حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ، الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَرْفُثْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَجْهَلْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ قَاتَلَهُ أَوْ شَاتَمَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيَقُلْ، ‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ مَرَّتَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَتْرُكُ طَعَامَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَرَابَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشَهْوَتَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِي الصِّيَامُ لِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا.

ترجمہ :

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ،

کہ روزہ جہنم سے بچنے کے لیے ایک ڈھال ہے،

تو (روزہ دار) نہ فحش باتیں کرے اور نہ جہالت کرے،

اور اگر کوئی شخص اس سے لڑے یا اسے گالی دے،

تو اس کا جواب صرف یہ ہونا چاہیے کہ میں روزہ دار ہوں، (یہ الفاظ) دو مرتبہ (کہہ دے)،

(رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا)

اس ذات کی قسم ! جس کے قبضے میں میری جان ہے،

روزہ دار کے منہ کی بو اللہ کے نزدیک کستوری کی خوشبو سے بھی زیادہ پسندیدہ اور پاکیزہ ہے،

(اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے) بندہ اپنا کھانا پینا اور اپنی شہوت میرے لیے چھوڑ دیتا ہے،

(تو) روزہ میرے لیے ہے اور میں ہی اس کا بدلہ دوں گا،

اور (روزے کے علاوہ دوسری) نیکیوں کا ثواب بھی (رمضان میں) دس گنا ہوتا ہے.

Hazrate Abu-Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ se riwayat hai ki Rasoole Akram ﷺ ne farmaya,
Ki Roza Jahannam se bachne ka dhaal hai
To Roza-dar na behayai ki bat kare na jahalat kare,
Aur koi shakhs us se lade ya use gaali de,
To us (Roze-dar) ka jawab yeh hona chahiye ki,
Main Roza-dar hu, 2 martaba (yeh keh de)
(Rasoole Akram ﷺ ne farmaya)
Qasam us Zaat ki Jis ke Qabze me meri jaan hai,
Roze-dar ke muh ki bu (smell) Allah ke Nazdeek kasturi ki Khushbu se zada achhi aur pakeeza hai,
(Allah عزوجل farmata hai ki)
Banda apna khana peena aur apni Shahwat (desires) mere liye chhod deta hai
(to) Roza mere liye hai aur Main hi us ka badla duga,
Aur (Roze ke ilawa dusri) Nekiyo ka Sawab bhi (Ramadan me) Dus (10) guna zada ho jata hai.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ الْأُبُلِّيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، ثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ ،سَمِعْتَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، يَقُولُ، سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُولُ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ "وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ" قَالَ، جَاءَ قَيْسُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ، إِنِّي وَأَدَتُ ثَمَانِيَ بَنَاتٍ لِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، قَالَ، أَعْتِقْ عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهَا رَقَبَةً، قُلْتُ، إِنِّي صَاحِبُ إِبِلٍ، قَالَ، اهْدِ إِنْ شِئْتَ عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ بَدَنَةً.

ترجمہ :

حضرت عمر فاروق اعظم رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ،

ایک مرتبہ قیس بن عاصم (رضی اللہ عنہ) رسول اکرم ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوئے،

اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ !

میں نے زمانۂ جاہلیت میں (اسلام سے پہلے) آٹھ بیٹیوں کو زندہ دفن کیا ہے،

(کیا میرا گناہ معاف ہوجائے گا)

رسول اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا،

ہر زندہ دفن کی گئی بیٹی کے بدلے ایک غلام آزاد کرو،

حضرت قیس بن عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا،

کہ میرے پاس اونٹ بہت ہیں،

تو رسول اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا،

ہر بیٹی کے بدلے ایک جانور صدقہ کرو.

(حضرت قیس بن عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ کا یہ عمل اسلام قبول کرنے بلکہ نبی ﷺ کی بعثت سے پہلے کا ہے،

اسلام کی دولت سے مالا مال ہونے کے بعد انہیں اپنے اس فعل پر شرمندگی، اور فکر ہوئی،

تو انہوں رسول اکرم ﷺ اس کا ذکر،

رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا،

کہ تمہارے تمام گناہ معاف تو اسلام قبول کرتے ہی معاف ہوگئے البتہ جانور بطور فدیہ صدقہ کرو،

حضرت قیس بن عاصم صحابئ رسول ﷺ ہیں، ان کا یہ فعل شرف صحابیت سے پہلے کا ہے،

شرف صحابیت کے بعد آپکی تعظیم وتوقیر اور آپ سے محبت واجب ہے،

اس لئے کوئی اس فعل کی وجہ سے آپ کے متعلق بدگمانی اور بیجا خیال ہرگز نہ کرے).

