like the Spicy Grilled Giant Squid.

This is the Grilled Dried Squid

seaweed salad.

And Liempo

I didn't took the picture of the pork BBQ and Sinigang na Tanigue anymore since it came late and we are too busy eating & i know most of you guys already know how does it look like. Their prices range from 15 to 80 pesos which is not bad right.

So for those who are thinking on going to Cebu and looking for a very affordable food to eat. Better try AA BBQ.

The Original AA BBQ
M.J. Good Burger is the name of a Burger store who serve chicken and vegetable patties only. It is a small store along C5 Pasig Area. Good Burger was first introduce to me by our team leader, we walk for 5mins and cross the bridge just to buy a Burger. ( Lakas Tama lng) At first, i was thinking that it is not worth to walk for 5 mins just to buy a burger, but i was wrong. Their burger is ooolalala!!!

This picture above is what they called Persian Burger this only cost me Php.80.00

And this burger is what they called Bacon Mozza Melt for Php100.00 . The strip that you see on the side is there Vegetables strips, that cost 35php/small bag . Hihihi, so cheap right. There allot of travels who really stop to their shop just to buy their amazing burger. Their price is depending on their sauce flavor and burger size, whether you want a GOOD, BETTER or BEST ( Double Pattie). So if you haven't tried this yet, just drop by to these location or even order over the phone.
I hope you have a blast last new years eve. Me and my partner just stayed home and spend the whole New Year together. And for this new year to be more memorable, i made a special dish for he. I made 2 pasta, one is the same old same old red sauce pasta and the other one is Garlic Pasta with Chicken Diane. How i did it?... here we go.

For Pasta:

With a cooked pasta, i put olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

For Chicken:

I marinate this Chicken breast with salt, pepper, thyme and placed it on a foil for 2 hrs and friend it on a medium heat pan with butte and oil. Some say cooked it 4minutes on each side, but for me i like a well cooked chicken.

For Diane Sauce:

3 tbsp of chopped parsley

2 tbsp of mustard

2 tbsp cup of lime or lemon

1/4 cup of chicken broth

2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup of thicken cream (optional )

brandy ( optional)

Direction:

On a medium heat pan, add all the ingredients and stir it for 15 seconds.

Serve the pasta, chicken and place the Diane sauce on the top of your chicken and you are done.

So there you go guys, hope you really like it. And have a grateful New Year to all!!!

It was a not so special Tuesday for us because we only have 1 day off and we make sure that we will consume our 1 days off to have fun and relax. After buying some gift for our x'mas exchange gift, we ate at Yakimix and go to Platinum KTV bar in metrowalk, and thanks to JR tonie's hubby for treating us for videoke.

Yakimix is a EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN Korean, Japanese and Cantonese buffet, a sushi, smokeless grill restaurant. I love sushi and thanks to my dad who introduce me to sushi and Japanese food. And to my mom who introduce me to Chinese food because without those experience, i will not appreciate this food.

When we first arrive here, it was 6:00pm and there's no large crowd that time. Good thing we arrived at the right time to avoid long queue's and to avoid reservations. As you can see i really tried all of the different types of sushi and it really value my money. And good thing it took us 30 mins to get another plate while waiting for tonie, at least we didn't get full easily.

When i saw their smokeless grill, i remember my dad's shabu-shabu grill at home that we used to use every Sunday, cooking while eating. Love it. What i like about yakimix serving is that, they're always attentive, once your plate is empty, they will get it right away so that you can use another clean plate for your next batch of food. They always replace those empty buffet place to a new one, so that people don't have to wait to long to get their favorite dishes.

Yakimix non-cooked food are not all seafood's. They also serve pork, chicken and beef. The only thing that i didn't get is their prawn, there's none kasi that time, don't know why.

They also serve, salads and deserts. Soup and you can choose or create you own sauce for the grilled food and remember not to eat allot of rice if you want to to taste all of it. And it is better to have a long chit chat while eating when you are eating at eat-all-you-can restaurants.

