It's been awhile since I've posted but a week and a half ago, the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal aired on various websites such as NicoNico, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. Since I honestly have nothing better to do I like to read YouTube comments and there would be complaints about the art style and the anatomy. Pretty damn hilarious considering it's an anime, since when have anime characters been anatomically correct? I'm honestly not a fan of anime but it's SAILOR MOON, almost everyone's childhood back in the 90's.

The first thing that caught my eye was how vibrant the characters were, and they also kept the watercoloured backgrounds which I thought was a good idea since it gave a dream-like appearance. The music was amazing, it really made everything seem so epic, but I wonder how are they gonna top that piece with future transformations and attacks. My only complaint was the animation. Everything seemed so choppy, it felt like a rushed project and I can honestly say they have no excuse after seriously taking 2 years for this anime to arrive.

What I really hope for is a faster progression, no monster-of-the-day BS. Wikimoon says there will be 26 episodes and it will cover the Dark Kingdom Arc and I was really hoping that it would also cover the Dark Moon Arc because Sailor Moon R was boring as hell no lie.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to the second episode this Saturday which will feature Sailor Mercury! I really hope they show her transformation in this episode because in the manga, Ami was not shown transforming until Act 3, when Rei awakens as Sailor Mars.

I really hope the plot stays true to the manga because if you read it, you will totally see how different it is compared to the old anime. I've been reading scans from Miss Dream's site if anyone's interested, you will totally see how different the manga is!

Perhaps the plot should be completely different from the manga then Naoko Takeuchi would be pissed enough to announce another Sailor Moon anime in the next 20 years. :)

Aion Ascension

Yay, something really exciting is happening on Wednesday..

Aion will be updating to 3.0!

The game has went Free-to-Play a few days ago. I saw some old faces and I have to tell you, I was really happy. I hope they will stay now that there aren't any restrictions to playing =)

There are a few new features that I'm really about such as:

Mounts - I can't wait to ride on a cloud and pretend that I'm Goku!
Housing System - This is like implementing The Sims into the game, I don't think there are any benefits other than more storage but if you're a billionaire, does money really matter?
New Skills - They also balanced a few old skills, but I still think Rangers are overpowered. We need more petitions to nerf them!
New Instances - I've already set up a static group of 12 for this awesome instance coming out. The only reason I'm forming this is cause of the *kawaii* headgears!

I really can't wait for this update to arrive, just four more days =)

Disaster

I can't fathom why my mom brought her "freelancer" boyfriend to live with us. They have been dating for only a month and this is going way too fast for me. I don't believe in freelancers, especially ones that look like hobos (sorry but you really do). When I first met him, the first thing that went in my head was "you serious..? are you sure it's not the guy behind him? (lol)". He can't even wash the dishes properly, why doesn't he doesn't notice the stench roaming out of the plates? Learn to use soap, god. It's only been a day and I'm already going insane. I swear, I bet he swooned my mom into making her want him to live with us.. disgusting. I don't know what he said, and I don't wanna know but, i want him OUT.

He's probably only living with us cause he's not making any money from his "freelancing". I have a feeling this is not gonna end well, I really don't trust him, I feel like one day I'll come home and everything's gone.

And NO, I am not judging him because he's Muslim, only the way he dresses. He looks like a drug dealer, specifically, he really looks like a dehydrated Jesus Christ and no lie it really scares me. What's he doing right now? He's watching TV in my mom's room. I won't be surprised if that's what he does tomorrow, or the day after, or the week after considering he's a freelancer.

I'm glad my mom is happy, I'd be even more happier if she quit smoking but there's something about him that makes me think that he won't stay. I hope my mom realizes that she doesn't want a freeloader living in so she can force him to live by himself. I can't wait to live by myself so I wouldn't have to deal with this.

