Goodbye to past

I am not gonna update anything here because this page has been with me for more than 2 years.
I don't wanna delete it because, 5 years from now, I might come back to this page and learnt some of my past.
I am gonna create a new website soon. Estimated time would be 3 months or even longer. Depends.

Frankly speaking, I couldn't accept the fact that you are gone. I really like the way you think and inspire others to think differently. And the way you promote Apple is totally different from any other companies which eventually make Apple one of the most leading company in the world. You have different way of expanding your business.

Thank you for your inventions, iPod, iPad, iPhone, Macbook and etc.

I am deeply thankful that I am able to use your inventions. It is indeed one of the best gadget in the world.

I remembered the first day I work in an Apple store and I watch every single of your video when I was in work. I remembered how you used to show off cool features in iPod touch, iPhone and your story truly inspire me. You are truly creative and innovative.

New hobbies; New interests

This time, things are really different compare to last time. I don't know why!
Maybe it's because I am leaving soon or I fell in love in this beautiful place already.
Peoples here are really nice and especially the weather!

Sadly, this is gonna be my last semester as I am leaving soon to prepare for my mission.
Since it's my last semester, I am taking some of my major classes which is gonna be a lot harder than usual.

CIS 100 - Fundamental IS and Technology
CIS 101 - Beginning programming
Math 110A - College Algebra Part A
Math 110B - College Algebra Part B
IT 240 - Fundamental web design
Religion 122 - Book of mormon II

Anyway it's not really a good choice to take major class this early because you might get stressed out easily and most of the time you would feel so frustrated because it's so difficult that you couldn't understand. Computer science is a crazy and difficult major but it's so fun if you love computer.

Frankly speaking, this is the first time in my life I feel so scare to face my day. I have no idea what is ahead of me but every time when I think of it, my heart never stops beating. Sometimes I even choose to avoid thinking what is coming and ended up not finishing some of my assignments or even not prepared for the quiz or exam. However, I manage to come out with a solution soon enough to overcome my problems. In order to be prepared and do better next time, I make sure I am ready for what is coming. For instance, I need to make sure I am not nervous or scare of what is coming. Seriously I am so grateful for my Beats Studio! Because of it, I generate a new hobby and it is one of the way I release my stress. I would lie on my bed with my headphone on and listen to the musics. I would ended up feeling a lot better! Also I do not feel regret for spending so much money on this headphone. This thing save me from troubles. Another way is that I would stay in the bathroom under the hot water and stop thinking for awhile. I would stay under the water as long as I can. And I will feel so refreshed after doing that! Perhaps I should try swimming someday?

After all that stuff, what is waiting for me is my piled up assignments! Normally I do not do my assignments in the afternoon. I do my assignments every night. Another thing is that I make sure I have enough energy to work and do my assignments at night. I sleep every day in the afternoon to make sure I have sufficient energy to work and do my assignments at night. This way, I will not feel so tired and are ready to face what is coming.

Happy birthday to myself! September 20th, 2011.

This is the first time I celebrate my birthday abroad with friends all over the country.
At first, I was kinda surprised well not really surprised cox I know that these guys are planning something.

It all started on Sunday, September 18, 2011 where we have Gospel Forum. I didn't expect they would come out with such surprise. We were all listening to the professor talking and then few of my Korean friends came in and I know there is something wrong but I wasn't paying too much attention that time. When the gospel forum ended, suddenly they showed me a video made by my Korean friends. It was so funny and I was watching with my sister, suddenly they turned off the light again which totally caught me off. This time, with fire on the candles and them singing Happy birthday to me. This was on Sunday.

On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, I had my day off and I wasn't working that time. Guess what I was doing on my birthday? I was sleeping. This time, it was really my first time in my entire life being so blur. I lost my wallet and I found it back (Lucky me) I forgot it was my birthday (I thought it was other date).

I am a very simple guy. I don't ask more for my birthday and I know my friends will come out with something. I will not complain or dislike whatever they do. I will just appreciate and thank them. And once again, thank you everyone! The best gift I had is not expensive presents or whatever. It is that thing that I cannot but it anywhere else with a price. It is the power of friendship and it is priceless.

To Beatrice if you happen to read this,
I knew your surprise a week before my birthday. How do I know? Well, Eddy forgot to signed out his Facebook account on my iPod and I happen to read the message that you sent out to everyone. I was talking to myself, why would Beatrice send me such message if it is a surprise for me. So I left a comment, remember I said I would be the first one to record the movie? And I ended up with "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA". That is so my style and Eddy wouldn't do that. And moment after posting the comment I notice that it wasn't my profile picture but Eddy's profile picture. So I told Eddy that I accidentally read the surprise party message. Guess what he told me? He told me to pretend to be surprised. I was laughing so hard that time. Anyway, thank you so much beatrice. You know I think I like you!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Just kidding! :) (That's secret between me and her)

Malaysians celebrating Merdeka in Hawaii

This is the first time I celebrate Malaysia Independence Day in a foreign country, so we actually came out with a plan to cycle to Kahuku to have some shrimp for our dinner. The map below actually show you how far it is. Well, since we are cycling, it is so much faster and its only 19minutes ride.

but one of our friends needs to finish his painting for the following exhibition that he has. So,

we ended up going back to the campus.