And of course, i also taste their cooked food as well. Please don't compare this one to DAD's, bec. dad's really has allot of food to choose from and their price is also sulit with the food that they serve. So for those people who's thinking of tasting yakimix. Here's the details below.

At longt last, Happy Lemon is at SM Megamall. NO need for me to go to Greenhills just to try it. And yes, i can already say two thumbs up for their milk tea.

Before, i see bloggers posting something about Happy lemon drinks, twitting on how good their drinks are. And i am one of them now, who can prove that their tea is really really good.

Happy lemon at SM Megamall today is just their dry run, their shop is not yet fully fix. We were suppose to go to Starbucks today buy i decide to go here instead just to taste it before going home.

I ordered Cocoa Milk tea with brown sugar for 95.00php, at first i was thinking of ordering their lemon drink ( sorry i forgot the name ) but i said to my self to try the milk tea first before trying something else.

And for those people who are just near SM Megamall, try this one out it is really good. Their prices range from 95 to 100++ i think. Sorry if i cannot provide the complete price and drink flavor details since i was on a hurry to go home.

But if you really wanna try this one out. You can go to any Happy lemon store near you place. I think they have one in Eastwood and Greenhills.

Sorry for that, i just need to copy the meaning in wiki.

Last weekends we got this yummy pili tart from Jacq and this one was made by her friend as well. Pli tart is one of the famous pasalubong / delicacies here in the Philippines and there's allot of sweets that can be made with Pili nuts.

What i like about Jannah's pili tart, it has a thin crust and its is so crunchy and it is not hard to eat. The tart has full of creamy, sweet filling inside and the Pili nuts really blends well with its cream.

I really recommend their tart, and you can also give this on these coming holiday season. This only cost us 250php for the whole pack and the whole has 50pcs of Pili tart. I might buy again and probably give it this as a gift for Christmas. So how about you guys, what is your favorite Filipino sweets?

I know most of you already tried Gongcha tea and i know most of you are going gaga with this, that's why i tried it myself to see why most of you really loves Gongcha tea.

I really don't know where Gongcha's store is located, good things there's one in SM Megamall Altrium. While da is busy looking at the big Christmas design of SM Megamall, i sneak and decide to grab the opportunity to taste Gongcha's tea.

There's allot of tea flavor to choose for and it took me like 5mins to decide what to buy, because i wanna make sure that the drink that i'll be choosing will not waste my money.

While checking on their tea, coffee and milk, i just notice that they have allot of varieties: House Special, Milk Tea, Brewed Tea, Ice Cream Special, Creative Mix, Coffee Special and Pearl Ice. They also provide extra's on their tea, you can add, coffee jelly, beans, ice cream, pearl etc.

I was suppose to add extra's on my tea but i change my mind because i want to taste their tea first before adding extra's on it. What i like about Goncha is that there service is fast and the packaging is nice and its a tea that fit for royalty when i tasted it.

Gongcha is also located in different parts of Asia, Hongkong, Singapore, Taipei, Macau etc. and here in the Philippines they only have it in Manila, mostly in the Malls.

And here is the Matcha Milk tea that i order. What i like about gongcha, they will explain to you whether you want their strong tea or not. And before you pay they will also ask the sugar level of your tea, i choose 50% and 50% for me is still sweet. And my over all rating for Gongcha is 4/5.

Mang Inasal is one of the affordable local restaurant that i've been too. There store ambiance is so Pinoy and they even have Sorbetes in their store. As you can see their rice is wrapped with Banana leaf to make it look like so Pinoy and for it to smell good when they serve it. Their chicken i well grilled and i like their chicken, because on how they marinate it, it is so Pinoy.

