My brother was the one who told me that the great Whitney Houston is dead!

"Ate, patay na raw si Whitney at the age of 48. Tingnan mo sa internet."

She dies Feb. 11 but the cause is still unknown. Oh, Whitney, may you rest in peace now.

I will always love her music. Well, the world loves her music. No one still surpassed her 7 number one hits. Among my favorites are: Saving All My Love For You, Run To You, I Will Always Love You and Where Do Broken Hearts Go.

I needed to wake up for my son's medicines. He was coughing hard and it meant that he had to take his medicines. After that, I tried to go back to sleep. Maybe when I was still alone, I would really appreciate or even need SIRI. I am sure that most of you already experienced SIRI. What can you say?

I think SIRI is a good application. Too bad, it is only for IPHONE, specifically for IPHONE 4S. The great mind of the late Steve Jobs, right?

SIRI can be a good companion. She will definitely respond to you and you might get surprised with some of her answers.

Can I say that SIRI can actually be your bestfriend? Well, if you do not have one yet, yes, SIRI can be your bestfriend.

Before getting a service or trying a new product, I make sure to read reviews and testimonials of those who have tried it. Well, sometimes, those come in a form of recommendation from friends also or from people I know whether I look up to them or I know them or not. The fact that they can say something about it means they really have tried it and it could be my basis to judge the product or service myself and eventually becoming a follower or not, right? How about you? Do you listen to the opinion of others?

There are times though that I close my ears and eyes from others. I let my own judgement rule. After all, though the ultimate goal of any company or service provider or product makers is same experience for everyone, still, each has its own experience or reaction to anything. There is always a specific product to a specific person. Thus, the target market, right? You cannot target everyone though it will be a good thing. I think it is only true for utilities.

For technology, there are products that can be for everyone. Example, online back up, all must have that. All must have internet connection. Something like that. What do you think?

How important is a windshield? From the name itself, shield you from the wind. Thus, it is at the front part of a vehicle, or, usually the front window, right? The windshield must be strong enough not only for the wind but for anything that might try to break in towards you. I could still remember that minor accident that I experienced when we went to the province. The bus lost its break and the driver turned the bus towards a post. The windshield only had a crack. I was sort of shocked because we were seated at the front row. The memory is really still fresh even if it happened ten years ago. Well, I almost lost my life there, you know.

So, have you checked your windshield? If you are going to replace it, make sure that it is made up of good material. Never to worry because in wherever place you are, there are good stores to serve you. There is gastonia auto glass, concordia auto glass, jacksonville auto glass and other stores in almost every state. Good to know for travelers, right? It is very important because you will never know what will happen in the road, just like what I experienced. So better have those contact numbers all the time!

I just had a sumptuous breakfast! Never mind the diet, huh! I had sunny side up egg, half cup of steamed rice, fried chinese kikiam and watermelon for dessert. The best part of the breakfast was having it with my friend, Nadz, who happened to be my co-worker at the same department also. Now, that's really a good way to start the day!

Have I mentioned that I am on a diet? Yesterday, I was determined to start anew with my seven day crash diet. First day, I must eat all fruits. Pretty harsh and torturing? Well, that was what my co-worker commented and told me that surely, I will lost some pounds by doing that. Come lunch time, my friends invited me to eat out. It turned out to be an eat-all-you-can bout! What now? I could not turn down the treat of my friend. She was so happy to tell us some great news of success in work and in their business! I really got worried for my diet!

I never stopped searching for diet solutions. I found new ones every time. Just like right now, I read about meizitang. Yes, it is a diet pill but quite affordable than the rest of the diet pills that I found online. Imagine a whopping price of only $19.99 for 60 tablets! That is really something that I can afford! My expenses for my diet is now way too high that I can already buy a car! Well, yes, after so much money, I am still at 170! I guess it is time for me to buy meizitang. Whoa! It is good to learn that there is a state that is strict enough for those who drive under influence of alcohol and drugs! I wish that there is something like that here. Maybe through that accidents because of driving when drank will be lessened. Well, the victims of such accident are not only the other party but even the driver himself.

My dream house

Excited to build your own home? Have you thought of that investment yet? Yes, a house and lot! Whether you are single or married or in an extended family, having a house of your own is a must. I remember before that of the things your money goes to, shelter is one of the top three things. So, what are you waiting for?

When I was younger, I dreamt of a big house. Something like more than five rooms, up and down--haha, that's what we call for two-storey houses before, vast garden, swimming pool, a really big house almost of a palace, that was my dream house. Then, I grew up! My view of being a future princess, then a queen like that of a fairy tale were all gone. I started working and I realized the realities of real estate and building your own home.

