The end is near. My family leaves in 3 days. Preparing myself because I'm going to bawl!!! All good here in sunny paris, seen a ton of movies this week. Loved Tree of Life. Those are the most beautiful images I saw in my life. Please go watch it if you still haven't. Other than that I've been so busy with work and entertaining my family that I'm averaging about 4 hours sleep per night.But I did steal 5 mins to upload my look. That is what I wore to work today.

Taking my mum and sister around has made me kind of a tourist too. Its pretty cool. Ran to meet them after work at the Rodin museum. We played a little and the I got dragged to see Hangover 2. It wasn't a total waste because I finally got a chance to reply to all my mails. But I must confess there werer some parts, far and few between that were funny.
Its finally summer again in Paris after a sucky week of rain. As you see I'm trying to see how little material I can get away with(¨,)

Hey ya'll went to the gay pride with my mum , sister and a bunch of friends. Fun. Fun. Fun. We danced on the streets of Paris but ofcourse we ate Berthillon icecream fo energy first!!! Paris is so much better in the summer. Yes, I look like a hobo but hey I knew those queens would steal my shine. So why bother, eh? As for the last pretty girl, that's my friend Sasha. She is the only woman who stole my attention away from the proud, party people(¨,) My family will stay here a week more and after that I promise I'll whip my own ass back into blogger.

I love the rains. Growing up in Mumbai, it becomes part of your system. You gather at someone's house with a bunch of friends. Eat hot foods. Watch movies in bed. Aaaaah the good times when life hadn't arrived.
In Paris however I don't feel the same. Because the rain here can't make up its F*#!ing mind. If I was smart I wouldn't complain. Don't want to anger the rain gods. My mum and sister are here next week so I need all the weather help I can get.
Atleast I have this jacket to help me feel snuggly. Buttons need a major do over though. These one stink!

Tired of my face I decided to play Cousin It for today. Didn't work out so well as my hair hid the dress. So settled and showed you half my mug. The dress is made from a towel, I think? Hence high comfort level. Perfect for lounging around doing nothing.
And yes I know the dress is hooker length but peeps I got that under control. Bicycle shorts. And the tacky synthetic kind tooo....

Since my lover is korean , I'm exposed to korean images all the time. And these korean girls do the baby doll look very well. Not really my style but I like to play too. Once in a very long while.
Did pictures indoors because I have much to do today. But doing so made me realize shooting indoors lets you play with the camera so much more. No creepy butchers or dogs on heat near here.

I love these suspenders I thrifted 3 years ago. I love the colour and it just makes everything more fun. 3 years ago I would find amazing jewels like this in thrift stores right in front of my eyes. Now you really have to dig around like a hobo. But I guess you can't complain too much when you find red leather jackets for 50 euros , no?

So the other day my friend David sent me an image through bbm that caused me to literally fall off my chair laughing. What he sent me was an image of my face (From an old editorial I shot for Marie Claire India) on cushions being sold in Paris. I of course saw moneybags because french copyright laws are strong. Unfortunately on visiting the store I found out that its manufactured in China. Pfffff! How can I a little indian girl stand up to the chinese mafia??? As if thats not enough, to add even more salt to my wounds I find out that my price on the streets is just 29 euro. I somehow thought I'd be worth more. Guess I don't give good enough face.

Hey hey hey what a day! First fighting at social security. They miraculously never receive my documents. So I don't know why I pay these wallet crushing taxes. Then fighting at a store that is very cheekily selling cushions with my face on it! Another blog on that coming up.
But my day got better because I found the best thai restaurant. Its a little one on rue Saint croix de la bretonnerie very close to metro Hotel de ville. Please try the lamb and the squid with green pepper. You can thank me later(¨,)

So the reason I'm rambling about my day is that I didn't think I would make it in those shoes. But I did! They are very berry comfortable and I got them from ASOS. They are now of sale incase any of you are interested.

I'm not into very girly stuff. So even though I love, love, love this skirt I was not sure how to wear it. I think my black leather jacket would have roughed it up a bit but my dear sister said I need to let that jacket hibernate for a while. She thinks I wear it too much. I would like her to hibernate a while because I had to rethink my look. Normally I choose my clothes in 5 minutes. Today I swear it took 7!! Yes, my life is so hard(¨,) So I tried it this way. What do you think?

Who knew that these things would make me blush. Today we passed by a little lake with many little boats for rent and I kind of forced lover to take me to them. In India the little boats smell fishy and that isn't the smell of romance. Well Lover thought it was very 1920s. What can I say? He has been spoiled living so many years in Paris. Anyway I convinced him to grab those oars and row row row the boat. It was very cute because in the end he turned out to enjoy it more than me. Whilst I struggled to keep my balance he started acting like he was in some sort of competition with the others. One wet camera and two pairs of wet shoes later, here is my look!

Velvet is not really my go to fabric. It just feels old and not in a good way. And pink is definitely my least favourite colour. Its so Hello Kitty! But this dress seems to make me stop and think again. Its totally comfy and has that perfect ill fitting look. Im not saying that I will be all velvety from now on but I'm glad I gave this little dress a try.

Hello Lovlies,

I know this post comes earlier than usual but I thought maybe it makes sense to put up posts when I'm starting the day rather than ending it. So I hope everyone had a super weekend. I sure did. More of an eating weekend:) We like those, don't we?

I don't know what's the sun's problem??? I really wanted to take off the jacket to show you this dress but I'm a bad blogger. It was way to cold for my indian skin. Lover on the other hand is being very good. Today he took me all the way up to montmarte. And even though the ladies entering the Sacre Coeur didn't approve my look I think Jesus was cool with it.

Yeah the weekend is here!!! Had a busy week so excited to do nothing. Maybe just spend some time with lover and demand a million kisses. If that doesn't play out (sometimes his exercise regime gets in the way of wasteful lying in bed) then I will find a friend and go to the cinema. Ferdie hear me.

Today the sun was playing a game of hide and seek. It was sunny in the morn so I decided to put on this dress I bought at Patricia Pepe yesterday. Small problem. It's a top!!! With complete disregard for social boundaries I wore it anyway and then spent the rest of the day pulling it down whilst trying to smooth down my goose skin from the sneaky winds.But it was kind of worth it. Except for the creepy butcher with the one sided smile. Can't use that street again. The boots I don't need to talk about. I could take them to bed. They're that hot. Cool clinky chain from India.

And I feel like a badass. Ummm minus the goose skin from the cold. Thats not badass. More jackass from not checking the meteo.