They also serve the traditional condiments that we use to dip the chicken before we eat it. But swear to God i haven't taste the chicken sauce, the one in the middle, it is so oily and i can see a whapping cholesterol on it. ( Mahal ko pa buhay ko Lord!!! Matakaw lng ako.) So, for those people who havent taste Mang Inasal chicken yet, just look around your place, swear you will see one.

Like what i have told you guys, i love drinking milk tea this year, maybe because its in demand? Hihihi... Bubbatealicious is one of the my favorite and i never fail to buy their tea every time i visit SM Megamall .

I started tasting their tea due to curiosity. I was wondering before why this small booth has allot of customer. People don't mind about the long line and i thought that people just keeps on buying tea from them just to taste it due to their curiosity as well, but i was wrong. Tasting their tea really makes me come back over and over again. Most of the times they close their store as early as 8pm because their items are no longer available. Most people are buying 5 or more tea before leaving the store and that's makes the long a queue. But it think they will be transferring their store to have a big space.

Here is their super affordable price. They serve both milk and fruit tea for everyone. And all items are pearl included, you do have to pay for the pearl anymore. Their flavors might few but i assure you that it really taste good. They are using tea, honey and flavoring that comes with 3 sizes small, medium and large, all well sealed when they serve it to you. And here's is my favorite flavor.

I love their choco milk tea, it really taste good and it is not too sweet. Even-though it has a choco flavor on it you can still taste the tea on it and that's what i like with their product.

For those people who haven't tried it yet, you can check their stall at Building A SM Megamall first floor besides levi's store.

So there you go guys, i just how you like it. Have a happy Halloween guys.

Hello pips! Sorry for being so lazy posting again. Been busy with my work and been lazy taking pictures. But i already have a list of things to post for me to share it to you. But for the mean time let me just share to you my experience with Chatime while chillin.

Based on my knowledge CHA was derived in a word CHA (eat in chinese) and they attached it with the word TIME, chatime ( eating time? ) or CHATIME ( chaa in tagalog--(tea) time ) hihihi... i don't know. But for me that's the meaning when i first saw this store.

I just noticed that there's allot of tea store who offer the same tea flavor, but on this on, they offer allot of flavors. Not only milk tea but they also offer fruit juice. Here is a small peek of their menu.

Their menu is written in both English and Chinese. There prices are almost the same of the other tea house in SM megamall, separate fee if you wanna add pearls or different toppings.

I love looking at this thing. I don't know what they call this. But it will light up once your order is done and ready to serve.

But in fairness with their service, they are fast. though there space is small and they only have 2 tables i think on their waiting area. But it is ok still, since people keeps on visiting their store just to buy a tea.

And before i forgot they also serve hot tea and coffee for those sleepy heads. And here is the milk tea that i order.

I order the chatime roasted milk tea and it taste ok for me. I ask my daughter to taste it but she don't like it. This one cost me 85php for the tea and 25php for the pearl. Amazing right?

For those milk tea lover if you wanna try this, try to visit there store in Robinson's Galleria ground floor besides Rob's super market.

Sorry for being so MIA, just busy with beauty blogging and training. But i promise to post more and more food review, recipe and food hunt this month.

Before posting this review we already tried to eat here twice to see if the service and food has a difference on our 1st and & 2nd visit. Me and my partner loves inihaw (grilled food) that's everytime our stomach ask for food we always ended up eating on a grilled restaurant and one of our mission is to taste all restaurant that serve grilled foods. And one of our list is the Bar-B-king.

We ate at Bar-b-king SM Megamall branch at the ground floor area. Will checking there menus outside the store, the crew approaches us right away with a friendly smile and ask if he can assist us. Well that's nice and it was on a weekdays that time that's why the place is not that too crowded and it's not yet lunch time. So checking on their price, so glad to see that it's wallet friendly. So here's the food we've tried on there menu.

The pictures that you will see was taken on our 2nd visit.

Here's there Ensalada ( green mango, tomato, onion and fish paste ) and this is for Php.39.00 . The good thing about the mango that they serve is that its not too sour and they use white onion and it's not too smelly on your mouth.

