Hi there! I am so excited to share with you some recent projects I have been working in the next couple of weeks. Today I'm sharing with you an invitation I made for one of my closest friends! She decided on a Mickey Mouse theme and the picture she chose for the invite is just too cute! I love it when my friends ask me to help with their parties! Using my creativity and design skills is after all my true passion!

I am so excited to share with you my kids' Carnival Birthday Party! I decided to go with a Carnival theme this year for both of them since their birthdays are only a month apart. I had so much fun planning and designing every detail for this party. We had lots of games, prizes and the best part of the party was definitely the Photo Booth.

We had a dessert table filled with lots of Carnival Treats...chocolate dipped pretzels, cake pops, cotton candy and popcorn

Advent Activity- Day 1

Put up the Christmas Tree

This year my daughter was very excited to help decorate the Christmas tree. I'm so proud of her, she knew exactly which ornaments should go where and she was so happy to put up the star. She also can't wait to turn the lights on and off everyday. My son on the other hand, loves taking the glass ornaments down.

2011 Advent Activity List

2011-12-01T19:48:00.000-08:00

This is going to be our first year doing an Advent Activity List and I am so excited about it! I'm hoping we can start some family traditions from it and I think my 4 year old daughter will love most of the activities I have planned.

I bought our Advent Calendar at Target for $2.50, and it's adorable. It's perfect because it has these little pockets where I could insert a little paper with the activity printed inside.

Put up the Christmas tree
Write a letter to Santa
Make a gingerbread house
Visit Santa
Watch a Christmas movie
Make homemade hot chocolate
Have Family Game Night
Visit the Fantasy of Lights
Read a new Christmas book
Make paper snowflakes for windows
Take a family photo in front of the Christmas tree
Make brownies for Santa
Stuff and mail Christmas cards
Color a Christmas picture
Wear red or green
Make a special breakfast
Listen to Christmas music
Make Christmas cookies
Donate used toys
Make Christmas cards for Grandparents
Make a handprint/footprint Christmas Craft
Attend local Holiday parade
See Christmas Lights in the neighborhood
Donate food to local food pantry

Happy Thanksgiving!

2011-11-29T17:36:00.000-08:00

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! My family and I had a great Thanksgiving and I definitely have so much to be thankful for especially my 2 kids. My brother and sister-in-law hosted Thanksgiving at their house this year, so when she asked me to help her with some decorative ideas I was super excited! I was able to create some printables for this. I made a menu in which I displayed in a wooden frame, cupcake toppers, food cards and two centerpieces.

Cake Pops!

2011-11-15T16:46:00.000-08:00

Not only do I design printable party packages, I also make delicious cake pops. I first made them a couple months ago for my sons baptism, and since then the response has been overwhelming. This was a recent order for a girl baby shower. My customer requested some personalized tags in the color scheme of the shower.

Printable Christmas Collection

2011-11-14T18:23:00.000-08:00

I have designed a Christmas Printable Party Package. Here is a sneak peek of some of the tags I have designed which would be perfect for cupcake toppers, favors, or even Christmas gifts. The entire printable party will be posted in a few days, so stay tuned. If you are interested, please contact me. Thanks!

Halloween Party

2011-11-10T20:50:00.000-08:00

I hosted a Halloween Party for my daughter and her friends at our home this year. I created a Spider theme invitation with Purple, Orange and Black polka dots along with coordinating food tags and a pennant banner.

For food I served mini Cuban sandwiches, popcorn chicken, and veggies. For desserts I made cupcakes and cake pops. It was awesome to see some of the guests who had never tried cake pops before...they LOVED them!

We also had Pumpkin decorating which each of the kids we able to take home and tons of games. The party was definitely a success and I can't wait to host another one next year!

The Spider Halloween Collection will be available on my Etsy shop soon.

I'm back after being MIA for a while! I will be updating my blog more often with upcoming projects soon. Weddings, Birthdays, Holidays!

Since I got so many raves on the diaper cake I made for my baby shower, I decided I'd start selling some. Check out my shop here if you are interested.

Christine and Michael's Wedding

2007-11-14T17:09:00.001-08:00

I finally finished my best friend's wedding invitations this weekend and I have to say, they really turned out amazing! She decided to go with a Pink and Brown color scheme for her Spring wedding. My favorite is the reception card with a whimsical timeline of the day's events. The custom designed monogram and pink motifs and borders became the accents on the pocketfold invitations. A pink satin ribbon and the monogram on the closure seal completed the elegant look.

Note: Names and dates have been changed to protect our clients identity.

My Baby Shower

2007-10-29T14:40:00.000-07:00

Last Saturday I had my Baby Shower at Bruschetta and Co. and I was so excited at how everything turned out. I had never been there, and the food and service were amazing. It was nice to see family and friends I had not seen since our wedding last year and I am thankful for the gifts they all bought for the baby not to mention all the books she already has for her library. I especially wanted to thank my mother for putting this special event together for me (She truly is the BEST!)

As promised here some photos from the Baby Shower. Enjoy!!
