Lots of news used to hit the media even if the movie is starred by a hero like Vambu.

If the case to a movie of Vambu will have lots of news and gossips, what should be a movie of Rajini to create impact in the media? But about Enthiran there is no news at all.

Initially some paparrazi type pictures about the movie came out but after that nothing is available to the media.
Is this because of SUN group - the producer of the movie who does not want to leave a bit of news about the movie leaking out? or is that Shankar who put that condition or Rajini himself not willing to leakout anything regarding the movie?

It seems, its Rajini who does not want to create any big news about the movie as he feels that too much of news will create too much of expectations that happened in the case of Sivaji and Kusalen, while Sivaji gave money back to the producer, Kusalen made the distributor totally out from the industry.

Namitha was in a very happy mood when she spoke to HosurOnline.

HosurOnline was seeking an interview with the item girl Namitha. She agreed to speak to HosurOnline during the shooting of Jegan Mohini and was found in a very happy mood.

She started the discussion by revealing a news that she was the one who recommended Vadivelu for the movie Jegan Mohini. She was quick to add that Vadivelu is Anna only in the movie and in real he is another machaan who jols at her.

With effortless emotions and high production value Director Bharat Bala introduced a fresh outlook on filmmaking. In fact AR Rahman’s master piece Vande Matharam has been cherished as a visual treat because of this Indian born American director’s inspirational picturization. We notice that stories with the sketch of crossing two or more cultures are been special interest for him right form his maiden venture ‘Hari Om’.

What next? As we all know the director is preparing for his second film, ‘The 19th Step’, co-produced and distributed by the Walt Disney Company. The film is scripted by renowned writer MT. Vasudevan Nair who has drafted certain historical happenings that took place in Kerala in 14th century related to Buddhism. The story of this film revolves around a Japanese Samurai warrior Kenji (Tadanobu Asano) who travels to Alleppy in Kerala, to learn the secrets of the ancient Dravidian martial art Urumi (multi-swordfight technique) one among the techniques of Kalaripayattu. Kenji learns the art of Urumi from a veteran martial art trainer Narayana Gurukal. In the process, a silent yet passionate love grows within Kenji when he sees the beautiful Chera Princess Meenakshi (Asin).

The attention-grabbing part of the report comes here. The role of the guru who teaches this martial art for the hero seems to create vagueness in the film’s progress. Earlier Padmashree Kamal Hassan was set to do the role of the martial art trainer as he was the only person who is acquainted with the art of Kalaripayattu among Indian actors.

It is said that Kamal accepted this offer since he felt that his portion was a meaningful one. When all went on fine, the script was revised as it seemed to be lengthy and slow in paced. This is where the exact problem peeped out. When Kamal went through the altered version of the script he felt unsatisfied, since the Japanese Hero’s character was much more important than his. It is also whispered that Kamal suggested a few changes in the script so as to improve his portion. After which it is alleged that the writer refused to make any further changes in the script and told, it is the script that decides the characters in the story and he is only instrumental. As if this confusion is not enough, here came the real shock for Director Bharath Bala when Kamal backed off from the project saying that he is too busy for the next 2 years.

Since the situation was tight and had already decided the production design, set arrangement and the call sheets of other artists, the director decide to cast Vikram for Kamal’s character. Vikram is also said to move away by telling that he is not familiar to the ancient martial art but will decide and tell later.

Do we notice something fishy when it comes to the story saying that Kamal backed off due to change in script? If we observe one contrary point that Kamal is a person who gives utmost importance to script so, would Kamal have reacted in such a manner? This is the million dollar question in everyone’s mouth in the industry as of now.

We can just hope that this cross-cultural film brings in a greater understanding of our diverse world. There is always a need for such scripts, especially with today’s rapid globalisation, where borders are constantly crossed. This film is a trilingual that will be filmed in Tamil, English and Japanese, as well as dubbed versions in Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu. We have lots in store for you all out there, just get back for more!

Our space had informed you that the racy photoshoot of Neetu Chandra in a Mumbai suburban hotel with another female model, Krishikha Gupta, had created much uproar due to which the shoot had to be stalled. The photos are indeed very bold and shocking, but the magazine ‘Man’ has decided to go ahead with them.

Katrina Kaif and John Abraham were bounced back from the nightclub

Currently, Katrina Kaif and John Abraham are in US shooting for director Kabir Khan’s film ‘New York’. It so happened that during the shoot, one of the crew members threw a party at a nightclub and invited Katrina, John and the director to the party. However, when John and Katrina, along with Kabir Khan, got to the club, they were denied entry because they were reportedly not carrying proper identification proofs. They even told the bouncers that they were known stars from India, but the argument apparently cut no ice with the American bouncers.

So, while everyone else were partying hard inside, John and Katrina found themselves bounced out of the nightclub. They even drove back to their hotel and returned with ID proofs. But it was too late by then and the party had already died down.

Vidya Balan was overawed and intimidated when she found herself paired next to the well known actor Naseeruddin Shah Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Ishqiya’.

