SELIG CHAIRS - AFTER

Pair of Danish Selig Chairs

We have finished the chairs! We created new cushions with this beautiful polka dotted chocolate fabric for a completely fresh and mod look! We took the old cushions and deconstructed them to make a template pattern. Then we used that to make our new cushions. Then we even recycled the old cushions fabric and made round chair pillows out of them. Talk about being green. Let us know what you think about this transformation and continue to follow our blog as we exand and grow. WE BOUGHT THESE GREAT VINTAGE SELIG CHAIRS IN A BEAUTIFUL TURQUOISE COLOR BUT THE SEAT CUSHIONS ARE IN HORRIBLE CONDITION. INSTEAD OF RE-UPHOLSTERING THE ENTIRE CHAIR WE ARE GOING TO PUT A MODERN TWIST ON THE CHAIR AND ONLY CREATE A NEW CUSHION WITH NEW FABRIC. WE CHOSE A SATIN CHOCOLATE AND TURQUOISE PATTERNED FABRIC. THIS IS ALSO A GREAT WAY TO IN A SENSE RECYCLE THE CHAIR'S FABRIC, THE OLD CUSHION WILL SERVE AS THE PATTERN. SO HERE ARE SOME BEFORE PICTURES - ONCE THERE FINISHED WE'LL POST THE AFTER PICTURES.
