Suzy shared what she likes about her character on her hit drama ‘Book of the House of Gu’ during the interview.

“Yeo Wool is charming because she has a cool personality. If I think it will really be of help to me, I will take on the challenge,” she said.

Min, who also took on acting in ‘Reckless Family 2’, shared her goals as an actress.

In the latest celebrity update, Channing Tatum is producing a reality show about his New Orleans burlesque club.

In fact the Variety reports that Tatum was inspired to open up Saints and Sinners on the city’s famous Bourbon Street in 2012 after starring in strip movie Magic Mike. Now he’s taking cameras behind-the-scenes at the venue.

The untitled small screen project will follow the entertainers at the establishment for the planned series at US network A&E according to the outlet.

The show is currently in the pilot stage.

The actor and his Saints and Sinners partner Keith Kurtz are reportedly producing through the star’s 33andOut Productions banner alongside Charlie Corwin at Original Media.

However, it’s not yet known if Tatum will appear on the show.

The Hollywood hunk’s work as a male stripper before his mainstream success has paid off so far.

Furthermore, Steven Soderbergh directed Magic Mike, loosely based on Channing’s early days as an exotic dancer, and the film was a huge box office hit with earnings topping $100 million.

The 33 years old actor was quizzed last year on reports there may be a sequel in the pipeline but admitted he would be reluctant to work on another installment without the celebrated helmer.

“You know, we don’t know if it’s going to happen yet. We want it to happen. We’d love it to be a road trip movie, but Soderbergh’s not directing – like done. He’s like actually gone. It’s hard to imagine doing the movie without him,” Channing told MTV News.

Meanwhile, Channing has no shortage of work. He recently signed on to star opposite Nick Zano for a multi-camera comedy at CBS according to Variety.

For Shaina, the key to overcoming the child star “curse” is evolving.

“Actually nag-awkaward stage naman ako, yes. But ginusto ko kasi siguro to evolve so I had to push for it. I wanted to do more mature roles. And I did mature roles when I turned 18,” she said.

The Kapamilya star is very thankful because unlike others who started young in showbiz, she remains in the industry she once considered her playground.

“In a way iniisp ko na lang imbes na parang feeling ko may na-miss out ako, I just wanna be thankful kasi at a very young age andami kong na-experience na hindi na-experience ng normal na bata. And until now I’m still here,” she said.

The 24 years old actress confessed that there is no lack or showbiz didn’t steal her childhood.

“Lacking? Wala naman. Kasi kung anuman siguro ‘yung kinulang, napunana naman ng ibang bagay. And for me this is my passion. I love acting. I love what I do. So I guess if you love what you do, walang kulang doon. More of fulfillment pa nga ‘yung feeling mo,” she said.

Meanwhile, Shaina’s wish is to be able to experience school again first-hand.

“I’m praying na maramdaman ko naman ‘yung feeling life sa university. Actually that’s my wish. I look up to Rica Paralejo and Agot Isidro who went back to school nung medyo naglie-low na sila. You know this is not naman forever. Right now na parang todo pa siya, trabaho muna, take advantage of it. But when time comes, I did home study sa Angelicum. Una, Montessori I was able to do regular school until first year high school. And when I did home schooling, I didn’t enjoy it,” the Juan dela Cruz star confessed.

In the latest celebrity update, the star of TV5’s upcoming series “The Gift” was wearing an engagement ring when she attended the new show’s story conference, so the answer could be “yes”.

In fact, Nadine admitted that her businessman-fiancé Richard Chua surprised her by presenting the ring last July, when he knelt before her, and asked, “Will you marry me?” while a video was recording the big occasion.

Richard chose Sofitel as the setting of his proposal and the scenery is the Manila Bay.

“May papanoorin kami – yung ‘Dirty Dancing’ sa CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) pero hindi ko alam na hindi natuloy. So nagpunta kami sa Sofitel for coffee. With us were my mom, brother ko and his mom. Nagkayayaan kaming lumabas kami sa pool area,” Nadine recalls.

To Nadine’s surprise, Richard took out a video camera and trained it on her. When she asked what it was all about, Richard told her he just wanted to take videos. It turns out he was only preparing this for the main even leading to the proposal by Manila Bay.

“Tinanong niya ako, ‘How much do you love me?’ so sabi ko ‘I love you so much!’ then he asked me to take a video of him. He asked me to ask him how much I love him. Ang sagot niya, ‘More than anything else in the world,” She explained.

