Movie Review : Footloose (2011)

First of all, thank you UIP Singapore and OMY.sg for the invitation to watch the preview of Footloose (2011) on 24th October 2011.

The movie started at 7PM at Cathay Cineleisure. I was allowed to bring a friend along to the preview. The movie was shown for 113 min which was nearly 2 hours!

Here's the plot of the movie:

After a group of teens die in a car crash, the southern town of Bomont outlaws dancing and loud music. 3 years later, Boston boy Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) has moved into the burg, finding only frustration at the town's draconian ordinances and general narrow-mindedness. While he is attracted to the preacher's daughter Ariel Moore (Julianne Hough), she is already the girlfriend of the town bully as well as under the thumb of her father, the stern Reverend Moore (Dennis Quaid)

The story happened in a very peaceful town. How peaceful? You will get a summon if your vehicles come out with loud noise. You will also get summon if you don't behave nicely and speak bad words. It's such a peaceful place! Teenagers must be at home before midnight, and the youngsters are banned from dancing due to the car crash tragedy in the town. However, Ren who just came from Boston wanted to change rules in the town where dancing should not be banned. Will he manage to fight for the right of the teenagers? Catch the movie then :)

Perhaps it's the culture in the western, apparently every teenagers love dancing and they can really dance! Once the music is turned on, everybody can dance nonstop. You can expect a lot of dancing scenes in the movie. You will even feel like dancing along with them. If you love watching this type of movie, go for the new Footloose! Perhaps you will have ideas on how to dance.

Apparently the main actor & actress - Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough, they are dancers in real life. Let me share with you some personal info of these two young people:

Kenny Wormald began dancing at the age of 6 after his mom saw him dancing to a New Kids On The Block video, and won numerous competitions: At eleven he won the Master Dance of New England, at thirteen Junior Mr. Dance of New England, Teen Dancer of Boston at fourteen, and Teen Mr. Dance of New England at fifteen. He was in a relationship with Ashley Roberts of the Pussycat Dolls for 3 years.

Julianne Hough's first job was a dancer on the ABC game show "Show Me the Money" (2006). She then went on tour as a company dancer with Dancing with the stars and joined the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" (2005/I) in season four. Julianne is also known as a country singer. She released her debut album in 2008, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Country Album chart and #3 on the Billboard 200. Her first acting role was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) at age 13. She is appearing in her first lead role in Footloose (2011).

It was yesterday that I googled for this song on Youtube. I didn't know it's actually sing by Selena Gomez as I only get to hear it over the radio. I was quite surprised to know it's Selena's song. Though she is so much younger than me, I have to say that she can really sing, sing so well :)

Malaysia's fastest mobile network - Maxis

See! I have got myself a Maxis mobile broadband. It is not the power of advertising because I have already purchased it 2 days before I saw the ads.. lol!

I used to be a Digi's subscriber back in Jan 2010, unfortunately its service wasn't up to my expectation because there wasn't 3G service in my housing area. I needed to wait and wait and wait for all the pages to load, and it took so long to load a simple game. I could hardly play a game with Digi, that's bad.

So now, I have turned to Maxis. The dealer told me it has 3G service for my housing area. Well, it's proven Maxis has faster speed and the 3G service is under satisfaction.

With RM100, I received one wireless modem. I could choose not to pay this RM100 if I already have another modem at home. Yes, I do have previous Digi's modem, however that modem seems a bit low quality. Better get a new one!

The broadband package that I have signed on is 3GB, which is RM68 per month. Last time, I paid RM58 for the Digi poor broadband service.

I was quite happy and satisfied with Maxis's service for the first week after the purchase. However, it has let me down again later on. Why? Because I have reached the 3GB quota! It's just like in a week or two, the quota has reached. Maxis gives you two choices, one is to top up to purchase additional quota. Option two is to go online with the reduced speed, which is the option that I choose now.

So now I go online with a slow speed just like there isn't 3G service, totally similar with the experience that Digi gave me last time. Gosh......! *waiting .. waiting .. and waiting.. * The 3GB quota will only be refreshed middle of the month.

I wonder how much of money do I need to pay for a reasonable good broadband service in Malaysia?

Google Adsense

It's been so long that I did not update this blog.

