Antoher Christmas!

2010-12-29T22:50:00.000-08:00

I guess when you have kids all the gifts are no longer for you but for your little one. I don't mind since I get to play with the toys anyway. This year I got two movies: Beauty & the Beast <3 && Eclipse!!
My little Aiden got way more gifts than I did. :D He got some Mickey Mouse toys, Handy Manny tools, a tent & tunnel and much more.

I can't believe how time as quickly flown by. Just last year my Aiden couldn't even walk now he is starting to run. It's amazing how fast they grow. It makes me think about when I first found out I was pregnant and all that I dealt with. I am happy he is my little baby who is not so little anymore. He walks around saying 'uh-oh' when he does something bad, throws away the trash, says pamper when he's wet or is about to pee. He is so grown up.

Aussie

2010-11-21T18:56:00.000-08:00

Lately my hair has been feeling rough on the tips. It's like if I straighten my hair to much and the tips are dried out but the fact is I don't straighten my hair. "/

Well my Natalie recommend the '3 Minute Miracle' from Aussie.

My thoughts: OMG!! I love it!

When you first put it on it smells amazing.

You leave it on for about 3 minutes then rinse with warm water then cool water.

This product left my hair soft and looking healthy.

I highly recommend this if you want you hair to feel softer.

I got mine on sale for about $2.99; it's a good bargain even if it's not on sale.

thats whats up

127lbs

2010-10-22T16:17:00.000-07:00

I know, I know where have I been. Well once again the internet decided to be lame and not work. I know I said I would do some reviews; gel liner, two mascaras, makeup remover cleaners, core rhythms and some other random things.

For the longest time I have been trying to lose some weight. This time I got serious about my workout and what I ate. I watched my portions and now I'm down to 124. In total I have lost 6lbs. My ultimate goal is 115.

Thoughts in my head: has it really been that long since I've done a blog. Since July, wow.
Anyway my internet is finally NORMAL. :) I've bought new make-up and cleansers so maybe I'll do a review on some stuff.

Life has been crazy, I don't go out much but with Aiden my days are an adventure. He has a ton of teeth coming in. :x

Have a great day!

update

2010-07-18T21:16:00.000-07:00

Hello!!

OKAY.. I think finally my Internet on my laptop is somewhat working normal now :D
I feel like I haven't been on here in a long time.

Any way Summer2 has started and so far I like my class.

The professor though is all over the place when she talks.

She changes subject and goes into little stories ALOT!

My mom and step dad left for vacation early this morning.
I kinda feel childish for admitting this but I already miss my mom

and it hasn't been a full day yet. My mom is my best friend.

She's my rock, we 'fight' over little things then laugh about it.

I wish we(Aiden & I) could have gone with them. :/

but there's not enough room in a truck.

Anyway I wish my parents a safe trip & I hope the time goes by fast.

2010-07-12T13:38:00.000-07:00

Lately my internet on my laptop hasn't been working...which is really annoying.
The internet on the main computer works just fine.
So why is it being so lame?!

Any way summer1 is officially over I had my final today & hopefully I pass.

Celebrate!!

2010-07-04T13:07:00.000-07:00

Happy 4th of July!!

NYX

2010-07-03T22:00:00.000-07:00

NYX Palettes in Jazz Night & For Your Eyes Only in Smokey Eyes!

I've had these for awhile and I am very pleased with them.

There are 10 shadows in each palette and cost around 8 to 9$

The pigmentation is good considering the price.

The only bad thing I would have to say about this product is:

the wear. I've worn these shadows with Urban Decay Primer Potion

and just the shadows itself. The shadows alone don't last as long but with a good eye primer that shouldn't be a problems. Well here are some random swatches from both palettes.

sorry the swatches are bad :/ I was in a dim room.

So with that said in done, I'm pleased with this brand and I can't wait to buy some more of their products (but having a little one puts all the money I have into pampers, food, wipes and daycare)

Anyway on my wish list: ALL the jumbo eye pencils!

What's your favorite product from NYX?

storm

2010-06-29T20:09:00.000-07:00

No school for the rest of the week. All classes have been canceled due the hurricane/tropical storm "Alex". I'm not sure how bad it will get but I hope things don't get to bad.

Yesterday I went to H-E-B to buy 'belle food' (that's what my mom calls the food I buy for myself) & a Maybeline bronzer. So when I went to go pay I noticed that a lot of people were paying and I mean a lot. A lot more the usual and I was thinking why..is there a holiday coming up....then it clicked their getting ready for the hurricane. At-least 2 out of 3 shopping carts had a huge package of water bottles.

My little Aiden one day old ♥

After all the tears and poopy pampers my little Aiden is finally ONE!!

Like I said I'm horrible when it comes to taking pictures on special occasions.
But here is my Aiden and his birthday cake ^_^

Oh & he's gifts we adorable.

Some were even Toy Story ones :D

what's up

2010-06-23T07:39:00.000-07:00

It's actually surprisingly surprising for me to say I've been really busy. I usually don't do much; just take care of my little one but school and Aiden's party this past weekend has taken up most of my time.

Aiden's 1st birthday party was awesome, though I don't have pictures. I'm horrible when it comes to taking photos on special events :x The theme was Toy Story! Aiden got Toy Story toys that I want to keep for myself! (:

Random

~school actually seems to be going well for me. So far I've been getting terrific grades and I just need to keep up the good work and not slack off.

~I've made a commitment to myself to get healthy and into shape. I've been watching what I eat and how much I eat. No more sodas either; though I will admit I have 2 sodas a week if I accidentally reach for one and open it ;x I've also been working out everyday. At least once a day for about 30 minutes, sometimes I'll workout twice a day. I can honestly say I've been seeing a slight difference. Hopefully I can reach to my goal which is to lose the 'love handles' and the belly!

I've been wanting sprinkle cookies from the bakery :/ maybe this weekend we'll get some.

Toy Story 3

Photos are from pixar

I can't wait for this movie to come out!

planning

2010-06-16T12:01:00.000-07:00

I'm so excited!! Tomorrow my little one turns 1 and were planning a BBQ for him on Saturday (: We decided on a theme last week....Toy Story 3! I really wanted the theme to be Phineas and Ferb but my mom said that would be more my thing. :x Either way Toy Story is adorable so it's a win! So till the weekend we'll be planning and getting everything ready for the party.

The cake: I really want to get a cup-cake-cake! My mom looked at some at HEB and said they had one that has 35 and she thinks that's not enough cupcakes! Wish me luck on finding a cake.

Have fantastic day!

6 months

2010-06-10T21:46:00.000-07:00

What if one day you were told you that you have about 6 months to live.

Today my dad called me to see how I was doing and the next thing he was told me, shocked me. He said that my cousin who is 26 years old 'has cancer, stomach cancer'. The doctors gave him about 6 months to live. :/ He has advanced stomach cancer. I still can't believe it, I feel like that whole conversation didn't happen, but it did. It's like when someone close to you is dealing with something like cancer it just makes all the worries/troubles I have seem so small. How can I compare my troubles to cancer? There is nothing more courageous than seeing my cousin fighting and keeping his faith in God. "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it." I hope God can hear all our prayers and heal him! I know I haven't seen my cousin in years, the last time I saw him was at our grandfathers funeral (thanksgiving 09), but he's family and he means the world to me. I don't know how I'll handle it if he's gone. I don't deal with death to well. He's a fighter, has strength, has faith and so do I.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the
Lord his hope and confidence

Well I'm loving these creme shadows,
For me they last the day & i love the colors.
They blend well and feel soft on my eyes.