My friend and I are planning to live together so we wouldn't have to suffer with our ~asian~ parents, and I'm also taking my dogs too! I hope he will prove me wrong and actually support my mom financially and emotionally (she's a mess, seriously). Mom, if you're reading this which I HIGHLY doubt, but if you somehow stumble into this blog post, I wanna say I'm sorry for not saying this to your face since I don't have the balls to do it.

Total Time: 12 1/2 hrs

When it comes to lineart, I just get bored so easily cause I'm drawing the SAME model twice. It's very normal for me to take this long, I wish I had the attention span of some other artists, then I would've posted this sooner. I think I made an improvement compared to my previous work, I guess all that widget making and makeup applying paid off.

Stupid Music Video

I've seen a lot of stupid music videos, but this one takes the cake.

Did you watch it? Welcome back. If not, this is what this video is all about: This kid finds a photo on the floor of some girl, picks it up and INSTANTLY falls in love. He then starts roaming around the mall checking girls out to see if it's the same girl in the photo. Everytime he checks a girl out, he smiles at them. Uhhh, creep much? if I were one of those girls I would've given him a disgusted look right back. Anyway, he becomes extremely desperate and gets his geek friend to hack the mall's system (probably knows NOTHING about hacking irl) and now all the televisions have his Australian face all over and he tells the girl in a note to meet him at the theater. Great, as if seeing his face in ONE monitor is bad enough, imagine hundreds lol. In the end, she eventually shows up at the theater and they live happily ever after... Yay!

To the director of this music video, what the hell was going through your head? You think that girls are stupid enough to meet some desperate creep at the mall? Who knows, what if that kid was working with some pedophile and they kidnap that poor girl at the theater. She probably died because in his next music video it's a completely different girl. Fresh meat for his pedophile friend.

I've noticed that a lot of Youtube comments don't even mention how creepy this is. Probably because I'm not a teenage girl who's into lesbian-looking boys. I guess these girls believe that some good-looking guy would actually go through so much for someone they don't even know. Sorry, not gonna happen, keep dreaming dingbats.

Feeling Not-So Lucky on St. Patrick's Day

Okay, more like feeling not-so lucky on St. Patrick's Eve (if that makes sense). I've been having such terrible luck yesterday. So my friends and I went to the food court (same place where I got harassed by that old hag; Luckily she wasn't there or I'd show her some real elder abuse LOL) and I ordered Shanghai Noodles with 18 pcs of California Rolls since my stomach is made out of steel. Anyway while we were eating, all of the stores were closing down and I noticed there was a freaking bug on my noodles. I couldn't even send it back, the store was completely closed. It's like they wanted to sabotage my food and get away with it. Is it just me or do Chinese people really really hate me? Aghhh.

I ended up throwing away the noodles (goodbye $6, thanks a lot) and grabbed my California Rolls. I open my box and I was flabbergasted because there were 4 pieces of hair on my GODDAMN FOOD... Not just one, but FOUR. Wow, did that old lady set a curse on me or some sort of Mulan BS? Wth. Whenever I go out, I don't eat anything so I can pig out at the restaurant, but I couldn't because of all these outrageous events happening to me!

My friends felt bad so they got me ice cream from McDonald's. While we were walking out and yours truly enjoying her dessert, my coat gets caught by the glass door causing my ice cream to drop on the floor. Wow, are you freaking kidding me? This can't get any worse.

Brian wanted to buy a plant for his room so we all went to Home Depot. After he got his goddamn plant, we went back to the car and placed it next to me with the seat belt on so that it doesn't spill. While driving, the idiot drives ferociously and unknowingly (he says, but doubt that) hits a speed bump which caused the the plant to jump out of the seat belt and spill all over my lap. FML seriously..

We all wanted to watch 21 Jump Street and since it was the first day, we had to get the tickets an hour early. But guess what? Traffic. We ended up being 15 mins early but the tickets were sold out. It was fine, if 21 Jump Street wasn't available then we would watch Project X instead but Project X was sold out as well. What a terrible day, just wasted my money..

