Bought this printer a few months ago, Canon Pixma IP1880 for RM135. The original ink that came with it dried out today. So went to Tesco to buy new original ones, guest what, both of the cartridges totaled up to RM154.60. It's cheaper to buy a new god damn printer for goodness sake! I really don't understand this 'mambo jumbo'.

Congrats to my dear old friend Fathi who got married last 2 weeks, it's a whole different story from now on my friend. Injured my ankle pretty badly at his wedding, can't hardly walk for almost 2 weeks.

Merely days after I was back on my feet, had a car accident on my way back home from Subang last saturday. Everyone's safe, nothing bad happened but the car's in the workshop, it'll be ready in 3 weeks. The front of the car was a total mess and it was my fault, knocking people from behind.

My Zoo Negara Live! project is doing well, steadily the website's picking up more visitors each day. I've included a photo of my workstation at Zoo Negara, very nice, I like that corner. I'm not spending most of my time at the zoo anymore, as I'm controlling the P.C over there from my home. (That's Eric installing the wireless broadband and behind him is Farid the zookeeper, he takes care of the Malayan Tiger.)

Sofea's getting a handful of activities now days, after conquering the small part of our front balcony, her mission now is to conquer the kitchen and at the same time make as much mess as possible. I love her.

Pudu Jail's Graffiti: Aesthetics Beyond The Walls of the Prison Cells

This research is concerned with a specific genre on graffiti that was documented within the duration of 2 months (18th October 2002 till the 28th December 2002) in Pudu Jail, a prison facility that lies between Jalan Hang Tuah and Jalan Pudu in Kuala Lumpur. A phenomenon known as the "Prisoner's Graffiti" was initially noted on the first day of the observation. Intricate, yet, highly simplistic texts and rendered illustrations were found imprinted on the walls of the cell rooms. "Pudu Jail's Graffiti"; was the updated term to be concluded for the title of this study (as of February 2005). To this particular genre of graffiti, it had emerged as a part of an expression and to be derived as an identifiable subject matter. The researcher had focused on the graffiti solely through a constructed scale of taxonomy and derived from developed theories that falls in the same line as Parsons' (1987) studies in the interest of familiar artistic individual experiences within the collected samples. A mass series of documented photographs, were cross referenced from general recognition in visual identification in Panofsky's (1939) iconographical identification of Art, and with relationship in the studies done on the taxonomy on street graffiti such as Blume's (1985) "Graffiti". As such, these writings then could be seen in a different point of view, as the frequency had begun to take pattern, within the confined walls of the abandoned prison.

MEASAT inks deal to get National Geographic HD in Asia-Pacific.
MEASAT Satellite Systems has just landed an agreement with National Geographic Channel Asia that will enable Nat Geo HD and two other SD channels (National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild) to be "distributed on a MEASAT -operated satellite to pay-TV operators across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa." The trio of channels will be distributed via the MEASAT-3 satellite, though it wasn't specifically stated when any of them would go live.

They're making this movie based on the most popular manga of all time, Dragon Ball. I hope they don't botch it up as I've been a fan of the comic since I was in form 2. (1994, malay edition). Stephen Chow is producing this film. That's Goku and Bulma on the poster.