I know this is too much but we are not aware that we both order an extra rice, because there allot of customer on this day and i ask my partner to look for a sit while i am ordering. And after order while waiting for the food, she grave for Ensalada and she wasn't aware that i order 1 extra rice for both of us that's why it was doubled. Sayang di naman naubos ( we didn't eat the other extra rice ) .

And this is my partners favorite and i she is not fond of eating seafood, but with there BAR-B Shrimp she really crave for more. For this meal this will cost you Php.135 and its already a value meal, java rice, side dish and drinks.

This is there famous LIEMPO KING and this one is affordable too, it is only Php105 value meal and the liempo is big and this is for 2 person already. And will gonna go back here again with some friends with me. For my friends abroad i will post more food trip, review and recipe for you and that is a promise.

If you are thinking if this is their only dish? you are wrong, they also serve soups and veggies and they even have desserts too. And for those who love unlimited rice you can have it by availing there RICE all you can value meal.

If you wanna check this out, you can go to mega mall and on there facebook page for more details.

Manang's Chicken was first introduce to me by Che my friend in Meracato ( food market) at The Fort Taguig City. At first i thought that ti was just an ordinary crispy chicken, but i was wrong when i tasted it and that's why me and my partner search for the nearest store of Manang's right away, because we are craving for more. So we search the internet and look for there website or Facebook page and we found out that they have a nearest store in our place. So we visit there branch in AIC tower near Robinsons Galleria. Good thing it's Saturday morning and no long queue. So let me tell you why Manang's Chicken is the our mouth watering food for this month.

As you can see, i took a picture of there banner on how they cook there famous chicken. They make sure that there chicken is fresh and well certified by National Meat Inspection. They double fry there chicken and remove excess oil which is a plus for me. They also use high-grade cholesterol free oil, which is good and they serve there famous sauce which make there chicken more delicious and of course recipe is a secret.

This is where they put there chicken on a meal Styrofoam which i think is more convenient for them not to wash plate and a easy to go process in any case customer just want to take it out with out finishing the food.

This is how there chicken look like, so crispy and so saucy. You can choose different part of the chicken with rice or just chicken alone. There sauce is so tasty and you can choose whether you want the original, semi-spicy or super spicy and they will serve there chicken with a sesame seeds on it. So for those people who haven't tried this one, better taste it now, so you will knew what i am talking about. You can also check there Facebookpage : https://www.facebook.com/manangschicken . That's all guys. Hope you like it.

They said that the chicken is good that's why we tried it. It was a rainy Saturday last week when we eat here. While waiting for Gen to arrived at Port 88 bazaar, me and my partner decide to stop by and try the Bon Chon Chicken.

We ate at Bon Chon robinson's Galleria branch besides mexicalli. The nice thing about their store is that the service is fast, more seat for everyone, the store design is nice. Service crews are friendly too.

Bon Chon chicken is good, though we only tasted one flavor, but i'm sure other flavors are good too. Their chicken is coated with caramelize sweet and it's definitely crunchy for me. Yummy. So for those who wants to try this out, just go to Robinsons Galleria.

Pichi pichi is one of Filipinos delicacies here in manila. This is compose of grated cassava, sugar and lye water. Pichi pichi texture is really soft, sticky and gelatinous. They just mix the ingredients and steam it. Most pichi pichi are coated with grated coconut and some times they add flavors on it, like pandan, pinipig etc. But now some one invented pichi pichi coated with cheese, i don't now who, but i like it.

Good thing my friend che brought us a special pichi - pichi made by Arny and Dadings store and they name Pichi - pichi as peachey - peachey a possible name of there mom or their daughter.

Arny and dadings also offers not only cheese coated pichi pichi but the orginal grated coconut too. As you can see they also have verities of flavors like pinipig and langka. I can't get over with this pichi - pichi , though its not the first time i tasted it, but the way they cooked it. Its very good.

