Mojang/Microsoft Studios:- Minecraft is a great game to play with friends, and you can cross-play with them no matter the platform, as long as you have the same version.

How do I play Minecraft with a friend?

If you own the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can only play with folks who also have the Java Edition. The same goes for the Bedrock Edition. If you have different versions, you’ll have to buy the other one to play together. All of the platforms that run Minecraft Bedrock Edition can play together. This includes the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

You will need a Microsoft account in order to do this. Your Xbox account, if you have one, will work fine. Otherwise, you can make one for free right here. Once you have a Microsoft account, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve added the friend you want to play with on that account. Often this will require sending a friend invite to their Xbox Gamertag. Once that’s sorted, here’s how you can get into the same game. Joining a friend’s game If your friend is playing in their own hosted session, you can join them straight through the game.

As long as you’re friends via Microsoft, you can join their session by scrolling over to the Friends tab and looking under “Joinable Cross-Platform Friends.” These sessions can only hold up to eight people at once. If you’re invited to join a session, a pop-up will appear that you can either accept or decline.

Inviting friends to your game

To invite friends, open the start menu in-game. A sidebar will prompt you to invite friends. Once you select “invite,” you can add people from your friend's list to join your game. Keep in mind which player permissions you have active in your session (visible in settings). You can change it so people joining your session can only look at your world, or you can let them run wild, building, and breaking blocks.

Administrative privileges can even grant, by you. You can also set these privileges individually once friends join your session, by clicking the yellow icon next to their names. Using Realms for Multiplayer Players can also join Realms, which are servers that stay online all the time and don’t require a host to be currently playing. You can send invites to your Realm via your Friends tab or invite via a link if you’re playing on a PC. Clicking the link will launch the Minecraft app. Console players will need to be invited via friends list.

After joining the Realm for the first time, you will be able to return to it whenever you want from your Friends tab. The Realms you’ve joined will appear under “Joinable Realms,” as long as the Realm is still online. (Keep in mind that Realms are capped at 11 players active at the same time, so if you can’t join, it’s possible there are too many people already in there.)

The Twitter Bitcoin Hacker Is A Former Minecraft Scammer

On July 15, a Twitter hack targeting a number of the platform's most high-profile users caused chaos on the location, with Twitter temporarily restricting verified users from posting in the least. The hack had users like Gates, Kanye West, and Obama tweeting out a bitcoin scam to many followers.

Now, a 17-year-old Florida teenager has been arrested over the hack, and a replacement York Times profile has delved into his history of hacks and online scams. Friends told the many Times that Graham Ivan Clark started playing Minecraft at age 10 to flee an unhappy home life, and shortly became adept at scamming other players.

Like many young gamers, Clark dabbled with YouTube, building an audience playing Minecraft in PVP-oriented servers. He reportedly used the username Open or OpenHCF. the days report tracked down a variety of players who had been scammed by someone with an equivalent username--usually offering to sell a username or a rare cape then blocking the user once the cash had been sent.

One player described how he offered to shop for Clark's own username "Open" for $100 on the other hand was blocked once the transaction was sent. "I was just quite a dumb teenager, and searching back, there’s no way I should have ever done this," the user told the days. "Why should I ever have trusted this dude?"

Clark's seemingly practiced Minecraft scams are now preserved during a number of YouTube videos by other Minecraft players, exposing the foremost common ways he scammed other players.

After the Twitter hack, Clark is being charged as an adult with 30 felonies. He had previously been involved during a large bitcoin theft but wasn't charged thanks to being a minor.

5 Things you do not know about Beds

Beds are the most common item, used by the players in the game, for setting up the spawn point in the world. If we use a bed, by right-clicking on it, then you will sleep in the bed. And then a new re-spawn point is set by the player, in the world. Beds are a crafted utility block that a player can sleep in and set their spawn point to within a few blocks of it. Beds were added in Java Edition Beta 1.3 and introduced in Pocket Edition Alpha 0.4. 0. In Java Edition 1.12, the ability to dye beds was added.

· How many beds????

In the Minecraft, you can make a white bed with 3 white pieces of wool and 3 planks of wood, and then you can dye it also, or you can repeat the process with 3 red, yellow, purple, etc wools also.

But very few of you people know that you can make a bed with different combinations of wool and wood. For example, you can make a bed, by using 3 different types of wool such as purple, green, and pink, and 3 different planks of wood such as oak, dark oak, and spruce.