And then, it happened. Nadine recounted how flustered Richard looked when he asked Nadine,” Pag may binigay ako sayo, may surprise ako.”

Without any warning, Richard dropped to his knwws and popped the question.

However, unlike any other girls, Nadine didn’t cry. She was even amused.

“Hindi ko maintindihan ang reaction ko. Natawa ako kasi yung singsing baligtad. It’s so funny! So sinasabi ko sa kanya, ‘Seryoso ka ba?” she said.

Since then, Nadine started wearing her engagement ring and never left her finger.

“Kailangan parati komg suot ito,” she said.

Apparently Nadine said one of her interview before that she doesn’t want to invest her time in the wrong man until Richard came along.

“We have the same taste – in movies and music. Magkaugali kami. I have this gut feel tha he’s the one,” she shared.

In the latest celebrity update, the two hot celebrities Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera of rival networks met at the cover photo shoot of Rogue magazine along with Judy Ann Santos, Charlene Gonzales and Anne Curtis.

In fact, Angel admitted she was hesitant to do the pictorial because it may give rise to new showbiz intrigues.

However she was relieved that the pictorial and her talk with Marian went smoothly.

“Sabi ko ‘Kailangan nating mag-usap.’ Tapos tumawa siya, (sabi) ‘Oo nga eh.’ Sabi niya pagod na raw siya kasi lagi kaming kino-compare sa isa’t isa,” Angel said.

Angel also clarified that she and Marian didn’t have personal issues. But constant comparisons and their respective fans’ conflicts somehow affected them.

“Wala kasi talaga kaming issue. Wala kaming away. Siguro nagkakaroon lang ng medyo, parang nagging aloof kami sa isa’t isa kasi lagging nacocompare. Kahit anong gawin naming, lagging may manglalait sa akin na fan niya, may manglalait sa kanya na fan ko,” she clarified.

Apparently, Angel has good words for Marian, whom she described as “funny” and “down to earth.”

“Nung nakita ko siya, natuwa naman ako sa kanya kasi kalog rin pala siya. Down-to-earth rin at lagging nakangiti. Niyakap ko siya at nagtawanan na kami at nagchihickahan sa mga nangyari sa buhay naming. Natuwa lang ako na at least sure kami na wala kaming problema,” she revealed.

Furthermore, Angel doesn’t wanted to do a project with Marian if that project will cover of a lot of issues because she thinks it will be useless for their performances, to the director and scriptwriter. Maybe it’s not the right moment but they don’t have a problem between them.

“Hindi ko alam. Honestly, kung parang magkaroon lang ng issue ang project, huwag na lang kasi saying naman ang performance naming, or yung galling ng director at ng scriptwriter kung matatabunan lang ng issue yung pelikula. Baka siguro hindi pa naaayon. Pero kami, wala kaming problema,” she said.

On the other hand, Angel admits she was initially nervous about working with Ai Ai delas Alas, who recently taken in as part of the cast.

“Masaya sobra kasi napaka-totoo ni Ms. Ai-Ai. Kung paano siya sa TV, ganoon rin siya in person. Siya si Tanging Ina na box office queen pero walang ka-ere-ere, nakikipagtawanan at nakikipaghiritan sa amin,” she shared.

Meanwhile, the sitcom will be celebrating their second anniversary in November yet they lost two of its original cast members Robin Padilla and Pokwang to other projects but Angel clarified that it’s okay because the cast respects their decisions.

“Iba talaga si kuya Binoe (Robin), pero siyempre respeto sa desisyon ng tao. Happy kami na naging part si Ms. Ai-Ai ng “Toda Max” kasi may sumalo rin sa amin at nagbalanse ng lahat. Walang issue sa set, walang awayan or anything. Career choices lang siguro at nirerespeto naman naming lahat kasi mahal naming si Kuya Binoe,” she explained.

Angel also hopes to work with Coco Martin in the sitcom’s second anniversary.

In the latest celebrity update, Jennifer Garner told Allure magazine that even though she wouldn’t surprised that her husband enter politics, she probably won’t any time soon.

“Right now feels like he can do more good for people politically from outside the system. Would I be surprised if one day he did go into politics? No. But not now,” she said during a cover shoot.

