Salam everyone, I did it again! and will always do it in shaa Allah. This is my second video on You Tube which is about this easy way of wearing your hijab, I used scarf with raffles which can give you more puffiness on your face (if you like to, some ladies doesn't like to go with that!).

Can't wait to hear all your comments, I'm still nervous with camera but hope we will be best friends soon :)

Miss this spot! Has been long time since I post here, what a shame! It's not easy with working 24 hours in five days a week; yes I'm working now for eight hours and then complete my job with kids responsibilities. I would like to apologize to all my viewers who I have been away from them for such a long time. I hope you accept my apology but life sometimes not fair.

This is completely different. No embroideries used in this design only crystals and brosh. Yes we used that large piece of broch which contain of different crystals in different sizes, we added crystals in colors of white & emerald all width of the scarf/hijab. Closeup look:

I had many thought before I end doing this design, I even told myself 'Fatma if you are going to do fashion show, this should go first!!' It looks like designers design isn't it :)

Let's have a closer look and TALK about it:

Tulle made of color called dodger blue, crystals on colors of aqua bohemica, rose which was used on top of the tulle and on the bottom we used large pieces of fuchsia color. In the middle of the gulab- in indian means rose, we add one of the large crystals which can be add by stitching. We forgot to mention color of the hijab,scarf; it's a very light magenta

Here where we mixed different style of designs and different colors of crystals in one scarf. As it looks a design made of crystals, colors are (black diamond, aquamarine, aqua bohemica, light sapphire, sapphire, montana and capri blue) we add versace, round and sprinkle some stones here and there.

The color of this scarf matching very well with black lace, I just got the idea of this design while I was shopping for fabrics..color is delicious and remind me of young pop star Avriel Lavigne, queen of pink and black :)

In this design, we used white color of crystals in different sizes and large two pieces of crystals I mean BIG pieces

We spread crystals all over the lace and in the center of the large crystals where we tight up and stitch the lace then added crystals and chain of crystals as well it's like an explosion...isn't it?!

One of my favorites, well most of the designs this time is FAVORITES!! to me. When I saw this material I couldn't resist the color. This color called Magenta by professionals :) we didn't use any embroideries in this scarf. We just used crystals in colors of white and fuschia and white color of pearls. The tiny flowers moves while you are moving your scarf as we stick the crystals in other material then stitched it from center with piece of pearl, brilliant haaa

This cheeky scarf is similar to THIS design, only colors are different. From what you see: material is in dimgrey, crystals are rainbow, white, light pink and olive green. Embroideries are in dark olive and light pink.

Very Unique

Very unique type of work, this is first time I use full lines of beads in a design. This color was a challenge to me; we couldn't find more than 100 pieces of beads (the Japanese not Chinese one) in this color and in different sizes. Take another look:

If you take closer look at the scarf, you will find it contains of beads, stones, crystal lace and normal (cotton) lace and sari fabric (the shiny one in the middle) all of them in colors of (white crystals, sapphire beads and black lace). Beads and stones are all round the scarf and in the middle as well, very lovely and unique design

'We Care' Exhibition- part 2

Most of you knows that 30th of March was the huge charity exhibition (for who was away click HERE).

As I promised I'm back with more excited details :-) Couldn't sleep at night, making sure everything is ready and even on bed my eyes were popping waiting for the big day. We arrived to the hall early morning, found my table and start arranging my scarves. Check it out:

Honestly, I have no idea how to arrange my scarves so it can attract people but I think this was enough ;-)

We enjoyed this exhibition to the maximum, it was a good experience for me. I learned how to deal with different types of customers but what really made me understand the value of my scarves and how unique they are (it's not like I don't know!!) was the impression from the ladies, they keep going and coming back bringing back their friends or parents. Even her highness of National Association of Cancer Awareness (NACA) passed by me and she got amazed when she saw my stuff. I'm happy and proud; I have husband who always support me and friends who are always there when I fall to help me get up and be more stronger. Thank you all for believing in me, I guess I'm suppose to say that when I'm a real fashion designer and running my own company haha. Forgive me all for not adding other photos or works of Omani talented girls; I couldn't move from my area because my place was always crowded. 'We Care' Exhibition-part 1

In this world everyone living with a dream; it doesn't matter if it's small or big because it means a lot to us. Everyone has his own check list and what a smile to put in your face when you check one or two of them. In those few weeks, i was getting ready for one of the things which was listed in my long-life list. This big day has come which is participating in one huge exhibition in Oman. 'We Care' Exhibition is a charity exhibition which all funds will be raised for one of the cancer associations; National Association of Cancer Awareness (NACA).

Our sponsors are press (media), telecommunication and radio channel.

The best part till now is looking for new materials, I got mad what to go with, the colors made me blind :-) so I bought all new colors of fabrics that I never had the courage to use them before and new accessories as well. Well it means new designs as well isn't it ;-)

I'M SO EXCITED!! can't wait to get back and post all new images from exhibition and yeah one more thing this time I will have my signature on all my scarves (hijab) yaaay

The exhibition will start this Wednesday 30th from 10 am to 10 pm, wish me luck! and please get back for new updates see ya!

Yeah babe its olive this time and I really worked hard to get this design done and to choose right colors to suit the fabric and that's why it looks amazing. The above image shows the whole design as you cover your head and you take it round the design shows all sides of the scarf. You will understand more in the upcoming images:

This is left side; here you can see closely colors of crystals (olivine, rainbow and smoke topaz AB) and embroideries are in burly wood, dark olive and bistre colors .

This was for one of my customers order for Eid, she always do her scarf with us but she goes with black material for her scarves. Anyhow, this marvelous black beauty contain of wool flower, silver lace, other golden lace full of beads and crystals in vermilion (orange), hotpink (pink) and rainbow colors. Being away..not my choice

Yes being away not my choice. I'm a person who can spend hours surfing on the net, specially blogging I can do it everyday but it's not in my hand. Most of you knows I'm a wife and a mom of two girls who aged between 4 and 1. Which means less time for myself; yes I do waking up early but still not enough, I need to check emails for orders, I need to design, go checking for new materials and checking tailors as well. Kids needs attention and activities to keep them busy and the biggest activity is there mom!! I love being around them, see them laughing and crying. Jana is almost 4 years and she want to do activities all the time or (her phrase) :mom let us go to the mall I don't want to play just lets go around and check new dresses!! how sweet right!. Maybe shes willing to be designer like her mom ;) . Yara who just turn 1 year this week, shes always busy I mean each second she never sits or rest always in a mission. If shes quite that means shes into something. The good news, I'm spending unforgettable times with them and the bad news, I cant think while they are around. Here come my decision; I'm taking break for almost 3 months to clear my mind and have regularly activities for my kids, regularly routine then I'm back in the track. But that doesn't consider me giving up (will never happen) I just need to clear my mind because my schedule is full (drawing, designing and sewing). New designs will be mention in quick posts at mid of the night ;) I'm sad that I'm going to leave my passion for a while but my family needs me and I have to respond to that call. Hope you all understand what I'm going through. Love ya all.
