District Judge Christopher Simmonds is expected to grant the court order in a short hearing, and their four-year marriage will officially be over when the decree absolute is granted in six weeks.

The estranged couple asked the court to keep their names off the legal documents, and their case has been listed as "CAC v AC", for Cheryl Ann Cole and Ashley Cole.

The 27-year-old pop star is not expected to attend court as she is currently taking time out in America, where she is recuperating after falling ill with malaria.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl is in the States but is watching things very closely. She is relieved and pleased things have progressed significantly since her illness. She just wants to move on with her life and getting the divorce done will end a very painful chapter.

"It must not be forgotten Cheryl did not ask for this - the last thing she expected was to be a divorcee at 27. But once she accepted there was no way the marriage could work without the trust destroyed by her husband, the pill was a slightly less bitter one to swallow. She and Ashley have no need to stay in touch and all housing and assets will be handled by their legal representatives."

Cheryl has previously told pals she didn't want anything from Ashley, but the couple are reportedly planning to split their assets equally, while the brunette beauty will have custody of their two dougs, Buster and Coco.

Producer Judy Craymer said: 'We live in a world dominated by people wanting to be famous. What the Spice Girls did was before those shows became really what they are, and before the world become slightly obsessed by such shows.

''Viva Forever' will encompass the Spice Girls ethos of friendship, identity and being true to yourself, it won't be a tribute or bio show, nor will it feature characters with any of the names of the famous five piece.'

The show will be written and produced by Judy ' who was behind the stage adaptation of musical 'Mamma Mia!' - with comedian Jennifer Saunders. Although it analyses fame, Judy said it would, however, still include more light hearted elements.

She added: 't has a glimpse of the underbelly of TV talent shows, an invented show, and a little bit of comedy romance.'

The Spice Girls ' Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell ' all met late last year to discuss the musical and Mel B, 34, has revealed how pleased they are to be working with Judy on the project.

She said: 'All five of us are really super excited. We don't do anything unless all five agree.

"All of us loved 'Mamma Mia!'. We needed someone who would have a great vision alongside ours."

The musical will reportedly feature 14 of the group's songs and is expected to open in 2012.

The press release continues: "To wear this scent, you must resist tradition, fight conformity, and disregard aromatic conventions. In the spirit of punk, you must be willing to express yourself with abandon. You take risks and you wouldn't be adverse to creating a little mayhem."

The perfume is due to arrive in the UK soon.

He added that the couple were "found to be in possession of a controlled substance."

Bail was set for the star - whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr - and his wife at $10,000 each. Both were released at 4am this morning (02.09.10) and are due in court to answer the charges tomorrow (03.09.10).

T.I. ' who married Tameka just five weeks ago - remains on probation following a 2008 federal conviction on illegal weapons charges. He spent seven months in prison, followed by 90 days in a halfway house before being released in March this year.

Although the terms of his sentence state that any kind of violation would result in more time behind bars, Deputy Jeff Gordon said that since T.I. was allowed to post bail on the drug charge, it did not appear that his probation from the federal charge would be affected by Wednesday night's arrest.

Fans and promoters alike seem to be getting in a huff over Axl led bands performances.

According to The Irish Times Axl and his cohorts walked on-stage at 10.25pm - an hour and a half late, to be greeted by a barrage of boos.

As guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal tried to rouse the crowd by playing the opening riff of 'Welcome To The Jungle', he was met by a further chorus of booing, some "Fuck youse" and the odd bottle.

The band have been on hiatus since Gray was found dead in Iowa after an accidental overdose of prescription painkillers.

The band have a DVD on the way called '(Sic)nesses'. It was recorded live at U.K.'s famed Download festival in Leicestershire. The DVD will be available in Australia from September 24 and September 28 in the USA.

In the meantime, drummer Joey Jordinson is touring with The Murderdolls and DJ Sid Wilson is gearing up to release his first solo album.

'We're still dealing with the passing of Paul, God rest his soul,' Jordison told the Des Moines Register. 'But Paul would never want us to not make another Slipknot record.'

He went on to add that 'life is definitely a lot more precious now. Music right now, really, when I play it, it's like I'm playing it for all the people that I've lost.'