There are a total of 6 types of woods and 16 types of wools, so it means that there are a total of 884736 types of combinations, through which you can make beds.

I think it is a fabulous feature of the game, do you think so ????????

· Bed’s explosion

Almost everyone knows that if you try to sleep in the Nether world, or in the End world, then the bed will explode. And the explosion is more strong and destructive in the comparison of TNT in Minecraft.

I think this feature is making these worlds more realistic. As, Notch said that the Nether world is the hell of the Minecraft, and no one can sleep in hell, obviously.

The end looks like, a strange planet, with a big monster known as Ender dragon in the Minecraft, as the end portal will look like the universe when activated. So also no one can sleep in the End World, as a big dragon is flying above their beds.

· Bed can kill ender dragon

As, you read in the above fact that, a bed will explode in the End World if the player is trying to sleep there. So, this big explosion of the Bed is also can be used as a weapon, against the ender dragon.

As you all know, that we need many preparations when we planned for the Ender Dragon fight. Such as many enchantments, many different types of potions, Full enchanted armor, different varieties of foods, etc.

But you can also win the ender dragon fight without these things.

As, you can take many beds with you, and the only thing that you need to do is to explore the bed, at the right time, when the Ender Dragon will become very close to the bed. It is effective as a bed explosion can take 20 % health of Ender Dragon.

· Crying obsidian = Bed

In the early days, Notch has decided for adding crying obsidian in the game that will be used for setting the re-spawn point by the player.

But this idea of adding the crying obsidian in the game will be abandoned,

by the addition of beds in the game.

Torches are one of the most basic craft able items of Minecraft, and the most used light source in Minecraft. Torches are of two types:- Regular torch and Soul torch. You can craft a regular torch in Minecraft, by putting a stick, and a piece of coal or charcoal, on the top of the stick.
And you can make a soul torch by putting soul sand, or soul soil, on the top of coal and stick. You can find torches Naturally, at abandoned Mineshaft, Villages, near the bonus chest, at Woodland Mansion, Stronghold, etc.

Early Torches of Minecraft

Yes, see that picture, you can clearly see that, at early versions of Minecraft, the Torches have such a Dark texture, and they were smaller in size, but only in the inventory.
It means that this early texture is only seen at the inventory, but when you place torches, they look like that we see today. This is quite weird.
But after some versions, this change to the texture that we see today.

Torches spawn like dropped item

Yes, you hear right, that in the 1.8 snapshots of Minecraft, there was a bug that is, the naturally spawned torches, that found at villages, woodland mansions, the end, stronghold, was founded as dropped, or pick-able items, by the players, in rather than the placed on a block, where it was placed.
But, very quickly, this bug fixed, and we all found torches, placed on the blocks.

Minecraft Halloween update

Yes, in the Halloween update of Minecraft, there was a quiet little change in torches, that make them more realistic, it was that the torches will be burnt out when placed by the players.
The player should need to re-light up the torches with flint and steel or make new torches. After this update, you will not even safe in your house, as the torches that you placed, were burnt out.

Torches on leaves

Yes, in the early phase of Minecraft, you can place torches on the tree leaves.
But, you can place torches on leaves, if you play Minecraft with fancy graphics. This is unknown, that it was a bug or a feature. But, I think it is highly a bug, do you think so?
But, after some versions, this was changed, you are now not able to place torches on the leaves.

Torches can teleport

In the early phase of Minecraft, there was a pretty weird feature, that if you break the block on which a torch is placed, then the torch will teleport to the nearest available block, rather than dropping on the ground.
It seems pretty weird.
But, in the alpha version of Minecraft, this changed to that we see today, in the game.

Spiders are melee-attackers and small agile mobs of Minecraft that spawn in the overworld at night. There are two types of Spiders: - Regular spiders and Cave spiders (or they were also called poisonous spiders). Spiders are hostile mobs, but when the sun rises they become neutral mobs.

A regular spider has 8 hearts of health, and damage 1 heart in easy and normal mode. And, they will damage 1.5 hearts in the hard mode. But, don’t think that their health and damage is low, so they were easy to fight. Spiders are one of the fastest mobs in Minecraft and they attack us, slightly jumping, which makes it hard to hit them.

Why spiders neutral at day

I don’t think that it is the right reason, that why spiders didn’t attack players at daylight or become neutral.