The thing that i love about there pichi - pichi is the overloaded cheese. Yummy. I think this one is 16pcs, i can't remember how many pieces on one order but looking at this picture, it looks like 16 pcs.

Look at this soft gelatinous big cut pichy pichy. Can't wait to grab another one. Pichi pichi here in the Philippines is a desert can be serve for afternoon snack, occasions and you can give it as a gift too.
Some uses achuete (Bixa orellana) to put some color on this dish. But i rarely use achuete because it cannot give good taste on your food. Actually no one taught me to do this, i just remember how it taste and how it look like and cooking it for the first time bothers me a bit.

Serve: 2-3 person
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20mins

What you need:

1/2 ground meat ( pork or beef)

Medium Potato cut into cubes

Half cup of Green Peas ( frozen)

Medium Red Bell pepper cut into small squares

Medium onion and garlic chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

200ml of tomato sauce

1/2 cup of water

Directions:

In a preheated pan, add oil and saute potato for 2min then set aside

Add and saute ground meat, sprinkle with salt and pepper until golden brown

Set aside meat on the side of the pan and saute garlic and onion for 1 min, then saute ground meat again together with the garlic and onion.

Junior master chef Philippines will start on August 27, 2011 at ABS-CBN network. I am a fan of Master Chef Australia and US, and i can't wait to watch how these Filipino Kids show there stuffs in cooking. I am a super frustrated cook as in professional cook and i'm kinda jealous with these kids. On there young age, they can figure out what's a good food and not. Now i am very eager to cook again, no fried dishes tomorrow, will cook a perfect dishes for my Family. Here the trailer of Junior Master Chef Philippines and this one is hosted by Judy Ann Santos a chef and an actress here in the Philippines.
Smoked fish and dried fish or tinapa and daing, there are the typical food for breakfast here in the Philippines. Smoke and dried fish has various of fish type. For smoke fish it has; galunggong ( mackarel scad ), bangus ( milk fish), Salinas & etc. For dried fish, it has allot and it's hard to tell. You can buy smoke and dried fish on local market, they sell it in packs or per gram. Let me show you our yummy break fast yesterday.

That's the smoked and dried fish we ate yesterday. I took this picture while eating. Hehehe and for you to enjoy your meal, you should match it with this...

Chopped tomato with salt. Sawsawan or dip can be matched depending of the type of fish you are eating. Dips that we use for smoked and fried fish are; bagoong isda with vinegar ( shrimp paste with vinegar ), toyomansi or soysauce with calamansi and atchara a filipino condiment. This dishes is good with hot fried garlic rice. :D I know most of us miss this especially those Filipino abroad. For those people who haven't tried this, ask your Filipino friends to bring you pasalubong like this before they come back from the Philippines so that you can try it. But better to have dried fish on the plane because it can't be spoiled easily. That's all guy. Have a yummy breakfast.

Saute vegetables can be mix with pork, beef, chicken and fish. The reason why i write this because it reminds me something on Ramadan, though i'm not a Muslim and it's a Ramadan month, it's just reminds me my old house mate anwar. He is a pure Muslim and pork is a big NO NO on there religion, that's why we always cook vegetables, fish and beef. And the plain saute vegetables is one of our favorite, at least all of us can eat, share and match it with fried fish. Since we are no longer living on their apartment and we already have our own, we can now cook saute vegetable mix it with pork. You can choose Pechay ( chinese cabbage), Repolyo (Cabbage) Sayote ( Chayote )and mix it with ground pork, beef or small cut of pork or you can even use red sardines, and this is so Pinoy.

What you need: Cabbage chopped 2inch size, 1/4 pork, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and broth cube.

Directions: Medium pan, add oil, garlic and onion saute, then add pork until golden brown, then add cabbage, and saute until it's medium cook, add pepper and broth cube. Add half cup of water and this is optional.

This food is always on my list weekly, because it's easy and budget friendly.
