One such saint or devotee is Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva. He was born on 16 February 1838 in the village of Kamar Pukur in West Bengal, India. He was the youngest son in a poor Brahmin family. He used to worship mother Kali from his childhood. And at one point he became the best devotee of Mother Kali. From an early age, Ramakrishna has been seen to have miraculous powers inside Paramahamsa Deva. He is said to have told his father in a dream before he was born that he was a form of God. Although it is a miracle to hear the word, it is true. Because the followers of Hinduism believe in the incarnation of God. It is known that whenever man has been afflicted with superstition, injustice, misery and misery in the world, God has appeared in the world as an incarnation. To show the right path to free people from misery. And many patterns of roses have been found many times. And Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva is such an incarnation.

ধর্মীয় আচার অনুষ্ঠান ও পৌরাণিক কল্প কাহিনির দেশ বললে, পৃথিবীর মধ্যে একটি দেশের নাম সামনে আসে সেটি হলো ভারতবর্ষ। আর এই ভারতবর্ষে বহু সমায়ে বহু সাধু সন্তের জন্ম হয়েছে। যারা যুগ যুগ ধরে অবতার রূপে পৃথিবীতে জন্মগ্রহন করে মানুষ জাতিকে দেখিয়েছে সঠিক পথ। মানুষকে কুসংস্কারে মোড়া সমাজ থেকে বের করে এনে প্রকৃত শিক্ষার আলো যারা মানুষের মনে জ্বালিয়েছে তারা হলো এই সাধু সন্ত।

তেমনই একজন সাধু বা সাধক হলেন শ্রী রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেব। তিনি ১৮ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি ১৮৩৬ সালে ভারতের পশ্চিম বঙ্গের কামার পুকুর গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি গরিব ব্রাহ্মমন পরিবারে কনিষ্ঠ ছেলে ছিলেন। তিনি ছোটো বেলা থেকে মা কালির আরধনা করতেন। এবং এক সমায় তিনি মা কালির শ্রেষ্ঠ সাধকে পরিনত হন। ছোটো বেলা থেকেই রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেবের ভিতরে অলৌকিক শক্তির আর্বিভাব হতে দেখা যায়। শোনা যায় তিনি যে ঈশ্বরের একটি রূপ তা তিনি তার জন্মের আগে স্বপ্নে প্রকট হয়ে তাঁর বাবাকে বলে গেছিলেন। কথাটি শুনতে অলৌকিক হলেও সত্য। কারন হিন্দু ধর্ম অবলম্বীরা ঈশ্বরের সাকার রূপে বিশ্বাসী। জানা যায় পৃথিবীতে যখনই মানুষ কুসংস্কার, অন্যায় অত্যাচার, দুঃখ দূর্দশাতে জর্জরিত হয়েছে তখনই ভগবান অবতার রূপে পৃথিবীতে আর্বিভিত হয়েছেন। মানুষকে দুঃখ দূর্দশা থেকে মুক্ত করতে সঠিক পথ্ দেখাতে। আর এই কথা গুলের অনেক নিদর্শনও অনেক বার পাওয়া গেছে। আর রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেব তেমনই একজন অবতার। তিনি তার সাধনার মূল মন্ত্রে জীবকে ভালোবাসার কথা জানিয়েছিলেন।

তিনি বলেছিলেন জীবকে ভালোবাসলে প্রকৃত ঈশ্বরকে লাভ করা যায় । তাইতো তিনি বলেছিলেন " জীবে প্রেম করে যেই জন" সেই জন সেবিছে ঈশ্বর। এছাড়া তিনি তার সাধক জীবনে হিন্দু, মুসলিম, বৌদ্ধ, খ্রিষ্টান সব ধর্মের পর্যালোচনা করেছিলেন। এবং তিনি বলেন যে সব ধর্মই এক ও অভিন্ন তবে উপসনা করার রীতি আলাদা আলাদা হওয়ার কারনে আমরা প্রত্যেকটা ধর্মকে আলাদা মনে করি। তাইতো তিনি বলেছিলেন - " যত মত " তত পথ্। কথাটির রথ হলো - ঈশ্বরকে আরধনার জন্য যত মতের সৃষ্টি হবে, তেমনি ঈশ্বরের প্রার্থনার পথ্ও তত বেশি হবে।

