A Guide to Color Balance

As I was writing in my first post, I will be posting some useful guides just for the sake of content, but of course I will ensure the quality of all this guides haha. This week I will cover the basics of color balance in Photoshop CS 5.5

Ever got those photos which look way too pale, or way too yellow for your liking. If you have photoshop, you could easily edit these photos to your liking! Of course you could just press Shift+Ctrl+B to do the nifty ~~auto color function~~, but sometimes it just would not work as you like :( Don't worry, I have a simple solution to this problem.

Step 1: Open up your not so great looking photo
Step 2: Go to the 'Image' tab then 'Adjustments' and select 'Color Balance' from the drop down menu, or the much easier way, press Ctrl+B .

Step 3: Now you can fool around with the sliders! Until you get your desired effect. If you feel that the sliders aren't giving much impact, you can go ahead and select highlights from the tone balance and fool with the sliders again!

Step 4: And you are done! You can go ahead and upload to Facebook or Twitter now xD.

The Year of the Dragon part2

Nian Chu Er (Second day) Well, because my dad would be going back to work on the next day, we made the decision to go back to Melaka for ~~one day~~... well, more like HALF A DAY. Went there to just accompany my grandmother and grandfather. Started our journey at 7am. Had a pretty terrible breakfast there since most of the stalls that sell delicious goodies was not in operation. Lunch was not what I would usually eat but the homemade cooking of my grandfather and grandmother are AWESOME as always, we departed at about 4pm! Later that day at 8pm, Mom, sis and me went to Leisure Mall. First thing I noticed was most of the shops are still closed ... and GSC was flooding with people ... My god. Bought a Starbucks card as a birthday gift for my friend BUT I think I will be using it for the meantime.

Nian Chu San (Third day) Dad started working again, but fortunately he closed his shop early so my family could go and grab some dinner together at Mid Valley! Well because of my ngan fa dad, we got some ~~wrong orders~~ haha. The silver lining to all this is that the food was actually still enjoyable haha.

We later went lurking around the mall. I was hunting for my ODM watch but can't seem to find it :( but mom said she would buy it online instead *yay*.

The Year of the Dragon part1

Since I'm reviving this blog in the midst of the Chinese New Year, so I will blog about stuff related to this festive season.

To my international friends, I will give a short introduction about the Chinese New Year! The year 2012 is the lunar year of the Dragon! In chinese mythology, this being is said to be an honorable creature which wields a lot of power! Want to know more? Check out the video I did for my school!

Hmm where should I start ... Okay lets start with the shopping part before Chinese New Year! I remember I did some last minute shopping with my mom. Bought 3 checkered shirts, a pair of pants, and a pair of shoes! Why 3 checkered shirts? Well because everywhere is literally selling checkered shirts only. Damn! That is the bad part of last minute shopping .. no time to search for alternatives. But nevermind, they look pretty good.

*fast forward sound* So its the Chinese New Year's Eve already! Reunion dinner was different than every other year, because my relatives were absent this time! Why? No idea, but who cares. As long I can eat happily with my family, that is all that matters. Steamboat as usual, but much more stuff to eat compared to previous years! Too bad I did not take photos of the dinner :(

Nian Chu Yi (First Day of CNY) - First day ... that means ... ITS TIME FOR RED PACKETS (ANGPAU) !!! The first two I received was of course from my parents, followed by those uncle auntie who came and visit us. One of my relative was exaggerating about her children all the time when she was at my house. Well here are some interesting quotes.
"My son is always surrounded by girls" *Looks at cousin, and feel like vomitting*
"My children are only friends with rich people" Now I see why I don't get along with them xD
There are a lot more but I don't feel like typing them all haha.
After everyone was done chatting at my house, we all went and visit another of my dad's friend. It took pretty long because the Lion Dance was delayed by the rain! When the lion dance finally started, everyone was like 'Oh I wanna touch the lion's head' except me *too much logic sense in my head to believe this anymore*

Happy Chinese New Year! :)

Hello guys. I'm officially reviving this blog just for the sake of fun haha. I plan to post most of my photos up here and who knows maybe one day this blog could be my very own portfolio! :) I also plan to post some guides about the basics of Photoshop and Sony Vegas just to bring in much more page views! and like every blogger does, I will blog about the interesting parts of my life! How to play RawrMS :D

This is a guide to playing my new MS server :D

1.Download the needed files
- MapleGlobal v83
- Rawr MS v83 : RAPIDSHARE | MEDIAFIRE
- LogMeIn Hamachi v2: DOWNLOAD (Note: Download the one on the left)

2.After installing MapleStory v83, put Rawr MS v83.exe into your MapleStory directory (normally C:\Program Files\WIZET\MapleStory)

NOTE: The client does not work with MapleSEA

3.Install Hamachi also. After finish installing click join existing server and type in network name: RawrMapleDev . If need password its 12345

4.Register an account by going to this address : RawrMS site (NOTE only works when im online)

5. If there are any problems, contact me

Call Of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer Offline Bots + Zombie Mode Fix

Since many people had been asking I decided to make a post about how to play Black Ops offline with Bots + Zombie Fix

If you don't have Black Ops yet: Call of Duty - Black Ops by SKIDROW

Steps:
1.1- Download all the files :D
a.COD.BO latest update by SKIDROW
b.ZombieModeFix
c.OfflineBots

1.2- Apply the Latest Update. Next put the BlackOps.exe in your game directory. Lastly copy everything in the OfflineBots folder which is the players folder, BlackOpsMP.exe and Steamclient.dll to (C:\Program Files\Activison\Call Of Duty - Black Ops\)

2.1- Start Single Player so it creates a folder called 'Players', then exit.
2.2- Start the MultiPlayer and exit after it says that it can’t connect to the black ops server.
2.3- Go to your Black ops folder and find the 'config_Mp.cfg" in C:\Program Files\Activison\Call Of Duty - Black Ops\Player
2.4- Open config_Mp.cfg in notepad.

3.Add the lines below in config_Mp.cfg
seta scr_bot_difficulty "normal"
seta scr_bots_managed_all "19"
seta scr_bots_managed_spawn "19"
bind ,"scr_bots_managed_all 19"
bind ."scr_bots_managed_spawn 19"

4.Save config_Mp.cfg and make it read only (right click it then tick read only)

5.Start BlackOpsMP. You will hang for a few seconds and a message will popup saying that it can't connect to Server

6.Now press the ~ key (it's beside 1 if your blind)

7.Start the game by writing "/map xx_xxxxxx" with the xx_xxxx being the map name. (ex. /map mp_nuked)

1. Extract ItsModsloader.rar and you will get a folder named ItsModsloader
2. Run ItsModsloader.exe and then start BlackOpsMP.exe
3. Tada ! you have killstreaks enabled.

NOTE: Will add a guide on how to edit classes and killstreaks soon because the current weapon list website is down.
