Author, Michael Farmer, will be at the library to talk about his new book, Killer of Witches, The Life and Times of Yellow Boy; with a presentation on the Mescalero from 1860 - 1880 and the end of the Victorious War. A copy of this books is currently available for check out.

Monday, June 1st beginning at 10am is the Kick off for the Children's Summer Reading Program! The theme for the day is: WOW! Have I got a Story For You! Our local Boy Scouts will be leading us in the flag ceremony at 10:15, local heroes will be here to share stories, a craft, hot dogs will be grilled and served at noon, and we will be bagging kettle corn to send to our troops over seas.

Wednesday, February 18th at 10:30 am is "A Presidential Birthday Party" downstairs in the children's department. There will be stories about presidents, George Washington Hats will be crafted, voting will take place, and also a pinata and snacks.

Kari Dawn will be on the radio with Harvey T. this Thursday morning (the 19th) between 8:30 and 9 am. Make sure you tune in to 102.3 FM KEDU the DOVE.

Every Thursday is Tech Hour with Trish at 10 am. Bring in your electronic reading device to get some help with Overdrive and other electronic services we offer.

Don't forget, next Tuesday the 24th is the Mardi Gras celebration downstairs. There will be a parade through Village Hall after learning about Mardi Gras and a festive mask craft.

Thursday Tech Hour with Trish at 10:00 AM in the Library, every Thursday. Trish can help you figure out common problems with your audio and e-book downloads. Anything from getting started to finding out how to return books earlier than the due date.

We are in need of Airplane Magazines! We have a Very Special Patron that comes to see us a few times a month that collects Airplane Magazines. He prefers Piper and Aviation, but any magazine that has airplanes in it will be greatly appreciated!

Saturday, May 16th at 11am, Author Anne Hillerman will be here for a book talk and signing.

Her new book Rock With Wings releases this month.

Keep an eye out on the website for the release of the Summer Reading Program Schedule. Early Registration will begin on May 18th. The first 50 kids that register before June 1st will receive a goody bag.

Wednesday the 10th, Preschool Story Time at 10:30 is all about Valentine's day! We will read Valentine Stories and there will be a “Love Bugs” craft after.