ঠাকুর রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেব খুবই যুক্তিবাদী সাধক ছিলেন। তিনি তার যুক্তি ও পরামর্শ দ্বারা তৎকালীন সাম্রাজ্যবাদী সমাজ ব্যাবস্থায় আমূল-পরিবর্তন এনেছিলেন। তাঁর এই যুক্তিবাদীতায় মুগ্ধ হয়ে স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ ঠাকুর রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেবের পরম শিষ্য হয়ে ওঠেন। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংস দেবের আদর্শকে জীবনের মূল মন্ত্র মনে করে জীবন অতিবাহিত করেন।

Today is the 25th Baishakh 1427( Baishakh is bengali year), the 159th birth anniversary of the poet. So this day in particular is a very important day for the Bengali nation. As well as being a poet, he was also a man of very liberal humanity. We all know that human beings are the best creatures. And I also know why human beings are the best creatures. Because in the millions of lives in the living world, only human beings have modern knowledge, intellect, thoughts, feelings, sympathy, kindness, emotion, the power to create something new. Basically for all these qualities man is called the best creature of creation.

But even in the condition of having all these qualities inside man, man cannot apply it properly. Even if he gets the badge of the best creature then he has no value. So people need to follow certain paths to prove their superiority to the world. People have to have certain qualities. However, in order to acquire all these qualities, strict austerities are required. However, only those who can achieve success in this austerity will be able to show excellence.

Let's take a look at what those qualities are -

(1) Honesty: -

Honesty is a great quality. It is very important for a person to have honesty inside. Because one person will trust another only when they find a place of honesty in each other. Honesty breeds faith in people. So if you can achieve honesty, people reach one step ahead of success.

(2) - Patience strength: -

In order to achieve success in life, one has to face many problems from time to time. Because the way to success is very difficult. So never be impatient. Instead, we need to be patient and find a solution to those problems in a cold head. And when there is impatience, weakness is created inside man, as a result of which man comes close to success and becomes defeated.

(3) To fail or to make a mistake:

There is a saying that a new one is born from a mistake. The more mistakes a person makes, the more he can learn. Man can take advantage of himself and for the second time in his life he never makes those mistakes. So even if you make a mistake again and again, you should not stop trying, but keep trying until success comes. If you try this way, you will see that the mistakes have become all right at once. Which helps people succeed.

(4) Hard work: -

Hard work is the key to success. So to achieve something we need to set a goal. And you have to work hard until you reach that goal. Then the race for success can be reached.

(5) Positive thinking: -

Positive thinking provides a kind of energy or recklessness inside a person. As a result, people's ability to work increases and people achieve success quickly. So you should never keep weak thoughts in your mind.

So it is possible to achieve success in life only if you can possess all these qualities. In order to prove ourselves the best to the world, we must acquire all these qualities through rigorous austerities.

মানুষ সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব এটা আমারা সকলেই জানি। আর কেন মানুষ সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব সেটাও জানি। কারন জীব জগৎতের লক্ষ লক্ষ জীবনের ভিতরে কেবল মানুষের ভেতরে রয়েছে আধুনিক জ্ঞান, বুদ্ধি, চিন্তা -ভাবনা,অনুভূতি, সহানুভূতি, দয়া-মায়া, আবেগ, নতুন কিছু তৈরি করার চিন্তা শক্তি। মূলত এই সব গুনের জন্য মানুষকে সৃষ্টির শ্রেষ্ঠ জীব বলা হয়।