Moment ago, I was holding her hand to let her demonstrate some
Aikido and I ended up landing on the ground. My leg hit the water pumper
thingy and I was laughing.

This is what Malaysians normally do, they stand there and look at you.
What the heckkk!! I was laughing and shouting for help.
Can't blame them for not able to differentiate am I playing or serious.

Thats what I got for messing with Korean Aikido. They ended up using alcohol
to clean my wound. Thank you so much! :)

Guess it wasn't a good day for me.

End of First Term

This is the date I officially declare end of the First Term and I am officially done with my finals.
Looking at the calendar reminds me that I'd been away from home for 9 months already. This is the
first time I'd been away from home for so long. I can't really describe what is my feeling now but I am definitely feeling enthusiastic.

Looking back really reminds me how determined I am in going through all the difficulties and trials.
I am really really grateful for the friends I have here for guiding me and showing me the right path.
In my entire life, I never felt so determined before. For instance, I think I am a left brain thinker because
I love math and I love cracking my head finding for solution. And this term, I can really see how hard I work to get good grades. This is the first time I work so hard for good grades. I really see changes in me. I wanna be smart, creative and most important I wanna be different and think differently from ordinary people. I think I start to love studying and enjoy studying. I gain knowledge every time I study. I need more knowledge. Next semester would be my last semester, I promise I definitely gonna give it all to get good grades.

On the other hand, when it comes to work, my manager or supervisors always has high hope on me. Maybe because I am a hard workers or they love working with me. I have no idea. Well, I never know in a blink of an eye, I'd been working in this restaurant for 9 months and every things seems to past very fast.
I learnt a lot working with different peoples from different countries. I used to get pissed off in things really easy when they don't do it in my way and I would treat them as my enemy if they don't do it my way. I learnt that, my goal is not to make more enemies but to make more friends to expand my connection. Thus, I start to treat people I think that were my enemies into my friends. And that is really fun because non of them are the one that you dislike.

Three months from now I am heading back to Malaysia. I remembered one year back, I was waiting to come to Hawaii but now I am going back to Malaysia.

And for now, time to enjoy my break and work hard again.

Waimea Valley

I have to say that it was an unlucky day because it rained for 5minutes

and stopped for 5minutes and rained for another 5minutes and it goes on.

I tried to utilize my newly made in Malaysia umbrella and it couldn't

withstand the strong wind and broke.

I'd been always thinking of going hiking and swimming in the waterfall.

This time, we're going to Waimea Valley! And it's free admission for all

of us because we are either BYUH students/ PCC employees.

We, the guys have decided to take on the waterfall by staying under it.

Each of us has to do it and this is my first attempt in trying to conquer

the waterfall. It was really hard because the water is pushing me away

and I have to admit I swallowed quite a lot of water which really taste good.

It's still not good enough.

We came back up to have some snacks because it was really tiring
conquering the waterfall.

This is my second attempt in trying to conquer the waterfall.

This time I came up with a strategy which is to swim to the big

rock beside the waterfall and take a rest before conquering the

waterfall again. It is really a good strategy because I am able to

regain all my strength and stamina. Then I have to give all I have

by swimming super fast to hold on the rock and to stand under

the waterfall. This time the current was so strong compare to the

previous current. We have no idea what is happening but I am pretty

sure this time I drank more water than before and I almost couldn't

breathe. At that very moment, I was thinking am I gonna die? And

what is gonna happen if I am dead? And I don't wanna let go the rock

I hold onto. So I try my very best and with all my strength.

I hurt my finger so badly but it was all worth it because in the end

I CONQUER THE WATERFALL BY STANDING UNDER IT!

It was 3 - 5 minutes struggling I think cox I took pretty long time to conquer it.

Regaining all my stamina and strength.

It really feel good staying under the waterfall and the current was so strong
that my pants nearly got off.

Diamond Head @ Waikiki Part 2

Here we are at Diamond Head or in other word, Le'ahi.

A little bit details of Diamond Head;

In 1908, Diamond Head was part of the U.S. Army Coastal Artillery defense system.

It is a 1.5 to 2 hours to hike to the top of the Diamond Head.

World's Largest Maze @ Dole Plantation

This is a last minute activity because I called my sister in the middle of night around 2a.m to ask what time is the activity. Well anyway, I really like staying in Hawaii because the people around here are so friendly and kind especially when we told the bus driver to notify us when we reach Dole plantation because this is our first time going to Dole plantation and we have no idea where it is. I just love Hawaii!!