I guess my passion towards blogging has gradually turned down? I find myself not having much fun blogging nowadays. It might because of Google, who has suspended my Adsense in earlier April.

Losing Adsense means a lot to me. I used to earn good income from Google Adsense and managed to receive pay cheque quite frequent.

Who the hell that tricked me up? Who was the bastard that played a fool on my blogs that clicked few hundred times on those Google ads? Madness! I was so upset on that, and I think I am still feeling upset now!

Since then, I don't really love to blog. I was so faithful to Google Adsense but what's the point now? :( Though this incident has already happened for a couple of months, I don't think I will forget about it.

Will miracle happen? Will I get back my Google Adsense account? Perhaps I should whisper to Santa Claus end of this year, hoping that my simple wish will be granted. :)

I had never fancy blogs that are in black. For me, black blogs represent sadness, loneliness and hopeless. Black blog is a good place to hide one's emotion because everything is uncertain and unclear in darkness.

However, just yesterday, I made my own blog to be in black. And you should know what does it mean.

It is a black May for me, and it still goes on.

I wonder when can I get rid of it....Life is not as good as ever, but it still needs to go on.

I wonder how other overcome the toughest part of their life. What do they do? How do they cheer up themselves? How do they be mentally strong?

Watched this wonderful movie in April. Didn't expect it to be this good. Thought it is another typical love story, but who knows it touches my heart.

If you know Chinese, here's the plot of the movie. Perhaps you can translate to English using Google if you don't know Chinese.

Seriously I really like the story . I like the character of the actress where she seems to be a bit silly but sincere. I can see myself in her. Somehow, I think she is way better and luckier than me. She lost her boyfriend and she met another guy. This guy - Daniel has actually helped her to overcome the hardest part after losing her boyfriend. He encouraged her and gave her hands to pull her up from the sadness. The strength is very important. Louis, another guy that worked at the opposite building has also cheered her up using many note pads.

If you have not watched this movie yet, try to look for a way to watch it, it is really good. I hope to watch it again.

I must be strong like the girl in the movie, but I know it's not easy, especially when you have no one to give you extra strength. Perhaps I should listen more to Katy Perry's Firework or read more articles that can motivate.

Phuket Simon Cabaret show [22 February 2011]

If you have been to Phuket, you should know the famous show in town - Phuket Simon Cabaret!

Fortunately, I had the chance to catch this show when I was in Phuket last February :)

For those who have not been to Phuket, Simon Cabaret is probably the biggest "transvestite" cabaret show to be found in Phuket. This show features a spectacular musical floor show performed by the world famous "ladyboys" of Simon Cabaret.

Full with tourists, guess Simon Cabaret show is now one of the top attractions in Phuket.

After the show ends, these ladyboys will stand in a row and ask for photograph. Ya, you will be asked to pay them tips if you go over for the photo shoot. They only ask for tips after taking the photo. Quite tricky like those that I met on Bangla Street!

Okay, wait no further! Let's watch the show!

The audiences are STRICTLY not allowed to take any photos inside. No photos, no video.

The show started at 11PM Phuket time, I enjoyed watching it very much. The performers all look stunning with gorgeous costumes. But of course you can see some of them are still having the 'male faces' because they are all ladyboys. Some of the performers must have gone through serious plastic surgery because they look exactly like female! I can't believe that they are actually transformed from the male.

An overview of the audience shows guests from around the world. Each night at 19.30 and 21.30 tour buses and minivans unload people from Taiwan to England all eager to see the magic that Simon Cabaret offers.

Expensive lighting and the best sound systems available enhance the visual magic of a royal court scene in historic China where expert beautiful singers offer melodies that have the audience clapping and waving their arms in appreciation. Other guests sit quietly stunned by the appearance of the most beautiful women that they know were born as males.

Just look at the lady in orange below. Can you tell if she is a real girl or just a ladyboy?
I find her so gorgeous and don't think that she was a male before this. Is she a real girl? I'm totally confused!

She is so beautiful and sexy, guess she is one of the famous performers in Simon Cabaret show.

The cabaret show was last for 1 hour (or 1 hour plus, sorry I've forgotten bout this). But everyone enjoyed this entertainment show, we had no time to take photos/ video. :)

After the show ended, as mentioned, all the top ladyboys were standing in a row outside the theater. They seem begging for photographs.