কিন্তু মানুষের ভিতরে এই সব গুণ থাকার শর্তেও মানুষ তার সঠিক প্রয়োগ করতে পারে না। তখন শ্রেষ্ঠ জীবের তকমা পেলেও তার কোনো দাম থাকে না। তাই মানুষকে পৃথিবীর কাছে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রমাণ দিতে হলে কিছু নির্দিষ্ট পথ অনুসরণ করা প্রয়োজন । মানুষকে হতে হয় কিছু গুনাবলির অধিকারী। তবে এই সব গুণাবলি অর্জন করতে হলে প্রয়োজন কঠোর তপস্যার। তবে এই তপস্যায় যারা সফল্য অর্জন করতে পারবে শুধু মাত্র তারাই পারবে শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের পরিচয় দিতে।

চলুন দেখে নেওয়া যাক সেই সব গুণাবলি গুলো কী কী-

(১) সততাঃ -

সততা মহৎ গুন। একটি মানুষের ভিতরে সততা থাকাটা অত্যান্ত জরুরি। কারন এক জন মানুষ আরেক জনকে তখনই বিশ্বাস করবে যখন তারা একে অপরের মধ্যে সততার একটা জায়গা খুঁজে পাবে। সততাই মানুষের মধ্যে বিশ্বাসের জন্ম দেয়। তাই সততা অর্জন করতে পারলে মানুষ সাফল্যের এক ধাপ আগে পৌঁছে যায়।

(২)- ধৈর্য শক্তিঃ-

জীবনে সাফল্য অর্জন করতে হলে অনেক সমায় অনেক সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হয়। কারন সাফল্যের পথ অনেকটা কঠিন হয়। তাই কখনো ধৈর্যহারা হলে চলবে না। বরং ধৈর্য ধরে ঠান্ডা মাথায় সেই সব সমস্যার সমাধান খুজতে হবে। আর ধৈর্যহীন হলে মানুষের ভিতরে তৈরি হয় দূর্বলতা যার ফলে সাফল্যের কাছাকাছি এসে মানুষ পরাজয় হয়ে যায়।

(৩) ব্যার্থ হওয়া বা ভুল করা ঃ

কথায় আছে ভুল থেকেই জন্ম হয় নতুনের। যে মানুষ যতো বেশি ভুল করে সে ততো বেশি শিখতে পারে। মানুষ নিজেকে সূদরে নিতে পারে এবং জীবনে দ্বিতীয় বার সে ঐ ভুল গুলো কখনোই করে না। তাই বারবার ভুল হওয়ার শর্তেও চেষ্টা থামালে চলবে না বরং বারংবার চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যেতে হবে যতখন না সাফল্য আসে। এই ভাবে চেষ্টা করতে থাকলে দেখা যাবে ভুল গুলো একসময় সব সঠিক এ পরিনত হয়েছে। যেটি মানুষকে সফল হতে সাহায্য করে।

(৪) কঠোর পরিশ্রম ঃ-

পজিটিভ থিংকিং মানুষের ভিতরে এক ধরনের শক্তি বা উদ্দামের জোগান দেয়। যার ফলে মানুষের কাজ করার শক্তিটা বেড়ে যায় এবং মানুষ তাড়াতাড়ি সফলতা অর্জন করে। তাই কখনোই মনের ভিতরে দূর্বল চিন্তা ভাবনা রাখা উচিৎ নয়।

People are for people and life is for life.

We all know more or less about the taxonomy of biology. In the hierarchy of biology we have seen that one organism survives depending on another organism. This dependence may be partial in some organisms and may be complete in some organisms.

