Why all me?

I have so many plans today. I want to accomplish so much. But, there are some hindrances. Anyways, here are some of the things that I must do today:

1. Go to the insurance company
2. Go to the bank to pay some bills

The two above are two things that are important.
Right now I am:

1. blogging
2. washing the clothes

Things that are waiting for me:

1. dishes
2. house cleaning
3. fixing of clothes

Amidst all these, I would like to sleep. However, I know that I must keep on going and focus my mind in accomplishing all the tasks I have listed.

Oh, My! I feel like a single parent! :(

A prayer

We fervently pray that our nation

will be spared from another threatening typhoon.

Our suffering people

have not recovered from Ondoy's wrath.

Please prevent Pepeng and other typhoons

from hitting any of our islands.

Save us from further calamities

by embracing our country

with your protective grace

and merciful blessings.

We also pray for all those who have lost their lives

that they may find their home in your kingdom.

The wonders of blogging

It was more than two years ago when my friend told me that there is money in blogging. She said that, you just have to create a blog, maintain it for three months, create traffic by blog hopping and then apply to advertising networks that advertise on blogs. At first, I did not have the confidence. What if no one visits my blog? She said that definitely, the one that you will visit will return the favor. So, that was the attraction to me. The aspect of having an extra income through writing. My friend was earning bucks then. I was so excited when finally, I was able to get my first assignment at $2. That was way way lower than what my friend was getting then. However, what was in my mind was, that was the start of more money to come. I really hoped so. However, there were other factors to consider. My friend advised me to write more and visit other bloggers more and invite link exchange so that my blog will be blessed with a page rank. Up to this date, I have not tasted it. However, I would like to thank blog advertising networks who still accept blogs like this to write for them.

There are many blog advertising companies in the world wide web. One that I like is blogadvertisingstore.com. It is very generous with opportunities. You just have to maintain a certain Alexa rating and there will already be assignments for you. Moreover, most of the assignments has a pay of more than five dollars ($5). Now, that is really something! I reviewed the posts I written for them and the lowest pay that I got was seven dollars ($7)! Imagine that!

Why people get sick?

Sometimes, I am asking, why people get sick? Why could they just be healthy? Why people suffer?

We could not question it of course. However, we know that somehow, we are in control of our body? No one to blame but us? We also tend to blame genes?

People get sick because life here on earth is not eternal.

People will die... the good news, there is life after death.

Do you believe in that?

I need a tutorial

It is Wednesday morning! In about two hours, I would be up and going to the office! I am not too excited. I just wanted to stay home and read about this mysql web hosting. Yes, I am looking for a web host this long. Wow, I have been blogging for more than two years already. I guess, the free web host has served me well already. Thank you! Is it time to say goodbye to free hosting and say hello to a web host of my own? I guess, I have to be very careful about this decision by reading web host reviews. Do I need a data storage? Do I need Mysql? Is it not for big sites only like facebook or google? But, if I do get a mysql web host for this very small site of mine, a blog at that, would it mean that the loading of this site would be faster compared to getting a web host that is mainly for personal sites? Yes, I have so many questions and I actually need a tutorial! Ha,ha,ha,ha! That is why, this blog of mine is still free hosted. I do not know how to go about with this web hosting thing.

It is already Monday! October 20! The year is about to end. 2009 is about to be over. I feel stagnant. I want movement! Or, I want everything to just stop. I do not know now.

It is extra hot today. My husband said that we should start sleeping inside the bedroom. However, because of the extra hot weather, I told him that it is not conducive to sleep there at all. We are still sleeping here at the living room ever since the typhoon Ondoy. The room smells wet wood also because of the dresser that has not been removed there yet. I hope everything will go back to normal again.

New typhoon

I am watching the news right now and there is a new typhoon coming in Visayas region. People are being advised to leave their places and evacuate!

