Pakistan singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested in the year 2011, the day after he was detained carrying huge sum of money at international airport New Delhi .Rahat was taken to the DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence )office at the CGO Complex after he was detained at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport .The singer, along with his troupe of about 20, was scheduled to fly to Lahore on a 4pm flight. The directorate of revenue intelligence received a tip-off that he would be carrying a huge amount of forex.

At the airport, DRI officials recovered $50,000 from Khan’s check-in baggage, another $50,000 from his aide’s check-in baggage and $24,000 from an aide’s hand baggage.
The troupe was also carrying two demand drafts of $10,000 and $8,646. Indian laws allow up to $5,000 in cash, or $10,000 in traveller’s cheques, to be taken abroad .After Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was detained at IGI airport for attempting to leave the country with over $124,000, DRI officials said that it was a violation of the Customs Act. Later he was allowed to leave the country.

This is one of my earlier post of the year 2011 which I could not publish that time.A massive earthquake hits NZ city CHRISTCHURCH on Tuesday Feb 22 at 12:51 p.m , collapsing buildings,burying vehicles under debris .Christchurch city has been hit by an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude shaking buildings, making people run out of there houses to run for there life.According to the sources at least 65 people have been killed ,fires are breaking out ,buildings have fallen down ,buses are trapped under the debris. Christchurch mayor has declared emergency and has told people to move out of the city center.Power and telephone lines have been damaged and water pipes have burst filling the streets with water.The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km southwest of Christchurch.

New Zealand is between the Pacific and Indo-Australian tectonic plates that records on average more than 14,000 earthquakes a year ,out of which more than 20 are above 5.0 in magnitude.

Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone born on July 6, 1946 in New York's gritty Hells kitchen to Frank Stallone Sr. and Jacqueline Labofish is one of the highest paid Hollywood actor . Sylvester the actor/director/script writer/ producer is known for its role in Rocky and Rambo movies series. In spite of doing roles in comedy and drama types of movies, he is still remembered for his action roles .During his childhood days Stallone was not happy, he was lonely and his friends used to make mockery of him. An accident during his forceps delivery resulted in parts of his chin, lip and tongue paralyzed. The trademark of slurred speech,drooping lower lip and crooked left eye are the results of the accident which happened to him. Thus his friends in childhood days used to taunt him for his facial features and that made Stallone lonely and homely. His parents troubled marriage which later ended in divorce also made Sylvester unhappy and angry.

While waiting for his acting career to start ,he has worked all sort of work to make his ends meet. Sylvester career gained momentum with the Rocky movie which he wrote and acted as a star in 1976. The movie gained lot of appraise and was commercial hit. Stallone wrote,directed and acted in Rocky II (1979), then the third movie of the series was released in year 1982 (Rocky III). In the same year he introduced a character John Rambo in First blood. Thus the series of Rocky which continued up to Rocky V made his fans excited and thrilled by his performance while the Rambo series ended up in Rambo (2008) which was the fourth movie of this series. The Expendables 2 is another movie of Sylvester series which is written by himself and is set to be released in the year 2012 its a sequel of The Expendables(2010). Thus the saga of this great actor will continue and remain forever . We wish him all the best for his upcoming movie and great health.

Mahek Chahal evicted from BIG BOSS HOUSE

Mahek Chahal is the latest victim of eviction and was evicted from Big Boss House last Saturday . She was nominated along with Amar upadhyay , Shonali Nagrani and Siddharth . Siddharth was quite emotional when Mahek name was announced and tears came into his eyes . Mahek Chahal the actress who has worked with Salman Khan in films like Wanted and Main Aur Mrs Khanna, was accused by stars like Pooja Bedi and Shakti Kapoor that she is being favoured by Salman Khan the co-host of the show.But Mahek has cleared her stand saying that if she was being favoured by SALMAN she would have stayed till the end of the show. Mahek Chahal had fights with her BIG BOSS house inmate Akashdeep Saigal and things turned so ugly that Big Boss had to come in between to patch up their differences.

Mahek said that the time she spent on Big Boss house will be a life time experience for her. "Here she realized the importance of relationships.That fights are part of life and each one should be ready to forgive other."

Andrew Symonds to enter BIG BOSS HOUSE Today

Andrew Symonds will enter the Big Boss House along with Pooja Misrra as a contestant in today's episode. Pooja Misrra who was kicked out of Big Boss house owing to her aggressive and violent behavior towards her fellow contestant Sidharth will be the translator for Symonds. As the biggest problem for Symonds will be to understand Hindi therefore Pooja Misrra will be his translator. Pooja Misrra told that she will try to clear her name and all the controversies surrounding her as well as she will try to teach Andrew some Hindi and about the Indian culture.

Andrew Symonds who has entered the show just one month before the closing of the show, told reporters that he has not watched even a single episode of the show as he did not want to enter the House with a biased opinion about others. He says that he welcomes Harbajan Singh in the House as he will be a good ally .The 36 year old former Australian all rounder said that he will try to be himself and hope to have a lot of fun inside the house and show them glimpse of the Australian culture as well as learn about Indian culture. Former Aussie cricketer who accused Bhajji for calling him monkey on year 2008 (known as monkey gate scandal ) is now on good terms with him . He is also keen to meet Sunny Leone as he thinks she is a fun loving girl.

Talking about Pooja who will enter the house as translator for Symonds as he does not understand hindi and will try to help him as all the contestants in the show can converse in hindi only . Pooja thanked Big Boss for allowing her to enter the Big Boss House again . While other former contestants said that she is allowed to enter the house to boost the TRP of the show.

Why This Kolaveri Di which means "Why this rage towards me, girl" is a song from film 3 which has gone viral on the internet and has been viewed 1.43 crore times. The song was uploaded by Sony music on November 16 for upcoming Tamil movie 3. Aishwarya Dhanush has directed the movie while her husband playing the lead role. The film produced by Dhanush's father, Kasturi Raja and also stars Shruti Hassan .Film 3 is scheduled to be released on 14th January 2012. Kolaveri Di is an example of viral marketing and has been considered by Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad to dedicate its session to Kolaveri Di as part of its course on contemporary film industry.

The "Chammat song" on Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar has registered 1 million hits . It's a song based on the slap which Minister received and is remixed with Harvinder Singh's song. Harvinder Singh has come out with his own anti corruption song and tells why he slapped Sharad Pawar.