No one dared to go over, perhaps they have already heard the trick behind it.

See! The man in blue in this picture was searching for money to give to the ladyboy.

You can even take photo with the male performer.

She is top ladyboy if not mistaken. Her face was on the big billboard. See, she knows how to pose!

Beautiful costume!

You can see this minivan of Simon Cabaret around Patong. They fetch visitors from hotel and will send them back after the show ends. Ya, I was fetched by this minivan :)

I would like to thank Miss Lee, my tour guide from South West Travel Agent. Because she managed to get me an excellent seat. I got the opportunity to see all the performers from a very near distance. Some of them even smiled at me, haha..! By the way, I paid 900 baht for this show.

If I have the chance to visit Phuket again, I'll surely go for this show :)

Phuket city half day tour

Half day Phuket City tour is included in the 'ground' that we purchased in Malaysia.

22/2/2011 -Miss Lee, the tour guide and the driver showed me the Phuket city.

The tour was started at 9:30AM. The first destination was -Promthep Cape. Promthep Cape is the southernmost point of Phuket island. It is a famous spot for photography because of its great view.

Arrow is pointing at the southernmost point. I did not go further down to that spot as I would need to climb up later on!

Miss Lee is such a courteous tour guide. She helped to snap so many photos.

The stunning view here has certainly delighted me. And due to the brightness of sun, it is a must to wear sunglasses, otherwise your eyes will feel uncomfortable.

There are a few small island nearby. According to the tour guide, this is called as turtle island.

Breath the fresh air!

There is a famous Promthep Cape Elephant shrine situated at Promthep Cape. Pray for good!

Okay, right after the visit at Promthep Cape, sat back on the minibus and travelled to see Rawai beach (more for locals) and also Sea Gypsy Village (fishing village). Nothing much about these places.

After that, we moved on with Phuket city tour and we reached another destination called Wat Chalong (Chalong temple).

Wat Chalong seems to be a must visit place in Phuket. There is a saying among Thai tourists that if you are visiting Phuket but have not yet set foot in Wat Chalong, then you have not really arrived on the island.

Apparently there are 3 levels of Wat Chalong, this is what you can see on level 1, the ground floor.

I did not go up level 2 and 3. So just looked around at level 1 and left.

If you are intended to visit Wat Chalong, please bear in mind that you can not wear sleeveless here.

Another place that I visited was cashew nut factory. This cashew nut factory must be a famous place because it was full with tourists.

There are different tastes cashew nuts available, for example tomyam cashew nut, chocolate cashew nut, sesame cashew nuts and lot more. Tourists can try out all the samples. Some of the cashew nuts taste quite okay, but we did not buy any because the prices are too expensive compare to local prices in Malaysia. It was like RM10-20 per pack. Plus, it was not in big pack. I think I was a wise consumer/ tourist at that moment.

Other than cashew nuts, there are so many other snacks available.

Right after the visit to cashew nut factory, the next destination was gems factory. Personally, I don't like visiting all these factories as I have no interest in buying any of these stuff. But, since everything was scheduled, I had to pay a visit even I know I have no interest. Just take it as an eye-opening experience.

I noticed all the staffs here put on earphones. Guess they must be listening to music. This job requires high concentration and patience.

In conclusion, I did not buy any gems, as expected.

It was around noon time, tour guide and me hopped on the minibus and we travelled a bit of the city. We saw the Chino-Portuguese style of buildings at at the Phuket town. Also, we went to see another landmark place called Saphan Hin Park. All these places have so many stories behind. The Chino-Portuguese style of buildings are actually the same with the one we have in Malacca.

Okay, it's lunch time!

I had our first 'tour meal' that was arranged by Miss Lee. I wasn't sure where was the place, but the view was quite okay, had a seat right in front of the lake.

What were the dishes? Local tomyam soup, sweet and sour fish, mix vegetables, a type that look like fish cake? And also spicy crab which was not in the picture.

The food was so so, and fresh fruits were served after the meals.

After taking the lunch means the end of the half day tour . What a day!

First trip to Phuket. First night in Patong!