And humans are the highest level animals in the hierarchy. So man has to depend on all the classes of his lower level, man also depends on each other of his own nation. This is why people cannot live alone. Because people are an organized nation, it is not possible for people to live without the cooperation of each other. However, these people are financially divided into several sections within the nation. The financial divisions are such that some people are rich, some are middle class and some are poor. A closer look at these sections reveals that another hierarchy, similar to the hierarchy of Biology , seems to have evolved within the human race. And at the highest level of this hierarchy are the rich, then the middle class and the poor. This aspect of human classification can be clearly understood through a simple example. The example is that we have seen from the experience of our present society that rich people depend on middle class and poor people for their business, office and home. Similarly, middle class and poor people depend on rich people to earn money. Analyzed in this way, it is clear that every class of people is interdependent on every class. People are also professionally dependent on each other. By professional we usually mean a class of people like teachers, lawyers, doctors, engineers etc. So looking at these aspects of human hierarchy, it is seen that one class does not exist without another class. আমরা সবাই জীববিজ্ঞানের শ্রেণীবিন্যাস সম্পর্কে কম বেশি জানি। জীববিজ্ঞানের শ্রেনিবিন্যাসে আমরা দেখেছি যে,একটি জীব অন্য জীবের উপরে নির্ভর করে বেঁচে থাকে। সেই নির্ভরশীলতা কোনো কোনো জীবের ক্ষেত্রে হতে পারে আংশিক আবার কোনো জীবের ক্ষেত্রে সেটি হতে পারে পুরোপুরি নির্ভরশীলতা।

আর মানুষ জাতি শ্রেনীবিন্যাসের সব থেকে উচ্চ স্তরের প্রাণী । তাই মানুষকে তাঁর নিম্ন স্তরের সকল শ্রেণির উপরে নির্ভর তো করতেই হয় এছাড়াও মানুষ নিজ জাতির একে অপরের উপরেও নির্ভরশীল। এই জন্য বলা হয় মানুষ একা বাস করতে পারে না। কারন মানুষ সঙ্ঘবদ্ধ জাতি, একে অপরের সহযোগিতা ছাড়া জীবন ধারণ করা মানুষের পক্ষে সম্ভব নয়। তবে এই মানুষ জাতির ভিতরে আর্থিক দিক থেকে কয়েকটি ভাগে বিভক্ত রয়েছে। আর্থিক ভাগ গুলো হলো যেমন- মানুষের ভিতরে কেউবা ধণী, কেউবা মধ্যবিত্ত আবার কেউবা গরীব হয়ে থাকে। এই ভাগ গুলোকে ভালোভাবে বিশ্লেষণ করলে দেখা যায় যে, জীববিঙ্গানের শ্রেনিবিন্যাসের মতো আর একটি শ্রেণীবিন্যাস যেনো মানুষ জাতির মধ্যে গড়ে উঠেছে। আর এই শ্রেনিবিন্যাসের সব থেকে উচ্চ স্তরে অবস্থান করে আছে ধনী ব্যাক্তিরা তারপরে ধাপে ধাপে মধ্যবিত্ত ও গরীব শ্রেণির মানুষের অবস্থান। মানুষের শ্রেনীবিন্যাসের এই বিষয়টি একটি সহজ উদাহরণের মাধ্যমে স্পষ্ট ভাবে বোঝা যেতে পারে। উদাহরণটি হলো- আমারা আমাদের বর্তমান সমাজের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে দেখেছি যে, ধনী ব্যাক্তিরা তাদের ব্যাবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান, অফিস ও বাড়ির বিভিন্ন কার্য সাধনের জন্যে মধ্যবৃত্ত ও গরীব শ্রেণির মানুষের উপরে নির্ভরশীল। তেমনি মধ্যবিত্ত ও গরীব শ্রেণির মানুষরা অর্থ উপার্জনের জন্য ধনী ব্যাক্তিদের উপরে নির্ভরশীল। এইভাবে বিশ্লেষণ করলে দেখা যায় স্পষ্ট ভাবে এটা বোঝা যায় যে প্রত্যেক শ্রেণির মানুষ প্রত্যেক শ্রেণির উপর পারস্পরিক নির্ভরশীল। এছাড়াও পেশাগত দিক থেকেও মানুষ একে অপরের উপরে নির্ভরশীল। পেশাগত দিক বলতে আমরা সাধারণত শিক্ষক, উকিল, ডাক্তার, ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ইত্যাদি শ্রেণির মানুষদেরকে বোঝায়। তাই মানুষের শ্রনীবিন্যাসের এই দিক গুলো লক্ষ করলে দেখা যায় যে, এক শ্রেণি অন্য শ্রেণি ছাড়া অস্তিত্বহীন। এই জন্য মানষকে নির্ভরশীল জাতি বলা হয়।