TL;DR
Cockroach in my noodles, hair in my California rolls, ice cream dropped on the floor, soil all over my lap, and sold out movie tickets.

Respecting elders, should you really?

My friends and I were undecided on where to eat so we ended up going to the food court since there's so much variety there. While we were eating, some old Chinese woman who is being carried by her sons (I think) sat next to us. My friend rolled her eyes because there were so many available tables, but I really didn't mind it since they weren't doing any harm. As I was eating, I noticed that she couldn't stop staring at me. Then suddenly, she starts speaking to my friend in Cantonese asking why is she hanging out with me. She turns to me and asks if I was Japanese, it went downhill from that moment on.

My friend told me not to answer her, so I didn't. She gets even louder and then asks why I'm eating Chinese food and that I should be eating Japanese food. No eye contact was made, I couldn't look straight at her old and decaying face. Something was wrong, why couldn't I answer back? I was probably too afraid to answer back because I'd probably get arrested for elder abuse. lol

Anyway, she gets even louder and starts asking why I'm hanging out with Chinese people. I really didn't know what to say. She looked so harmless when I first saw her, but she's actually vicious I tell you, VICIOUS!! Her family didn't even do anything to stop her, they probably hated the Japanese too. All they did was continue devouring their noodles like animals.

It was a good thing my friend was there to stop her, otherwise I'd still listening to her annoying dying voice and asking the same goddamn question over and over again until they left. I was always told to respect my elders, no matter what. Her reason to why she hates the Japanese is not a mystery, most likely it's because the Japanese massacred the Chinese during World War 2. Get over it, it's been decades, not everyone is the same so for her to judge me is just so ridiculous.

She can go continue being ignorant racist person and to be honest, I feel sorry for her. Unlike her, I can walk; I don't need to be carried by 2 Chinese men looking stupid because they can't afford a wheelchair. She probably deserved it.

After what happened yesterday, I'm not gonna give a rat's ass whether someone's old or not. I don't believe in this biased BS that you should be more respectable just because they're old as hell. I got harassed at a food court, a food court. It was great no one else heard what was going on otherwise it'd be one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. This is the first and last time I'll ever let a dinosaur-aged person harass me. Oh and to all you readers out there, don't judge a book by it's cover!

19 Kids and Counting... seriously?

After watching one episode of 19 Kids and Counting, I honestly couldn't finish it, there were way too many kids.. it's like watching a human breeding farm. LOL

I highly doubt they wouldn't make this many children if it wasn't for all that publicity. You and I both know that viewers always want more of something and you know what they do to keep their viewers? They pop more goddamn kids. (Yeah I said goddamn, I'm going to "hell".)

I don't care what you believe in, I really don't. Just don't shove your religion down my throat and hope that I'll convert. The majority of Christians I meet drive me insane, always trying their best to convince me that God is the answer to everything, but honestly, there is so much content in the Bible that I just don't agree with. Like I've said so many times, I don't believe in fairy tales.

I found out during the Anderson show that Michelle Duggar had a miscarriage and the family decided to post a picture of their dead child. You really think that's a form of grieving? more like being an attention whore. That's like saying, "Oh hey, my son fell in a giant blender, I should post a picture of his mutilated body so that I could get some form of sympathy". Sorry, not gonna work for me. You're 45 and you decide to make more kids, but why? Oh right, because children are a blessing from God and 19 kids isn't enough for you.

Their last child before their 20th was premature and it almost died. Isn't that a sign? or did God tell you to make more? Realize that you're 40+ and having more kids will not go so well for you such as more miscarriages.

Enter Key, y u no work?

Yesterday I had to update my Firefox so that I could try out AngryBirds on G+ to see what all the hype is about.

The strangest thing happened after I installed Firefox 10, PUSHING THE ENTER KEY DOESN'T WORK ON THE ADDRESS BAR. I was forced to click on that stupid tiny arrow every time I typed in an address. I'd rather have a busted up address bar on Firefox than use Internet Explorer LOL, oh god that browser is a joke.

