Rise of Nations - Rise of Legends is one of the most attractive strategy games I have played for a very long time. The story which goes through the single player campaigns is pretty good and exciting but after you see the massive metal units you can construct and make huge armies you will be blown away by how fun and enjoyable this game is.

Other gaming sites game the game a score of 7.6/10 but i think the game deserves a 9/10 score. The title of the game really leads you to believe its a ancient strategy type of game but its actually very technology advanced futuristic strategy game where you can build huge armies, giant metal spiders and so much more.

As you advance through the campaign you will unlock different races which have their own advantages and weaknesses, the campaigns are not very hard at the beginning but as you advance it gets a lot harder and you will have to do some planning in order to be successful.

The game also has some amazing hero elements, you can pick heroes to help you through your campaigns and each of them have their own abilities, they can be upgraded and you can also use the same upgrade points to either upgrade your hero skills or get better units in the beginning of each campaign. I like to mix them and get from both but that's just me.

Graphics are very attractive and even though my PC is little bit slow i was still able to enjoy great graphics with no lag and enjoy the game to the max 8/10.

Sound is also very good and each character and unit has its own voice even though some effect sounds are missing 7/10.

Overall the game is very attractive and it would definitely addict you and keep you entertained through the campaigns because with each completed missing or region you get something new being a new hero to torment your opponents or a new unit to a new race you can explore.

Farm Frenzy 3 Review

Who would have thought that you could make a game out of all the hard work that happens on a farm? Well, here is the third installment of the Farm Frenzy series which I'm sure will continue to be a fan favorite.

This game brings a lot of new gaming experience to the table with its 95 levels and five global locations. Whole new experiences come with the various locations like penguins eating fish in the cold arctic climates to loins showing up in the Africa areas.

One really nice change between Farm Frenzy Pizza Party and Farm Frenzy 3 is, no more "recipes"! While recipes did add a new dimension to the game play, I personally did not like the complicated recipe system that Farm Frenzy Pizza Party introduced to the series. Farm Frenzy 3 is more "back to the basics" with its gaming style, starting you off with the basic chickens and feed, gathering eggs to store in your warehouse, and finally loading up your truck to sell your goods in town to earn money for upgrades. As the game progresses you will be introduced to new buildings and new animal types, each of these new buildings and animals offer you higher profits from the products you can produce.

Besides the solid, entertaining game play, Farm Frenzy 3 also upgraded the visual aspect of the game by enhancing the rich buildings and animals with more dimension and shadows. Everything in the game is now very dimensional, from the animated buildings to the more detailed, 3D looking animals. One drawback to the upgraded graphics is that the game does require a little more "horse power" from your computer to render the graphics smoothly. If you're running an older computer, you may notice some slowdowns when fast action is occurring like predators dropping from the sky while having a large amount of activity occurring on your farm.

Final thoughts, I was very happy to see the simple game play come back into Farm Frenzy 3 like it was in the original two games in this series, but also there are enough new places, new animals and new building to make this a highly addictive game. The massive number of levels gives you a ton of game play that will keep you happily farming and entertained for hours! Good luck and happy farming!

Step 1 - Get Fertilizer:

To acquire fertilizer you must help your neighbors with their chores. Visit your neighbors farm and accept the chores they have posted. Accept the chores they have offered. You can chase crows, chase a gopher, rake leaves, scare away a fox, or pull weeds to earn fertilizer.

Step 2 - Fertilize Your Neighbors Crops:

Once you have received your x5 bags of fertilizer visit your neighbors farm to fertilize their fields. Fertilized crops will sparkle with stars and grow much larger than their other crops.

Step 3 - Harvest Your Neighbors Crops:

Visit your neighbors farm and find the fertilized crops. The crops appear to be larger than the other crops on the farm. Harvest their fertilized crops and then move on to another neighbor and harvest their fertilized crops as well.

Step 4 - Harvest 100 Crops:

To earn the Yellow Crop Whisper Ribbon you must harvest 100 fertilized crops. To earn the White Ribbon you must harvest 500 crops. For the Red and Blue ribbons harvest 1000 and 5000 crops respectively.

The Thief uses a bow and arrow and can shot a slingshot to attach and swing from any wooden object, this slingshot does not hurt enemies. You can charge her bow and arrow to fire faster more powerful arrow. She later gets fire arrows and the ability to shoot multiple arrows. The arrows are unlimited so there is no need for ammo.