A ground was booked for this Phuket trip. It costs RM830 per persons, including the hotel fees, day tour fees, fees to visit James Bond island, fees on the breakfast, lunch and dinners. Everything seems included, even the tipping for tour guide.

So, after reaching Phuket, a tour guide picked me up and sent me to hotel. Miss Lee is a Chinese Thai, and we communicated in Chinese. She introduced Phuket in the minivan and told me what activities would be done within the 3 days 4 nights.

A dinner supposed to be served while I arrived, but unfortunately the flight got delayed and she said the restaurant didn't want to serve it. Fine, she returned 400 baht and I had to find my way to have dinner on the first night.

I checked-in Baumanburi Hotel at Patong. Hard Rock Hotel is just opposite to the hotel. The staffs at Baumanburi Hotel aren't as friendly as those people in Bali. Even the bell boy showed me a black face. I wonder why! No greeting, no smile, sounds quite bad service. Don't expect for a 'sawadee kha' from the front line too!

After putting down all the luggage in room, I walked out the hotel and walked along Patong streets. It was already almost 10PM thailand time, but it was very busy along the street. Miss Lee said Patong is the busiest area of Phuket. The streets get busier as the night gets late! Huh...the night is still young over here!

Restaurants, bars, convenience stores, hotels, motels, can be seen everywhere. There are also many shops selling bags, watches, t-shirts, etc. I didn't see everything clearly, I just wanted to look out for a place to have dinner.

I didn't know why, but I popped in a Muslim kind of restaurant - Orient Restaurant.

Looking at the menu, all the foods are expensive compared to Malaysia $. At last, I got myself fried noodle with shrimp.

I spent 170 baht for it! It equals to RM17, expensive right? For the first time, I feel that Malaysia foods are much cheaper than Thai food. Felt regret to have dinner at this Orient Restaurant :(

After having dinner, I walked further down the street. Jungceylon shopping mall is just opposite Bangla Street. I didn't have chance to do shopping at this mall throughout the trip. :( Feel so bad!

The mall is still up with the CNY deco, looks very beautiful!

Greeted by the Mac uncle. But no chance to try out the pork burger. Time was not enough!

Here's the busiest street in Patong called Bangla street. If you google online, you can see a lot of info relate to this street.

I strongly feel that Phuket is a heaven for men! Real girls and ladyboys are all around the streets, waiting for customers! You know what I mean, don't you? Even massage ladies pull customers at street! At night, Phuket is just like a sex city! I didn't expect that...

Bangla streets is very busy and full of tourists here. So many happenings here.. a go go bar , ping pong show, tiger show, special massage, bar girls on the table, pole dancers... Fuhhh... you get what you want! Everything is so open here... And I don't really know what are they!

I saw a few ladyboys on this street, and they asked for photos. I didn't think much and snapped the photos. Guess what, I was asked for money right after the shoot! Oh, tricky ladyboys! At last, paid these 2 fellows 60baht. They are not friendly, they just want money!

So, if you see any ladyboys in Phuket next time, don't take photo with them! Unless you are very happy to pay them.

After got cheated by these men, I felt bad and walked back to hotel! lol...

First flight with AirAsia to Phuket!

I have always wanted to visit Phuket, simply because I love beaches (although I don't swim).
Thought this place will be the same like Bali, but obviously my perception is not right.

Okay, let me tell you about my recent trip to Phuket, Thailand. :)

Flight tickets were booked in May 2010, it was under the AirAsia '0' dollar promotion. I grabbed these tickets and paid about RM198 for 2 persons (return). It should be cheaper if I didn't chose the seats and checked-in a 15kg baggage.

It was my first time flew with AirAsia, for the past travel journey, mostly I flew with SIA and MAS.

The flight was on 21/2/11 - 8:20PM, but it got delayed and I boarded the plane around 8:40PM (+8 GMT) [ almost delayed by 25minutes]. It was the first time I boarded at LCCT. It was kinda funny that I had to walk for a long distance before boarding the plane. Gosh, had to climb up the ladder so openly. I had never imagined that!

After boarding the plane, it surprised me more! I thought it would be like a '3-4-3' kinda big plane, who knows it's a '3-3' plane. It's much smaller than SIA/ MAS. Now I know the big difference between MAS & AirAsia! Not only that, there ain't any entertainment resources. No digital screen on seats, no earphones provided. Nothing...I was still thinking to listen to music while flying... silly me!