Crab hunting @ Hukilau Beach

This is my second crab hunting! The first one was with Malaysia Club and it was organized by me.

Most of them are workers from concessions and I happen to have friends from concessions that invite me to follow along. Anyway, it was really a fun trip because they were all so friendly and kind!

I didn't know that there is no "C" in the QUIK! It's QUIKSILVER not QUICKSILVER.

We were suppose to hunt crab but they ended up swimming. lolx

Staying away from parents really help me to live independently.

I remember the first month staying in Hawaii, my room will always be messy. But now it's different.
My room will always look neat and tidy whenever I leave my room. I don't know why.
I just love seeing my room clean and neat.

Back in Malaysia, I didn't even bother to clean my room but now, I clean my room everyday.
I fold my blanket after waking up and I arrange everything in order. I can show you my room on January and June, you will probably see the differences. And both pictures were taken in different rooms because I moved already.

I think I start to live independently. I think more changes will be coming soon and I hope it's from negative to positive and not from positive to negative.

This is on January. I never fold my blanket. Never ever.

Things change and I start to fold my blanket everyday after I wake up.

Waikiki tour and dinning in Cheesecake Factory

June 14, 2011 Tuesday

This is my first time going to Waikiki and I'd never been there before. So, I thought it would be the same like the town but I was wrong. Waikiki is a very beautiful place and this is the place that you would truly want to be in when you are in Hawaii. Waikiki is surrounded with beautiful beaches, beautiful girls, branded stores and friendly people. Our purpose of going to Waikiki is to have our dinner in Cheesecake Factory. Again, it is a 2 hour journey to Waikiki from Laie.

We reached Wal-Mart and bought some of our stuffs that we need. And then, we planned to walk to Waikiki but on our way to Waikiki, we saw a trolley that will bring us to Waikiki so we took it.

Finally we reached Waikiki and we were told by the Cheesecake factory that we can come back at 7.00pm because it is fully accommodate. So we went to the beach and on our way to the beach, we spotted this weird store called THE STUPID FACTORY. It's not just stupid but it is cool because they sell tee with cool and funny words on it.

Thumbs down for the store. Passers-by were looking at me with a strange look.

That was the last day of classes for Spring term if I am not mistaken and we were so free because most of us finish our finals. So we decided to get relax by going to the beach. Unfortunately, the bus left before we were able to the bus stop. We went to McDonald's to have our breakfast! It is so cheap because I bought 2 McChicken with $3. Anyway, Waimea bay is famous for it's huge rock where people jump off from it! It is a must visit place when you come to Hawaii!

I think this will be the last time we hang out with Nicholas since he will be going back to Malaysia to prepare for his mission. We went to Ala Moana and also Wal Mart to restock my food.

It's a 2 hour journey to Ala Moana and it's so tiring sitting in the bus for 2 hour.

I am gonna wish him all the best for his mission!

Well, I think I am pretty lucky this month because I receive a letter from my bank. They told me that I am qualify for the $25 gift card. I think I swipe my card too often. This is so nice because this is my first time. Also, I am the employee of the month, and again, I receive $15 Foodland gift card as a reward.

It's Summer term here in Hawaii, and I'd been thinking to earn money online. Still thinking!

Movie marathon @ Kaneohe Mall

Few days ago, I went to the town with few of my friends to watch movie.

We had a movie marathon where we watch 2 movie continuously. It was a really tiring day lahh!

And the tickets are so expensive!! $7 for Fast Five and $14 for Kung Fu Panda 2 3D with 3D glasses.

I just miss Malaysia where the tickets are cheap and the mall is near because I get to drive to the mall.

But now it's different, I have to rely on the public transports which takes 1 hour.

Whatever lahh! :)

Regal Cinemas 10! So big difference compare to GSC/TGV ( Malaysia's Cinema)

I like this the most!!

Just don't like watching cartoon! Duuhhh!!

Polynesian Cultural Center Tour

Polynesian Cultural Center is the Hawaii #1 visitor attraction. (Polynesian Cultural Center)

Polynesian Cultural Center actually belongs to my church, Latter Day Saints. (Wikipedia PCC)

I'd been working in Ambassador, one of the high class restaurant in Polynesian Cultural Center.

Well, it's been 6 months working in Polynesian Cultural Center but I never truly tour around.

This time, we have a special occasion where most of the Malaysian students gather together to visit PCC and our theme for that day is, be like a tourist! There are some pictures below where we were trying to be like a tourist.

Singapore & Malaysia Chapter of Brigham Young University- Hawaii brings to you Rasa Sayang.

We sang Rasa Sayang for Song Fest. There are several chapters that are going to perform.

I am seriously proud of being a Malaysian but what our government has been doing now totally disappoint me. We are the World's Biggest Joke ever!

After singing, it's time to go crazy which I used to do!