তাই আমাদের উচিৎ সকল মানুষকে সমানভাবে সম্মান করা। আমাদের উচিৎ নিজেদের ভিতরে ধনী, গরীবের সীমারেখা না টেনে, কোনো রকমের হিংসা বিদ্বেষ না রেখে একে অপরকে ভালোবাসা। আর একেই বলে প্রকৃত মনুষ্যত্ব।

আজকের শিশু আগামী দিনের জাতির ভবিষ্যত এই কথাটা আমরা সবাই বলে থাকি। কিন্তুএখন প্রশ্ন হলো সত্যিইকি আজকের দিনের শিশুরা অগামী দিনের জাতির ভবিষ্যত হিসাবে গড়ে উঠছে।বর্তমান সমাজে আমরা আমাদের চারিপাশে একটু ভালোভাবে লক্ষ্য করলে,একটা ব্যাতিক্রমী চিত্র দেখতে পাই। আমরা যেটা দেখতে পাই, সেটা হলো আজকালকার শিশুরা তাঁদের শৈশব পার করার পরপরই যখন কৈশোরে বা যৌবনে পা রাখছে, তখনই তারা গতানুগতিকভাবে আসক্ত হয়ে পড়ছে বিভিন্ন ধরনের নেশার কবলে। এর ফলে আজকের যুব সমাজ হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে কোনো এক অন্ধকার দুনিয়ায়। যুব সমাজের এই অবনতির কারণ খুজতে গেলে দুটো ভয়ংকর চিত্র চোখে পড়ে যায়। তার ভিতরে প্রথম যে বিষয়টি চোখে পড়ে সেটি হলো।

বর্তমান সমাজের পরিকাঠামো :

সভ্যতার সৃষ্টির শুরু থেকে বিভিন্ন সমাজ বদ্ধ মানুষের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন সমায় সমাজের পরিকাঠামোর ছোঁয়ায় বিভিন্ন পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করা গেছে। সেই আদিম যুগ থেকে শুরু করে বর্তমান আধুনিক সমাজের রূপান্তর বা অসভ্য শ্রীহীন মানুষ থেকে শুরু করে বর্তমানের সভ্য মানুষ এই সব কিছুই সম্ভব হয়েছে সমাজের পরিকাঠামোর উপরে ভিত্তি করে। আজকে যদিও আমরা আধুনিক সমাজের সভ্য মানুষের তকমা নিয়ে ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছি তবু্ও কোথাও যেনো মনে হয় আমরা আদেও কি আধুনিক সমাজের সভ্য মানুষের ভুমিকা পালন করছি নাকি শুধু সভ্য হওয়ার মুখোস পরে বসে আছি। আজ ভাবতে অবাক লাগে যে, যুব সমাজ এই আধুনিক সমাজের করাল আঘাতে ভুলে যায় জন্মদায়িনী মায়ের স্নেহ ভালোবাসার কথা, তারা ভুলে যায় জন্মদাতা পিতার কঠোর আত্মত্যাগের কথা। তাঁদের নিজেদের ভোগবিলাসীতার বাবা-মাকে মুছে ফেলে তাঁদের মন থেকে। এমনকি বৃদ্ধ মা-বাবার আশ্রয় হয় কোনো বৃদ্ধাশ্রম বা ছাদ হীন কোনো ফুটপাতে। এর পরে যে কথাটি আমাদের মাথায় আসে সেটা হলো আমাদের শিক্ষা।