At daylight, the spiders were floating on the ground. I think this is the reason, that they were flying and not feel the presence of the player, but when anyone hit it, and then it would touch the ground again, and start attacking.

Invisibility doesn’t work completely

Yes, you heard right, that the invisibility effect doesn’t work completely on a spider.
As, when you throw a splash potion of invisibility on a spider, then all the body of the spider becomes invisible, but the eight eyes of the spider don’t be invisible and remain visible.

Natural effects

Yes, you heard right that, sometimes or very rarely.
In the java edition of Minecraft, in the hard difficulty mode, there is an 18% chance of spawning off a spider with different effects.

You saw in my other articles that there are very rare chances of spawning with a spider, with a skeleton, like a spider jockey.
But you don’t know that in the pocket edition of Minecraft, there are also some chances of a cave spider, spawning with a skeleton, and forming a spider jockey.
Another fact, many of you didn’t know that there is also some chance of spawning off a spider with a wither skeleton, in the nether world.
Is it shocking for you?

Cave spiders

Cave spider is the second type of spider that is only found in the caves, or mainly Mineshaft. They didn’t spawn anywhere, other than these 2 places, naturally.
Cave spiders give the poison effect, to the player, when they attack them. Cave spiders are smaller in size than the regular spiders. And, they were faster.
Cave spiders have a green texture that shows they are poisonous. This is pretty cool. Do you think so?

Spider’s 6 senses

Yes, a Minecraft spider also has 6 senses.
If you shoot a spider with a bow, then it runs towards the location from where the arrow shoots, instantly.
If you wanted to keep safe, then run away from the place instantly.

Silverfish sounds like spiders

Yes, when the silverfish first added in Minecraft, beta 1.8, these small mobs sound the same as the spiders, when they killed.
But, in the 1.10 version of Minecraft, this small mob gets its own sound.
I think this is good. As players confuse when any of the following mobs come, because of their sounds.

Make neutral spiders at night

Yes, you heard right, that you are actually able to change a hostile spider into a neutral spider at night.
You saw that a spider doesn’t attack you when it is under daylight.
But if you place a bunch of torches at the ground, then when a spider stands on that ground, then it will become neutral and doesn’t attack you.
It is a pretty weird feature of Minecraft.

How spiders see

Did you know that how a Minecraft spider, see the world?
See the picture below to know. Like creepers, you can also get in a spider’s head in the spectator mode by clicking left-click on a spider, in the spectator mode.
You can clearly see that the spider has eight different visions. It can relate to the fact that likes the real spiders, Minecraft spiders also have 8 eyes and have 8 different visions.
I think it is quite an amazing feature of the game.

Dinnerbone doesn’t effect

Yes, you know that if you name any mob with a nametag, as Dinnerbone, then it will rotate upside down.
But this doesn’t work with a spider jockey, as if you name Dinnerbone, one of the mobs on the spider jockey will convert, but not the whole mob rotates, i-e, the skeleton, and spider.
I think this doesn’t work because, in a spider jockey, there is more than one mob.

Creepers are the explosive mobs of MINECRAFT that explode itself when the player comes in the radius of 4 blocks of the creepers. Creepers are the most iconic and the most recognizable mob of the Minecraft, as Mojang includes the face of the creeper in the Minecraft logo.
If you search for Minecraft merchandise, so than 80% of them are of creepers. Creepers are one of the earliest mobs that are added in the Minecraft. A Creeper has 10 hearts of health and the maximum damage of a single creeper is 24.5 hearts. If you kill a creeper, then you got 0-2 pieces of gunpowder.

Charged Creeper

If a Creeper is hit by lighting then it will become a charged Creeper. The explosion of that Creeper is very large than a regular Creeper. If the explosion bigger so that the damage is also much higher.
If any mob killed by the explosion of a charged creeper, then it drops its head, like skeleton head, zombie's head, or wither skeleton head.
But how did we take a charged creeper to the nether???
You can make a charged creeper by hitting a regular creeper by a TRIDENT that was enchanted with Channeling, in the Thunderstorm weather.
It is very rare to see a charged creeper that spawns naturally.

Yes, again you heard right, you know that if you drink a potion of invisibility then you become invisible, or if you throw a splash potion of invisibility on yourself or on another mob, like a creeper, then it would also be invisible.
But if you throw that portion on a charged a creeper, then it would invisible the creeper, but not the charging effect of it.
That was looking really cool. If anyone needs to make or capture a ghost than he/she will do this with a charged creeper and named it with a name tag.

