"BP" ignore U.S sanctions to adhere invest in Russia

Company "BP " oil British giant rejected American sanctions against Russia , saying they intend to stay long-term investor in the Russian company Rosneft , after the U.S. government imposed sanctions on the head of Russian energy company .

A spokesman from "BP" said "We are committed to our investment in Rosneft .. And we intend to remain a successful investor for long term in Russia."

He added that "BP" which owns 19.75 % in Rosneft is currently looking what mean U.S. sanctions for the work of the British company.

United States imposed sanctions on Monday 7 officials Russian government, and 17 companies linked with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a new attempt to force Moscow to non-interference in Ukraine.

U.S. crude inventories rose last week by 3.5 million barrels to 397.7 million

Commercial U.S. crude inventories for the week ended April 18 rose by 3.5 million barrels, or 0.9%, to reach 397.7 million barrels, according to the Department of Energy's weekly review of the country.

Analysts expected an increase of 2.3 million barrels.

While the total gasoline inventoriesdecreased by 0.5 million barrels, or 0.1%, to 210 million barrels.

U.S. Distillate inventories increasedby 0.5 million barrels, or by 0.6% to reach 112.5 million barrels.
