I’m a Liverpool fan for life.
But I’m still a Michael Owen fan.

I get tired of hearing the “Where were you in Instanbul” chants every time he plays against the Reds. Liverpool’s been to other big finals since his departure, what about those?

I’m not saying that I agree with Owen leaving the club. He should have stayed.
I don’t think<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/DnHJ/~4/rrtHDZyBcTQ" height="1" width="1"/>

Bellamy Shows his Value to Liverpool

Luis Suarez’s ban has been a nightmare for Liverpool, except maybe for Craig Bellamy.

In the Uruguayan’s absence, and due to the inconsistent form of Andy Carroll, the Welshman has been handed the chance to become the Reds’ main sole striker.

And he hasn’t wasted his opportunity; he has put in some very lively performances, being a constant threat <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/DnHJ/~4/Chn8dYRBn3A" height="1" width="1"/>

Suarez Banned for 8 Matches. Craig Bellamy, who switched flanks with Stewart Downing, had a storming game and bossed the left side of the park. Raul Meireles went in to win a ball and caught a defender’s arm on his chest. He is an excellent defensive striker, one who puts the tackles in and is quick to get back to defend set pieces. With Lucas suspended, Craig Bellamy earned a place in the starting XI to play against the club where he started his professional career. And he made an impact with his pace, causing the Norwich defence a few problems.

Liverpool vs Manchester United.

The battleground was set at Anfield, a place United had lost at in their previous three visits. In fact the last United player to score a winner at Anfield was Carlos Tevez.

Who can forget how a resurgent Liverpool led by the irrepressible Luis Suarez ran rings around what some United fans would argue was a makeshift defence in March this year. Since arriving in England in January 2011, Luis Suarez has set the Premier league alight. He scored on his debut for Liverpool against, and then almost single-handedly dismantled Manchester United in the 3 - 1 victory.

In the opening six games of this season he has continued to bewilder defenders and wreak havoc in opposition goal boxes. His confidence and ability on the ball is fantastic, and <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/DnHJ/~4/vtkbY_qmXpk" height="1" width="1"/>

Jordan Henderson Not Quite the Star.