Flint and Steel

Yes, you are able to explode a creeper by yourself.
If you don’t want that creeper to follow you to your base and explode, so can easily use flint and steel to explode a creeper anywhere.
It is like exploding TNT.
I think it is a pretty cool feature.

A Skeleton is a common hostile mob that shoots arrows and drops 0-2 bones, 0-2 arrows, armor (if equipped), and/or a bow (most likely used, however, there is a small chance a bow may be enchanted). They have primarily ranged mobs that the player encounters while in the overworld. Skeletons (before 1.13) are currently only one of two mobs that drop bones, the other being a Wither skeleton. Bones can be used to tame dogs and can be crafted into bone meal, which is used to speed up the growth process of saplings and crops.

· Halloween

On the 31^st October of every year, i-e, Halloween

The skeletons have a 40% chance of spawning with wearing a carved pumpkin on their head. And an 18% chance of wearing a jack o’ lantern.

I think this makes it more difficult to fight with a skeleton because due to the pumpkin or jack o’ lantern, the skeletons didn’t burn by the sunlight, in the day. So, you wanted to kill that annoying skeleton.

· Accuracy

The accuracy of hitting arrows by the skeletons depends on the active difficulty level, at which you play the game.

1. At the easy level, 1 of the 10 arrows, that the skeleton shoots, hits you.

2. At the normal level, 1 of the 4 arrows, that the skeleton shoots, hits you.

3. At the hard level, 1 of the 2 arrows, that the skeleton shoots, hits you.

· Skeleton’s bow

Skeleton

The bow is the most common and the most favorite weapon of the skeleton. The holding style of the bow by the skeleton is changed three times.

1. At first, skeletons hold the bow as it a normal thing that they hold in their hands. See the picture.

2. The second time, the skeleton holds the bow in both hands.

3. And finally, this changed to the style that we see today.

· Skeletons do not have lungs

Yes, did you ever observe that skeleton never drown?

When a skeleton is sunk underwater, it did not suffocate or change into another mob, like zombies changed into drowns.

But they did not stop shooting their arrows when they under the water. This made them too annoying.

Yes, you heard right, when you kill a skeleton in early versions, you can collect the arrows that the skeleton shoots.

I think this was an awesome feature.

· Stray

The stray is one of three mobs added in The Frost burn Update. This mob is biome-specific. It is a variation of a skeleton that wears torn clothing. Its behavior is also similar to a skeleton.

When the stray hits a player with an arrow, the player will be temporarily affected by Slowness. It will only inflict Slowness I, which means it can get away from a player easier if it wishes to do so and if they're not already cornered.

10 Things you don’t know about Zombies

Zombies are melee, hostile mobs that spawn in areas with a light level of 7 or less. They are found within nearly all Minecraft biomes and burn in the daylight. Zombies are one of the earliest added mobs of Minecraft that are still present in the game. Baby zombies are a mini version of regular zombies which have a rare chance to spawn in either Creative Mode or Survival Mode, with cheats, or with a spawn egg. Zombie villagers are another version of zombies that have a very rare chance of spawning naturally, or spawn when a villager is bitten by a zombie. We can cure a zombie villager into a zombie by splashing a splash portion of weakness and then giving a golden apple to it.

Easy = 2 Hearts

Yes, if we kill baby zombies then they will give 10 experience points to the player, if compared to adult zombies, they will give 5 experience points.

I never like to being struck in a big crowd of baby zombies for experience points.

Yes, I thought that zombies are really rare, do you?

1. Zombies are always spawning in a group of 4 or 7 in the plains biome.

2. Zombies have a 5% chance of spawning in the form of a zombie villager.

3. Zombies have a 10% chance of spawning in the form of baby zombies. And baby zombies; also have an additional 5% chance of spawning as a chicken jockey.

· Zombies with armor

See the list below and image below, to see the information of armors that worn by the zombies:-

1. Zombies have a 37.06% chance of spawning with leather armor.

2. Zombies have a 48.73% chance of spawning with gold armor.

3. Zombies have a 12.90% chance of spawning with chain armor.

4. Zombies have a 01.27% chance of spawning with iron armor.

5. Zombies have a 00.04% chance of spawning with diamond armor.

(Yes, it is very rare to see a zombie, that wearing diamond armor. Did you shock?)