Meanwhile, Garner made headlined for joining Halle Berry in urging California lawmakers to crack down on paparazzi behavior, particularly when it comes to a celebrity’s children.

As a result, they have agreed to work closely with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) in making sure that the little girl only has child-friendly segments in her show according to the latest celebrity update.

The MTRCB chair Toto Villareal said that this close collaboration will be done within three months. He also added that the show’s producer and its network are asked to “submit concrete and time-bound remedial measures, with adequate review and feedback mechanism for the approval of MTRCB’s ad Hoc Committee.”

In fact, MTRCB noted that the only concerned over “who will deal with Ryzza Mae in her scenes and how, such that her dignity and well-being as a child are not violated.”

Acting as resource person in the meeting MTRCB called in association with the eight years old star issue was Dr. Vanessa Cainghug of the Philippine Psychiatric Association (PPA). She discussed how everyone concerned can safeguard the child’s psychological well-being in the show.

Out-of-the-way from Villareal, TAPE Inc.’s president and CEO Antonio P. Tuviera and SVP-COO Malou Choa-Fagar and GMA Network’s VP for program Management Jose Mari Abacan and legal counsel Jose Vener Ibarra attended the conference.

In the latest celebrity update, Justin Timberlake was on his way to chat to a radio station in New York City when he met Tina DiLascio, whose 13 years old daughter Giana underwent surgery on a serious blockage in her pituitary gland last year.

As Tina told Justin all about her child bravery story during her health battles, the heartthrob was so impressed he even asked to meet her.

In fact, Giana was waiting outside the building, so Tina raced outside to take her in to meet Justin, who happily waited for her. Giana is a huge fan of Justin and was very thrilled to be introduced to one of her idols. The two chatted for ‘several minutes’.

Justin also asked Giana if she had watched his performance on the MTV Video Music awards on Sunday during their chat according to TMZ.

Giana also revealed that she really enjoyed seeing him take to the stage to belt out a medley of Justin’s hits, reunite with his ‘N SYNC band mates and receive the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award for his career achievements.

Giana told to his idol that he was the ‘next Michael Jackson’ and the R&B star was clearly blown away by the compliment as he bowed his head and said “thank you”.

The teenager belongs to the ‘Make a Wish Foundation,’ a charity which helps children with life threatening realize their dreams.

Giana also asked JT if they could pose together for a photograph before Justin had to leave for his radio interview. The 32 years old star quipped that he would only agree if she made the picture her screen saver.

The singer-actor told Giana to “be well” and gave her a huge hug before they went their separate ways.

In fact, Director Mel Chionglo let them do their thing, they want to do and what they need to do for their love scene.

“Walang sumisigaw ng cut. Sabi ko nga kay Bangs, habang naglalove scene kami, binubulungan ko siya, anh sakit na ng tuhod ko. Ako kasi ‘yung nakapatong sa kanya, at ‘yung sahig ay yari sa kawayan lang, kaya ramdam ko ‘yung sakit. So, dahil pinabayaan naman kami ni Direk Mel, nu’ng feeling naming ay okey na yung eksena, kami na ang nag-cut,” Allen said.

Allen insisted that they know about it before they do the movie and they even attend a sensual workshop to take away the awkwardness if they do the scene.

“Kinausap naman kami before the scene. At saka, bago pa lang naming ginawa ang movie, alam na naming na may ganun kaming gagawin. Nag-workshop kami ni Bangs. Snsuality workshop ‘yon. Para mawala lang ‘yung ilang naming. At nakatulong ‘yon dahil nawla ang inhibitions namin. Fight kung fight kaming pareho,” Allen shared.

The actor also confessed that the most hard scene he ever did in the movie when he beat Bangs as Lauriana.

“Mahirap ‘yung role ko, dahil paiba-iba ang emotions na kailangan may scene na love na love ko siya, then, mag-iiba at magagalit ako sa kanya, at bubugbugin ko siya. Hindi ako marunong manakit ng babae, kaya nahirapan ako. Sa totoo lang, after ng scene naming, na binugbog ko siya, naawa ako kay Bangs, kasi nakikita ko talaga na nagkakapasa-pasa ang katawan niya. Hindi talaga maiwasan, eh. Naawa ako sa kanya. Pero naintindihan naman niya na work lang ito,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘Lauriana’ got the rate ‘A’ by Cinema Evaluation Board and it is also included in the All Masters Series Film Festival of Sineng Pambansa.