He went on to say that the band will continue to release music, but Gray will not be replaced. The band will make up is bass parts in the studio. That might be quite some time, however.

They also played a new (or, shall we say 'rare') song at the show, called 'Cigarettes And Valentines'.

Idolator informs us that the track was actually the title to an album which was recorded in 2003 but was never released because the master tapes were stolen.

Instead of rerecording that album, Green Day started again and wrote a little record called American Idiot.

Imagine that for a parallel universe.

This leads us to speculate that we'll hear the songs from Cigarettes And Valentines sometime soon, whether on a new recording or as part of this live record.

Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl is the latest teen TV star to try and cross over to music. She is no Miley or Britney though; instead she's a girl that wants to rock!!

Right from seeing the cover with a young girl in a leather jacket holding a lit cigarette lighter you know this is going to be different. ‘Light Me Up’ contains 10 tracks that primarily show Taylor and co rocking in a sort of Avril Lavigne meets Hole meets Pink mash up. Current single ‘Miss Nothing’ is quite Pink, whereas tracks like 'My Medicine' are grungeier sounding, and looking for some controversy lyrically along the way.

The album is sort of commercial in its sound, although it is quite rocky. There are elements of Blondie and Alanis in here as well; both commercial rock chicks!

‘ Just Tonight’ is definitely one of the stronger tracks on here, after ‘Miss Nothing’, and is surely a contender for future single. Likewise, Teen break-up song – ‘Since You're Gone’ - is another contender withy it's strong riffs and relate-to lyrics. It's not all rock and guitars though (well almost!), as Taylor does close down the 10 tracks with 'You' which is as close to a ballad as you are likely to hear!

‘Light Me Up’ doesn’t really bring anything new musically, however Taylor Momsem has certainly delivered an energy filled album that is aimed at teenagers looking to rock rather than Party in the USA.

The bodyguards reportedly accompany Paris and Prince to their classes, to their lockers and even watch them during lunch hour.

Michael's mother Katherine ' the children's legal guardian - was said to be sceptical over sending the eldest two to school, feeling it would be against the wishes of Michael who had always had them taught at home.

However, the son of one of Katherine's other children, Jermaine Jackson, stepped in and encouraged her to allow Prince and Paris to experience the wider world.

The youngest of Michael's children, eight-year-old Prince Michael II - known as Blanket ' is still schooled at home, as he is said to be shy and the family feel he is not ready to move out of the home schooling environment.

In his ongoing tune-per-week experiment, Kanye released the track, and thankfully it gets low and gritty, sampling Wu classic 'Ain't Nothin' Ta Fuck Wit' with only occasional Bieber trillings.

Right after he remixed the world's biggest tween star, Mr. West revealed that he'll do a joint album with the world's biggest rap star Jay-Z.

As this series began we saw a contestant who tried her hardest to wow the judges and those who like to place an X Factor Bet (http://betting.betfair.com/specials/xfactor/).

Katie Waissel did make the audience stop and listen but her own nerves and personality took the attention that was needed away from her voice. Katie arrived at the London auditions looking promising. Katie had a good musical background, she played the guitar, piano and claimed to write her own songs. Alongside her Madonna inspired image Katie appeared ready to step straight into a pop stars shoes.

But Katie's audition plans were thrown into a blunder when her first choice Etta James' At Last, were rejected by Simon as he said he had heard it so many times before. She was asked to give her second choice Queens' We Are the Champions a try instead. Katie was unprepared and out of sorts to have Simon change the order of proceedings, she began to sing and messed up the first line having to start again. The looks from the panel were disappointed.

Katie regained control started the track again and managed the first verse of the song which was great but unfortunately overshadowed by how nervous and unsteady she looked on stage after the shake up of what she'd planned to be a smooth audition. The audience showed their appreciation but it wasn't enough, Louis Walsh quickly rained on her parade, after such a build up he expected more from her, she wasn't prepared.

Pleading with the judges she managed to persuade Simon to give her 20seconds to win Louis over with her first choice. Immediately you could see hope return to Katie's face. She blew the audience away with her performance and sounded great. But this still wasn't enough for Louis, Katie only made it through with two yes's.

Katie needs to work on her nerves so that the attention is on her performance and voice. Will Boot Camp prepare her for her next performance so we can see that star quality shine through?