শিক্ষাঃ

আমরা সকলেই জানি যে, একমাত্র শিক্ষাই পারে কোনো জাতিকে সঠিক পথে চালনা করতে ও প্রকৃত মানুষ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে। কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় এটাই যে, শিক্ষিত মানুষ গুলোই প্রতিনিয়ত এই অন্যায় কাজ গুলো করে চলেছে। তখন ঐ শিক্ষার আর কোনো মূল্য থাকে বলে আমার মনে হয় না, বরং শিক্ষাই কলংকিত হয় এই সমাজের কাছে। তাইতো মনে প্রশ্ন জাগে, বর্তমান এই সমাজ ব্যাবস্থার জন্য কি শিক্ষাই দায়ী? তাহলে কি আজকের দিনে যুব সমাজ পাচ্ছে না প্রকৃত শিক্ষা? আর যদি তাই হয়, তাহলে প্রকৃত শিক্ষা কী, কিভাবে সেটা সবার ভিতরে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া যায়, সেই বিষয়ে আমাদেরকে এখনই সচেতন হতে হবে। আর যুব সমাজকে দেখাতে হবে প্রকৃত আশার আলো। না হলে, আগামী দিনে হয়ে পড়বে মেরুদণ্ডহীন। আর এর প্রভাবে আজকের সভ্যতা আগামী দিনে ধ্বংস স্তূপে পরিনত হবে।

তাই সমাজকে, সভ্যতাকে,যুব সমাজকে এই সংকট থেকে রক্ষা করতে সমগ্র বিশ্বকে একজোট হয়ে গ্রহণ করতে হবে প্রয়োজনীয় সব ধরনের পদক্ষেপ।

But the sad thing is that today I am ashamed to call myself the best creature of creation. Today I think I know why, the biggest mistake of the creator is to create the creature called man.

The Creator may not have realized that this despicable nation called man could one day hand over the midwife (earth) to the rapist to be repeatedly raped. পরম করুনাময় সৃষ্টিকর্তার ( ঈশ্বর) এক বিষ্ময়কর সৃষ্টি হলো আমাদের এই পৃথিবী। কী অদ্ভুত তাইনা! সৃষ্টিকর্তা এই পৃথিবীকে সৃষ্টির সাথে সাথে, এই পৃথিবীকে অপরূপ মাধূর্য্যে সজ্জিত করার জন্য দিয়েছে কিছু বিষ্ময়কর উপাদান। সেই সব উপাদান গুলো হলো যেমন ; গাছ-পালা, পাহাড় -পর্বত, নদী -নালা, সমূদ্র, জল, বায়ু, অরন্য, আলো ইত্যাদি। একজন নারী যেমন তাঁর সৌন্দর্য্যের প্রতি অন্যকে আকর্ষণ করানোর জন্য নিজের শরীরে বিভিন্ন ধরনের অলংকার ধারণ করে, তেমনি পৃথিবীর এই উপাদান গুলো নারীর সেই সব অলংকার থেকে কোনো অংশে কম নয়। তাইতো প্রকৃতি প্রেমিক মানুষগুলো বারবার এই পৃথিবীকে বর্ণনা করতে গিয়ে এক নিষ্পাপ নারীর দৃষ্টান্ত তুলে ধরেছে।

পৃথিবীর এই রূপের বর্ণনা করতে গিয়ে বলা হয়ে উঠেনি সৃষ্টিকর্তার আর একটি বিষ্ময়কর সৃষ্টির কথা। সেটি আর কিছুই নয়, সেটা হলো আমাদের সভ্যতার চাঁকা ঘুরানো প্রাণি " মানুষ জাতি" । সৃষ্টিকর্তা এই মানুষ জাতির ভিতরে দিয়েছেন অনেক গুন, দিয়েছেন সৃজনশীল চিন্তা শক্তি। যার জন্য, আমরা মানুষ জাতি আজ গর্ব করে বলতে শিখেছি " আমরা সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব"। কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় এটাই যে, আজকের দিনে দাড়িয়ে নিজেকে সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব বলতে লজ্জাবোধ হয়। আজ কেনো জানি মনে হয়, মানুষ নামক প্রাণীটিকে সৃষ্টি করা সৃষ্টিকর্তার সবথেকে বড়ো ভুল।