The slingshot can be used to solve a lot of puzzles most of the time in combination with one of the other characters powers. The slingshot enables her to solve most easy puzzles the fastest, it might take some time to get used to but once you are it works like a charm. The length of the slingshot can be increased at will, this allows you to swing at and land on more places.

When you charge the bow and arrow you can still move around but you must be on the ground to fire it, this works very well and creates a new play dynamic. But the bow is best used from a distance, lots of the times you can kill the enemies before they even get to you. If the enemies are not aware of you remember charge the bow first to get maximum damage on the first hit.

She can also effectively run while shooting the enemy. This combined with the slingshot makes it easy to run to a higher platform while in combat and easily kill the enemy before it reaches you. The Thief is a great addition to the game and is very fun to play.

he high-octane video game known as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 hit the stands late Monday night and gamers were out to purchase their copy. Friends of mine spent the wee hours of the morning working through the first level, maybe even another one. I had a chance to chat with them the following day about their experience with Modern Warfare 2.

All my coworkers agree that the graphics are great and that it's action filled from the get-go. Stunning sound effects and even the musical score was intense and realistic. From the first level, the player is pushed to the limits as getting through it may cause a spine-tingling effect. Afterwards, it's the typical shoot or be shot game.

The storyline is a bit confusing at times, even though it picks up where "Soap" MacTavish leaves us from the last rendezvous. Aside from the storyline, everything else is sweet. The makers have even created different editions for the gamer's delight. There is the regular edition, the Hardened Edition, then the Prestige Edition. Within the Hardened Edition comes the steel game case, and you'll even get an art book and Call of Duty Classic on XBLA or PSN all for $80, according to Infinity Ward spokesman Robert Bowling. The Prestige Edition comes with fully functioning Night Vision Goggles- all for 149.99 bones.

After 2 weeks of using Wii Fit I ended up gaining two pounds, but since muscle weighs more than fat I am not surprised. Now that I tested how effective they are lets look at the different exercises the game offers.

The games are broken up into four different categories, Yoga, strength training, aerobics and balance. The game lets you choose between a male or female trainer. It gives you a time bank which keeps track of how long you have been excising.

Let's start with Yoga, this section has the most exercises. Unfortunately when you start most of the exercises are locked. You get started with some strange exercises that girls like to do, so I thought it would be super easy but girl was I wrong. Yoga also has the most exercises that did not use the balance board, which I thought was real strange since the balance board is the main reason we have this game. I preferred to use Yoga as a warm up or warm down exercise.

Strength training is the hardest of all exercises and it should be. There are all the exercises you should doing in a normal workout. Instead of unlocking more exercises towards the end you unlock challenges against the personal trainer. These exercises also have so some that did not use the balance board but instead used the Wii remote. The game reads the remote accurately but will miss one of my moves once in a while. They even offer the choice to up your weight using a water bottle for your sets, but it is a little hard to hold.

Aerobic games are the ones I tended to do most often, they have four different kinds of games. Hula hoops may look simple but it may tire you out fast. Step aerobics which you have to step on the balance board in rhythm to the music an instructions the tv. Boxing is more like step aerobics, boxing and stepping according to the music. It is boring and takes too long. My favorite of the whole game is running. You put the remote in your pocket and you start running in place, it is just that simple. As you play more you can unlock longer tracks, a second player option and my favorite a free run.

Then there is the balance games, soccer heading, ski slalom, ski jump, table tilt, tight rope, balance bubble, penguin slide, snow boarding and zazen. I particularly like ski jumping and you can play over again. Unlike Zazen which is game you sit still for minutes at a time looking at a candle. No I am not kidding, that is the whole game.

There is a fifth option which is called favorites, which looks at which games you play the most and puts them one page so that you can access them easily. It would have been great if we could this screen to set up our own workouts and go to the next one on the list after you have completed exercises. That is my biggest complain about this game it forgets that you want to use as an exercise program and not just a game. When you finish an exercise it gives you two options, quit or retry.

Retry, I just finished that exercise why would I want to do it again? How about an option to move on to the next exercise. Because of this huge oversight your 30 minute workouts would not have taken twice as long you have to continuously quit, select new exercises, waiting for the board to recalibrate then you can do the exercise. It was just a big hassle. There are suggestions once in a while on which exercises you should do next but that should be available after every exercise. I had no idea what exercises I should be doing, so I ended up just picking them randomly and hoping I was getting a balanced workout.