I could only look out from the window throughout the flying experience.

Since nothing much could be done on plane, I sat straight for the whole journey. Luckily the journey only took 1 hour 20 minutes from LCCT, Kuala Lumpur.

So fast, I had reached Phuket! Although AirAsia didn't provide a super comfortable traveling experience, it gave me a safe journey! That's enough :) Thank you!

Everybody loves to get rewards through blogging, don't you?

I am not a famous blogger who earn a thousand a day. In fact, I am a low profile blogger. Sometimes I do wonder if there is anyone who loves to read my blogs.

Owning 3 blogs do not seem to help in increasing my online earning. Frankly, it is hard to earn (more) through Nuffnang.

There are 2 types of campaigns that you might be assigned, normal campaign or metered campaign. You earn much more if your blog has been assigned with metered campaign.

Here's some info regarding the metered campaign on my blogs.
- 1st metered earning campaign on 17 Mar 2009 (assigned on JC in da house)
- For almost 2 years, I received a total of 133 campaigns under metered earnings
- Highest earning received = RM32.50 (advertiser = STB Thematic Branding)

Okay, let's talk about the normal campaigns that run on the blogs.

For my case:
- Received a total of 240 normal campaigns
- Highest earning received= RM1.25 (advertiser = Project Alpha Season 2)
- The earning is roughly RM0.25/ RM0.50/ RM0.75 per week per campaign

After accumulated my earnings for such a long period (2 years on online world is freakingly long!), I decided to cashout my Nuffnang earnings.

It's not a big figure, but I just don't want to hold it any longer.

How much Nuffnang is going to pay me? Just RM305.37, such a small amount.

Well, after press the cashout button, now my earning has turned back to RM0.00. Guess it might take years to grow the money again!

''Sammi Love Mi More World Tour 2011'' Live in Malaysia 鄭秀文世界巡迴演唱會

There was a great news that I heard from radio during this Chinese New Year. My beloved idol - Sammi Cheng is coming to Malaysia for her concert.

Date : 18 and 19 March 2011 (Friday & Saturday)
Venue: Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands

Time: 8:00 PM

It was a sad case last year as I missed attending her concert. It was too late to learn about her concert and all the hotel rooms in Genting Highlands had fully booked.

Now, one year later, I managed to book a pair of tickets to go watching her in live. I tried to get better seats but all the tickets for seats in PS1, PS2 and PS3 have sold out. I could only purchased tickets for PS4 which is very very far from the stage! No choice because I can only go on 19 March 2011.

Best wishes for 2011 Chinese New Year [ft. PETRONAS Chinese New Year TVC 2011]

Chinese New Year is around the corner, I guess all the Chinese are looking forward for this festive season. Everyone is doing the last minute shopping, and this leads to really bad traffic jam at town. Well, that's normal.

CNY has been a great festive season for the singles and children. They can receive 'ang pau' from the elders where there are real money notes inside the red packet. You can also get ang pau from your friends as long as they have got married. So, friends, who wanna give me ang pau this year? :)

For Chinese, this year is the year of Rabbit. I am not sure if there is any meaning behind the rabbit year particularly. I have not yet checked out my luck on this year either.

Chinese New Year is the best time for us to gather with family members and have reunion dinner together (a day ahead of the actual day of CNY). Not only that, the younger generation of Chinese also love to have gathering with friends during this festive season. It is just like an annual gathering because they might see each other only once in a year.

Hooooh... I can smell CNY now, it will be right here after a few days.

Facebook is not shutting down on 15th March!!

I have read a few emails yesterday stating that Facebook is shutting down on the coming 15th March! The content of the emails sound too true until I believed it was real.

If you have not read about the email, pls check this out!

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful. “Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”
Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.

“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”
However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.

“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”

Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.

But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

I started thinking how would my life be without having Facebook aroud. And I couldn't really imagine how poor will it be! How will the world be without Facebook??

After one day, it is now confirmed that Facebook will not be shutting down, it was purely a rumor that fooling us around! Woof... sounds so release now :)

So, for those who are still blur and confuse there.. I hope you hear the good news now. Facebook will keep working!