সৃষ্টিকর্তা হয়তো বুঝতে পারেনি যে, মানুষ নামক এই জঘন্য জাতিটি একদিন তাঁদের ধারণকারী মাতৃস্বরূপ ধাত্রীকে ( পৃথিবী ) বারবার ধর্ষিত হওয়ার জন্য ধর্ষকের হাতে তুলে দিতে পারে। সৃষ্টিকর্তা আমাদের সৃষ্টির সময় কোনো রকমের জাত-পাত,ধর্মে বর্ণের ভেদাভেদ করেননি। তিনি বলেননি চিরদিন দূর্বলের উপরে সবলরা অত্যাচার করবে। এটাও বলেননি যে মানুষ মানুষের রক্ত নিয়ে হোলি খেলতে। তারপরেও আমরা এই সব কাজগুলো নিরন্তর করে চলেছি। নিজেদের ভিতরে গড়ে তুলেছি জাতি বিদ্বেষ ভেদাভেদের এক শক্ত প্রাচীর।

যেখানে সৃষ্টিকর্তা এই পৃথিবীটাকে সমস্থ জাতিকে ভোগ করার জন্য গড়ে তুলেছে, সেখানে আমরা এই পৃথিবীটাকে টুকরো টুকরো করে আলাদা আলাদা দেশের সীমারেখা টেনে দিয়েছি। যেখানে সৃষ্টিকর্তা বারবার নতুন প্রাণের জন্ম দিয়ে চলছে, সেখানে আমরা মানুষ জাতি সৃষ্টিকর্তার বিরূদ্ধে গিয়ে নানানরকম মারন অস্ত্র তৈরি করে, সৃষ্টিকর্তার অপমান করে কেড়ে নিচ্ছি তাজা প্রাণ গুলোকে। আর এসব সম্ভব হচ্ছে আমাদের উন্নত মস্তিষ্কের জন্য। মুখে মুখে একটা প্রচলিত কথা আছে, যদি কেউ প্রয়োজনের থেকে বেশি কিছু পায়, তাহলে অনেক সময় সে তাঁর ভিতরে থাকা আপন সত্ত্বাটাকে হারিয়ে ফেলে। ঠিক তেমনি মানুষ তার উন্নত মস্তিষ্কের জন্য আবিষ্কারের নেশায় পাগল হয়ে প্রতিনিয়ত মানুষ মারার ফাঁদ তৈরি করে চলছে। আর নিজের ভিতরে থাকা সত্তাটাকে গলা টিপে হত্যা করে চলেছে। এসবের মধ্যো দিয়ে মানুষ নিজেকে শ্রেষ্ঠ প্রমাণ করার চেষ্টা করলেও দিন শেষে মানুষই বোকামির পরিচয় দিচ্ছে। আজ আমরা মানুষ জাতি পৃথিবীর রূপ লাবণ্য ও সৌন্দর্য্য দানকারী উপাদান গুলোকে প্রতিনিয়ত ধ্বংস করে চলেছি। যেমনটি কোনো দুষ্কৃতি কোনো নারীর শরীর থেকে টেনে ছিড়ে নিচ্ছে তাঁর অলংকার। ঠিক তেমনি আজ আমরা মানুষ জাতি পৃথিবীকে সেই পর্যায়ে নিয়ে এসেছি।

কেনো জানিনা আজ আমার মনে হচ্ছে, মানুষ জাতির মতো জাতি সৃষ্টির জন্য সৃষ্টিকর্তা যে ভুল করেছে, তা আজ সৃষ্টিকর্তা সূদরে নিতে চাইছে। তাইতো আজ পৃথিবীর সমস্ত মানুষ জাতিকে ঘরের কোণে কোণঠাসা করেছে পরম করুণাময়ী সৃষ্টিকর্তা । আর সৃষ্টিকর্তা নিজে তান্ডবকারী মহামারী করোনা ভাইরাসের রূপ নিয়ে, সমস্থ মানুষ জাতির মৃত্যু খেলায় মেতে উঠেছে।