Armor Details

· For zombies, healing is poisonous

Yes, you hear right, heal is poison for zombies.

When you throw a splash potion of poison to the zombies then it heals the zombies because their immune is set to the poison, and when you throw a splash potion of healing (which heal the player), to the zombies, it harms them. Because as we know that their immune is set to the poison so the healing will the poisonous.

· Cure a zombie

Yes, you can cure a zombie villager into a normal villager.

Many people didn’t know how to cure a zombie villager.

To cure a zombie villager, you need to make & throw a splash potion of weakness on the zombie, then give it a golden apple, and then the zombie makes a HAzzzz…. Sound and after sometimes, the zombie villager will be cured in a normal villager with refreshing trades or with a very heavy discount on the trades.

Most players turn the villagers into zombie villagers & then they cure them because of the heavy discount that they receive from the villagers.

This is known as the Zombie-Biting technique.

· Giant zombies

You see a giant version of zombies or mutant zombies in many mods of Minecraft but you can spawn a giant zombie on the original version of Minecraft.

You can spawn a giant zombie by entering the code in the chatbox that is:-

/summon giant

I don’t think that it is the right choice because I spawn a big giant zombie in my world which is in survival,

So, within a second, it kills me and destroys my whole house.

· Zombies drops feather

Yes, you hear right, as we all know that if we kill a zombie then its common drop is rotten flesh, and sometimes very rarely, it drops a carrot, a potato, or an iron ingot.

But in the early versions of Minecraft, if you kill a zombie then it drops a feather-like today’s chickens & parrots.

It doesn’t make any sense that how a zombie is can drop a feather. So, after some version, this changed to be rotten flesh, as a common drop.

· Zombie = Steve

Yes, you hear right

According to the Mojang, the basic structure of a regular zombies are similar to the default Minecraft character, Steve.

Yes, Zombie's eyesight is too good. Unlike the other mobs, Zombies can see you from 40 blocks far, and rest of the mobs can see you from only 16 blocks far.

Mojang added this feature because as I mentioned above that, the basic structure of a regular zombie is similar to the default Minecraft character, Steve.

So, the looking range of Steve is too long, so the zombies have a long looking range more than the other mobs.

In Minecraft, there are a total of 6 modes:-Survival, Hardcore, Creative, Adventure, Spectator, and Multiplayer mode.

Survival Mode

In survival mode, players have to gather natural resources such as wood and stone found in the environment in order to craft certain blocks and items. Depending on the difficulty, monsters spawn in darker areas outside a certain radius of the character, requiring players to build a shelter at night. The mode also has a health bar which is depleted by attacks from monsters, falls, drowning, falling into lava, suffocation, starvation, and other events.

Players also have a hunger bar, which must be periodically refilled by eating food in-game, except in peaceful difficulty. If the hunger bar is depleted, automatic healing will stop, and eventually, health will deplete.

Hardcore Mode

Hardcore mode is a survival mode variant that is locked to the hardest setting and has permanent death. If a player dies in a hardcore world, they are no longer allowed to interact with it, so they can either be put into spectator mode and explore the world or delete it entirely.

Creative Mode

In creative mode, players have access to all resources and items in the game through the inventory menu and can place or remove them instantly. Players can toggle the ability to fly freely around the game world at will, and their characters do not take any damage and are not affected by hunger. The game mode helps players focus on building and creating projects of any size without disturbance.

Adventure Mode

Adventure mode was designed specifically so that players could experience user-crafted custom maps and adventures. The gameplay is similar to survival mode but with various restrictions, which can be applied to the game world by the creator of the map.

This forces players to obtain the required items and experience adventures in the way that the map maker intended. Another addition designed for custom maps is the command block; this block allows map makers to expand interactions with players through scripted server commands.

Spectator Mode

Spectator mode allows players to fly through blocks and watch gameplay without directly interacting. Players do not have an inventory but can teleport to other players and view from the perspective of another player or creature. This game mode can only be accessed within the Java or PC edition.

Multiplayer Mode

Multiplayer in Minecraft is available through direct game-to-game multiplayer, LAN play, local split-screen, and servers (player-hosted and business-hosted). It enables multiple players to interact and communicate with each other in a single world. Players can run their own servers, use a hosting provider, or connect directly to another player's game via Xbox Live.