(Kya Mera gunah maaf hojaega)
Rasoole Akram ﷺ ne farmaya,
Har zinda dafn ki gai beti ke badle eak gulam Aazad Karo,
Hazrat Qais bin Aasim رضی اللہ عنہ ne arz Kiya,
Ki mere Paas oont(camel) bahot hain,
To Rasoole Akram ﷺ ne farmaya,
Har beti ke badle eak jaanwar sadqa karo.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الرَّمْلِيُّ، عَنْ مَسَرَّةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ مِنْ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَرَامِ مِنْ لَخْمٍ ، عَنِ الْوَضِينِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا كُنَّا أَهْلَ جَاهِلِيَّةٍ وَعِبَادَةِ أَوْثَانٍ، فَكُنَّا نَقْتُلُ الْأَوْلَادَ، وَكَانَتْ عِنْدِي بِنْتٌ لِي فَلَمَّا أَجَابَتْ، وَكَانَتْ مَسْرُورَةً بِدُعَائِي إِذَا دَعَوْتُهَا، فَدَعَوْتُهَا يَوْمًا، فَاتَّبَعَتْنِي فَمَرَرْتُ حَتَّى أَتَيْتُ بِئْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ، فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهَا فَرَدَّيْتُ بِهَا فِي الْبِئْرِ، وَكَانَ آخِرَ عَهْدِي بِهَا أَنْ تَقُولَ، يَا أَبَتَاهُ يَا أَبَتَاهُ فَبَكَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى وَكَفَ دَمْعُ عَيْنَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُلَسَاءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَحْزَنْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ، كُفَّ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْأَلُ عَمَّا أَهَمَّهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ، أَعِدْ عَلَيَّ حَدِيثَكَ فَأَعَادَهُ، فَبَكَى حَتَّى وَكَفَ الدَّمْعُ مِنْ عَيْنَيْهِ عَلَى لِحْيَتِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ ،إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ وَضَعَ عَنِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مَا عَمِلُوا، فَاسْتَأْنِفْ عَمَلَكَ.

ترجمہ :

حضرت وضین رضی الله عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ،

رسول اکرم ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں ایک شخص آیا،

اور کہنے لگا اے اللہ کے رسول ﷺ جاہلیت میں (اسلام سے پہلے)

ہم بتوں کی پوجا کرتے تھے،

اور اولاد (بچیوں) کو اپنے ہاتھوں سے قتل کرتے تھے،

(میری اپنی یہ کہانی ہے کہ) میری ایک بیٹی تھی،

جب میں اس کو بُلاتا تو دوڑ کر میرے پاس آتی،

ایک دن وہ میرے بلانے پر خوش خوش دوڑی آئی،

میں آگے بڑھا اور وہ میرے پیچھے چلی آئی،

میں آگے بڑھتا چلا گیا، جب میں ایک کنویں کے پاس پہنچا

جو میرے گھر سے زیادہ دور نہ تھا،

اور بچی اس کے قریب پہنچی تو میں نے اس کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر کنوئیں میں ڈال دیا،

