Password: secrets to a strong password

Passwords are Secure Combination of alphabets, number words or sentences use to protect our files, folders, emails, credit cards etc.

Common mistake computer and Internet Users make is using the same name and passwords for several, If not all their accounts on different websites.

Hackers can steal Passwords and user name and then try the combination on other popular websites like yahoo, Gmail, Google, facebook, pay pal etc. This is why most people have their accounts compromised.

So how can I have a strong and secured password?

In as much as we need to use complex passwords, we also need to be able to remember them.

Below is a list of hints on having a strong and secure password.

Bad passwords

1. Your name

2. Birthdays

3. Combination such as your birthday and your spouses’ months and days of your birthday anniversary days.

4. Combination of name of year of birth.

Recommended Passwords

1. Combination of capital letter, small letters, numbers and special characters.

E.g. Master&! 65

@46m! Total

2. Carnegie Mellon university according to CNN recommends using sentences as passwords.

E.g. I hate the new naira note!

The Secret to looking good is-money!!!.

3. Researches from Georgia institute of technology. US, advises that best solution is to have a 12 digit Character Password.

The researchers found it could take 17,134 years to crack such password using high processing power.

Bluetooth not working on windows 7

This seems to be a common problem, so no need to be frighten c o s it`s not peculiar to you. My Compaq mini was pre -installed with windows x p home edition. In a bid to enjoy Microsoft’s “new” operating system; windows 7, I installed one I got from a friend. Though it gave me a 3-day activation period but I was able to remove the activation with (WAT) -windows activation

Unfortunate, My Bluetooth device was not detected nor installed. I installed the Broadcom Bluetooth Software; it could not detect my Bluetooth device

After a lot of search, I found the solution.

Solution

Ø Install Atheros wireless LAN driver (I don’t know how it is related to Bluetooth device but it worked. This enables the Bluetooth device to be detected.

Ø Install the Bluetooth software and restart windows.

ØIf all things go well, your Bluetooth device should be installed and working.

Configuration for Download Accelerator

Download "Download accelerator" and install the same.
Click on >>Tools>>options.
On the proxy / firewall under HTTP proxy setting, put mtn ip, port, username and password in the respective spaces. Do the same for FTP proxy too.
Use FTP in the PASV mode should be left unchecked.
On the CONNECTION page, select user agent DA 7.0 from the drop down menu. After all these you are good to go now. So if you want to download any stuff on your pc when u reach the download page, copy the link and then open your download accelerator, click on the "ADD" menu, then paste it there. Click ok. Then the manager will load, after that click open, your download will begin immediately.

1. Download and install opera 8.52, not any other opera version. It’s about 3.6mb in size.
2. After the installation, launch opera. Locate & click on ADVANCE>>CONTENT
Disable the JAVASCRIPT there. That should be the small box in front of java script is now empty.
3. Click on SECURITY>>SECURITY PROTOCOL.
Tick all the small boxes except the following boxes; 0-bit Authentication Only (RSA/MDS), 0-bit Authentication Only (RSA/SHA). Then click ok.
4. Click on NETWORK>>PROXY SERVERS.
Tick the small box before HTTP and fill the mtn ip: 10.199.212.2 port: 8080.
On HTTPS box fill in 203.42.214, port: 80.
On the FTP, put 195.189.142.80195.189.142.68, port: 80.
On the GOPHER box, 10.199.212.2 port: 8080.
Then click OK.
5. Make your HOMEPAGE to be http://loaded.mtnonline.com@www.sureproxy.com or cheat@any site

-then scroll down to where you will see Opera IP,

-Uncheck server error and save
- For Opera homepage, type:

-Lunch Internet from PC Suite and use Opera 6.5 to browse.
-You can use other versions of Opera browser.

"I am a digital artist and I find this computer amazing for Photoshop work. I experience no apparent lag on the stylus. The computer also has a great deal of virtual power for its size. I was able to play a lot of my favorite PC games and they looked great on the HD display. Another great feature not really detailed is the array of buttons to simplify the experience. Buttons line up around the display including Rotate Screen, Internet, and Media! Portrait mode looks great. My favorite part is definitely the handwriting recognition. It's amazing!!! I have pretty bad handwriting but it totally recognizes each word correctly. I have yet to see it recognize a word incorrectly. The laptop is lightweight, portable, and very sleek. I also really like the pre-packaged wallpapers! The WACOM pen that is included feels great and doesn't become uncomfortable as time goes on like many other pens. The touchscreen works great and does its job. The finger-print thingy is pretty amazing. I didn't know that it could literally be used in any login parameter including old games. I tried it on Warcraft III and it actually worked!!! All in all I am extremely impressed with the computer and glad I bought it.Ian"

"So, I don't know that I consider this laptop 100% amazing, but I can't think of any faults with it. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I love it. I use it for school daily.I had a small problem with the keyboard, but it was a fluke that could happen with any laptop and was easily fixed once I called customer service.Some reviews spoke of the heat and the noise as huge problems. Well, I haven't noticed any huge amount of noise when the laptop is running at a high percentage. As far as the heat goes, well what laptop doesn't get hot when you are running a lot of programs, or just a few that require a high CPU percentage?My point is, so far, I think this is an awesome laptop."