I already have my own home now. The struggle before involved looking for good locations and tons of brochures from developers with sample house plans. I really opted to purchase a land then build my home there.

I still want a bigger place. Maybe then, I shall have a little version of my dream house. I know that I should hire an architect then. But, wait! Did you know that there are so many house plans all over the internet? There are even kits that you can use to build your home. The price is way more affordable than hiring your own architect. For those who are going to build their owns like me, you might want to check that out!

We have new doctors in the office. Before, they were still trying to adjust to the system. There was once a time that it took them one hour per patient. Now, they are real fast. There is one beautiful doctor there who seems well adjusted already. She attended to me for less than five minutes when I complained of cough. Well, if I were the doctor, I will be fast too in saying that all I need is increased water intake at 2 liters per day and at least eight hours of sleep, huh? Kidding aside, I wonder if that doctor is really goo in terms of credentials.

In US, there is a network of physicians where the profile of doctors can be seen. Alan Koenigsberg MD is already a member together with the rest of the 6% of US physicians. That is a good number and hopefully, it will increase soon.

I think I have written this before. Well, it is true that God is good all the time. I really do not know how I can thank him enough for all the blessings. He knows that I am in a financial situation right now and He never forsakes me. He gives me everything that I need. Much more, He even provisions for things that I want. Thank You, God!

Sheena's daughter used to take Topamax. However, after hearing news about Topamax lawsuit, she went to their family doctor and asked about the product. Topamax is an anti-convulsant drug but it can have some serious side effects. I really do not know if the drug still exists up to now considering the controversy. Oh, it is not actually just a controversy but a fact that there had been cases that won.

My son just finished attending the Science Explorer activity at their school. The signing up was hel since November 2011 an finally, it was one yesterday. My son enjoyed the activity very much. He even got a globe which was a prize for his being inquisitive. I told him, wow, you got a globe! He said that it is not an ordinary globe. Well, it is a globe ball.

Who would have thought that there could be such a thing as Crestor lawsuit. I owe it to myself

It will be January 1,2012 in no time. What now? I have not gone to the parlor. Yes, I need a haircut and a pedicure! I have been telling my husband that I will cut my hair and sport one of those 2012 hairstyles! I will go for a shorter hair this time. But, you know, I am still here, lazy again to go out and do pamper myself a little. I might decide to do my own pedicure which is easy. I just need to have those toe nails look clean and that will be it! How about my haircut? Oh, believe me, I looked at myself in front of the mirror the moment I woke up and almost grabbed a pair of scissors to cut a few inches of my hair. But of course, I changed my mind. I need to study first in Nashville cosmetology school to be able to do some justice on my crown of beauty.

One of my New Year's resolution is to really be able to take care of myself more. You know, be made up and pretty and yes, slimmer too! I think I owe that to myself. I also owe it to people who look up to me like my son and husband.

After 1,090 posts and being a blogger since September 2007, I think it is high time for me to consider my own web host. There are many advantages of course like having your own domain and unlimited hosting space as I have read in findwebhosting.com. The offers of different web hosting sites are attractive enough for me to not try. Imagine, for even less than five dollars per month, I can already have my own web host. I can add as many domains as I want. I get a free e-mail account also. Some web host sites are interesting and the one that I think I will choose is of course, the number one site according to surveys. I think I will ask my friend also who is already subscribed to it. Actually, what I have a mind is to try all of the top ten webhosting sites and see which will be the best for my needs. Anyways, all of the packages are affordable enough! No worries! Besides, there is a site also that can guide me with this webhost thing. Pretty exciting and challenging for me. Anyways, I plan to stay blogging for the longest time thus getting a webhost will be a good decision.

The Meaning of Christmas

Whoa! I could not sleep! Excited much? It will be Christmas dinner tomorrow already! It is December 23! Yesterday, I am done with my Christmas shopping as far as my closest friends are concerned! Well, I just gave their kids something extra special from I usually give. I am not really into gift giving for the reason that I do not know what to give. I usually resort to giving cash. For my nieces and nephews and godkids, it will just be cash.

How about gifts for myself? I do not know. I told my husband that I might buy a blender and a pressure cooker. Diet starts January and the blender will be very useful to me. The pressure cooker will be used for cooking beef for our media noche.

So, how about you, guys? How is your Christmas going do far? Any special gift for yourself or to someone very special to you?

Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas!
