Dusseldorf known for its pub area known as Alstad, Carnival, 1 Km long fashion street known as Königsallee, Rhein river side. But some places are not so much discussed and Dusseldorf Flea market is one of several. Flea market is always a point to attraction for me as sometime you can get things at very low price

As visiting Dusseldorf Germany for an official tour this year and lucky enough at the time when city was in mood of festivity, so sharing the mood of city in this post.
Dusseldorf is city that is known for its cosmopolitan character and sophisticated living (Düsseldorf ranks No. 5 on a list of global cities in quality of life. The carnival season in Germany (also called the "Fifth Season") officially begins on November 11th, at 11:11 a.m. The actual celebrations of the German carnival take place 40 days before Easter. As I'm not a gadget freak, that's why after being a IT professional from last 5 years I never owned any Laptop before ( yes I have PC but not using it since last 3 years) so its my first laptop so I'm writing about my decision and choice in next few lines. My preferences are Intel Core i5 processer and 14" screen only, after gone through the list of laptops I narrowed down to MSI, Toshiba and HP brands as they are in budget. About MSI, its known and good brand even though the reviews were not great but superb looks and pricing for MSI CR640 attracted me but failed to secure the deal as it got expired on the ebay.in. After this decided to visit the local market and impressed by HP and Toshiba. HP 430 and Toshiba Satellite C640-X4012 are in same price bracket but from configuration point of view HP 630 is little low.

Finally made up my mind and made a purchase with Toshiba.Toshiba Satellite C640-X4012 comes with Inter Corei5 2nd Generation Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD (5400 RPM SATA), LED Backlight CSV display, nice keyboard layout with glossy keys with various option using the function key and comes with 1 year international warranty that can be extended to 3 years (with a price tag). It comes with very plain looks but I prefer performance. After two days of normal usage it impressed me with its looks and performance and Battery back-up of 3 hours approx. Till now my decision is doing good. For those who is looking for the same I advice them to have a look it once in near by store as looks are plain and depends person to person.

After much fanfare Govt. Of India initiated the Aadhaar (UID) card program, and promised to deliver the card after 60-90 days of enrollment. I along with my family enrolled on 17 July 2011 but still waiting for the Aadhaar Card (UID). See the below picture, from last 3 month its showing the same message. I think program facing in too many hurdles, first it got the huge cut in its planned budget, then few technicalities and then overshooting the promised time frame. Even Aadhaar toll free 1800-180-1947 works inconsistently, some time its says "number does not exist".

What you will expect where program itself says "It will not replace other ID's."

Sultanpur Lake Bird Sanctuary, Gurgaon: Nice weekend hang out

This weekend I visited the Sultanpur Lake Bird Sanctuary. Its situated right on the State Highway12 KM from Gurgaon and 42 km from Delhi, towards the Patudi (Saif Ali Khan is Nawab of Pataudi). To reach this lonely and lovely retreat you have to drive through the few busy roads of Gurgaon as to reach from NH-8 you have to drive extra 18 KM (to take U-turn from KM-42 Kheri Daula Toll Plaza). So my bet is better drive through the inside Gurgaon. This place is a haven for bird lovers. Best time to visit is from September to December as in winter birds from as far as Siberia wing in this area along with flock of geese from Europe.

Today I decided to visit Civil Hospital in old Gurgaon after coming to know that it has been modernized (it was renovated 6 month back though). Even though it was holiday for Civil Hospital, Gurgaon today and doors were locked but I didn't find any difficulty in entering the OPD (outpatient department) area using back door. Once entered I was astonished to see the interior infrastructure and you will too once you see the pictures.
