Looks like a normal mascara on the outside, BUT there is something unique about this mascara... it runs on battery and it has a rotating brush!

As the product already comes with 2x LR1130 batteries, we basically just need to remove the insulation spacer to sort of activate the batteries. To use the mascara, press the button (as shown in picture, button just located near the insulation spacer) on the cap to activate rotation, select the rotating direction.

Clockwise: for top eyelash

Anti-clockwise: for bottom eyelash

This is my first time owning a rotating mascara and I am addicted to using it, and I use it very often because it is really fun and give great results. I do not have to coat my lashes in a zig-zag motion with this rotating brush mascara, because the rotating motion coats every single lash on its own. All I have to do is just slowly work my brush from the root to the tip of my eye lashes. Tadaa.. within less than a minute, my eyelashes look so much longer and volumized! Now my lashes can be seen! I also love the fact that it manages to separate each strand of lashes without any clumps.

Before the start of the treatment, the friendly and knowledgeable consultant performed a detailed hair and scalp analysis to diagnose the root of my hair and scalp problem, and recommended the appropriate treatments that were suitable for my hair problem.

My oily scalp and clogged follicles are the main culprits of my hair loss problem and the consultant explained that it was due to my underlying sebaceous glands producing excess sebum, most probably a result of hormonal changes, heredity or stress etc. One simple remedy is to cleanse my scalp, and nourish my hair follicles and scalp through Trichokare’s hair treatment that uses only natural premium European herbs like Rosemary, Lavender, Nettles, Jojoba , Aloe Vera , Burdock, Horsetail, Sage and Leopard’s Bane that are trusted by European herbalists for centuries.

This is where I was seated during the treatment, a cozy area with nice and soothing music. I was served by a friendly Hair Specialist named Yvonne, who started off by asking how was my day and introducing herself, a good way to interact with customers and made them feel welcomed.

The first step of the treatment was to cleanse my scalp and hair. I was led to the hair-washing area and the first thing Yvonne did was to cover my body with a big thick towel ,because it was indeed pretty cold there. Feeling all relaxed and comfortable, Yvonne started to shampoo my hair and scalp with a minty shampoo, I can still remember how COLD my scalp felt even until now. You see the temperature of the outlet was pretty low, plus the shampoo-ing gave a very cooling and minty effect on my scalp. In short, it was VERY COLD then, BUT I was enjoying every moment of it because the massage done on my scalp felt AMAZINGLY SOOTHING & RELAXING. After she rinsed the shampoo, I thought she would proceed to condition my hair, but I was wrong, she continued to pamper me with second round of shampoo-ing and massaging, and told me that double cleansing will ensure that the scalp will be thoroughly cleansed. How NICE!

Then I went back to my seat where Yvonne continued with the next step of the treatment in which she massaged a mask called Energizing Serum onto my scalp. It felt more like a shampoo to me, because there was foam seen as she massaged the serum onto my scalp.. but it’s a form of hair mask to nourish my hair scalp and follicles. That massage went on for a good 10 minutes or so, before Yvonne rinsed off the hair mask and blow dry my hair.

I was pretty surprised when Yvonne placed this warm bean bag/cushion-like thingy over my shoulder and gave me a relaxing shoulder massage. The constant heat produced from the cushion certainly gave me much warmth during the treatment!

Yvonne also treated my hair with some hair oil to nourish my hair ends, before giving my scalp and hair an Infrared light therapy, to kill any bacteria on scalp and to penetrate the products onto my scalp.

Yes, Smooth and silky hair at the end of the whole treatment, but mostly importantly is there any improvements on my greasy scalp? Pictures of my scalp were taken again after my hair treatment…

I was delighted that I was able to see improvements on my scalp condition in just one session – my scalp was much cleaner, not so oily and my hair follicles were opened (the way healthy hair follicles should look like). I certainly enjoyed my relaxing hair treatment session and was pampered by the friendly and professional Hair Specialists.

Recently I attended Vichy Bloggers' Event and received these new products from its Normaderm range. I have to say the very first time I used this foundation, I layered like 4 pumps of product over my whole skin which was prepped with a tinted primer and the result was not ideal- it sort of made my skin look dull and appeared much darker than my skin tone. - And I figured something must be wrong somewhere...

So I used back my trusted face primer - Clarins Instant smooth line correcting concentrate which melted into my skin, creating a smooth canvas before I applied just 1 pump of foundation on one side of my skin using just a sponge.. And Voila! The result was fabulous and I could see my not-perfect skin instantly transformed to a much better skin! (Picture as shown above) It is pretty magical that the trick is to use less of the foundation yet it is able to even out skin tone, making skin look radiant, and smoother in just seconds. Thanks to the amazing Light-Optimizing+ Complex! I love how this lightweight foundation melts into my skin to give a better skin effect as though its my second skin, with just 2 pumps of product for my whole face.

Did I mention that the foundation is pretty lasting too? my makeup can last throughout the evening/night (about 6-8 hours) without the need to touch-up..

My thoughts...

Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture comes in a simple, fuss-free screw cap jar. This type of jar packaging means that we have to go an extra step when we want to use the product, either by using a Q-tip or spatula to scoop out the moisturiser.

The texture of this product is like a gel, which spreads easily when I massaged it onto skin. It felt slightly oily when it came into contact with my skin, but it just melted into my skin seconds after, leaving skin feeling really smooth. It also has a nice subtle scent that is not too overwhelming.

My skin just feel instantly hydrated and smooth after application of the moisturiser. I love how it made my skin feel totally smooth and plump after I woke up from my sleep the next day. It certainly keeps my skin well hydrated throughout the day and night. I feel that I am feeding my skin cells with water when I am using Murad Dynamic Ultimate Moisture.

The cleanser comes in a no-frills tube packaging which has an ultra small opening allows me to dispense just the right amount of product required, without unnecessary spillage or wastage.

This is one of the unique selling point of the product - a bubble-free cleanser which is said to contain NO negative charges, and NO chemical residues which may cause acne, fine lines and other related skin problems.

I was pretty excited when I received this cleanser as it is meant for sensitive and acne-prone skin (yes, exactly like my skin type). Comprising of 4 different themes starting with different submission dates, the competition aims to capture the essence of “City In A Garden” through the lenses of Singaporeans. 1) Our Parks and Garden

Our parks are designed to cater to a wide range of lifestyle needs. These idyllic green spaces complemented with the various amenities available, such as spas, pony rides as well as sports facilities, make parks and gardens key preferred destinations for recreation. Whether for leisure, nature appreciation, a quiet evening walk or sports, your park experience can be special every time. There is a park for everyone.

It is important to realise that just like other parts of the body, a woman's intimate area requires special care and attention.

Therefore, we need feminine hygiene wash. / wipes to maintain the healthy pH level of our V-Zone.

Our V-Zone is of pH 3.8 to 4.5. Normal body wash are usually more alkaline which will reduce the natural protection of the V-Zone. The skin and lining surrounding a woman's intimate area contains "friendly" bacteria, which produces an acid known as lactic acid. This acid maintains a healthy environment and prevents the growth of "unfriendly" bacteria or yeast, which can cause infection.

Hence the feminine hygiene wash that we choose should be gentle enough yet help to protect against infections and irritations.

I love the sweet apple scent of the serum. It is lightweight in texture and absorbs instantly into skin, making my skin feel really smooth and brighter right after application. I had only used the product for less than a week so its too early to see any obvious results. However, one thing I noticed is these days my makeup is more lasting as it does not oxidise that much. I am impressed with it!