25 Movies That I Watched in 2010!

Just the beginning of 2010 (last year), I had made a decision to keep all the movies tickets for the whole of last year. Why? Just to fulfill my curiosity of knowing how many movies that I watched in a year.

Hahaha... so now, it's time to look back and find out the answer!

Well, I didn't manage to keep all the tickets as I kept some of them in my bag 1, in my bag 2, or in my bag 3.. in the end, I lost some of the tickets. Don't worry, I have just found out a website which has recorded all the movies released in last year or the previous year. Thanks The Star Online for doing a great job!

Okay, let's do the calculation.

1) Paranormal Activity [I have watched this movie, but I couldn't remember whether I watched in the end of 2009 or early 2010...okay, count it as 2010!]

2) Old Dogs [This movie I watched it in Singapore with my friend, couldn't remember whether it was in 2009 or 2010!]

3) Legion [Some scenes were pretty scary and I found this movie was not bad. But my bf said it was a waste of time!]

4) True Legend [Starring my favourite pop star - Jay Chou in this movie, but seriously, his acting needs to get improved!]

5) Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief [Was not as good as expected! ]

6) 14 Blades [Starring Donnie Yan and Zhao Wei. After all I could only remember how muscular was Donnie Yan in this movie...! ]

7) The wolfman [I had kept the ticket with me. It was 15/2/10 when I watched this movie, time flies! ]

8) Alice in Wonderland [I watched the 3D version in Mid Valley together with my bf. There was performance on stage and decoration of the movie at the ground floor of MV! ]

9) Solomon Kane [I had the ticket for this. 5/3/10, 8:30 PM show that I caught ]

10) Clash of the Titans [I was quite looking forward to catch this movie and finally I watched the 3D version. But there weren't too much of 3D effects. By the way this movie was too short! ]

11) Kick-Ass [18/4/10, 4PM watched in MBO Seremban. Description for the movie ? Totally kick ass!]

12) Ice Kacang Puppy Love [The Star Online didn't record down this movie. But I had watched this on 18/4/10, 6:30 PM. Yup, it was the same day as I watched Kick Ass. 2 movies in one day, not so crazy isn't it?]

13) Ip Man 2 [2/5/10, 4PM Personally I still prefer Ip Man 1 :) ]

14) Iron Man 2 [I was really impressed with this movie, enjoyed watching it so much!]

15) A Nightmare On Elm Street [Victims were killed when they were sleeping! Quite scary huh...]

16) Crossing Hennessy [A typical Hong Kong film]

17) Salt [30/7/10, 6:50 pm A wow for Angelina's acting!]

18) Inception [1/8/10, 1:15PM You will never know if someone steal information from your brain while you are making dreams!]

19) The Expendables [You can see all the big action stars in this movie, but it was a rather disappointed movie]

20) Phua Chu Kang [A funny comedy :) ]

21) Piranha [Thought it would be a real and scary movie, but some parts of the movie were too ridiculous! ]

22) Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen [28/9/10, 7:10PM Another Donnie Yan's movie :) ]

23) Hiss [31/10/10, 4:15PM Didn't know this movie was based in India, and ya, was a poor movie]

24) Tron Legacy [ 16/12/10, 7:50PM Tron was a great movie and I felt quite regret for not watching it in 3D. It should be nicer watching it in 3D ]

25) Gulliver's Travel [The last movie that I watched in 2010 was Gulliver's Travels which was seen on 25 Dec 2010 in Sunway Pyramid. The 3D version was a waste of money, but overall the movie was quite interesting :) ]

Those were the movies that I caught in 2010! A total of 25 movies, if I paid a minimum of RM10 per movie, I have spent at least RM250. So I predicted I have roughly spent RM300 for all the movies (not counted the $ spent on popcorn and drinks!)

As 2011 has just begun, I will try to keep all the movie tickets again. And wait until next year in order to do the calculation!

It's new year, so what is your new year's resolution?

Personally, I hope to**
1) have more time updating blogs

3) receive more blog traffics
4) have more time exploring the world (even if I only go to KL?!)
5) love my skin more - sleep early and apply some skincare products (okay, if you don't know actually I am very lazy type of person who seldom use skincare products!)
6) learn more and enhance my life experience