I've tried googling for answers and many of them said to remove the Silverlight Add-on, however, doing so was not successful for everyone else who experienced the same problem. Ugh.

So, after countless minutes of playing around with Firefox Tools, I started to lose hope, but then...

I FIXED IT!! I CAN STOP CLICKING THAT STUPID BUTTON!

I felt so amazing, someone with little to no experience with browsers could actually fix such an inconvenience!

Now, for those of you who are still experiencing the same ridiculous problem, I have the solution for you.

DISCLAIMER: Like I said above, I have little to NO experience with browsers so if this causes your computer to be flooded with viruses, I'm really sorry!

It's pretty simple and quick, it'll only take you at least a minute to complete.

STEP 1.
Press Ctrl+Shift+A to open the Add-on page but if your keys are busted for some reason (probably from nerd raging) then click Tools then Add-ons.

STEP 2.With the Add-ons Manager opened, click on the Extensions tab and search for the AVG Safe Search 10.0.0.1423 extension in the list and click Disable.

And voila, you're done!

The only problem with this is that this extension protects your from clicking on malicious links, so if you're not okay with disabling this, you can always downgrade the version of the extension. I'm sure the enter key will be functional under the address bar, but if you're still experiencing problems, try re-installing or download Google Chrome, it's just as great!

Aion: Rally the Troops

Since yesterday, Aion (currently Pay-to-Play MMORPG) has been hosting the "Rally the Troops" event.

This event will encourage new players and hopefully old players to play the game because it will be Free-to-Play for two weeks!

Not only this, but all players will be receiving double Experience Points, 30% more Abyss Points and Crucible Insignias. New players will be able to level to 40 instead of 20, and returning/current players have a chance to receive Relics and Medals from mobs at Abyss Fortresses.

If you decide to subscribe to the game before March 12, you will get a free Daevanion Set based on your class!

In the Spring, which is very soon, Aion will be updating from 2.7 to 3.0 which means a lot of more new and amazing content. Also, when Aion 3.0 becomes live in the main servers, the game will permanently become Free-to-Play! which means that I can use the extra $15 USD on make-up/clothes!

At first, I was upset that Aion was going Free-to-Play because I was afraid of the game being published by a different company but thankfully it won't, yay!

What I really like about this game is the amazing graphics! Aion definitely wins as one of the best graphics in a MMORPG in my book. I've spent countless hours taking pictures of my avatar in certain locations because the detail in the scenery is so magnificent.

What I love most about this game is the character customization; you have the freedom to make your character look like anything you want! It can look like a celebrity, a friend, a family member, or even you! Almost everyone in-game is unique looking, the only time where people look the same is if the player selected one of the default looks.

Chocolate Disco

Yesterday was an exciting day, you know why? My package arrived!

I ordered a pair of brown circle lenses from PinkyParadise, which is a very popular online cosmetic store. The site is very reliable, I've purchased circle lenses from them for months!

I really like brown lenses compared to the other colours cause they are more fitting for me since my eyes are naturally brown.

There are different kinds of brown circle lenses but the one I specifically purchased was the Geo Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown!

The original is the AngelColor Bambi Series in Chocolate designed by my idol, Tsubasa Masuwaka~

Everytime I read a review on these lenses they ALWAYS call it Geo Bambi Chocolate Brown, it drives me insane! If you're gonna call it by its manufacturer, at least get the product name right. Princess Mimi is Geo and Bambi is Angelcolor!

Anyway, enough of my pet peeve, here are some pictures!

Notice how the vile is still sealed, that's how "fresh" it was when I took the picture.

Lenses taken out and stored in a case! Looks like a pair of eyeballs.

Lashes I'm wearing.

Comfort: 7/10. I've been wearing them for 6 hours yesterday and they were super comfortable on my right eye, but it sometimes felt like the lenses were poking me on my left eye. I think it's because I didn't pour enough solution on the lenses before I wore them.