আমরা সবাই জানি যে কোনো মানুষ একা বাস করতে পারে না। সুস্থ জীবন ধারণ ও সমাজে টিকে থাকার জন্য প্রত্যেকটা মানুষের গোষ্ঠি বদ্ধ একটা সমাজে বসবাস করতে হয়। তাছাড়া শুধু গোষ্ঠী বদ্ধ সমাজে বসবাস করলেই যে মানুষ সুস্থ মস্তিষ্কের হয় এমনটাও সম্ভব নয়। তাই মানুষের পাঁচটি মৌলিক চাহিদার ( খাদ্য, বস্ত্র, বাসস্থান, চিকিৎসা, শিক্ষা) সাথে সাথে মনোরঞ্জন এর জন্য প্রয়োজন বিভিন্ন ধরনের আমোদ-প্রমোদ। আর এই আমোদ-প্রমোদ মানুষ সাধারণত পেয়ে থাকে বিভিন্ন ধরনের সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে। আর এই আমোদ-প্রমোদ, সাংস্কৃতির কথা বলতে গেলে আমার সর্বপ্রথম মাথায় আসে একটা অন্যতম জাতির কথা, না অন্য কোনো জাতি নয় সেটা হলো আমার প্রিয় বাঙ্গালী জাতি। হ্যাঁ, বাঙ্গালীরাই তাদের মনোরঞ্জনের জন্য সবথেকে বেশি উৎসবের আয়োজন করে। এরা বছরে তেরো ধরনের উৎসবের আয়োজন করেন। তাইতো এই জাতিকে বলা হয় বারো মাসে তেরো পার্বণের জাতি। এই তেরো পার্বণের ভিতরে সব থেকে জমজমাট অনুষ্ঠানটি হলো দূর্গা পূজো।

এই দূর্গা পূজো অনুষ্ঠানে প্রত্যেকটি বাঙ্গালী জাতি নব রূপে সজ্জিত হয়ে সমস্ত রকমের গ্লানি ভূলে ভেদাভেদ ভূলে একে অপরের আলিঙ্গনের মাধ্যমে নতুনকে আপন করে নেয়। তাছাড়াও রয়েছে কালি পূজো, লক্ষি পূজো, স্বরসতী পূজো, গণেশ পূজো, কার্তিক পূজো ইত্যাদি। এগুলো সাধারণত হিন্দু ধর্ম অবলম্বীদের অনুষ্ঠানের অংশ।

এছাড়াও রয়েছে মুসলিম ধর্ম অবলম্বী ভাইদের ঈদুল ফিতর, সবে বরাত ইত্যাদি। এছাড়া খ্রীস্ঠান ধর্ম অবলম্বীদের বড় দিন ও বৌদ্ধধর্ম অবলম্বীদের বিভিন্ন ধরনের ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান।

১। মাছ; মাছের ভিতরে বলতে গেলে প্রথমেই বলতে হয় ইলিশ মাছের কথা, ইলিশ মাছের মতো সুস্বাদু মাছ হয়তো দ্বিতীয়টা নেই। তাইতো বাঙ্গালীরা এই মাছ দিয়ে অনেক রকমের আইটেম বানিয়ে থাকে যার মধ্যে - শশ্যে ইলিশ, ইলিশ ভাপা এগুলো বিখ্যাত। এছাড়াও রয়েছে রুঁই, কাতলা, চিঁতল, পাপদা, পাতুরি চিংড়ি মাছের মালাইকারী ইত্যাদি। চিংড়ি মাছের মালাইকারী বাঙ্গালীর অতি জনপ্রিয় একটি খাবার ।

২। মাংস; মাংসের ভিতরে কচিঁ পাঁঠার কষা মাংসের কথা না বললে নয়। তারপরে তো মুরগীর মাংস রয়েছেই। মাংসের তৈরি স্পেশাল খাবার বিরিয়ানির কথা না বললে কি চলে।

৩। মন্ডা - মিঠাই ; বাঙ্গালীরা মিষ্টি খেতে খুবই পছন্দ করে। মিষ্টির ভিতরে সব থেকে অন্যতম হলো রসগোল্লা। বাঙ্গালীর এই রসগোল্লা শুধু ভারতবর্ষে নয় পুরো পৃথিবী বিখ্যাত।