Our area was affected by typhoon Ondoy and until now, I have not recovered yet from the physical exhaustion. All the cleaning and the washing of clothes. My office mate asked me if I have computed the cost of loss of personal properties. Come to think of it, I have not really thought of that. Maybe, when I already got my needed rest.

The big house

What a big house! Actually, it is composed of four units. You could say that it is a sort of a mini condominium building or four town houses. The property belongs to my previous employer. It is actually for sale. It is located in Antipolo Rizal. I took this picture during our stay there after typhoon Ondoy. We did not have a place where we could temporarily stay until electric supply comes back. How kind and generous of my previous boss.

The amazing cellphone

Mobile phones really amaze me. I somehow watched the evolution of mobile phones from analog to the most modern one that we have today which we could use even for internet. I really admire the person who invented a mobile phone. It is like magic. You have one gadget that could do so many things. You could use it as a camera or as an e-book reader.

Do you already have an I-phone? I read an article, How to Read eBooks on Your iphone and it is really helpful especially if you want a simpler explanation on how to navigate i-phone per se to compare it with what you read in the manual. It says there what application you need for you to be able to read an e-book using your mobile phone. There are some suggestions there like stanza, e-book reader, bookshelf, classics and others. What struck me most about the article is that the suggestion of the writer about digital e-book. Now, that would be another good innovation!

As of the moment, I am still keeping my Nokia with me where I could write. Yes, I mainly use it as a diary of sort. I write my blog drafts in my mobile phone. It is also very useful as a digital camera. And of course, how many of you do not use your mobile phone as an alarm clock? Ha,ha,ha, I am sure most of us do, right? I also use my mobile phone as my calculator, radio and sometimes, I also watch here some videos. I really have an amazing cell phone!

As a mother, I would like to spend wisely. How You Can Start Spending Smart? Sometimes I am really an impulsive buyer. I am a woman too, you know, who loves to shop! Just like shopping for my favorite high fashion eyeglasses. Not just one, most of the time. Just like in shopping for clothes, we buy at least two or three. As of the eyeglasses, of course we would like to match it with our clothes too, or bags and shoes. Now, that could be very expensive! I am glad to find out that there are actually $ 8 Rx eyeglasses in beautiful designs and colors. Not to mention that many have testified that these eyeglasses are of good quality!

Now, I could spend wisely as a mother and fashionably as a woman.

No copying! Do you sometimes consider copying from other sites? Well, for a more subtle term, research is the word. I do not actually believe that someone could actually copy from another site because it is conscience bugging. Even the theme of another site could be considered being copied but, hey... those are free themes that anyone can download, right? Am I justifying myself? Did I copy a theme? No, I just changed my theme and found out that it somehow looks like the same as that of my friend's. Well, mine is two column though. Hers was three column. Given that, our themes are still different. Anyways, just to end this feeling, I will just change my theme again.

Today is a good day for the employees of our company! It is blessing time! We would be given extra money!

As of press time, I already got mine! Thanks, Heavens for all the blessings!
That is why, I always pray for my job. Okay, I am now willing to get old there if there would be no other options at all.

I have some other plans but have not started it yet. Time is not with me, though.

I do not really know what the future holds. I just leave it up to the One Up There.

Could we just leave and have a Mexico family vacation? Yes, that is what I would like to do right now. Leave home and let it just stand there. I hope that when we come back, it is well again. Oh, if life could just be as easy as that.

Why Mexico? Well, there are so many beautiful places there. Riviera Maya is becoming so popular. It offers fine cuisine. Most of all, the beaches there are really exotic. Virginal, as they say.

Busy but lazy

I am trying to multi task here. I have to go to the office for straight three days yet I do not have anything to wear yet. Well the past days had been busy and lazy that I had no time to wash my clothes. The problem of not having a maid around, huh!

I have to still go the office today. Well, I am about to finish the washing. When I came back from the office later tonight, I hope to do the ironing of those uniforms. Haaaaayyyyyy....