Enlargement: 9/10. Makes your eyes so big, similar to a baby or a doll. This is definitely a great pair of lenses if you want to look like a doll!

Colour: 7/10. It doesn't look nice with natural lights imo, as if your pupils are sinking.. The colour is much more vibrant with a lot more lighting (flashes/ring lights).

OVERALL: 8/10. They definitely compliment my false eyelashes. I still prefer the Princess Mimi Almond Brown lenses because they are more natural. I would most likely wear this again for dolly looks. Awesome and highly recommended lenses! Thank you Chris :B

Two terrible movies... in a row!

A few days ago, my friends and I went to the theatres to watch this "scary" film, The Woman in Black.

It's about a lawyer (Harry Potter, lol) who is assigned to visit this house and everytime he spots the woman in black around the house, a random child becomes possessed by her and commits suicide. Why does she go after innocent children? No, not because she's a pedophile, it's because her own child was accidentally killed.

This film reminds me a lot like The Ring and The Grudge put together. You may not think so from what was typed above because I don't like to spoil. You need to watch this movie to understand what I'm saying when I compare this with the other 2 epic horror movies.

I admit, I had my head turned, an eye peeking, and my ears covered anxiously waiting for the pop out scenes to arrive, but in all honesty, it's not a scary movie. It doesn't make me stay up all night thinking that the woman in black is at a dark corner viciously staring at me. Sorry.

OVERALL: 6/10. Lots of startling scenes, like a lot, recommended for people who like that. If you wanna be spooked for life (or for like a week or 2) then this movie is not for you.

The second movie we watched right after was Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and I have to tell you I almost LEFT after watching the first 30 minutes because it was that bad..

Just because it looks good, doesn't mean it IS good.

All this movie contained was special effects and Nicholas Cage laughing his ass off almost every 10 minutes. The acting was terrible, the comedy was terrible, and the story is guess what? terrible. You're better off watching Transformers if you're into special effects and a crappy plot.

OVERALL: 2/10. So so so BAD! Just as bad as Battle: LA.

Most, rather, all sequels are inevitably worse than their predecessors. A sequel is most likely made due to fan-base, I mean look at Matrix 2 or Spider Man 3.. wtf was that?

I am so glad we snook in to watch this lame-ass corny movie because the only thing that was wasted during that day was my time just like you who is actually taking the time to read this. :B

Pregnancies and Marriage

16 and Pregnant.. you know, ever since this show aired on MTV, I would never miss one episode. I don't need to explain what it's about because of the super obvious title. Anyway, what I've noticed in almost every episode which drives me insane is that the boyfriend would propose to his baby's mother. I mean, why? cause she's holding your baby? You don't need to get married because of that. These couples don't even know what they want, they always talk about their dreams and how they'll be so successful in life when they wind up waking up at 4 in the morning taking care of their child and failing their classes. I just feel that just because a couple is expecting a child together, doesn't mean you need to get married unless you truly love that person.

I swear, teenagers should think twice before having sex. Use a damn condom, pills, whatever else you need to use to prevent pregnancy because having a child at a young age will change your life. Ugh, did you learn ANYTHING in Sex Ed?

I also don't see why getting married is a good decision for the child, everyone thinks that.. they can still support the child without having going through all these arrangements.

Marriages should never be forced; you should be in love, yes in love to get married. There is a high chance that the marriage will not work out in the long run.

If you people think it's necessary to get married cause you have a child together, then go ahead. Don't blame me for wasting your money on marriage licenses and divorce papers. LOL

I am so sick of people giving their loved ones flowers for Valentine's Day. I mean, why give flowers? they're just gonna rot in your vase. Flowers are just for "I'M SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME" gifts and funerals. You think dying flowers look appealing when you have visitors over? No.