وہ مجھے ابا ابا کہہ کر پکارتی رہی،

اور یہی اس کی زندگی کی آخری پکار تھی،

رسول اللہ اس درد بھرے افسانے کو سن کر آنسو ضبط نہ کر سکے،

ایک صحابی نے اس شخص کو ملامت کی،

کہ تم نے رسول اللہﷺ کو غمگین کر دیا،

تو رسول اللہﷺنے فرمایا،

اس کو چھوڑ دو کہ جو مصیبت اس پر پڑی ہے وہ اس کا علاج پوچھنے آیا ہے،

پھر اُس شخص سے فرمایا اپنا قصہ پھر سناؤ،

اس نے دوبارہ پھر بیان کیا،

تو رسول اکرم ﷺ کی یہ حالت ہوئی کہ روتے روتے داڑھی مبارک تر ہو گئی،

پھر رحمت عالم ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا،

جاؤ کہ جاہلیت کے گناہ اسلام کے بعد معاف ہو گئے،

اب نئے سرے سے اپنا عمل شروع کرو۔

apna qissa Phir se sunao,
Usne dubara Phir bayan Kiya,
to Rasool Akram ﷺ ki yeh haalat hui,
ki rote rote darhi Mubarak bheeg gai,
Phir Rehmate Aalam ﷺ ne us Shakhs se farmaya,
Jao ki jahiliyat ke gunah Islaam ke baad maaf ho gaye,
Ab nae sire se apna Amal shuru karo.

4 Tips for Getting Your First Job Out of College

In some fields, getting started is the hardest step in building a career.

Graduating college students should start working on landing their first jobs well before graduation. The summers between sophomore and junior years offer great opportunities for internships or jobs in the field where you hope to work. If you did not do that, or those efforts did not result in an actual job offer, hope isn't lost. It's still possible to get your first job, even one in the field you studied; it's just going to take a little more effort.
Landing that elusive first real job can vary in difficulty by profession. In some fields -- engineers and certain technical areas come to mind -- recruiters will come to you. For many professions, however, the weight of getting hired falls squarely on the graduate's shoulders. That's a daunting task, but it's one you can accomplish if you dedicate yourself to getting it done.

1. Getting a job is a job

While it's tempting to take the summer off after graduating, working will give you a leg up on other graduates who are willing to goof off for a few months. Once you get out of school, getting a job needs to become your job. It's not necessarily a 9-5, 40-hour-a-week gig, but it's a task you should devote time to everyday.

In the old days, that meant pounding the pavement -- literally knocking on doors handing out resumes. The digital age has changed that, but each day, you'll need to do a few things.

Search for job-related keywords on Indeed.com and other major job sites.

Visit industry-specific websites to look for for job postings.
Make at least one unsolicited contact in your chosen field asking for an informational interview.

These are not the only things you can do, but it's a start. The important thing for you to remember is that, no matter how many emails go unanswered or applications get ignored, it's important to keep plugging away.

2. Have your materials in order

Very few colleges actually teach their students what a resume should look like, and it varies by profession, but it's important to have yours in good shape. In many cases, it may be worth hiring a professional. At the very least, you should find a good template online that's specific to your proposed line of work -- and have more than one person proofread it for you. You'll also want to avoid standard, embarrassing blunders that may cause a hiring manager to throw your resume away without giving it much attention.
It's also very important that you tailor your resume and cover letter to the actual job being advertised. That's especially important when starting out because your limited work history won't answer the question as to why the company should take a chance on you. It's up to you to do that in your resume and cover letter, which should address the requirements mentioned in the job posting while politely detailing relevant skills that may not be obvious.

3. Don't act like a kid

Once you graduate from college, it's important to stop thinking and acting like a college student. Chances are that most people hiring for jobs won't be as impressed by your fraternity or sorority affiliation as you might think, nor will they find your KegMaster@gmail.com address as funny as your friends do. Buy a suit/interview outfit, cover up any outlandish tattoos, and keep the jewelry/makeup within professional standards. Obviously, those boundaries are very different for someone who wants to go into banking than they are for someone who intends to go into grassroots social-media marketing. Learn where the boundaries are for your field, and don't go outside them.

4. Just get started

While you may someday hope to run a company or have some other top-tier job, you can't push the door open without getting a foot in first. My first full-time job grew out of a part-time, bottom-level position at a magazine company during my senior year of college.

During winter break, the editor/only full-time staff member on one of the magazines I helped with was fired during a two-week period when top management was traveling to various trade shows. That left nobody to put the magazine together, so I stepped into the opening and did the job as best as I could.

That turned out to be good enough, and the company hired me to take over the magazine part-time while I finished school, and then full-time once I graduated. That was a unique situation, but it illustrates that sometimes just getting in the door -- even if it's mostly answering phones and making coffee -- can be the first step on your journey, as long as you're willing to work.⁠⁠⁠⁠