Though Vidya herself is a very fine actress, she could not find herself sitting around normally and sharing a normal conversation with him when the shot was not on. Sneha Ullal, better known as the look-alike of the pretty Aishwarya Rai is back with a bang after a long period of hibernation after Aryan with the film Kaash Mere Hote.

When I met her for this interview in the suburbs, Sneha categorically stated that it was a conscious decision on her part to let acting take a back seat after Aryan because she felt that she was too young and wanted to be mature enough to take her plunge in films. “I did not even know how to talk to the media.”

Sneha hastens to add that the reason that she decided to take up the offer to act in Kaash Mere Hote is that she desperately needed to act in a Hindi film to show that she is interested in working and is back in films.

In fact Sneha has absolutely no qualms to confess that the film is a vehicle to launch Kumar Saahil and Sana and music director Shrawan who has produced the film wanted her to be a part of the project because he felt that she would be able to lend the film a better face value.

“I am confident that my role in Kaash Mere Hote will take me to greater heights as an actress. I play the role of Radhika in Kaas Mere Hote.

I play the role of Saahil’s girl friend who is bothered by Sana who keeps on trying to seduce Kumar Saahil. The character that I play in the film is like me-easy going and simple and straight forward and hence I did not need to prepare at all for the role of Radhika,” Sneha quips.

Sneha confesses that though personally she does not feel bad when she is compared to Aishwarya professionally she does not like the comparison. “Though I like it personally because she is beautiful, it is unfair to me professionally.

I feel that had I made my bow without Salman Khan in a film, other than Lucky, I would not have been compared to her. The comparison did not help me as an actor though I should admit that it gave me a lot of recognition”.

Sneha asserts that she worships work and does not regret at all having appeared in Aryan opposite Sohail Khan after having made her debut with Lucky opposite Salman Khan, though she concedes that she does not think that she should have got launched with Lucky because she was very young at that time.

To add to my woes, a lot of directors have an issue with my voice not at all reeling that my voice in Lucky was projected that way to make me sound like a kid to suit my role in Lucky.”

Besides Kaash Aap, Sneha has also films like Click, Dard E Disco and Green Park up her sleeves besides her films in the South.

“Sangeet Sivan called me up and offered to cast me in Click opposite Shreyas Talpade. It is a very interesting role that I play in Click. I play Shreyas’s friend who is raped by his friends. I kill myself and come back as a ghost to take revenge on the rapists”

In Ashok Tyagi’s Dard E Disco, Sneha has been cast opposite Akshay Kapoor. “I play the character of a bubbly young ad glamorous girl. The film has offered me an opportunity to tell every one in Bollywood that I am no longer a kid that I was in films like Lucy and Aryan”

Sneha is quite excited about her role in Green Park too. “I love my role in Green Park because I love talking in English and it is a film in English with Anupam Kher playing the role of my father.

I play a very modern young girl belonging to a very Westernized family settled in USA, who falls in love with an American. The film was meant to start in 2009. We have shot just the climax of the film in Goa and I am looking forward to shoot the rest of the film in the USA next year”.

Sneha is practical when it comes to exposing herself. I am ready to expose as long as I look sexy and not vulgar. In my second film, I showed nothing but my mid-riff but yet I was shown at my glamorous best in the film. I am game as far as wearing swimming costume is concerned but n bikini for me, please.”

Sneha has drawn a line as far as kissing is concerned. “Though I am now single and ready to mingle, I am not a prude but I am not game at all for kissing lip to lip in films, because I feel that you should save some thing for the bedroom.

I am an animal lover and hence promote vegetarianism and hence want my man also to be a vegetarian. I do not care about his physique but he should be presentable and quite understanding and not be a male chauvinist.”

Its Aadhavan next for Surya after completion of his current movie Ayan.

Nayantara is cast opposite to him in this movie Adhavan and KS Ravikumar is directing this movie. The film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin who had earlier produced Kuruvi.

Suriya will next play a superhero in UTV Productions’ Mugamoodi, which will be directed by Mysskin. Surya who recently got a 6 pack for his Vaaranam Aayiram is said to have done a daring stunt scene in Africa for his upcomming movie Ayan. One of the fights is supposed to have mind blowing action, and involves Surya fighting at the tip of a 600-feet valley.

Aadhavan is set to get rolling in early 2009 after KS Ravikumar finishes his Sarath-Shriya starrer Jaggubhai and Suriya finishes his Ayan opposite Tamanna.

If rumour mills are to be believed Ranbir and Deepika’s relationship is going through a rough patch rightnow. So, the latest update is apparently Om Shanti Om girl Deepika Padukone is not happy with Ranbir and Katrina’s on going romance on the sets on Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani.

Bollywood stunner Katrina recently got a lot of attention from Ranbir on the sets of Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film. Ranbir is busy keeping Katrina regaled with his humour and antics, also all the effort by Kapoor boy is yielding desired results too as it has led to a lot of on set and off set cuddling and much more.

According to sources, as soon as Deepika got the wind of Ranbir’s new found fondness for Katrina, she arrived on the sets and the two ended up fighting. The converstaion ended on a bitter note.