Oh, how pretty~

The number one activity to do together is to watch a romantic movie. Yeah yeah, very cliche BUT this means you have an hour or two to not listen to them ranting about their problems unless they talk non-stop during a movie. You're screwed, sorry!

Cooking dinner is another cliche but it can also save some money. If you're a terrible cook, don't worry, use Google. Google solves all your problems!

If you want a great gift for a girl, you should give her loads of makeup~ Makeup covers up insecurities and makes you even prettier! and doesn't it feel good when your lover tells you that you're pretty? I'm so smart.

For guys, just give them a v-day card that they'll probably throw away and/or sex lol. Since men think with their penis, take advantage of this day by giving them some loooove. Congrats, you just saved yourself 80 bucks! you're welcome.

If you're alone, just bring a friend to the movies. The Vow is playing in theaters and I'm 100% sure every couple will be lining up to see this tomorrow.

I visited my friend's place and we started surfing through channels, and we stumbled across the PBS channel. The show that was airing was Inside Nature's Giants and it's pretty obvious what this show is about. If you don't know from the self-explanatory title, this isn't your typical Discovery documentary where you watch how animals mate and kill each other, this show studies the anatomy of these giant animals through dissection. In last night's episode, The Big Cats, experts took in a Lion and Tiger, skinned them, and proved how the two are anatomically very similar. Also, the anatomists show how the animals use their tendons expose their claws when needed.

Pretty cool, right?

I apologize for the horribly drawn image (looks like a foot with leprosy -_-). There were a few scenes in the episode that were imo, pretty inappropriate, such as stuffing a tube up the lion's larynx and blowing air so that it would make sounds and also jerking the larynx so that it would make different tones. I hope these animals that were taken in naturally died and not killed for the sake of the experiment otherwise that would be SICK ><. This show is very interesting but I warn you, it's extremely graphic. You can also watch these episodes on Youtube under the channel DocumentaryStream. Enjoy!

I am Shiho-Yueh and I created this blog a few months back, and now I've decided to actually update it with stuff that interests me.

Anyway, I'd like to share what I got a few days ago...

Yes, it's Soul Calibur 5 Collector's Edition for PS3! I preordered it from BestBuy for $74.99 CDN so that I could get DLC (Downloadable Content) Character Dampierre.

Inside the case is a dirty looking book, you wouldn't want to pick it up if you saw it placed in a bookshelf (lol) BUT when you open it~ TADA

That disc is actually not the game itself, it's the making of the game and the right side is the art book and behind it is the game.

At the end of the art book is a soundtrack attached, however, only 5 tracks from the game are included. The rest of the songs are from the previous series.

She's a pretty badass character and what I like about her most is that her style is most likely Gyaru inspired.

...the nails, the long eyelashes, nude pink lips, pretty blonde hair.. definitely Gyaru inspired. +__+

THE GAME ITSELF~

Gameplay: 10/10. This improved so much with the new Guard Burst, Brave Edge, Critical Edge, Just Guard features. Fighting is so much faster compared to the previous games and you can stir up some amazing combos with Brave Edges.

Story Mode: 6/10. Way too short imo and it was only focused on 2 characters. In the previous games, you can choose any character in Story Mode but here, only 1. I finished it in like an hour or two including cutscenes, so yeah, pretty short =__=. You don't fully know the story of EVERY character in the game which is a shame because I would love to know a bit more personal details about certain characters.

Graphics: 10/10. I really love the graphics in this one, they did a really good job with the stages and characters!

Music: 8/10. They're great but not as great as Soul Calibur 3 and 4. My favourite tracks are Faster Than a Howling Wind, Daybreaker, Invincible Blade and Guest Character Ezio and his theme, Venice Rooftops SCV Mix

OVERALL: 10/10. I will ALWAYS give the Soul Calibur series a perfect overall score unless it there were many disappointments. Yeah yeah, very biased but whatever >.< The only complaint I have with this game is the VERY short story and no Team Battles!! Other than that, this game never fails to impress me!
