Why am I instantly agitated? Below is a video that literally had me in tears. This lady went grocery shopping and left her child in the car. She was so busy shopping and gossiping with her friends that she neglected her son that was still in the car!

I am not understanding the various reasons that parents think that it is okay to leave a child in the car alone. I can imagine that the role of a parent may be overwhelming. However, your child's needs out weighs your own. If I ever see a child in a car alone, for whatever reason, I will call the police.

Though I know that this is just a story, it is a very accurate account of the many deaths the occur due to parental neglect. Take your kids with you! If you are not fit to parent, give your child to someone that can. This is murder!

A few loyal friends is a lot better than a having a bunch of snakes in your camp. Once you get pass the feeling of possibly being alone, you start to realize that it is better to "be alone for the right reasons, than be with a bunch of people for the wrong reasons".

Stop caring about being popular. If you choose popularity over everything else, you will lead a very popular but sad existence. I have learned to weave out those who were not genuine that was in my circle. Now, I am lighter, free, and happier than I have been a very long time. DO YOU HAVE SNAKES IN YOUR CAMP? The Impossible Resolution: The No Soda Diet

Every year, for the past 5 years, I have made one resolution. It has always been the same resolution. I tell my family and my friends what that resolution is and they continue to look at me in disbelief. However, this year, I am determined to actually follow through. Every blue moon, I will let you know how my resolution is going.

THE RESOLUTION: No Soda for 1 year!

I know this may seem easy and probably what you weren't thinking. You may be asking how hard can it be to stop drinking pop for 1 year. If you aren't a soda drinker, you will not understand. You will not understand the need for having a Pepsi or Coke at least two or three times daily. You will not understand the need to have a nice, ice cold, Dr. Pepper during dinner. You will not understand the look of joy on ones face to see the little bubbles that rise up when you are pouring a nice Sprite into a clear glass.

I know that we all claim that we don't worry. Most even claims that at this very moment you are not mad at anyone. However, there is that one person that has pissed you off to the point where you are sitting there plotting revenge, you are cussing at the top of your lungs, you are wishing that the person got into a bad accident or at least, feel what you are feeling at this very moment.

The best thing that you can do for the enemy, the enemy can be yourself or someone else, is to be silent and walk away. Start asking yourself this question: How does someone else's drama effect you? Walk away. Let it go. Being angry is toxic. Don't drink that poison! Don't drink that poison! Don't drink that poison!

Yeah, I Can Fix It On My Own

This year, has been a true test of my own personal will power. In 2012, I have realized my own personal strengths. When something or someone isn't working, whether it's with a boyfriend/girlfriend, spouse, best friend, or professional relationship, the most difficult thing to do isn't to walk away. However, staying away from being pulled back into these toxic relationships is the most difficult.

For example, imagine some of your toxic relationships as a flame of an open fire. The mixture of red, blue, and gold can be intoxicating. However, we know that if we put our hands on that flame or closer to the flame that we are going to get burned. Therefore, would you continue to stay in a situation knowing that you are going to get burned or would you get the hell out? Would you go back to the situation when you know that the outcome isn't going to change?

Despite my feelings for people that was in my life, I had to take into account my own feelings. How did he or she make me feel? How was I truly feeling? Often times, I buried my own hurt and disappointment to make others happy. This had to end.

I encourage everyone going into this new year to start considering your own feelings. You can get burnt cause YOU put your hand under that open flame. It is up to you to take yourself out of a hot or toxic situation. Its not heartless to start putting yourself first for once. It is heartless to allow people to stomp all over your heart and feelings. This year, I have learned that I can fix it on my own. Fix what, is a question you may ask. I have learned to fix my own heart and to not let toxic people destroy me. Now, its your turn.

I am looking for ACTIVE administrators for both this Each Others Keeper blog and the Keepers facebook page. I am looking for administrators to post fresh and unique content at least 2 to 3 times a week. Also, having knowledge about SEO and generating traffic is definitely a plus.

Let me tell you a little about Each Others Keeper. This site started off as a hobby cause I was unemployed. It was originally a political blog. However, it has turned into so much more.
