Visited the American Corner ( Amcor) at the Library of Gajah Mada University UGM last Wednesday , the ambassador accepted by Head of UGM Library Ida Fajar Priyanto.

Mr.Hume accompanied by Anne E Grimes the American embassy of Culture Attache in Jakarta, University of Gajah Mada Rector Mr.Prof.Ir.Sudjarwadi M.Eng PhD, Executive Secretary of UGM Drs.Djoko Moerdiyanto MA. Mr.Ambassador wished to know about the collection of American Corner UGM nowadays and how its collection selection process.

But if you wanted to learn about the best ways to train dogs, then you'd go find out who are the experts in that field. Makes sense, right?
Basically what you want to do is identify somebody who is, right now, where you want to be in say 6 months, a year, even five years down the road.
I would suggest you narrow it down so that you are really focusing on one area. With any niche there are lots of micro-niches...for example, if you were in the information marketing niche you could be learning about list building or video marketing or product creation as just a few examples. You don't want to try to learn it all or choose a bunch of different leaders to follow. That will get overwhelming and confusing. So start in one area.
Now if you are in another niche, let's say dog training again...you might want to follow someone who is doing a really good job at marketing their dog training eBook or video or services online.
So once you have identified who you want to follow, it is time to start learning!
Get on their lists: subscribe to their ezine or newsletter, if they have videos, subscribe to their YouTube channel. Check out their blog and follow it. They may offer a course or have a coaching program, and you might want to take advantage of that. But even if they don't, or even if it is too expensive for your budget right now, you can get on their lists and learn from them.
Once you are on their lists, study what they do. How are they marketing their products or services? How often do they mail their lists? Do some competitive analysis...what keywords are they using? How often are they promoting a product in their emails or videos? Do they always promote their own products or do they also promote products by other people?
The goal here is to model what you do on their success. Don't copy what they do, but see how you can take what you learn from them and apply it to your business with your personality, your style.
Then you have to take action. You can learn and learn...literally you can spend a lot of time and money learning, and never earn a dime back. You have to take action to implement what you learn if you want to actually make money online. That is key, really to any internet marketing strategies...take what you learn and then implement it! Play "Follow the Leader" and you will have a great model to build your own successful business on.
